I'm from Canada, and have been to NYC around 10 times in the past 10 years. I've eaten at dozens of pizza places, but this one is by far my favorite

Such a great place to get a warm slice of pizza with a friendly staff there to welcome you.

Delicious! Served hot and crispy. I had a slice of veggies pizza. It had tons of onions, peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, and broccoli. All fresh and amazing flavor. 10/10 recommend.

My husband and I visited NY recently, we decided to go to the store and for a little walk it’s was around 9:30 pm we passed by this place and decided to get a piece “since the also sell just single pieces as well” it was soo good ! El personal muy amable y hablan inglés y español …

Their burgers are my usual go to and I love that I can either go there coz it's close to work or order in on the GrubHub app.The fries and salads are the other items I order. So it's either burger & fries or avocado salad & fries.

Grabbed a few different slices and wings to go on a Thursday night (around 8 pm) while on vacation, everything was very good. The staff were friendly, I would stop in here again.

Grandson loves this pizza. Been NYC 4 days now and he's eaten there at least 8 times already. The owner know him by name.

This is by far one of the very BEST pizza restaurants I’ve been to in NYC. Pizza was fresh and delicious. Employees were very friendly and inviting. Perfect little place right around the corner from Millennium Hilton UN Plaza. I will definitely be back on my next visit.

Very small corner pizzeria with only a couple of small tables. Had a wonderful thin crust NY style pizza. Several on display to choose from.

The pizza was very good, nit the very best but very good. The best NY style pizza is in California, actually let me rephrase that sentence, the best New York style pizza that I have ever found is in Newport Beach California had a place called Pizza Pete’s. While we were sitting here eating pizza my son even said to me this is almost as good as Pizza Pete’s. Not only was the pizza good but the service was also pretty good, especially compared to some of the other pizza places we visited while we were in the city. For the record we went to three different pizza places and this was the best. I have seen this location so that when I come back I will make sure to eat here again.

I ordered food for pick up. The chicken roll, garlic knots, and a salad with grilled chicken. Everything was good. When I got there I had to wait about 5 minutes for my food and the guys were so nice. Ate everything before taking photos.

I only visited Manhattan for a short time. But the Supreme slices are so good, I'm going to order a whole pie and ask them to ship it out of state. Best I've had, but I'm a novice. still made that big of an impression on me. FedEx it! :)

My family and I were vacationing in New York. We were hungry, so we stopped in La Trattoria and I’m glad we did! The food was delicious, fresh and hot! I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and wasn’t disappointed! It was not bland, but flavorful. I can tell the sauce was homemade! They were also so nice. This was definitely our place to go to when we were hungry!

Gave it 5 stars so that Owner can see this. Really Should be 1 star, because of the price and service. Prices are Ridiculously high. The new place across the street is way better priced on the same thing you offer. Your service (workers) needed to be trained better, when you are around, they work differently. You added that "Sweet refrigerator" and took out tables ( it's tight already) makes it feel unwelcomed.

Joe's on Carmine is supposed to be the best, but I thought this place was right up there! I'm not an expert on NYC pizza (but I like pizza!). I had the NY style and the Sicilian. Both great. And the take a credit card - unlike Joe's.

I can honestly say that the pizza here is one of the BEST NY Style pizza on the Eastside in Midtown. It is a Gem hidden in a small corner on 2nd Ave. Do not got to any other pizza place if you want New York Flavor, Look, & Taste. Most people who are not from NY & do not know that the oil that drips out of the pizza is the norm. You are welcomed when you walk in and you have your choice of many select pizza’s. They have a few tables if you want to dine in. The price you cannot beat for the quality of pizza. Thank you guys! Bravo!

Was looking for somewhere to eat and found here. Ordered the eggplant parmigiana, and was surprised by the nice large piping hot serve. It was great with a nice penny pasta base. Recommended.

It's a medium-sized restaurant. The staff are very nice and welcoming. I come here for my lunch time most of the time. They have lots of pizza options. there pizza is very delicious and a great size. I love coming here. I always feel welcome. The restaurant is always nice and neat. Very clean. The restaurant is warm inside so you can sit there and eat. They have seating available. They work in a fast pace it gets packed alot of times. It's kid friendly. You can come for a pizza date night or with your family. Even just alone to grab pizza. I always get the meat lover slice very juicy and good. I love it. I recommend this pizza to everyone.

The Pizza Pie was great! First Night in NYC and it was off to a good start with this place! The guy running the joint was great! Treated everyone with respect and joked as they came in the door.

Nice pizzas and nice ambient to eat in. Staff can be perkier though. Overall, some of the best Pizzas I had in New York.

There are much better slices in the city, but this place is less than a block away from me, so I come in a decent amount. I don’t love the plain slice, but the toppings slices are pretty good. The crust’s too soft/soggy for me. I’m giving it four stars because, even though the food is a small step above mediocre, they’re always fast and the guys that work there are really nice people.

I ordered from this place a couple of times. The pizza is fine however by New York standards not the top notch. Zucchini sticks and fried calamari were a disappointment, not very tasty. I hope this place will get their stuff together.

Wasn't the best but was good for a quick slice. I think the pie was sitting a little to long.. Wasn't hot when they took it out either. It's also a little over priced. The place was small and there is no room to sit down and eat a slice of pizza. The food on the display also looked like its been there all day amd did not look appetizing at all..

I was there 1 Oct 2018 , they had some table and chairs to sit and eat.Their kitchen was really clean.fast service and delicious pizza.We had a slice of mushroom pizza and slice of broccoli pizza ,Both was really good with thin crust.We also had spinach roll its not perfect but its good and full of spinach and very fresh with too much cheese.

I work in the area and occasionally stop in for a slice. Not my favorite pizza place. Often tastes several days old and ingredients are low quality. Also significantly overpriced

I stopped by for a couple of slices and found the pizza tasteless. I ordered sausage and they weren't pieces, it resembled shavings and I am not sure there was any cheese, the sauce was akin to Ragu. Service was satisfactory and no issues with the atmosphere, but if you are looking for good pizza, I would probably go elsewhere.

Their pizza is so good, but the prices are too high! I can’t afford to go here for pizza anymore, it’s too expensive. Two slices - a buffalo chicken slice and a grandma cost me $13!! Disappointed because they make good food, but I am going to have to find somewhere else nearby.

I regularly get slices from this place. They’re more convenient than good. Expensive for the quality, but fine and not the worst in the neighborhood. But one evening I decided to order a calzone, via Seamless. I assumed they would make it fresh, as they would if you were ordering a whole pizza. But noooo. Instead, they took an existing cheese calzone that had been sitting around all day, cut it open, threw in a few bits of spinach and sausage, and heated it on the grill!!! It was closer to a quesadilla than a calzone. Too nasty to eat; I threw most of it out. And I’m the queen of leftovers! The next day I stopped by to complain. They guy wasn’t even defensive; just said that’s what they do and too bad if I don’t like it that way; they don’t make them fresh to order. So I could be wrong about the pizza too; they might just take a cheese pizza, throw some toppings on and reheat it…

Have only had the horrible subs in here. Definitely avoid the subs. Can't comment on pizza. The ingredients used are definitely sub par.

Typical pizza joint setup. Nit a great selection of pizzas ready. Got the order wrong and wouldn't fix the mistake. Pizza was extra greasy. Not a great experience. There are better cheaper pizza options nearby

Pizza is medicore nothing to blame but if you guys find a money on the floor please don’t put in your pocket… you need to educate workers to be humble… I really disappointed on my old hard working amigo who took the money and disappeared until I ask camera footage… I gave him $20 when he returned my money asking for 30minutes not because he did something nice… because he would understand that when he return the money in first place he would get awarded in many way….

Beware of overcharging - the cashier seems to be taking advantage of your lack of attention to the billing screen and checks you out super quickly. He adds items that you didn’t get to jack up the charge and since you don’t get a receipt after, you will miss it and only notice when you check your transactions. It has happened to me a few times but I was able to catch what he was doing this time and get the extra items taken off. Pizza is good enough but there are plenty of other shops around without the deceit

I paid $15 for a spinach and ricotta slice and a bbq chicken slice. While the bones of the slices were solid, the toppings were disappointing. The spinach was undercooked and soggy. While the chicken itself was tasty and plentiful, the sauce was too sweet and tasted as if it were from a cheap tub. I recommend this place if you like to spend a lot of money for two slices.

I ordered fried calamari and found that it was frozen calamari it taste awful just nasty horrible .

Very disappointed at the service received here from the guy who works the kitchen. Very rude to me and some other customers during Lunch time. Closing the kitchen and not being very professional about it. Sadly been coming here for years for lunch and other one down 4 blocks that is owned by same owner for dinner. Will not be coming to neither. My co-workers and neighbors feel the same about this.

My wife and I were in here last Friday night, and on the way out one of the staff was a next level jerk. This was after I left a 20% too. It was pretty upsetting. Othere staff was cool and nice, and I think they might have been surprised too.

I was in there last Friday night and one of the staff was obscenely rude to my husband. He was pretty upswt, hence the post. I feel bad for his fellow workers who were very nice, I imagine he's rude to them too.

Used to be a good stop for a hero. Ordered 2 today (Healthy Tuna & Italian). Both used to be good. Now the tuna is inedible and the Italian meh. Something changed and not for the better.

Please don’t eat a spinach roll from here it’s not good. I bought a spinach roll and it was filled with uncooked spinach not even boiled and no cheese at all then I asked the guy working on the counter he gave me very nasty looks and told me that’s what it is . Exactly after one hour eating that roll my stomach got so upset.

Pathetic experience at this outlet!! The person at the counter was extremely rude and arrogant. While we were waiting at the counter to order, he kept taking in people behind us and ignored us completely. He just took one pizza slice order from us and didn’t even wait to hear the rest of the order and started taking in other folks. We literally had to shout to get his attention and take the rest of the order for us. After that too, he gave us 2 of the slices and the other 2 slices we had ordered, he gave to other folks. So we had to remind him again. And there was absolutely no courtesy or remorse!! Horrible experience. Will never go again! Not recommended at all

Just ordered from La Trattoria Pizza Cordon Bleu and this was a big mistake. Very dry Chicken cutlet on top ham and cheese Cordon Blue should be Chicken breast wrapped around a slice of ham and a slice of cheese, breaded and then pan-fried or baked
