Delicious food. Good sized portions. Good value. I come here every week for their lunch menu. The roasted pork is delicious!
As a student nearby I can say this is one of the best restaurants in the area. The food is delicious in a good price—most meals cost around $14 and are filling. The meat is tender and juicy, and the rice is well-seasoned. (SVA学生的新食堂出现了,快来吃
Quick NYC visit and stopped by this place—welcoming atmosphere, great service, and absolutely delicious food. Authentic Dominican flavors right in Manhattan. I had a great conversation with the kind and personable owner, which made the experience even better. I’ll definitely return whenever I’m in the city.
I’ve been here a few times now, the food and the service is always on point. Large portions for a fair price and the food is always fresh and tasty. Could not recommend the steak sandwich and their juices more!
Oh my, me, my brother and his wife just ate here, and wow, that food was so delicious. Oh my, I am so stuffed. Very delicious. And the service was excellent...
Well proportioned and presented food with immaculate taste. Very pleasant customer service and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend!!!!!!
Some of the best pernil I’ve had, flavorful and juicy, delicious crispy skin. A generous portion with rice, beans, and plantains for $13, very reasonable. Friendly staff even offers a taste of anything to help you decide. So happy to have found this little place, I can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.
If you’re craving authentic Dominican flavors, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit! The chicharrón de pollo they serve is hands down the best I’ve had in years—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Paired with their rice and beans, it’s a combination that truly hits the spot. The rice was fluffy, and the beans had that rich, savory taste that you only find in truly authentic dishes. But the real gem for me is their mangu—without a doubt, the best in the city! It’s smooth, buttery, and just the right balance of sweetness and saltiness. If you’re looking for a place that captures the essence of Dominican comfort food, this is it. Highly recommend it for anyone who wants to experience delicious, traditional Dominican dishes at their finest!
This is the mangú I have been looking for. It’s creamy, flavorful, and hearty, which is exactly what I want for breakfast. Comes with fried salami, fried cheese, an egg, and pickled onions. Highly recommend!
The food was amazing! I was craving Dominican cuisine nearby and found Que Rico Restaurant, which did not disappoint. I ordered the white rice, beans, and carne guisada—absolutely delicious! Looking forward to trying more dishes in the future.
Random Dominican spot on 23rd street that you would find uptown…had to try it and wasn’t disappointed def a must stop if you want some real Dominican food but caught in downtown manhattan and not close enough to the lower east side

Excellent, authentic Domenican food! First time here and enjoyed my Pollo with yellow rice and beans. Seasoned perfectly and not overdone, oily, or salty. Ask for Aurelyn, she'll make you anything! Limited seating so get there early.
Visiting new york for a few days and it has been the best food Ive tried. Great customer service as well !!
Favorite Dominican food in all of NYC. Pollo guisado is always on point and the cubano sandwich is unforgettable. Do not miss this spot if you like sabor caribeño!
I was introduced to this spot by my friend who I go to school with. The owners are great with the food being really good and affordable being a student in the area. I’m definitely coming back and bringing my friends next time I do!
Owner very sweet. Cheese empanadas/pastelito is fire. The baked chicken over rice is fire. Great food
We made a large order for a church event - They were extremely helpful over the phone, and accommodating to our requests. The food was delicious, and it's hard to find good Dominican/Latin food in the area. Would recommend!
Que Rico truly lives up to its name! The food was delicious, fresh, and full of authentic flavor. The portions were generous, and the staff made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming—perfect for a night out with friends or family. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Such a cute little pocket of Dominican comfort food - much needed piece of culture in the neighborhood. The food was delicious and the owner super friendly. I got the pernil with white rice and beans and the portions were more than generous and satisfying. Make sure to try the flan for dessert ;)

Pretty good. Like, it'll do, y'know. I used to live in East Harlem and this lechoneria is just.. Ok. Really nice ladies working there and the food looked fine, but there's better of you get further uptown.
