Great large fresh slices shortly after they opened for the day. Appreciated the extra parm. The garlic knots were good but it's a lot of raw garlic, it'd be so much better if it was roasted.

Nuovo York Pizza, located right near Washington Square and not far from Union Square, is an absolute gem. I tried the square pepperoni, and those crispy corners are a game-changer—if you’re into that extra crunch, you gotta get it. The pesto pepperoni slice was delicious. I lived by a place in Queens that’s known for their pesto slice so I was shook when I tried this one. The creamy mushroom was my favorite though. It was light, flavorful, and doesn’t feel heavy at all. I had another slice that was topped with Arugula, that was a total win because it adds the perfect fresh kick. While eating here I noticed that this place is clearly a local hangout. People were constantly popping in for a slice. Heads up, they’ve got a great lunch specials too and the prices are super reasonable for the quality. The star of the show and I almost ate the whole tray by myself were the Parmesan bites. So crispy and so addictive. Talking to the owner about how they use fresh ingredients just made me appreciate the food even more. Definitely a spot I’ll be back to soon!

this was the first restaurant that i visited when i came to new york, and let me tell you this is definitely the best pizza i had on my visit there. such a delicious slice of pizza! i highly recommend getting the margherita slice or pie, but the store is really clean, the service was good, and all of the pies looked really fresh at the counter. they run a deal also for two sliced and a canned soda, so it’s a good value meal. check it out!

Fell in love with pesto pepperoni pizza because of this place! I was visiting NYC with a friend for the day, and Nuovo York was a great choice for lunch. The slices were HUGE and it was a great quality pie! I would absolutely come back next time we’re in the area to try more of their menu items. Everyone was friendly and it was a cozy space.

Super friendly team working. Pizza is fantastic and service is excellent.

Great pizza (even most Italians would like it. And Italians can be very picky about pizza) and fair prices. For less than $10, I could have two slices of New York-style pizza and a coke in the heart of Manhattan! Just a suggestion: please correct the name 😉 (in Italian, New York is “Nuova York”, rather than “Nuovo York”)

Really crisp crust, loaded with filling, clean, and the best in East Village! This time I had their new flavor with fresh burrsta and arugula on top at the end sprinkled eight olive oil! I love the pepperoni with pesto and lots of cheese! Heaven! This place have tables and chairs and good pizza! One of the best in the city!

The pizza was good. They even grated fresh parmesan cheese me. I don't know what stars to give for service and atmosphere. It is a smallish, local pizzeria. The man serving the pizzas was very nice though.

I visited with a friend to try out their pizza, and of course, I had to start with their signature mushroom slice. It was delicious! While I expected it to be creamier, the cheese blend, with ricotta underneath, was a pleasant surprise. The salad pizza was another highlight--topped with fresh arugula and creamy burrata, it was a good choice. The pepperoni slice brought a nice kick of spice which I loved. As for the pepperoni square, it was decent; the crust and pizza were way too thick. Overall, the pizza was solid and satisfying. The staff were friendly and helpful in guiding our choices, and I even got to meet the owner briefly. A solid spot for pizza lovers!

Great neighborhood spot. Really friendly service. Their ingredients are great. Delicious cheese on the plain slice. Nicely tangy tomato sauce on the margarita slice. And quality mozzarella on the cherry charm slice. But the quality of the dough and the crust is pretty average for New York City.

I’ve been here twice and both times the pizza was very tasty. The first time the pizza was delicious. The second time the pizza was also very tasty but they did not heat up enough. I asked them to heat up my second slice well done and then it was perfect. I love their pesto peperoni and cherry charm slices.

I happened to come across this little pizza spot while passing by and decided to stop in since I was hungry. It’s a classic New York–style place—nothing fancy, just straightforward and inviting. I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza with a bottle of water. The seating is limited and it was nearly full, but I managed to grab a table. The pizza itself was exactly what you’d expect from a New York slice: thin crust, crispy, with just the right amount of cheese and flavorful pepperoni. It was inexpensive, filling, fresh, and honestly one slice was just enough for me. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth checking out. They offer plenty of options beyond pepperoni, including square slices and other varieties to try.

Excellent Sicilian slices. Went for the two on the end. They looked the biggest. That’s what she said. Came to us hot and ready to eat. I like the doughiness and sweet sauce. Not a lot of cheese but an appropriate amount.

The slices in person are seemingly far more generous than what you get if you order a pie for delivery. The pie I got looks nothing like their online photos. I ordered a buffalo chicken pie and received the skimpiest pizza. Less chicken on each slice than in one square inch of their in-person pizzas. Barely any buffalo sauce either. Dough was maybe 1mm thick. I usually eat two slices for a meal and easily ate four slices of this in one sitting. I also ordered a pepperoni pie that had only 3-4 pepperonis per slice. Big ripoff for delivery, but giving 3 stars since their in-person experience seems good.

Had two slices delivered. Absolutely disgusting. The pizza was about the thickness of two paper plates together. Completely burnt. Every bite was burnt crunch. Can’t taste the cheese. Trash pizza. Never again.
