Food was absolutely amazing. I was in a party of six. 3 of us got the following items: Five Cheese Ziti, Build Your Own Pasta Bowl with side Soup (Pasta with Mushroom Alfredo Sauce + Chicken & Gnocchi Soup), and Ravioli Carbinara with added Chicken. Our server was Michelle and she was absolutely amazing!!
5 stars for the Olive garden experience… shrimps and cocktails were good! Pasta not really al dente and blend.
Good value with fair portion sizes and prices. I wish they had chicken wings. The location is right at the Square ...under the Samsung screen (where Sony and TDK! used to be).
This was suggested by my daughter on her research on Google. We were disappointed at all. The service is outstanding, and the server named Abby was extremely friendly and help us with great options. We tried few different types of pasta along with salad and soup. The food was super tasty. We all were very happy and satisfied. Must visit place for Italian delicacies.
For those of you who are disabled, this Olive Garden does have an elevator!! My mom and I came in at about 5-5:30pm-ish and were going to see Beetlejuice at the Palace Theatre at 7pm. We didn't have a reservation but they were able to seat us immediately. We told our server we were going to see a show at 7 and he was able make sure to get our food out fast. The food was great--I'm so glad they brought back the stuffed chicken marsala, it's my favorite menu item. And the service was great!
🍝 Olive Garden Times Square — Comfort Italian Dining in the Heart of New York One of the restaurants I chose for a proper sit-down meal during my time in Times Square, New York, was Olive Garden. After a full day of walking, sightseeing, and soaking in the energy of the city, this place felt like a comfortable and familiar stop for a hearty Italian-style dinner right in the middle of Manhattan. Olive Garden is an Italian-American restaurant chain that was founded in 1982 in Florida, USA. The concept behind the brand is simple: serve Italian-inspired dishes that are generous in portion, rich in flavor, and easy to enjoy. Over the years, Olive Garden has grown into one of the most recognizable casual dining restaurants in the United States, and the Times Square location is especially popular among tourists from all over the world. 📍 Location Olive Garden Times Square is located in the Theater District, just steps away from Times Square itself. The location is extremely convenient, whether you are coming from shopping areas, nearby attractions, or planning to watch a Broadway show. Several subway lines are within walking distance, making it very easy to reach. 🍝 Must-Try Popular Dishes One of the highlights of dining at Olive Garden is the complimentary Unlimited Breadsticks and House Salad. The warm breadsticks are soft, buttery, and addictive, while the fresh salad with the signature dressing is light and refreshing. For main dishes, the most popular menu items include: • Fettuccine Alfredo, a classic favorite featuring flat pasta coated in a rich, creamy parmesan sauce • Chicken Parmigiana, breaded chicken topped with tomato sauce and melted cheese, served with spaghetti • Shrimp Scampi, sautéed shrimp with garlic and white wine sauce, offering a lighter and fresher taste • Lasagna Classico, layered pasta with meat sauce and cheese for those who want something filling For dessert, Tiramisu is a top choice, offering a perfect balance of coffee flavor and creamy sweetness. ⏰ Opening Hours Olive Garden Times Square is generally open daily from around 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, though hours may be extended during weekends or peak tourist seasons. 💰 Prices Considering the location and portion sizes, the prices are reasonable: • Main dishes usually range from $20 to $30 • Desserts are around $8 to $10 • The unlimited breadsticks and salad make the meal feel even more worth the price 🏡 Atmosphere The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating, making it suitable for families, couples, and groups. Despite being in a busy area like Times Square, the interior feels warm and welcoming, with a casual Italian ambiance. The service is efficient and friendly, even during busy dinner hours. ✨ Final Thoughts Olive Garden Times Square is a reliable choice if you are looking for a satisfying Italian-style meal in a comfortable setting. The food is hearty, the portions are generous, and the location is perfect for tourists. For anyone wanting a relaxed dinner after exploring New York City, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
We had an amazing experience at Olive Garden NY thanks to our waitress, Jual. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was even better. Jual was incredibly attentive to detail, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. He checked in at just the right times and made us feel truly taken care of. This was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had—thank you, Jual, for such excellent service!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Dining Experience at Olive Garden – 2 Times Square, New York! I recently visited the Olive Garden Italian Restaurant located at 2 Times Square, and I have to say—it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome. The service was truly excellent—attentive, warm, and perfectly paced. Every team member I interacted with went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, all while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude. And the food… wow. Every dish was packed with flavor, beautifully prepared, and incredibly satisfying. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauces were rich and fresh, and even the classic breadsticks were warm and irresistible. You can really taste the care that goes into each plate. Whether you’re a local or just visiting Times Square, this Olive Garden is a fantastic choice for a relaxing and delicious Italian meal in the middle of the city’s excitement. I left completely happy and definitely planning to return soon. Highly recommend! 🍝✨
I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday at Olive Garden yesterday, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting, but what truly set the evening apart was the thoughtful attention to detail. I ordered the shrimp pasta, which arrived perfectly cooked — the sauce was balanced and rich, and the shrimp were tender, fresh, and generously portioned. My husband chose the steak pasta, and the combination of textures and flavors in his dish was impressive; the steak was cooked to perfection and paired beautifully with the pasta. But what truly made the night unforgettable was our server. He not only provided impeccable service throughout the meal, but also made my birthday feel genuinely celebrated. When he learned it was my special day, he offered heartfelt congratulations and surprised me with a complimentary dessert — a gesture that felt sincere rather than routine. It added a personal touch that elevated the entire experience. This visit reminded me why Olive Garden remains such a beloved restaurant: it’s not just about the food, but about creating moments that feel meaningful. My birthday dinner turned into a memory I’ll treasure, thanks to the combination of exceptional dishes, warm hospitality, and a team that clearly cares about their guests. I wholeheartedly recommend Olive Garden to anyone looking for a place where great flavors and thoughtful service come together to create something truly memorable.
The Stuffed Ziti Fritta at Olive Garden - Times Square is a tasty and innovative appetizer that easily stands out from the menu. Each golden, crispy ziti is stuffed with five melted Italian cheeses, creating a rich and creamy bite that’s both indulgent and comforting. The texture contrast—crispy on the outside and perfectly cheesy inside—is pure satisfaction. What truly elevates the dish is the pairing of housemade marinara sauce and Alfredo sauce. The marinara adds a zesty, tomato-forward brightness, while the Alfredo offers a smooth, buttery richness. Together, they strike a perfect balance that complements the stuffed pasta beautifully.
The biggest Olive Garden ever been in. Food as super fresh, tasty & portion sizes are huge. As always the warm garlic bread sticks are out of this world, so so delicious especially paired with the Alfredo Sauce!! Service was fantastic, Molly E was super nice & friendly - super attentive at refilling drinks & the breadsticks. At the end brought some boxes over so we could take leftovers back with us & gave us an extra breadstick as we mentioned they were main reason for going there!
This is hands down my favorite Olive Garden on earth! Located right in the middle of Times Square, it’s the perfect spot for a good meal and some of the best people-watching in NYC. The food is always consistent with what you’d expect from Olive Garden – my go-to is the famous never-ending salad and breadsticks, which never disappoint. Service here has always been great, even with how busy it gets. Just a heads-up: prices at this location are a bit higher than other Olive Gardens, but you’re paying for the prime Times Square experience. Totally worth it!
The Olive Garden in Times Square distinguishes itself with its second-floor location, offering expansive views of the iconic square. True to the brand, the breadsticks, soup and salad are the highlights of the meal and remain staples of the Olive Garden experience. The pasta dishes, however, are average when compared with the offerings of other Italian establishments. Overall, Olive Garden serves as a reliable choice for those seeking the comfort of familiar Italian-American cuisine while in the United States.
Visited at midday for family lunch. No waiting, quickly escorted to table and the service was excellent throughout. Food was great - kids meals must be some of the best value in Manhattan with generous portion size - we had two very happy kids. Main pasta dishes for adults were also excellent - the lighter lunch option would count as a large portion back in the UK! The Fettuccini Alfredo and Chicken Parmigiana were excellent. We didn’t expect the soups to be included with the main - again, they were excellent, and it was all a reminder that portion sizes in the USA are far bigger than in the UK! Highly recommended.
It’s a nice place to have dinner. For a reasonable amount of money you get a big portion of food. Main dishes include an appetizer so you won’t leave hungry. As everyone is saying the bread is addictive.
My daughter and I had dinner at the Olive Garden tonight while were visiting Time Square for a business trip! It is so overwhelming walking around you sometimes can't find anywhere to eat except Pizza! We walked around Time Square for bit shopping till we stumbled upon the entrance of the Olive Garden. It is right behind the bleachers of Time Square - you can miss it so be on the lookout. There are signs everywhere. We ordered the Chicken Parm for me and the chicken tenders and friends for my daughter and 2 cokes! Obviously we had to have the salad and breadsticks. We also ordered a quick appetizer "Mozzarella Sticks" The service was great, but this place is huge!!! You see people eating down stairs and then you go up an escalator 3 stories and on each level people are eating and drinking. This place is huge! Great views!! The service was good, but they were so busy we only saw our waiter 3 maybe 4 times and had to ask for a refill and ask when needed something. Not bad, but I found myself trying to look around to make sure I didn't miss him. Hey its like the saying goes when you dine at Olive Garden your family.. LOL
coming from europe you will find out that everything here tastes bland. keeping that in mind we order fettuccine alfredo with chicken, we paid 27$ for that plate portion wise it was ok, it was full of chicken and butter so its not something amazing....the service was amazing it was the only place we left a tip. the restaurant is next to times square so its really easy to get there....for sure you have to try it once...the breadsticks were ok and since they are free its a good thing to have
First time at Olive Garden. Got the unlimited pasta deal w/ my friends for the memes. Felt so sick after bc I ate so much - couldn’t eat any pasta for a month after 😭 False fire alarm went off while we were here LMAO - Never ending pasta bowl ($19.99): 5/10, could only eat 2 bowls of pasta + 1 bowl of soup. Tomato sauces >>> cheese sauces. The bread sticks are fire. Everything was too salty LOL, esp the meats
First and last time at Olive Garden. The food was pretty good, but the service needs serious work. When we arrived up the escalator we didn’t immediately realise the hostess desk was a sharp left and left again, and the attitude of this particular staff member appeared to be annoyance based on her facial expression, rather than understanding of the confusion. This set the tone for the entire meal. Our waiter was friendly but not attentive, he delivered our starters but we had no cutlery, and it took five minutes to get anyone’s attention to resolve the matter. It could have been solved quicker if staff were not continuously on their phones or chatting to each other. One staff member was on their phone 50 minutes out of the hour, they were in my line of sight and it was hard to ignore the unprofessionalism. Then, when our food did arrive, one of the orders was incorrect, but it was resolved quickly. Finally, when our bill came, I was asked directly what % tip I would be giving, when I said 20%, the particular staff member rolled his eyes, as I assume he wanted more. This place needs a serious management and staff overhaul, it should be the flagship store and be setting that standard. Service charge should be for good service, not whatever this was.
Olive Garden used to be one of my favorite restaurants—great food, great ambiance—but it’s definitely going downhill, or maybe it was just this specific location (Downtown Manhattan). The place is huge, clearly designed to handle large crowds since it’s in the heart of a major tourist area. Although the restaurant was full, we were seated immediately, which was impressive. We ordered the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo, which was surprisingly bland—no flavor, not even salt. The lasagna tasted like a store-bought frozen meal: dry on the inside and drowned in a thick sauce that didn’t complement it well. The main course came with a large shared salad and some breadsticks, both at no extra cost. When we asked for olive oil and butter, the staff brought them right away, again free of charge—which was appreciated. I also ordered a beer and a margarita; my friend found the margarita overly sweet and hard to enjoy. The highlight of the visit was definitely the service. Our waiter Anthony was outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive. All the other staff were pleasant and professional too. ⸻ Overall: Great service, but unfortunately, the food didn’t meet expectations. Hoping it was just an off day for this location.
This is my first time having Olive Garden. I did watch a lot of videos and stuff. I was very excited for the unlimited noodle? $13.99 in some states. $15.99 in others but it's $19.99 here fiy I didn't get any soups? Even though there is suppose to be "Unlimited Soups + salad + breadstick" Me and my group of 3 people got about 10 bread sticks. No Soups, 1 drink refill after tracking down the waiter $5 for drinks btw It seems like the waiter just doesn't care. Well he did Care when it was time to tip. LMAO But the unlimited Pasta Is $19.99 + $7 if you want meat. I manage to eat 6.5 bowls and I couldn't take the Rest To Go Anyways this is my first experience and I am pretty upset I spent $120 with my friends for this crappy experience
I don’t know where to start. About the food. As you can see this lasagna was overflowing with cheese, basically all I tasted and meat sauce was too runny. Then, the server started acting like a psycho because he didn’t receive a large enough tip (the service took long and no one seemed that friendly, I do not understand this American tip-begging anyway). He saw the tip, laughed and started commenting things about me while walking away. As we were leaving, he loudly complained to his colleague right behind my back so I could hear it. I confronted him asking why he feels entitled to my money, and he starter being passive aggressive saying “I wasn’t rude to you, was I??” Ridiculous behavior.
I have no words to describe this dinner, is this the real American dining experience? Food was bland, service was super fast. Huge portions and never ending drink, sauce, salad and breadsticks refills. We came here for the turist experience and I guess that’s exactly what we got, even had hair on my food.
I visited the Olive Garden in New York City for my birthday with my fiancé and was really excited to enjoy both the city and a nice meal, especially after seeing so many great reviews. When we arrived, we were seated quickly and greeted by friendly hosts, which made for a great first impression. Unfortunately, the service went downhill from there. We waited over 20 minutes before a waiter came to our table. When he did arrive, he asked for our drinks and then immediately, and quite rudely, pushed us to place our entire food order. After that, we waited another 20 minutes just to receive two sodas, and then all of our food came out at once. The food itself was great and exactly what I expected from Olive Garden. However, the service was extremely disappointing. Our waiter never checked back on us, was unfriendly, aggressive, and rude throughout the experience. The only time he returned to the table was to collect payment, where he hovered over us while we selected a tip, which felt very uncomfortable—especially since the tips were preset options. I’ve worked in the service industry for years and am currently a bartender, so I understand how challenging the job can be. That said, I strongly believe in working for your tip and providing good service, even on a bad day. Sadly, this experience fell far short and put a damper on what was supposed to be a special birthday celebration.
