VISITED JULY 7th 2023 To the staff, bakers, Maddy especially, everyone. I'd like to seriously thank everyone for making this dream come true. To be super honest my lil one honestly wasn't able to taste it (due to a series of unfortunate events and a lot of build ups the day ended bad).... But I'm not going to dwell on that. What I'm here to do is right a review...that's what I do! Seriously from the first day I was stressing about finding a "school approved" super extra duper vegan cupcakes. Since I was planning my daughter's school approved daycare lil tiny party since her actual bday is tomorrow. I never realized how hard it is to seriously search for vegan bakeries ESPECIALLY IN THE CITY. It's like when I'm not looking for anything vegan I actually SEE IT but as an option! When I am looking it's like finding a needle in a haystack! It's actually difficult finding anything vegan! But after dealing with Erin's team..seriously I was THAT customer calling and asking questions...Maddy and her staff made everything just smooth while ordering through the PHONE! I didn't even visit to place an order! I literally spoke as if we were buddies talking! The process was easy! Yet I asked a lot!... The ambiance is very tiny and small styled cafe ish establishment. Since you're only meant to place and order and go. So I didn't stay too long. The presentation of my cupcake... my daughter's cupcake was and is beautiful! I ordered the vanilla pink frosting cupcake. It was just amazing.... I am depressed. To be honest. I'm on my way home and I honestly felt like I wasted this establishment time because I ordered this one special cupcake for my daughter. I got extremely excited especially when I was given tips on how to preserve it from getting spoiled ... thanks to the cashiers. I literally went across the street and grabbed several ice cups and made a cocoon surrounding this masterpiece... I went through a lot... for nothing because this bakery customer service overall is PERFECT. I'm deeply upset I couldn't present this to my daughter due to unfortunate stressful event.. Thank you everyone and Please support this fine vegan establishment this local mast

Please head over to this adorable place - currently they are undergoing renovation because they experienced a fire however, there desserts are still and perhaps even more dangerously delicious. Do not take my advice go by and try the brownies or the pudgies and you will thank me! This I know for sure. Trust me, do it!

Evelyn's Kitchen catered my son's bar mitzvah and did an amazing job! The food was delicious -- very fresh, with lots of fruit and vegetables as well as herbs accentuating natural flavors. The staff (servers, etc) were incredibly helpful, professional, and went above and beyond the tasks at hand. Attention-to-detail was top-notch. I'm incredibly grateful for the fabulous service, food/drinks, and even design/decor. We kept hearing how great the food was and how awesome the staff was! Thank you so much!!

Excellent, all around! I ordered 4 dozen Pudgies several months ago as dessert/take-aways for my husband's birthday party. They were wrapped beautifully, and they were a great hit. This Thanksgiving found me recovering from a surgery, so I needed a bit of help with dinner. I ordered some sides, including Mac and Cheese, Cornbread Stuffing, Red-Skinned Mashed Potatoes and some Gravy. All Delicious, and delivered the day before with simple instructions. Many Thanks to Evelyn's Kitchen and their wonderful staff for always coming through with wonderful food and excellent service when I need them. xxC

We opted for the large 10-person Thanksgiving feast this year, and we were absolutely thrilled with the results. The food quality was truly exceptional, and the portion sizes were generous and satisfying. Everyone at the table really enjoyed the meal, and I was exceptionally impressed by the entire experience. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone considering a Thanksgiving feast.

I can’t say enough good things about EK and how much I love them. I have worked with them as a caterer on multiple occasions for private events. Ayala is the hardest worker and role model as a mom and business owner. It means a lot to support her business and her great team, while enjoying amazing food and Pudgies! Choose the EK team for food that is like a big hug. 🥰

Everything was very good. Very well packed I liked that a lot. I could have used a little more turkey but that’s just me overall good bang for my buck.

We had Evelyn's Kitchen cater our Thanksgiving feast and everything was delicious! The sweet potatoes were out of this world and the whole family kept saying how great everything was. Ayala delivered everything with easy to follow instructions the night before. It was perfect. Highly recommend!

I rated them on GrubHub but I needed to do it here so everyone knows this place is so GOOD! The food is always delicious. I only do delivery and it's on point. Every version of their salmon is delicious, GET IT NOW! their mashed potatoes is the best mashed potatoes I have ever had in my life and I had come to the point on giving up on mashed potatoes. I forgot my fish came with a sauce, they remembered and they brought to me anyways. Two containers! From the young man answering the phones to the chef in the kitchen, KUDOS! AMAZING. NEVER LEAVE EL BARRIO PLEASE 🥺

Evelyn’s Kitchen is fantastic. The food is superb ( I had the cornbread stuffing and short ribs). The customer service and attention to detail is unbelievable. This was my first time trying Evelyn’s Kitchen and I will be a recurring customer.

The Thanksgiving menu at Evelyn's Kitchen (EK) is, by far, the finest Thanksgiving one can choose! Everything tastes homemade and is made with the utmost care. For almost 10 years, we have repeatedly had EK for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The turkey is juicy and flavor is delicious; the cornbread stuffing is...chef's kiss; the sweet potato souffle is practically like eating a savory dessert; the brussels sprouts balance the bitterness of the green with the sweetness of honey. On top of that, we always have the bbq short rib because EVERYONE loves that unexpected add. Desserts are always an added treat and we always opt for the pecan pie bars. The meal is packaged is re-heatable containers for the oven and in insulated bags that travel well. Order it now, thank me later. You're welcome.

Lemon pepper wings and the pudgies are incredible! The Mac and cheese never misses in my experience. I’ve ordered a lot online and have been here in person plenty of times and it’s been a go to for me anytime I’m visiting in Harlem I have to grab something from Evelyn’s Kitchen. It’s probably my favorite food spot on the east side. Definitely worth checking out.
