I've been ordering from Akami for 9 years. The food is always good and fresh. the delivery people are always so sweet!

I've done takeout here a few times and have had no complaints.

I live close to this restaurant. I highly recommend going there and having the food. When you order food it doesn’t look and taste the same as it would when freshly prepared and served. Excellent lunch specials. Honestly the best japanese lunch specials in Manhattan.

They have a good lunch special here. 10 dollars and some change for 2 slices and a drink. It ends at 3 but they let me order it a little after.

We ordered a big delivery from Pizza City to celebrate our team’s birthdays this month, and it was perfect. The pizza was right on time, hot, and honestly some of the best I’ve had. The service was just as good—the kind where you can tell people truly care. What makes it even better is knowing Pizza City has been run by the same family for over 20+ years. We all know that kind of dedication isn’t easy, and you can feel it in the way they treat their customers and in the pizza's quality. Pizza City is a true must-try and I’d recommend it to anyone. 11/10 from me—thank you for making our team lunch special!

I ordered the lunch special; 2 single topping slices and a soda for $10. It was a great, affordable option. The slices were large and tasty. Staff were friendly. The ceiling tiles were painted by local children.

I’ve been coming to Pizza City for around 7 or 8 years now, and I’ll always say this—it’s my favorite pizza in Greenville, hands down. I’ve tried just about every pizza spot in the area, but I keep coming back here because nothing else really compares. The food is great—especially the lunch special with two cheese slices. I get it almost every time. It’s simple but perfect. Crispy crust, great flavor, always fresh. And one small thing I really like? They keep lemons by the drink station so I can throw some in my water. I love that. But what really makes this place stand out is the owner, Richard. He’s been good to me since day one. Years ago, when I was in college, I stopped by but realized I’d left my debit card back at my dorm. I was about to leave, but Richard told me, “Just pay me next time.” That meant a lot to me at the time. I didn’t have much money, and he didn’t have to do that—but he did. That’s the kind of guy he is. So yeah, Pizza City isn’t just good pizza—it’s a place with heart. I’ll always support them

Very good NY style pizza. I got a pepperoni pizza and The Special pizza. My overall rating is a 7.8, which is a high number for pizza in Greenville. The wait staff was a 11/10. They hired the best of the best teenagers and it was extremely impressive. Would definitely recommend and go again

This Pizzeria has been around since 1977. During this visit I ran into another customer who was also originally from New York and has been visiting this place for almost 12 years. Their pizzas calzones, buffalo chicken wings, and subs were delicious and tempt me to try more of their menu items.

One of the best places I've been to for New York style pizza. The fried mushrooms were exactly what I was wanting and hoping for. Calzone was delicious and huge. We will definitely be back.

The pizza is spectacular, this has to be one of the best if not the best pizza place in Greenville. The pizza by the slice is extremely reasonable and quite big. The French fries are double cooked so they taste absolutely amazing. The 12 inch pizza we got with our own toppings was excellent. The crust was crisp and the taste was authentic. The wings were very good but the hot sauce was not very hot.

10 out of 10!! Came here and got their lunch special. 2 slices and drink for $7.50. Their pizza was perfect, exactly what I was craving. Definitely my new favorite pizza place. ***I had to go eat at Pizza City ASAP bc I was craving their pizza again. The second time was even better. And they surprised us with an order of fried mushrooms on the house! Everything came out hot and delicious once again, and staff was so nice 😊***

I love their lunch special. The two slices that you get are huge. See photo. The pizza sauce is very good and the slices could use a bit more cheese. But, that’s just me. Staff is very friendly, but they wear a mask. Is this because they might have a disease? Really good parking. However during busy times it’s almost impossible to get back into traffic. A good location can cut both ways.

Ordered through the website and my lunch special was delivered within 30 minutes. Good quality fish and I’ll be happy to order again.

I’ve only been here 3 times. I got the pizza and cheesesteak hoagie and they were amazing. Came back a second time and got another pizza and wings. The pizza was good, but the wings were pretty bad, they looked and tasted like they were cooked in dirty oil. And today is the third time again, ordered the pizza and cheesesteak hoagie, both of them very delicious but I got fries with the sub this time and they were so greasy and soggy from the grease that I had to throw them away. I won’t be ordering anything from the fryer anymore, but I just wanted to let them know they should change the fryer grease more often. Friendly staff

Great tasting pizza, our pizza was fresh and the size of the medium is huge. They even brought the food to my car . I would just wish for a little thicker crust but that’s just personal preference. But outside of that I will definitely be back.

I ordered the shrimp bento box. The shrimp looked like it was seasoned but really needed more flavor. I really wanted to add salt. Same for the tempura. Sushi was pretty good as was the salad and soup. Portions were good. I expected more. Oh well. Service was great though.

Came for a quick lunch as it is right around the corner from my hotel. Nigiri and sushi roll were bland. Miso soup was also quite lacking. Fish was definitely not as fresh as I would expect at a sushi restaurant. Wegman's to go has fresher fish. Rice was dry/hard.

Cheap sushi, get what you pay for. The food is cheap, but it also tastes cheap too. Sushi left a weird taste in my mouth, and I suspect that the fish wasn't fresh.

Ordered food from here today and I am not sure if they were having a bad day or it was just me, the fish was off and I mean literally off, the seaweed was tough as leather. I have no idea why and the whole thing tasted rancid. even the rice tasted weird, I Literally took apart 1 roll and tasted everything individually to make sure, I was not going mad. I am not sure what happened but if you are thinking of ordering might wanna save your wallet. P.S There are a lot of good reviews online for them so I honestly believe it was a mistake and a bad day but they are never seeing a dollar of mine again ........ The two missing rolls are the one I ate and threw up and the one I took apart

I don’t write reviews often, but this place made me so sick. I got the lunch special from here. It tasted okay, but I couldn’t finish it - it was too chewy and salty. Within a few hours I was so violently ill I couldn’t keep water down. I was sick all night and it took over 12 hours for me to be able to drink water again. It’s been almost 24 hours and I still haven’t graduated to food. I do not remember ever being this sick from food before - seriously concerned about the health and safety of the kitchen here. I didn’t even get anything raw.

Waited more than 20 minutes for food. Salmon rolls are weirdly sweet. Chicken is overcooked. Too much jalapeno in teriyaki.

I asked for no tomatoes cool! But I also asked what all comes on the pizza never knew onions were on there! I called back to let them know that I didn’t know and the response was trash and unprofessional ! I Didn’t even get offered a fresh pizza without the onions or tomatoes! I also was told that next time I could get a fresh pizza ! Sad but this was one of my favorite pizza spots don’t think I will eat there again or a next time !
