Came here with my friend for a girls date to celebrate new endeavors. And the establishment is great. Great atmosphere the awesome is good they also have a rooftop for warmer weather. I got the pre fix menu for brunch paid $55 and it includes a pitcher of mimosa or sangria I picked the mimosa it’s really delicious. Definitely will be back
Food drinks and music what else can you ask for!
We had the pleasure of being served by Terrance LaBoyd at Cantina on Hudson in NYC, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Terrance was attentive, accommodating, patient, and genuinely committed to making our experience exceptional. He went above and beyond by taking photos for us, adjusting our order to meet our specific needs, and consistently exceeding our expectations. It’s clear that Terrance has a true passion for hospitality, and his dedication and kindness made our visit memorable. I am grateful for servers like him who take such pride in their work and deliver a genuinely outstanding dining experience. Much gratitude, Terrance.
Ok this place is dope dope!! We happened to go when it was brunch and everything was delicious! The dj was on point, our waitress was on point and the food from beginning to end was on point! My only complaints were how hot it got. They had fans everywhere in the ceiling but didn't turn them on. My other one was while the food was delicious it wasn't much of a selection. Aside from that I will def be back but most likely after brunch hours.
I really like this place not gna lie, it’s always a good vibe. The food is usually good and the DJs are usually good as well. Tonight we had an issue where my sister forgot her ID but she had a pic of it on her phone and they would not let her in‼️ PEOPLE OUT THERE IF YOU DON’T HAVE YOUR PHYSICAL ID THEY WON’T LET YOU IN‼️ they gave us a warm time but after bout 30 mins they finally did. That was a bummer but we still made the best of the night.
Had a really good time !! Went for brunch and the food was delicious. We got a few dishes but the French toast was really yummy we also did the bottomless mimosas which was a good choice 🙌🏻 The DJ was hilarious and did a great job of getting the crowd moving and up and dancing which was soo much fun !! Literally almost everyone was dancing and having fun. It’s perfect for warmer weather since it’s a lot of outdoor seating.
Absolutely loved our day brunch at Skinny’s Cantina! This gem on the Hudson was the perfect spot for a ladies’ day out. From the moment we arrived, the vibe was fantastic—everyone was so welcoming and the staff matched our energy, making us feel right at home. The food was good and the drinks definitely hit the spot; they really knew how to keep the fun going! Plus, it felt like the DJ was in tune with our vibe, playing all the right tracks to keep us dancing. We had an unforgettable time just enjoying each other's company, and Skinny’s made it all the more special. Highly recommend for any girls' day out!
I was pleasantly surprised. Great brunch and party atmosphere. Service was a little slow but they were very accommodating and nice. The food was good, portions were ok. We went for brunch and had a party of 10. We ordered a drink before the group arrived. I got a mango margarita. It was good but I was not happy with the price. Picture attached $20 for my margarita, definitely not worth $20. The music was good and it was clean. I do wish they had a bathroom on the main floor because walking up the stairs while in heels and drinking was not fun. I will definitely go back, especially for a group brunch.
My first time. My last time. Food and service were amazing however, the ridiculous charges on our bill were crazy. Our total arrived amounted to $119. We had food and beverage taxes (not combined in one tax) and other miscellaneous fees which resulted in our bill being $153. No baby, we have money and we’ve been to better places. Never have I seen charges like this. I eat Waygu and Tomahawk steaks on a regular in NYC and have never seen charges as such. Great vibes; over priced drinks. A sangria glass was $18. Why? Happy hour beverages are not happy hour prices. Please do better
Had the pleasure of being apart of a tasting of the whole brunch menu so we had a little bit of everything. What I throughly enjoyed the most out of the whole menu were The Chicken Wings, Queso Fundido, Ceasar Salad, Steak & Eggs, The Churro French Toast and The Chicken Fajita. They also offered pitchers of Sangria and/or Mimosa which I would recommend the Sangria. The waitress which is also a bartender made her specialty drink for us as well which was very delicious as well as a Passion Fruit Margarita that I tried. All and all I would come here again and also try the other restaurants which are under the same ownership as this one.
I was so happy to be invited to this restaurant. When my friend and I arrived, we parked on the street nearby. We walked up and saw there was indoor and outdoor seating. It was raining so no one was outside. We walked in and were greeted by the female manager. I totally forgot her name, but she was nice and accommodating. She sat us, and Erica was our server. While new, she was on point! I loved her energy, and she was super attentive. We started with the sangria pitcher, and the awesome female bartender hooked us up with some specialty cocktails. The frozen margarita I had was so great! My friend enjoyed her coconut cocktail! For our appetizers, we both got wings, and the sweet chili wings were ok. Now it was time for entrées and I got the fajitas which were tasty and plenty to eat. My friend got the steak and eggs and she enjoyed them! The vibe was great, the DJ was off the chain, and the service was good as well! I really enjoyed my time!
Very cool spot along the hudson. It has like an lounge vibe with a live DJ and nice outdoor space. The thing that threw me off is they serve drinks in a small plastic cup. However the food was good. Service was a bit lagging as it appeared to be only 1 lady serving the entire area but all in all good experience.
I've been coming here for three years now. I went there to celebrate best friend birthdays, out on Halloween and now brunch. I can't say it was terrible but unfortunately disappointment. One the service wasn't good, we went on an Sunday which was empty and we didn't like the food also the music was sooo loud couldn't hear each other talk or order our food worried about they mess up our orders. Then they threw us out the table to go to the bar section. We basically left because they didn't want to serve us anymore. And the bill was high than what we supposed to spend. However I won't be here for awhile so if you planning on coming here for brunch it's a waste of time. Especially if you love to eat!!
They gave me a plastic fork with my mom’s steak and eggs order. I order the chicken fajitas and there was literally 5 mini pieces of chicken. Overall; the food was good, nothing to rav about. They do play a lot of hip hop. We requested latin/hispanic music and they played it for like 6 minutes .. maybe. But very hip hop oriented (we went Saturday for brunch).
Went on a Sunday for Brunch. It's not that easy to find parking. As I entered, I was thoroughly patted down. I don't think this place is to safe, and I was told they had problems there the last few nights. I stayed anyway because it was raining, and didn't want to travel anywhere else. Brunch is $42.99 per person. Each person gets an appetizer, and a entree off the brunch menu. You also get one pitcher for the table; Mimosa, or Sangria. I ordered the White Sangria. After the first cup, it tasted like water. Half the pitcher stayed on the table. The staff is not that attentive. It took the waitress ten minutes to even come over to the table, and it wasn't that crowded. The Buffalo Wings, & BBQ Wings are good. The Tilapia Tacos were okay, but lacking taste. Overall, I wasn't a big fan of this place.
$30 to get in. Staff aren’t accommodating. First they say you have to “buy a bottle” to be seated downstairs. When challenged on that because it clearly wasn’t true they said “each person in the party has to spend $50”. So which one is it? And once they see some ladies they liked they moved them to a downstairs table and all they had were glasses of champagne. Won’t ever come back here. Only thing good about the spot is the DJ. Inserted pics where there are ppl with no bottles but seated downstairs.
They did not notify us that they’re was a age limit, so we made reservations for my 25th birthday and was met with disappointment. The security guard possibly was on another planet and did not understand “let me speak to the manager”. I appreciate the young ladies in the front, trying to help but this needs to be displayed on the website. And we even called, multiple times and no one picked up. We could have cleared this all up when someone picked up the phone the first 3 times we called.
I would never go here again. I booked my 40th birthday party here. I emailed the manager as soon as I get there they did not honor the email know the invitation they try to make me pay more for the bottles and they wanted to take the money upfront for me first before we was even seated And it just made me not even wanna spend any money with them and we just went to another spot and I ended up enjoying my birthday. The manager everybody in here was so rude. They didn’t acknowledge any of the emails that I showed them that I booked before I even showed them the tickets that I booked. They didn’t acknowledge anything all they wanted Was me to pay the full price which was not a problem, but if I book something a week in advance, they was supposed to honor it and they didn’t.
You can pick up on favoritism in this place. Very racist feel which is very uncalled for. My friend had a birthday reservation, party of 5, one person was late for the reservation. They would not sit the party, until every guest arrived. We tried to explain to the host, the last guest was stuck at work but they showed no remorse. We had to wait til the last guest arrived to be sat. Then to be told we can’t be seated downstairs because those are now sections since we are passed the sitting time. We all found it pretty odd, how they told our party we could not be seated because all our guest hasn’t arrived; when there was a larger party sat and everyone was coming in one at a time. Our server had an attitude, until she realize we understood Spanish and some of our guest spoke it fluently. Just a very horrific birthday outing. Food was mid, drinks were pretty good for the most part if we could enjoy it. We were rushed to pay the bill because our server shift ended. Not a business I would come back to.
There’s so many reason why I WOULD NOT recommend this place. First thing is first brunch here is NOT bottomless. It’s one pitcher per 2 people. Not worth it. They include 20% gratuity for 5 or more, you’re paying for service that is not even given. Not only is this establishment poorly managed there was no AC throughout it. They have fans but they don’t do any justice. We were seated and for us to get our drinks it’s took about half an hour. To get our appetizers it took another hour. Like how long does it take for you to do Guacamole and chips ? We finally get our food which is another hour from the time we received our appetizers and we were still missing two dishes. If you’re going to take that long to have the dishes out, might as well have them all out at the same time. Two of the dishes were supposed to be steaks well done and one was still bloody so they brought a new one and still it wasn’t well done. All this and still the last dish which was chicken and waffles was not served. I understand what it is to be short staffed and to have to wait but this was beyond any wait time I ever experienced. If the restaurant didn’t have enough waiters the second floor should of been closed so that the people that are there can be served and accommodated correctly. Also your staff wouldn’t be overworked. Last, but not least there’s a woman who takes photos of you and your group just to put the photos in frames and sell them for $20. If you’re a hookah smoker they charge $40 per hookah and $30 for a refill. It’s honestly not worth it.
