This place is amazing! The food is hella fresh! The bartenders and servers keep things movin and are fast, friendly and most importantly keep those drinks flowin and food coming out while you are waiting for your flight.

Wow. What a surprise to find this in an airport. Very good. Ricardo, our server, is great, so ask for him - he built a six-top for us. Very attentive. The food is really good. The Guacamole is super good. Nachos will feed 2-3 people. Tacos are single wrap corn tortilla with very good meats. Our daughter got the veggie mushroom taco and it is really good. Our son got the burrito and it is huge. And the churros! Have dessert! Overall, this was a great experience during our layover and we're all filled... even took some for dinner on the next flight. Definitely worth checking it out.

The best nachos and margarita I’ve ever had in my life . The food was fresh , authentic and tasty ! The customer service rivaled the food. Humberto Garcia was the epitome of great customer service ! Hands down a must , you won’t regret it. I finished every single bite . It was way to delicious to put the fork down . I’m actually sad I didn’t order any food to go so I can some more the next day .

Ok so I needed tacos. I got the birria tacos and they were the bomb. Some of the best I have ever had 10/10. Didn’t expect that in an airport.

STOP! This is better than most of what I find outside the airport! The burritos are large, filling and tasty and the plantains are delicious and plump. Service was fast and very friendly - they really care. What a treat! I’d rather eat here than in the city when I come off a flight.

Nachos are very very good. The portions are great and it tastes very good and fresh. Hassan the cook is also very fast in the kitchen I got my food within 5minutes. Must try.

Located next to Gate 42 at La Guardia. They had breakfast tacos. Only one taco for breakfast—scrambled eggs with pico, salsa (green), and Mexican cheese. While this is okay, it would be great to have some more choices. Now, the tacos are $15.99 (EACH), which is a terrible price, but that's the airport and NYC for you. I was also surprised to see the "employee retention" percentage added to the check. I asked to have it removed, or I wouldn't tip. They did. I probably wouldn't eat here again, but I was starving, it was 5 am, and I had a long flight ahead. Oh, well.

Gustavo was my bartender/server and he was great! Him being bilingual was able to speak to myself being Hispanic and my girlfriend being American, really good costumer service kept checking on us! Even tho it was really busy he managed to take care of everyone coming in! Great food and drinks definitely recommend, and if you do come Gustavo will give you a great experience.

Refreshing to see a good restaurant and bar in an airport that doesn’t want to exploit you with overpriced food or drinks. I arrived to the gate early and this cute place was right next to gate 42 in Terminal B. I sat at the bar and was welcomed. Service was excellent and prices were good. An added plus was it was right next to the gate so I could hear them announce boarding.

Very good! Quick and easy. Only waited about 5 minutes for a burrito and a burrito bowl. Service was very friendly. Food was very good. Just a little pricy, but everything is nowadays.

Very fast service if you order online and the Burrito is hefty! I got carne asada $17 but all airport food is expensive this was honestly way better than any other airport food I have gotten before. The vibe is nice I wish I had time to sit and get a beer with my food because the Mexican music was on point! Reminded me of home!

First walking up to the restaurant I was welcomed by Gustavo offering the first available seat. Made one of the best Mojito's I have had in quite sometime. Pleasant conversation, recommend good food and was enjoyable time and would definitely come back.

Millie is by far my new favorite person and waitress. My BFF where flying home and had been to two prior restaurants where no one would either seat us or wait on us and found our way here. Her service was fantastic, the food fabulous and the conversation amazing. I would come back just to hang out with her over the Sangria and stores of her Mom. Love this place

We visit this location at the LGA airport whenever we fly through. Always great service, very friendly staff, and lively atmosphere. Sitting at the bar is fun and great people watching while waiting for your food. The portions are generous, great selection on the menu, and the offerings are spiced/seasoned well. Others mention it’s overpriced, but it’s an airport joint so of course it’s overpriced- every place at an airport is! But for the portion size (drinks and food), the prices here are fair. Love the staff here!!

I had the most wonderful experience at LaChula’s waiting for my flight. The bar tender Millie was so friendly and provided excellent service. She even told me stories about her grandchildren. It was such a nice experience until this man started causing trouble out of nowhere. He was loud and obnoxious, accusing her of being rude, when all shs did was ask him if he needed anything else. I was worried this man might assault her, I don't understand why he was upset, I saw the entire interaction. Why did management allow him to behave that nasty with the staff? Otherwise 5 stars and anytime I fly at laguardia that's my spot!

I had birria tacos from here and they were amazing, the beef was tender and rich, and the overall flavour of the taco was so good that I was surprised it came from a restaurant at an airport. Service was a 10/10, I had the pleasure of being served by Millie and she was so sweet, friendly, and attentive.

I had a decent experience overall, but the food itself left much to be desired. While the service was absolutely a 10 out of 10—attentive, professional, and friendly—the food didn’t quite live up to the rest of the experience. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the ambiance was pleasant, but unfortunately, the food quality was not the greatest. Some dishes lacked flavor, and the portions didn’t justify the price. It felt highly overpriced for what was served. I expected more considering the cost. It’s a shame because everything else—from the cleanliness to the staff—was truly impressive. If the kitchen stepped up the quality and flavor of the food, this place could easily be a top recommendation. For now, I’d come back for the drinks or atmosphere, but not necessarily for the food.

LA Chula by Chef Julian Medina. IL Viaggio Italian Kitchen Great place to sit down watch games or tv and have a meal and a drink. This was dinner after a six hour delay. Right there at B Concourse next to gate 42. Enjoyed the chicken soft shell authentic tacos and ellote 🌽 which were both awesome and a margarita. Great staff highly recommend. Right there at the gates, so very convenient if you’re flying out of that concourse.

I was pretty surprised how amazing tacos were at this places as the airport restaurants are disappointing most of the times. their classic margarita was also very very good. I got shrimp tacos but I also had a chicken tacos before and now every time we fly from LGA we alway look for La Chula so we can enjoy our tacos with margarita. Service was very nice too and they play good music which gives a nice Mexican vibe.

Millie will deliver you crazy strong Paloma and Mezcalita de Pina margaritas with the quickness. Best tunes, and the Coctel de Camaron (shrimp ceviche) comes with gobs of freshly fried chips and pairs quite well with pre-flight libations. AND CHURROS!!!!!!

I'm going to give it a 4 stars with the strict understanding that I'm rating airport food. Got the nachos and while they won't be putting my local pub out of business, they were decent, affordable and there were more than enough for my lunch. Not a lot more to say. The service was OK. Pleasant but not enthusiastic. But then ... I probably wouldn't be either and they simply looked a bit tired ... not unpleasant.

I was on a layover at LaGuardia Airport and stopped for lunch at this restaurant. Service was very good and fast. I ordered a shrimp burrito and it came out in 5 minutes. It was tasty and had a kick to it which I liked. The place serves wine and beer also. I was impressed by how clean it looked. They also have takeout. It's a bit expensive but what isn't at the airport. Check it out.

The hostess Anna was extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. She gave me a sample of the vegetarian taco filling. Mushroom and corn and it was delicious. The service was fast, tables were clean and the staff was also friendly. I will definitely be stopping by here again if I’m at the terminal.

I'm surprised this place gets such good reviews. It was mediocre at best. The carnitas were super fatty and the burrito bowl felt like it was from a cafeteria instead of a Mexican restaurant. Portions were very small, too.

The service for take out is really poorly! She was not trying at all. One customer was waiting for her while she was on her phone! She looked bored and so not wanted to be there! Food was ok (Burrito with pollo), full of rice and not really warm.

My suggestion is this place needs more advertising from the entrance because I had to seat in a Italian restaurant to wait THE GATES AROUND 40 TO 58...(while jetblue changed my trip 3 times 🤬🤬) if I know there's a Mexican place welcome me with a Margarita of course I wouldn't doubt it...because Mexican restaurants always good and cheaper than Italian "USUALLY". Atmosphere looks good. Next time.

Okay, so my expectations were pretty non-existent because...it's airport food. I read the other reviews and I wasn't looking forward to this meal at all. But there weren't any other options (I hate Shake Shack), my plane was delayed, and I was hungry. I ordered the veggie nachos and the churros. Honestly, they weren't bad. I expected a lot worse. The serving of nachos was very generous and the churros, while kind of soggy and skinny, were edible. I'm not mad at this meal (but I probably would be if this wasn't the airport). It was pricey, however. I paid over $20.

Do not buy the chef Medina margarita. It’s supposed to have a splash of orange juice, but it is almost 90% orange juice and way too sweet. The cost is $23.99 and it is really not even tasting like a margarita

The food and portions were satisfying. However, I was disappointed with the service I received. Despite the fact that the staff members were capable of speaking Spanish, I was taken aback by their negative reaction when I conversed with them in the same language. Their behavior towards me was not only unkind, but also unprofessional, which left a sour taste in my mouth. It is disheartening when a restaurant fails to provide excellent service to its customers, especially when language barriers should not be an issue

I'm going to say that the place was clean, had Latin music that felt like if I was away in vacation, but the food was the only thing I'm going to talk about. I ordered tacos and when you order it comes with two. The tacos were small and looked so sad in the amount of chicken and lettuce what they add to it with sauce on the side. For $17.93 not including tip, it isn't worth it, with what is served. They need to do better in what a taco looks like. That was for a child to eat and I'm not kidding when I say this. They need to step up in what they add on the taco 🌮.

The steak tacos not a horrible value for 12 bucks for 2. Burrito bowl plus two tacos plus 1 beer is 47 before tip. Food could be better but I've had worse. I had higger expectations given Google reviews. Service was solid given crowd. I think their carbonator wasn't working properly.

Google Maps says “temporarily closed” which isn’t inaccurate. The bar is open but after sitting there for five minutes and the bartenders being more interested in washing glasses and talking to each other, I got up and left. Losers.

Let me start by saying the food is good, so it's unfortunate my overall experience was not. The music was soooo loud, truly gave me a headache and I'm not old or anything. But mainly the bartender/ server made the experience two stars for me for the following reasons: 1. Truly was not pleasant- did not greet you when you sat, did not give you an opportunity to sit/ settle in with your bags (it's an airport, people have bags!!) before asking what you want to drink Similarly, didn't even get a minute to look at the menu. They brought the drink over and instantly asked what I want to order. 2. Didn't ask if I wanted a refill on my drink the entire time Or if I needed anything at all, let alone my eye contact for me to ask for it. 3. Brought my bill over without asking if I was even ready for it and I had half my food left to eat still. I get it, if you are trying to turn over barstools but there were plenty of empty stools. 4. Came over three separate times, minutes apart, to open the folder with the bill in it to see if I paid. Meanwhile I'm still eating, my hands are not clean, and not once did I ask for my bill yet. Don't rush people while they are eating! It's so rude.

Extremely costly food and drinks. Did not toast or cook the corn tortillas which the tacos were comprised of, which should tell you everything you need to know about the food. Service was attentive and friendly.

Who ever working in the kitchen most likely don't like what they do, or don't know how burger and fries need to be prepared. Bun and fries where full of oil. Salad vegetables where cut ,most likely, many hours ahead of plating. Grilled bread was covered with vegetable oil instead of olive oil. My suggestion avoid this place, especially when the total for 3 dishes, tea and tips crossed $90USD. Vending machine would be a better choice.

By far the worst service ever. The staff ignores you, they don't write down orders then get it wrong. I'm glad I asked for a reprint of my receipt because they tried to charge me double. My Check went from almost 40. To 6.95. Theifs I will say. Avoid at all costs or you'll miss your flight.

About the quality of food I’d expect at a lemonade stand- raw shredded cheese, canned beans, small portions. Sad experience. Should have gotten fast food. If you’re debating at the airport go anywhere else.

first the waitress told my roommate and i that we could only order breakfast food so we ordered breakfast… then she immediately went to another customer and allowed them to order regular menu items. then she forced us to pay right after we ordered and stood over me while i tipped to make sure i tipped but when other people ordered they paid after they ate… also when we came in we ordered drinks first and when we tried to order food she gave us a dirty look and tried to rush the menu as if she didnt want us to eat, but when other guests came she offered them both food and drinks right away.

Waited to be serviced as two of the woman workers just stood their chatting blatantly ignored me. Not a hello, once second, please wait a moment, please use the online services. As I’m watching other airport workers come over and be serviced. The manager I’m assuming came over an acknowledged me. The food was not worth the price. The nachos weren’t made with love or full. It was just chips and guacamole basically. That was not supreme at all waste of money.

Bad customer service, bad food. We were told by the host just to find a seat and someone will take our orders. We were waiting for a while and were ready to leave when out of the blue someone from the bar took our orders. I ordered two tacos (chicken and carnitas), a side of rice and beans as well as bottled water. When food came, meat on both tacos were very dry, no rice and beans or bottled water. We can’t complain since the person who delivered the food just went away so fast. I had to go to Hudson store nearby to get my drink. I am easy to please but my experience here was terrible. Should we expect eateries in the airport to be this way?

I ordered plátanos and they were terrible they were precooked and tasted horrible how can you mess up something so simple to make glad i only ordered that , and the bartender/ waiter did not ask if i wanted to order anything after standing there for 10 minutes i politely asked for a menu and i had to ask for my receipt i would not order again maybe there drinks are good but it’s a no never again for me

I had the steak burrito for over 20$. Around 22$. It was not worth it at all, the food did not taste fresh at all and after I ate it. I've been having stomach issues for 2 days now. I got food poisoning and diarrhea most likely from the bad quality.

My order came out wrong and a staff member offered horrible customer service. The guy literally said “I don’t know what you want me to do. I didn’t take the order…it’s not my fault.” This was a to-go order and the person who made that comment is the one who directed me to submit my order online through the portal. Even after showing him my order confirmation with a description of the order, he still acted as if he didn’t know how to help. I had to be persistent to ensure my order was remade the correct way. If I had not, he would have left me with the incorrect order. I ended up speaking with the manager briefly and she was helpful.

Asada tacos are not steak are shredded beef. Lady at front argued and stated it was steak. Rip off.

They charged my credit card the right amount, I checked my phone for the transaction before leaving. Then they adjusted it to an outrageous number (+44$ to the correct amount) later. Their business takes advantages of being near the gates. However, the food is so so; with similar prices, the portions are smaller than ones from many other restaurants in the airport. Stay away from this if you are not in rush to gates, there are many better restaurants in the main hall (and other places in LGA airport). If you purchase from them, please keep the receipt to prevent their thieving. P/s: I did try to contact them to ask them to adjust the transaction, in case they made mistake, but they DID NOT response.

Ordered the carne asada but it was not carne asada. It was pulled pork. Told the waiter this and he was firm it was “marinated in beer” which is why the meat had that texture. He replaced it with shrimp tacos and those were underwhelming as well. Do not recommend this place at all.

Today while waiting for my flight back to Los Angeles I went to this establishment and TRIED to order 2 tacos One chicken one carne asada with meat and cheese ONLY. the girl at the register said you want 2 orders meaning 4 tacos, I said no I want the 2 tacos! I asked Can I get one chicken and one carne asada with cheese only she finally rang up my order totaling $17 and some change because I also ordered a coke, I had to use my card apparently it’s cashless. I stood over to the side and she asked for my name and said they would call my name when it’s ready! Well 14 minutes go by so I get up and go back over to see why my order is taking so long! I forgot to mention I’m also handicap! When I get to the counter she’s helping someone I look back to where the cook is and it looks like he’s on his phone so I look in the counter next to him and I see a bowl that looks like it could be my food, I say out loud how long does it take to make 2 cheese tacos and one of the boys that also works at that place said well you are not the only one That ordered tacos in an extremely condisending time! I said I who are you talking to, I didn’t ask who else is waiting, I said that’s probably my food on that counter and while He’s continuing To be rude the girl that took my order goes to the area that the bowl of food was and brings it to the counter and puts it in a bag and tells me it’s ready, I looked at the boy and said I knew it was my food just sitting there. Well I looked in the bag and all you could see was onions and cilantro and NOT one drop of cheese, I said I asked for cheese only she said you asked that when you ordered the 4 tacos, I said I never ordered 4 I asked for 2 and I asked for cheese Only she’s rolling her eyes and laughing and said oh well I said what do you mean oh week I said I need you to correct this order that I already paid for, at this time my flight is ready to board, I need to east to take my medication and my daughter walks to the counter next to me because from where she was she could see there was a situation, she told her either fix my order or give us a refund because now it’s time to board and tells her her customer service is horrible, now she takes my order to the cook and she literally gave my daughter the middle finger my daughter is extremely upset about that and Her and the girl Margarita are going back and forth at each other The cook asked me to come and explain, I’m explaining to him while she’s still rolling her eyes, laughing and waving me off! Now he offers to remake it, I said I don’t have another 15 minutes to wait my plane is boarding now just give me a refund because at this point I would never patronize a place that treated me so rudely! The cook goes to the register and is trying to give me my refund meanwhile my daughter and Margarita the cashier are still going back and forth, My Daughter said what’s your mane and she covered her badge, my daughter took out her phone and began to do exactly as everyone else in this day and age and record, I said that’s right Record because she’s gonna go viral, then the girl threw an entire glass of water on my daughter who was STILL recording her and recorded her throwing the water, my daughter put her phone in her pocket and Her and the girl started fighting, breaking wine bottles and all! They were separated the security came barely took our statement and got our identification literally our entire plane had already boarded so we had to rush to make our flight which it’s hard for me to rush considering I’m in a Ankle Boot and on a knee stroller! My daughter has NEVER had a fight in her life, she was embarrassed getting water thrown on her in public in the Airport. that girl was the epitome of rude and poor customer service a horrible attitude and throwing water at my Daughter was also an assault! I will be seeking legal counseling due to this!

my flight was delayed for four hours, i had already bought from them, i pulled an all nighter, and they yelled and woke me up because i was sitting in their seat asking me to order more. horrific establishment. avoid at all costs.

Service was almost non-existent. Really disappointed with the food. Super brown lettuce, literal whole lime in the middle of a quesadilla for some reason and less chicken than something from Taco Bell. Should have gone to Shake Shack.

We ordered 3 michaladas from La Chula. The active online menu for LaGuardia said they are 13.99 and then after ordering them it’s said they are 22.99. The managers told me that it was the companies problem that they haven’t updated it and that it was not their problem and they weren’t going to fix it. I asked the name of the manager and she told me to take a picture and told me that I would be begging for more drinks the following day. The manager initials RN… she also asked if I wanted her SS card for my complaint as well. She started calling me “honey” and “oh sweety” to be extra rude. I was told that next time I should make sure that the prices for the items match the menu. I have been in the serving industry for years and this was beyond anything I have ever experienced. The bartender was AMAZING though.

Ordered the nachos with chicken- the chips were burnt and had no salt or flavor, and the rest of the toppings were piled on the middle so only the few chips at the top had anything on them. The chicken was hard and tasted like microwaved frozen chicken. The altitude chardonnay was good. I finished my wine and left to find some other food, when they came to get payment from my husband he left a $5 tip and they forced him to instead do the minimum tip amount of $15.

First...the chips are fantastic. If you eat anything here, just get those. The guac that came with them was reminiscent of pre-packaged grocery store guacamole. The tacos were insanely greasy, and not in a good way. The meet was more BBQ than Mexican. It even had a sweet bbq-like sauce on them. Carnitas were like pulled pork. Carne Asada like...I don't know. Crock pot steak cubes?? Nothing felt very "Mexican". Skip this place and just eat and Shake Shack like I should have done (and the La Chula employees were themselves doing)

I politely asked for a receipt from both of these ladies here, they were rude and even began to curse . Refused to reprint my receipt and displayed very rude and obnoxious attitude and behavior towards me.

After waiting for over 10 minutes without anyone saying anything, tried to politely ask if i should wait cause i have a flight to catch. Server was immediatly hostile and when he gave me the food was even aggressive. Didnt matter that i tipped him in advance. Shame. Edit: taco is actually delicious but at 18+ for 2, come on...thats a lot even for airport food.

22 dollar burrito was not good and had a chemical taste don’t know if it was the chicken or burrito. Tired of companies taking advantage of people and having high prices while missing the fundamental basics

Avoid this place like the plague. There's a lady that works there that is pure mad at life. She's rude, her fellow coworkers seem very uncomfortable around her and puts the vibe of the whole place pretty down. She insisted that I give her a tip and called me names. Her manager was having a hard time asking her to calm down. Been here several times and I'm done giving them my money. Will gladly go where I'm not yelled at.

This was one of the worst airport dining experiences I’ve had. There was no seating available, which made it uncomfortable from the start. They also didn’t have water available, which is ridiculous considering it’s a basic necessity, especially in an airport. The menu was extremely limited, and when the food finally came, the portion size was tiny for the price. I understand airport food usually costs more, but in this case the quality didn’t even come close to matching the cost. On top of that, the service was terrible—unhelpful and inattentive. Overall, a complete waste of money. I would strongly recommend avoiding this spot and finding a better option elsewhere in the terminal.

The worst chips and salsa I’ve ever had in my life. The chips are very hard. What is supposed to be salsa is really just some sort of marinara sauce with a bunch of pepper in it. Add a $4.55 Coca-Cola and The meal becomes a $15 snack. And people just say, it’s airport prices, as if that excuses it. And if you don’t leave a tip for a $4.55 Coca-Cola, the clerk’s smile fades and the service becomes slow. Do not recommend but you are a hostage here so you’ll probably buy it.
