Dope vibes. Nice selection of arcade and pool tables with visuals on the screens. The food is good and the bartender is very nice and attentive I would absolutely come back here again!
This place is a fantastic bar and events venue! 🍻 Sugar mouse 🐁 on the LES 🗽 offers a wonderful ambience 🎶 and cool activities like billiard 🎱, ping pong, shuffleboard, and guest lectures with Lectures on Tap. 🍺 The place is beautifully decorated 🛋️ and have great music. 🎵 I wish I came here sooner and more often!
An energetic live music venue with great vibes. Spent hours playing the free arcade and watching the Knicks game.
Find Marly ASAP!!! Don't walk, run! I'm always welcomed with love and laughter when he's bartending. The best hospitality and drinks you'll ever get will come from this guy 😙
This particular event was a @PBP launch party! This place is amazing and so much fun! The wait staff are very efficient and friendly! It's definitely a good time!
A Playful Paradise in the East Village. Visited Sugar Mouse NYC, and it was an absolute blast! This eclectic 360 immersive game hall and entertainment venue is a perfect blend of fun, games, and a lively atmosphere. The first thing that struck me was the unique and quirky decor with a laid-back, playful vibe that immediately makes you feel at home. The space is well-designed with plenty of room for all the activities they offer. No shortage of things to do from ping pong and pool tables to live music and art visuals from wall to wall, there's something for everyone. The bar offers a fantastic selection of craft cocktails and beers. I tried a few of their signature cocktails, and each one was expertly crafted and delicious. They also host themed nights and events, which add to the overall fun and inclusive environment. What a cultural hotspot.
Sugar Mouse is a new discovery for me and it has really changed up my Wednesday nights! All the bright lights and design is really cool! They have tons of different games and billiards to switch it up! Bar is pretty attentive too and I’ve never seen the place crowded
😊😊AWESOMENESS IS HERE 😋😋 this review is for an EVENT HOSTING place only. Great place to have an event that has to do with pop culture or Fandom. Great restrooms and enough area to host a midsized event.

Sugar Mouse NYC is a hidden gem that feels like stepping into a whimsical dream. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with vibrant colors, cozy vibes, and the sweet scent of fresh-baked magic. Whether you’re here for afternoon tea, a birthday treat, or just to satisfy your inner child, this place delivers charm in every corner. The desserts are as beautiful as they are delicious—macarons, cakes, cookies, and whimsical confections that are clearly crafted with love and creativity. The tea selection is solid, and the presentation is picture-perfect (Instagram lovers, take note!). The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which adds to the warm, magical vibe. Sugar Mouse NYC is the perfect spot for a sweet escape in the city—whether you’re 5 or 50. Want a shorter or more playful version for Instagram or social media too?
Great place had pool table music, opportunity to bring a dj in sometimes very lively, bartender Marlon is great and cool guy and David as well highly recommended. Hidden gem
Went here for a friend’s birthday and had a great time. Two pool tables were reserved as a private section for our group only and the 40+ of us that were there had a very enjoyable time! Would highly recommend!
Sugar Mouse is hands down one of the coolest spots in the East Village right now. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between a playful game hall and a stylish bar — neon lights, great music, and tons of games (pool, ping-pong, foosball, board games — you name it). The staff are super friendly and on top of things, the cocktails are creative and well-made, and the vibe just keeps you wanting to stay longer. I especially loved how it’s all-ages earlier in the evening but turns into a fun 21+ hangout later at night. Whether you’re out with friends, on a date, or just want to unwind somewhere that feels a little different, Sugar Mouse is the place. Definitely my new go-to in NYC!
The pool tables are well maintained. They have also added arcade games, foosball and other games. The bar is a little pricier for my tastes, and so are the pool tables during the weekends. It’s still a lot of fun nonetheless. It can get quite busy during the weekend, so make reservations.
I went here for the Super Bowl and had a wonderful time. The owners were there and ensuring everyone was well taken care of. I will definitely be going again.
I did see a mouse but it was not covered in sugar. However, I did play a very excellent game of beer pong and made many new friends and the bartenders were just super chill and fun But I can't help but wonder: shouldn't a sugar mouse be like a gummy candy or some crap? This feels like a missed opportunity. And missed candy opportunities are the worst type of missed opportunities in the world
5 stars isn’t even enough for this place! The arcade, the pool tables, the music, the service, the events, everything is ON POINT! I’ve had both Marley and Maddy as bartenders and they’ve made this place a new hangout spot for me! Both have great energy and make the best drinks in the LES!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 We hosted my husband’s birthday party at Sugar Mouse and had the BEST time! The staff was so welcoming, the service was great, and the food and drinks came out quickly and tasted amazing. They really made the whole night feel easy and fun. The space itself was perfect for a party — we had a beer pong table, a pool table, Connect 4, and plenty of TVs, so everyone always had something to do. All our guests kept saying how much they loved the vibe. It honestly couldn’t have gone better. Highly recommend Sugar Mouse for any celebration or night out. We’ll definitely be back! 🎉🍻

Attended a few parties here. Always had a blast. Vibes are great, aesthetic venue with great sound system & wall visuals. I always look forward to their inclusive "nerd" themed events here :)

Drink selection was minimal. Had a fun time there, but what stood out the most was the food. I wasnt the only person that received a burnt pizza.

I went to see a show, a benefit. Looks like a great place to play games and plenty of bathroom stalls. I was going to buy a drink and was reluctant because of the overpriced cocktails, so I was going to buy a beer. However the bartenders had their heads buried in their phones. Not to mention they have a “kill switch” on the stage monitors for the live set up which should be more enclosed. Ended up causing a real nightmare for anyone full band performing or trying to watch the show. They all put in a big effort to prepare for the show and for the bartenders to do that is just wrong. They shouldn’t have access to the sound. And the mixer needs to be on the opposite end of the room. Not next to the stage. If you’re playing solo acoustic you should be fine though.
I came here to leave a review because it’s been almost 24 hours and I’m still disappointed in the service staff and mad at how disrespectful one bartender was. You’re a bar that hosts themed events. You don’t even CHANGE the drinks that are your NORMAL cocktails to be “specials” for the event and maybe (?) upcharge them. It takes 6 seconds to write “xyz drink = abc special” on a post it to put on the back bar and when you’re charging NEAR $30 a head for people to be there it would be nice if your staff would act like they don’t want to kill themselves. Trust, we’re all servers, or have been, or at least the event I was at most of us have been so we know you want to kill yourself, but I spent my hard earned tip money to be at your stupid bar. To give you said money. CAN YOU LEARN YOUR OWN DRINKS???? Or charge less for the event, charge less to host the groups so they can charge less, or charge less for the drinks, or don’t have specials at all!!! It can be solved so easily, but you set the pace. Meet it. ***it was not every single server looking miserable but every single server that interacted with, which was 4 in 3 hours, didn’t know the drinks*** Also to the blonde bartender with a choppy bob, if you can even call it that, threatening to spray cleaner in drinks if we don’t move when the bar is open for another hour is clinically insane. Then rolling your eyes when we ask “what” because that was an insane statement is bold. I’m sure you’re fine and this review will make you laugh, but writing holds people accountable. If you hate your job so much, get a different one. You weren’t even our server and we were sitting there holding our drinks at a bar, your attitude is one that will stick with for a long time and I pray I never treat anyone like that when I serve, but I know I never would because I treat people like people. Otherwise! DJ was great, the space was an awesome layout and very gender inclusive, security was AMAZING which is very rare for the area. I will be VERY hesitant to return, depends on who’s hosting in the space, but I’d never go on a normal night if this is the typical garbage they tolerate behind the bar.

The bartender (middle aged woman with blonde hair) was very rude to us after a simple misunderstanding ( we supposedly used the wrong pool table, we’ve never been there and were not given any instructions). I thought it was just her natural demeanor and gave the benefit of the doubt, but it was interesting seeing her be so nice and accommodating towards other people.
