Food was amazing! The atmosphere had a moody vibe, very different from most places I’ve been to. The waitstaff and bussers were very, very attentive! My friend and I had the pleasure of dining at this establishment, though we arrived closer to closing time without realizing it. I was so impressed with the staff that they didn’t make us feel rushed at all! Of course, we tried to wrap it up without stretching the dinner out too long! The food was very tasty, and the drinks were interesting in a good way! For date night, I would definitely recommend it! Keep in mind that if you’re like my friends and me, who love to order lots of appetizers to share, choose the floor seating instead of the picture-frame seating. Although it was very charming, the table is a little small given the place's aesthetic. Enjoy dinner!
Beautiful place with really good tasty food. Nice service. Great creative food option. Good date night place. Say yes to dessert!
While having no plans on where to go, my friend and I came across Mono Mono, and the moment we walked in, we were amazed by how beautiful the place was. It felt so cozy, the decorations were amazing, and the atmosphere was just perfect. On top of that, the food was great, the drinks were delicious, and the service was excellent. Everything from start to finish was perfect. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Really enjoyed the vibe at Mono + Mono. The space is stylish and lively, with a cool atmosphere that makes it an easy place to settle in and enjoy the moment. It’s the kind of spot that works well for a relaxed evening out. The food was good and comforting, matching the energy of the place. Overall, a solid and enjoyable experience that I’d happily repeat.
The absolute best. This is where I go to wow my friends. The cocktails are creative, infused with fresh fruit, juices and flowers. The food is absolutely tremendous. Family style is the best way, especially w a group of 4. I always get the wings, shishito peppers and then try a couple others. And then 2 entrees usually is plenty. You truly can’t go wrong here.
Dining at Mono+Mono is always a pleasure. My partner and I came here on our first official date, our one year anniversary and now: our second. Mono+Mono has become a staple in our story and has already started giving us memories when we walk through the door. I always feel so welcomed and excited to try whatever is on their menu. Even more excited to see theyre expanding the menu; in real time its pretty cool to witness. Drinks are on point and the desserts are the perfect top off. We met the owner, MJ, and his friends last night and they were the perfect hosts, providing warm thanks and gratitude. Such a pleasure to meet the creative mind who thought of this place. But Thank you, Mono+Mono, for giving Chris and I a place to start our story. We will forever be lifelong customers at your romantic establishment 💕
From the moment we walked in the video was amazing. The staff was super friendly and the service was great. We were seated in one of the intimate booths which was great seating. The in house DJ was playing perfect upbeat dinner tunes and the noise level was well balanced. First the drinks very very well prepared. Great balance, great taste and beautiful presentation. Prices were very reasonable and based on the food and service - the price was a bargain for this amazing experience. You must make the effort to go!
Dining at Mono+Mono Restaurant was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is stunning, with beautiful floral decor that creates a warm and inviting ambiance. The food was exceptional — the beef tartare appetizer was fresh and flavorful, and the bibimbap had a distinctive taste that set it apart from other places. The galbi jjim was perfectly tender and rich in flavor, a true highlight of the meal. Overall, Mono+Mono combines great food, lovely presentation, and an enchanting setting — a place I’d gladly return to.
LOVED that spot! The ambiance is adorable. I’d recommend sitting in the little booth area by the vinyl walls. There’s a DJ (I went on a Monday, so I’m assuming it’s every day!), and it’s full of flowers and Vinyls everywhere! Those chicken wings are the BEST ones I've ever had! A mix of crunchy and slightly sweet (from honey, I guess). A plate of 6 for two people was not enough… Also had the shishito peppers and okra, which were really good and not spicy at all. As a main dish, we shared the Kimchi fried rice with egg and beef, and the braised beef short rib. The fried rice was super flavorful and a pretty unique dish. The short rib was disappointing… a bit chewy and not memorable. Skip it. We had the coconut cake to share for dessert, which our waiter highly recommended and commented that it was his favorite. It was definitely good if you like coconut. A bit sweet and slightly too much icing, but soft and moist inside. Overall, a great dining experience, great with friends or with a date. Would 100% eat here again!
Visiting from Florida and came across this restaurant. We truly loved everything about this place. My boyfriend and I went for lunch and just wow! Such an amazing atmosphere, we played cards & sipped delicious expresso martinis. Our service was wonderful. (Took these on our film camera)
This is honestly one of the best restaurant atmospheres I have been to in a while. The service was phenomenal and the portion sizes are large! The food is a bit oily in my opinion so get a salad to help balance things out! If you’re looking for a trending yet comforting place to go definitely come here!
The food was better than we expected! The restaurant has a really cute vibe with lots of fun and unique decorations. We were seated in the far corner by the bookshelf, which made it a bit hard to get the server's attention at times, but overall the experience was great. We tried the Cherry Raspberry and Lychee White Peach drinks—both were delicious. For food, we ordered the Mono Wings and the Braised Beef Short Ribs, and both dishes were super tasty. Definitely a spot worth checking out!
The inside is beautifully decorated with the real tree and flower. The wall decorating with a lot of real book. We ordered the potato wedge, chicken wings and strip steak. Chicken wings are not to be missed! Get both flavors and do the half and half. They made really fresh order by order. It still hot inside When it serve it even we left a few minute. The food presentation really beautiful that show the effort from the chef. So impressed. We enjoyed everything that we ordered It really is just an awesome place to enjoy a meal we definitely to return for another date night soon.
Walking into the restaurant felt like a fairytale. The decor was absolutely stunning. The food came out quick and prices were reasonable. I highly recommend coming during happy hour, it’s starts at 3.
I expect more from the food and service considering the price point, but independent from that the experience was solid. The fries are a decadence-day delight, and the savory pancakes are nice and crispy on the outside, soft and layered on the inside. The soup was fine. The decor is top tier - smart use of (what I think) is a repurposed garment conveyor belt dotted with vintage records. I wish the thought invested in design and aesthetic extended to the rest rooms (which make me suspect the cleanliness of the kitchen - the rest rooms are a bit grimy, and not in the “curated mess” kind of way. A tad disarming). I’m being harsh, so I’ll balance it by saying I’d still dine here again (I’ve been 3x before) - especially if my mind blanks on restaurants and a friend is visiting town - this is my default. Keep in mind this establishment is cash-only!
Mono+Mono is probably one of the prettier interior looking restaurant out there with flowers and decor designed very beautifully! The record bookshelf area with rotating records on top adds a warm and futuristic vibe to the entire dining experience. So if you only care about the aesthetics and instagram-worthy photos, this is the place for you! The food was where it didn't meet our expectation, especially for the price. The galbi jjim, one of my most beloved Korean dish, was the biggest let down. It came with 5 pieces but the meat was not as tender as it should be, it was a bit more tough and chewy which is not reflective of traditional galbi jjim. The porridge was also on the blander side, even though it did come with a good portion of chicken. The truffle japchae was very flavorful, but the lack of meat made the dish overly simplistic in terms of flavor and texture. The best items we got though had to be the clam chowder and fried chicken wings. The clam chowder was so rich and intense that it paired PERFECTLY with the toast that accompanied the dish, we cannot recommend this highly enough! The fried chicken wings were perfectly crispy and moist in the inside, which is the perfect snack to pair with your cocktails or beer. The bimibap was just okay, nothing too extraordinary but didn't taste bad. Overall we had a good dining experience, even though for some reason they didn't have a record of our reservation, but it was resolved since we came early enough that there were seats available. No one asked to check-in about our food, so we didn't get the opportunity to raise our concerns. Overall, there is so much potential for Mono-Mono to be amazing, especially with its beautiful interior decor. Hope this helps them achieve the very best. Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:
Went for the vibes, and it is beautiful but it was pretty empty on a Monday night when I took my husband for his birthday. All the customers were crammed into the back of the restaurant for some reason, including us. Food was good, dessert was great, servers were great, not an expansive menu, so one and done for me.
The place is beautiful!!! I admire the decor and overall atmosphere. I ordered the Fried chicken sushi which I rate a 2/5. I was expecting it to taste better. The bulgogi burger and fries was my highlight of the day though! It was very delicious. I rate it a 5/5. I ordered a latte but needed to add sooo much sugar for it to taste good. I’ll give it a 3/5. My friends ordered the salmon sushi which was so much better than the sushi I ordered. I’ll give is a 4/5. Overall, the experience was good. Wish I tried their famous fried chicken!!
