As I’m visiting great friends in Harlem, we ordered from Flor de Broadway. My Cubano sandwich was bussin’ respectfully and the mofongo; was respectfully off the charts. I’m straight for the day. Thank you Flor de Broadway! Amazing way to start my day.

The purpose of this review is not to hate or harm this restaurant in any way, shape, or form. That being said, I hope you take this review as an informative review. Atmosphere: Spacious, bright, and clean for the most part. It is also a bit noisy, but I understand that they have to communicate in some way. Service: I think service can vary depending on who takes your order. There are some employees that are more friendly and others who just keep it simple. Food: I ordered the Ball Plantain with Chicken, which does not really look like a ball. It looks more like a cylinder shape, but that's not an issue. This dish was all about chicken. The Plantain Ball stuffed with chicken, popcorn chicken, salad, and a chicken flavor sauce/soup for the ball. Although there was a lot of chicken, I liked the flavors. Price: In my honest opinion, I think prices are fair.

The lady behind the counter was super nice and gave excellent recommendations. We ordered the ribs and roasted pork, and both tasted delicious. The place could do with some more vegetables as a side, but that's a minor concern. It's a popular spot for good reason.

This is a little neighborhood eatery well known for its low prices and delicious Spanish food. However, don't expect a restaurant style service with a waiter or waitress catering to your every need. It's basically, come in, reach to one of the workers behind the counter, and if you need to, shout it out, because they don't write down the order.

I did uber eats with the ham and cheese sandwich and it doesn’t look like the photo. I’m happy I got a side because it was not enough and it is definitely less meat.

I ordered Yuca fries and they were awful and distasteful. They were definitely processed and not authentic. This is not what Yuca fries are supposed to be. I also request sauce, and did not get any, terrible.

i ordered on uber eats and the charged $21 for one pork chop with rice! definitely not worth the price!!! beware!

It might just be personal preference or I came in a bad day but everything was super salty and my lemonade almost gave me diabetes. I ate half the food because my liver started hurting from too much salt and gave the rest to a hobo. I can’t believe I spend almost 50$ here. Next time I want dominican food I think I’ll just go to those pizza places that have DR food on the side cause this food is almost a health hazard or maybe it was just the cook who put too much of everything, I really dont know. I’ve tried Mofongo del valle and the food is actually seasoned properly there. I did like that the ingredients were fresh and the person next to me ordered a salmon which looked really nice and tasty, the pictures from other reviews look nice too and I wished I had ordered that. Little tip I have is that if you order black rice with red beans, you have to specifically tell them a side of beans otherwise they will just give you black rice and charge you extra for the side. The beans on the black rice needed to be boiled for longer, they were starchy on the middle. I hope to come back when a better cook is there because this place has potential and Id like to see it do better so I can stop going to Chipotle across the street

The food was amazing I will not take that away from them. But to scam people on the lunch is crazy, that is the reason for the one star! I ordered a lunch that indicated that it comes with rice, beans and a salad with A CHOICE of plantains. I received a plate with a piece of pernil and 4 pieces of maduros. That was not what was advertised. I call the restaurant abd they kept hanging up and disregarding my concerns. No good customer service. Never again!

Completely Unacceptable Service & Zero Accountability This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had with any restaurant. I placed an order and waited two hours, only for it to be cancelled after the entire wait. No call, no update, no explanation just a cancellation after wasting my time. When I contacted the restaurant, the staff member was rude, dismissive, and offered absolutely no solution or accountability. The attitude alone was shocking, but the lack of professionalism was even worse. I’ve already filed a detailed complaint with the delivery platform and will be forwarding this issue to their corporate/ownership as well. Customers deserve better than this level of disrespect. I strongly recommend management reach out to me directly, because this situation needs to be addressed — and I’m fully prepared to take it further if necessary through the proper channels. Do not order online to this place I swear to God I wish I gave them 0 stars

I ordered a steak Cuban sandwich with rice, beans, plantains, and fries, but the whole meal was a huge disappointment. The sides were soggy, the rice had no flavor, and the sandwich wasn’t even what I ordered it came with ham, some other kind of meat (maybe turkey or chicken), and jalapeños. The meat was unseasoned and honestly disgusting. When I called to fix the issue, the restaurant denied my order and claimed they couldn’t find my receipt. Terrible food and even worse customer service.

As a child my family came here to buy the famous Cuban sandwich. Till this day I still buy them. However, today I ordered two Cuban sandwiches and they were the worst sandwiches I ever had. A man by the name of Luis (who prepared the sandwich’s) said to me this is how a lot people like it so he assumed that I like it too. Two burnt sandwiches. On top of that he wrapped it up in aluminum foil causing the sandwich to be soggy. Now, I would like to hear anyone out there who can tell me if you would eat this?
