Coco's is still opened for takeout and delivery during the pandemic. The workers are quick to prepare delicious drinks and ingredients are still fresh. However, if you go towards the end of the day, they may not have the ingredients to make your favorite drink for the rest of the day. As of now, they only allow 2 people in the store at the same time, so please respect their rules and read their signs. I'm glad to see that one of my favorite boba places is still opened and fulfilling my cravings for bubble tea! As for the drink I ordered, I got a Bubble Milk Tea with regular ice and regular sugar. However, I did not get bubbles as a topping because they ran out; I ordered at 7pm and they were closing at 8pm and it's understandable that they wouldn't make new bubbles. I replaced the bubbles with Grass Jelly, and that was just as delicious. Please support Coco!

My favorite restaurant in the world is North Abraxas in Tel Aviv. To find this sister Eyal Shani UWS restaurant was amazing. The food and drinks were delicious and carried the same vibe and friendly service I find in TLV. Whole Branzino, bluefin tuna with lettuce and challah and the hummus were standouts. Only critique was I wanted to order Israeli white wine but they don’t have it on their list - but still a 10/10 place

had such an amazing experience at malka nyc. the food was incredible, but the service really stood out. jose, our waiter, was beyond patient and kind with our very indecisive group that was trying to stay on a budget. he took so much time walking us through the menu, answering every question, and genuinely helping us figure out the best options for us — he even gave us close to 40 minutes to decide without ever making us feel rushed. at the end of the night, andrew checked in and made sure we were happy, which we absolutely were. loved the service, loved the food, loved the entire experience and can’t wait to come back.

So much fun. Went with my brother. Third time there. Always a treat. They accommodated our early arrival at the door and sat us a half hour earlier than our reservation which was great. We both had cocktails. I had the Mule and my brother had the margarita which were both awesome. I also had a glass of rose with dinner which was perfectly chilled and delicious. We got the green beans, the focaccia, the potato carpet, the pasta Bolognese, and the lamb shank. Each dish was delicious and filling. The crowd was upscale and relaxed. Highly recommend!!!💯👍❤️😎🥰

We have gone to Malka now about ten times since its opening and have only been increasingly pleased each time. The staff seems to love their jobs - they are warm and excited to talk about the food. The food is exceptional, exciting, fresh and fun. The vibe is so alive and never feels stuffy. The drinks are 💯 and the bartenders are always so friendly and fun. We also love the music with the blend of Israeli and American. Literally everyone working there is so friendly with each other and all those eating there. My husband and I have decided we really don’t need to go anywhere else. Each time, we have the most fun and the best food and it’s never exactly the same.

I didn’t think Malka could get any better but then brunch happened! Amazing!! My new favorite meal! The salatim were amazing. I can’t believe how good the mohammura and tomato and caper sauce were- I didn’t even think I liked capers until I tried and loved that sauce! Please never get rid of brunch!! Maya was an incredible server. She went above and beyond to make sure our every need was attended to. I saw her check in with parties waiting at the host stand while the host was seating other guests. When I inquired about a straw, she states you had no straws but offered to go next door and get one for me- a completely generous and gracious offer I declined but it showed how hospitable she is. This was the greatest food experience I’ve had in a long time! We got a bunch of different dishes to try and every single one of them tasted incredible. The dishes were unlike any food I’ve gotten at other restaurants - and so beyond good. The staff were super nice - shout out to Andrew, Chef David, Jesus, and Adi. The ambiance was fun and relaxed. For a kosher restaurant in Manhattan, the prices were great. I will definitely be back!!

We had a family gathering at Malka in the Upper West Side, and honestly—it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in NYC. Hats off to Eyal Shani for creating something truly special. On their website, they say “Malka wraps all our dreams, a meeting place between worlds.” After eating here, I’d add: you’re dining in heaven. Here’s what we tried—and loved: • Golden Focaccia – Warm, fluffy, and beautifully crispy around the edges, drizzled with olive oil and flaky salt. A perfect way to start the meal. • Pile of Green Beans – Lightly blistered, tender but with a bite, seasoned with spices and maybe a hint of lemon. Fresh and vibrant. • Thin Layers of Eggplant – Smoky, silky, and slightly sweet, layered like a savory pastry. Melts in your mouth. • Roasted Broccolini Tree – A whole broccolini, fire-roasted with a deep char and rich seasoning. Earthy, bold, and full of texture. • Roasted Potato Carpet – A stunning visual and taste experience—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, laid out like a golden mosaic. • Nostalgia of Old City Mezze – A mix of traditional spreads and small bites—each one balanced and nostalgic, with a Middle Eastern twist. • Green Garlic Pasta – Bright, herbaceous, and garlicky in the best way. The pasta was al dente, and the sauce was creamy without being heavy. • The Most Famous Malka Schnitzel – Giant, crispy, and full of flavor. The crust is perfection, and it comes with a creative twist that makes it more than just a schnitzel. • Lamb Chops – Tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked with a bold marinade. Rich and satisfying. • Cowboy Chop – A massive bone-in steak, deeply charred and seasoned to perfection. A carnivore’s dream. • Very Marbled Short Rib – My personal favorite. Fall-apart tender, deeply flavorful, and served with a luscious sauce that tied everything together. The service was warm, professional, and made the entire evening smooth and celebratory. If I had one suggestion—it would be to space the tables just a bit farther apart. The energy is lively, but a little more room would elevate the comfort even further. This place is bold, soulful, and full of heart. I’ll absolutely be back—and recommending it to everyone who loves food that tells a story.

I really like this place — it definitely lives up to the hype! The famous schnitzel is a must-try, totally worth it. The atmosphere is great, and the staff are super friendly. It actually feels a bit like home, which is pretty rare these days. Sometimes the upselling can be a little too much — you know what I mean. But then again, if they weren’t so good at what they do, maybe the place wouldn’t be as popular as it is. All in all, a great spot that I always look forward to coming back to.

The host with the most, Moria, welcomed us with such genuine kindness and made sure we felt right at home from the second we stepped in. Her energy set the tone for an unforgettable night. Our server Elijah was nothing short of exceptional. Not only did he recognize my friend and connect with us right away, but he also went above and beyond to make sure our entire dining experience was smooth, joyful, and delicious. As if the amazing food wasn’t enough, the kitchen surprised us with a complimentary pasta dish, dessert, and even shots of arak to say a lechaim. That gesture alone captured the spirit of Malka — generosity, celebration, and connection. From start to finish, this was more than just a meal. It was an experience, a gathering, a memory. The food? Outstanding. The people? Even better. This is officially Helwa Approved. If you’re looking for a kosher spot that delivers flavor, heart, and soul — Malka NYC is where it’s at.

The flavors are exquisite. Every dish we had was full of flavor, as were the cocktails. This was my first time back since it rebranded as Malka and got kosher supervision. I enjoyed the prior iteration as Miznon North, and the food is even more rich now. It was a Monday evening and it was packed and buzzing when we arrived and when we left. Dishes are shares. They come out somewhat haphazardly - our waiter warned us about this though nonetheless, that didn't always make sense. We had to ask for new plates and silverware for the fish dish after we had the meat dishes - that we had to ask in this price category was a bit surprising. Many of the dishes are served on a gold colored paperboard that causes the food to slide around a bit. One staffer was bringing our dessert on a paperboard and it slid off a bit on to the table and he repositioned it back on saying please excuse my hands (on our food). That suggested that hands on food from someone who also collected the used plates, silverware, and napkins is common. We didn't complain; just didn't eat that part of the dessert and wondered what it means about what we didn't see.

Was looking for Boba Tea/Slushy in Manhattan after 9pm on a Saturday and we found this as: 1. Open till 10pm 2. Decent people reviewed Parking was a breeze. It cost around $15 for a large Boba Tea and Slushy, which is a little expensive. Plus side was the service was super fast as we got our drinks quickly. The Slushy was decent but the Boba tea was a killer. I finished halfway before my ride home. Highly recommend getting that. We wanted to get a second Boba but apparently they had run out - which is a good sign. If you are looking for an amazing Boba tea after you visit the Museums nearby, then this is the place to go. 85/100

Love this place and so do my kids. The only problem is that they run out of milk alternatives quite fast (lots of people seem to love oatmilk) so it is hard to get the teas I like since I can't drink cow milk. Butttt their iced passion fruit tea (regular tea no milk) is delicious. My kid loves the milk tea with boba 😋 she is obsessed with boba tea and we hit up a tea house every month to find the best one. She put this store in her top 3 list 😅

Bubble tea was delicious! Initially I ordered the lava pearl however they didn’t have, so I went with the Taro Milk and it was fantastic. Highly recommend.

We got the smashed taro QQ milk and Hojicha tea with milk cap. I’ve always loved coco as a kid when I went back to China and my impression of it has always been good quality boba. Nothing spectacular, but good. I usually just get their milk teas (which are great!), but decided to branch out and try some others in the us nyc location. They were good but definitely a bit underwhelming. The taro drink just has a bit too much milk and it kind of felt like drinking milk with hints of taro. The hojicha could’ve benefited from a bit stronger flavor as well.

The menu is confusing and requires an explanation from the servers, but they are lovely and friendly explaining everything in detail. The place is hopping and definitely get a reservation. Small shop with great staff. Tried out a new drink and while it was aesthetically pleasing, it didn’t really taste too great. My friend got a mango green tea and it tasted very watered down which was disappointing.

Went several times. The flavor of the drinks is just not good. “Hot” drinks are cold. Probably every other boba place I went to was better. I don’t think you should avoid this place just to know what to expect for.

There was plenty of boba but it was tasteless, we asked for more sugar but it was not added enough, we could only taste milk, not tea.

The guy at this location closes the doors at 9:40 but it says online this location closes at 10. This isn’t the first time they’ve done this maybe write that you guys close when you feel like it so as a customer we would know to take business elsewhere

The main issue with this restaurant was misleading service and excessive upselling. There were only two diners, yet our server strongly recommended ordering five dishes, repeatedly stating that the portions were small. Based on this guidance, we followed his suggestion. In reality, the portions were far more than necessary, and despite eating thoroughly, we were left with a substantial amount of food. The final bill totaled $240 including tip, which felt disproportionate to both the quantity and overall quality of the meal, and negatively impacted what was meant to be an enjoyable evening. Regarding the food itself, it was average overall. The fish was decent, but the beef and hummus were dry and lacked tenderness. One cured duck dish was overly salty. The grilled mushrooms were the most enjoyable item we tried. Other staff members appeared polite and professional. However, the pushy and misleading recommendations from our server significantly diminished the dining experience. For this reason, I would not recommend this restaurant.
