Nice and cosy place, playing nice music. Friendly staff. Small, innovative breakfast menu. Rediscovered a childhood favourite of mine - half grapefruit with sugar coating. Good coffee and unlimited supply of tap water.

Brunch ready: outstanding place for a quick and casual brunch, with attentive and nice servers plus a killer playlist (old school reggaeton, yes please!). They were also really good at preparing coffee and the skillet was delicious. Ambiance is clean and modern! Also have plenty of gluten free options.

We went for dinner at this place before all the restaurants shut down. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, and as it was still an early evening on Monday, not yet busy in the inside. We decided some cocktails after we heard they infuse their own flavor to syrup and alcohol, and that their cocktails are all made from scratch! We had Lavender Mill, and A Pear to Remember. They were both really tasty! They really know how to make creative, strong, and delicious cocktails! We ordered some appetizers: Fried Pickles, Roasted Whole Sardines, and Chicken Pot Pie. They all great, but I was most excited about Roasted Whole Sardines. It looked wonderful, and it tasted as good as it looked! Sardines were so tender and juicy, falls off the bones! Delicious! Pickles were really nice too, and the Pot Pie was packed with flavor, one awesome pot pie! For main, we had Manchego & Prosciutto Burger, and Fennel Seed Crusted Tuna Steak. The burger bigger than I expected, and it was soooo good! It was like a symphony of all the ingredients, producing a melody of balanced, sophisticated, and totally satisfying flavor. Tuna Steak was HUGE! It looked like a giant piece of thick-cut steak! The bed of eggplants and other ingredients were super tasty, they certainly did not take side stage! All the ingredients were very fresh, filling and satisfying. We also ordered Herb Gruyere Biscuits + Honey Butter, since I was curious about their biscuit. It was warm, soft, heavy, and came with amazing aroma! It was sooo wonderfully buttery, dense yet light and airy. I LOVED it! Needless to say, we had a great dinner here. All the staffs here were friendly, polite, and courteous. They took a really nice care of us. We enjoyed every bite of every item we had!

Had such a great brunch despite it being a work day for me on this holiday. The bar server was so friendly and I really enjoyed my coffee and the chicken and waffles sammie! Definitely will be back here again!

Excellent fish and chips presented in style and accompanied by outstanding table service. Will return soon. It was that good. The Angaston Shiraz took us back home whilst the local dark ale was tasty. Well done.

Absolutely delicious. Generous portions of all the food we saw, including the pancakes, eggs, bacon. Large portion of berries with the pancakes - I don't know that berries could be so fresh in NYC in February! The portions of the OJ was smaller, but, fresh-squeazed as promised. Fast service, reasonable price for the quality, location, and dining experience. A bit hard to find from the street: look for the blue neon spoon above the door.

Delicious food! The ambience of the place was very relaxed. We came around lunch time and there was no wait. Very prompt and polite service. The Cubano was delicious and packed full of flavors.

Awesome lunch menu! We had some of their delicious coffee cake, coffee, iced tea, the Cubano sandwich, the Parmesean mashed red potatos with basil and chives, & the Steak Frites. Everything was amazing! The steak had a great char with rock salt and cracked pepper rub. We were visiting from Texas and found the restaurant and food to be excellent.

Brunch was all we could have hoped for. Wide variety of deliciously prepared entrees, bold coffee, and a staff that allowed old friends to linger.

The biscuits and gravy were awesome. Will probably get them again next time. Good beer, good service. Will be back.

Great service, delicious food. Seated immediately despite no reservation. We had shrimp & grits; pancakes; lox & bagel; biscuits & gravy.

Came in here to beat the heat. The place is clean and the mimosa delicious. I didn't eat but saw some of the French toast being brought out. Service was quick.

Brilliant brunch on the East side, good service, food and coffee. Our meals were all on point, with awesome biscuits, fried chicken, eggs, sausage... Somehow everything just tasted so good. They were good to take our reservation and seat us with one our party being disabled and requiring some extra assistance. Coffee was constantly being refilled and there was no feeling of being rushed. Great place!

Typical millennial brunch spot. The chicken & waffles was great. My drink was reasonably strong (for 12pm). No bottomless but they do offer carafes. Service was quick. I walked in, alone on a Saturday at 12 and immediately got seated without a reservation.

The waitress was friendly and the food was delicious. I got the kale salad with a medium done salmon. The salmon specifically was super delicious and I'd come back to order the same thing again for sure. This place is great for dinner or brunch! The decor is nice and there's a bar at the front of the restaurant you can hang out at if you're there for drinks!

So delicious! Get there when they open so you can be seated right away. Many people came in after us and had to wait because others had reservations. Brunch menu was great. I had the farmers plate. Their plum tomatoes and salads are fresh. Bottomless coffee too!

We were in New York for four days, and decided to try a different breakfast spot each morning. The biscuits & gravy skillet was by far, and second was not even close, the best breakfast meal I had. The seasonings and flavors were amazing. Very clean and nice décor. Including the wonderful tile job in the bathroom.

Randomly found this spot for brunch and was not disappointed. My egg and sausage dish was good but I wish I had ordered the eggs with biscuits and gravy instead - oh my! It was amazing and looked beautiful in the skillet. Bloody Mary was not bad but still on the search for the best one in nyc.

Attentive service. We had shrimp and grits and fried chicken and waffles sammie. My husband doesn't like poached eggs so he got scrambled on the grits. Waffles were fluffy. Everything was tasty. We recommend this restaurant!

Brunch was excellent! The food was delicious and portion size will not leave you hungry. We were not rushed and sat there for four hours catching up on a late Sunday afternoon. When they said unlimited coffee, they meant it cos I lost count of how many cups I had so needless to say service was great. The girls surprised me with a birthday dessert called everything and the kitchen sink which is simply nommmm!

Good brunch spot!! Service was very friendly. We ordered the buttermilk pancakes and the chicken & waffles.

Really great food. Service was pretty slow during peak brunch times but they were friendly nonetheless. The drinks are way over priced for the quality. A pitcher of what tasted like vodka mixed with lemonade was $47...

I came here for brunch on a Saturday and it wasn't too crowded or busy as other brunch spots in the city tend to be. The service was great and the food was delicious. I ordered a BLTA and it has a good amount of bacon and avocado with a side salad. I also shared the cinnamon and orange zest waffles with friends and that was a really great choice as well. The seating itself was a little tight as the tables are all pretty close to each other. Other than that it was a pretty good experience if you want a nice brunch date with a small group of friends.

Weekday breakfast here is the best, a rustic escape from urbanity. Food is consistently yummy. Rich flavors, hearty consistencies (or maybe that's just what I happen to order). The manchego on my eggs despana took the whole.diah up a level. Sometimes the bread is difficult to cut through (though it tastes great, go Sullivan Street Bakery!). And I understand restaurants have exorbitant amounts of overhead but $4.50 plus tax and tip for a coffee is just too much.

Relaxed brunch place. Nice selection of egg combos, but sweet brunch and bagel on offer, too. Bottomless coffee cup.

We made a reservation and didn’t have to wait long before getting seated. Came here for brunch, pricing isn’t bad for the location. Food is a hit and miss. Half of us loved what we had but not everyone loved their food. My chicken and waffles was delicious. The combination of the tomato, fried chicken, waffles with the spicy sauce worked very well! Presentation was great and it was very filling! Didn’t think the coffee and alcohol drinks were worth it given the prices.

I stopped in for casual snacks and drinks on the way home from work recently with a colleage. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised with the deliciousness and quality of the snacks we ordered. The fries were skinny and perfectly crispy and the deviled eggs were super flavorful with bacon crumble and chives. I will definitely add this stop to my "after-work" dining options!

Really delicious brunch find in Murray Hill. Simple, interesting breakfast/brunch menu, not overly complicated, just the right amount of different things for all palettes. Very good service, though slightly tight quarters. The biscuits were amazing! Highly recommend the biscuits and sausage gravy with poached eggs in a hot skillet. Coffee was excellent. Total comfort food with a little kick/modern twist.

Ordered the farmers plate, spoon parfait and the buttermilk pancakes. The only negative I have to say is that it took about 30-40 minutes to get our food. The pancakes were really thick and didn't taste of much. Definitely order the pancakes with chocolate chips which we didn't. However the spoon parfait was really good. The absolute best part was the farmer plate. Great bacon and sausage which was more like a meatball, but still great taste. Location is great and the place is very cousy. I would rate it to a 3,5 but I wouldn't mind coming back again for the farmers plate.

The scrambled eggs here are cooked to perfection, so fluffy and delicious. The coffee is a bit weak and the cappuccino tasted more like warm milk, but the food was great and the portions are generous. The sausage in the breakfast skillet had a nice kick to it, and the potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside - all the flavors married well. We added smoked salmon to the avocado toast, without it the toast would have been very basic. The chicken and waffle sammie was a hit with the table. The atmosphere was pleasant, however some of the staff was rude and seemed irritated when we asked questions about the menu - our waitress in particular seemed very stressed out and uninterested in actually waiting on us, so that was unfortunate...

The food was great, but the hostesses were quite rude to us! Service: I called the restaurant around 10:30am to ask if they would be able to accommodate 9 people split into two tables. The person who answered said we could not make a reservation but a walk-in would be possible. We arrived around 11:15 with no reservation. We were a group of 9 fully ready to split into multiple tables with separate checks, and told the hostesses this. We were given one table of 4 and told that we “had to be out” by 12:15pm due to a reservation...wasn’t sure why they would seat us if they didn’t expect to be able to feed our party before a reservation was coming in. To the other 5 the hostess told us she could not seat us at a table of 4 with an extra chair because the space was too small—she was right, but did not offer an alternative (splitting into 2 and 3, sitting at the bar) and did not even bother to ask if we wanted to wait for a larger table to be available (there was at least one table that could fit 6). We unfortunately had to send our 5 friends to another restaurant. Within 10 minutes of my party of 4 sitting & ordering, many tables opened up. Even at 12:15pm when we expected a large rush of customers, they had plenty of space left. I would not recommend bringing a large group (>4 people) here. Food: The iced coffee was good but on the pricey side ($5). Hot coffee was the same price with unlimited refills. Our table tried the huevos rancheros, cinnamon waffles, biscuits & gravy, and one of the breakfast sandwiches with egg/cheese/bacon. All in all great food for a very reasonable price. Our waitress was very attentive and kind throughout our stay! Really disappointed our other friends couldn’t experience it today.

Nice setting. Average location (not really near much else). Have to say that the food was over complicated. The biscuits and gravy was so muddled with that it wasn't the dish you would expect. The biscuits were also super overcooked. Also when advertising Mac and cheese and they use spiral pasta instead of macaroni, then you know something is up. WiFi doesn't work either. Staff are lovely though.

B
Bridget Laverty

I'd give it more like a 3.5 cause it was good the mimosas are very bubbly but I got the egg skillet that came with sausage but it was super spicy which I didn't expect so I couldn't even eat it all

D

Sami toast was dry and the flavors were a bit too strong for breakfast...$5 coffee.

K

Nice place with nice menu but overall okay. Fritters and cheese platter were tasty. Steak frites were ordered medium and was delivered so rare that the first cut filled the plate with blood. What I ate was tasty but not cooking as ordered makes me mark down on rating.

P
Pipsa Saarento

Weak coffee and cold poached eggs that I had to send back to the kitchen. Cute interior though but you’re not eating that are you? So,... go elsewhere. Service was nice and the hot sauce is amazing! I’m really conflicted about this one. I really wanted to like it, but it just didn’t deliver.

L
Laura Juliá

I would not recommend this place. First of all, they brought us glasses for the water that smelled really bad, as they have not been washed or rinsed with a dirty cloth. The variety of the brunch menu is very reduced. The chicken and waffles are not among the best I have tasted, waffles are very dry and the chicken is strangely spicy. The sauce it’s not good. We also tasted a stake salad thay was nothing special. Choose somewhere else!

C
Carlos Villavieja

Service was pretty terrible for brunch. They are kind but glasses were dirty and they missed several issues in the orders. Forgot fries and food was spicy and not specified. The chicken waffles were basically waffles. Portions are large.

How rude!! Rude staff, terrible service! Don’t go! I was seated quite quickly cos it’s empty but had to wait and wait and wait to order(?!) The waiter gave me the bill before I ask for it. Why the rush? The place was empty. See picture below. When waiting staff give customers the bills before customers asking for it, it’s a sign to kick customers out. If the place is busy, that’s understandable but it was empty. As I walked out, the waiter just stared at me. I gave him a smile expecting him saying thank you for I just gave him 20% tip!! Nope, no thank you for the tip but just staring at me. What is wrong with you?! Totally regret tipping!! If the boss of this place is reading this review, I hope you do, you need to train your staff for manners like Hello, Welcome, thanks for coming etc. Where did you find these barbarians? I came here for a few times a couple of years ago because I live nearby but stopped coming because the staff were rude. Over a year later, I came back hoping there’s improvement on service. I WILL NEVER EVER COME BACK.
