This place has it all! Fresh produce, a huge selection of baked goods and pasta, and a restaurant! There’s also a wine shop and ice cream shop nearby.

This is the first time I’ve ever been to an Eataly and it was a cool concept. We actually landed here by mistake but I had the best pasta I’ve ever had. There were a few different smaller restaurants within an Italian grocery store. Everything was super fresh and the service was quick. This is more on the expensive side so if you’re looking for anything under $35 this may not be the place for you. I will absolutely return when I visit New York again and I’m hoping that maybe they will expand to Florida.

It is a great experience, not really Italian, much more American and at the same time super fun. Great food options, kitchen and home stuff to buy and a great location in the city. Restaurants are good but very expensive.

We went for lunch here during office hours. You walk through a nice Italian supermarket to reach this restaurant which is under the same roof. Its right opposite the Madison Park. I went for the set lunch menu which was truly bang for the buck. The tuna was served to perfection. The breads served with extra Virgin olive oil was lovely. We opted for the Tiramisu Conoli and the spin to made my day. Probably the best Tiramisu I have had in the US.

If you're a foodie and enjoy Italian cuisine, you must visit this place. It literally has everything you associate with Italian food, from 60 month aged Parmigiano Reggiano to a wide variety of fresh pasta, cured meats, and even raw meat and seafood.

I really enjoyed being here! A ton of options and if you like Italy and Italian food this is your place to visit in nyc

Random stop during our nyc trip and I’m sad we didn’t go back before we left. I really would love to buy some sauces or have lunch here.

Ahhh love this place! Came here twice on our week vacation and was impressed both times! They have tons of gluten free options for dinner and dessert. Loved being able to visit!

After my wife had eye surgery nearby, we went to Eataly to look around. We got coffee and a pastry in the Italian coffee area near the front and then did some exploring. Lots of places to eat in the back, fantastic cheese shop and much more. Nice clean bathroom in the rear area.

Miss Italy after spending my summer abroad and this place truly brought me back! I got a prosciutto sandwich and coffee gelato one day (forgot to photo) and the second day I came here I got yummy pastry’s. They have a whole grocery store, restaurant, and regular items you can buy. The building is 40,000 square ft. It’s huge! Definitely come check it out

We had a very nice lunch on Christmas Day at La Pizza & Pasta restaurant. I had ordered the lunch special menu: burrata, Tuscan ragu tagliatelle and panettone. They didn’t have a nut free panettone so I got the Amalfi dessert instead (limoncello curd). All delicious with very nice service on a busy day.

Eataly is the best marketplace! Filled with so many choices of restaurants and shops! All with delicious options for whatever you crave! Options to sit and relax at any restaurant or grab a bite on the go!

A very lovely place. From ready-to-eat meals to coffee and desserts, there are plenty of options. It feels like a small bazaar, and there’s also a market section. The bakery area is especially beautiful, and the coffee is excellent. Everything is very clean, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. I also noticed that the items in the bakery were clearly labeled with allergen, alcohol, and vegan information. It’s a very thoughtful and considerate touch.

We walked past this not realizing what this was, not realizing what rabbit hole we were about to go down. Such a cool place to check out. The focaccia sandwiches are so good!

Had dinner here at the pop up Amalfi rooftop experience. I lived in Italy for three years and this place took me back. I forgot for awhile I was in the United States. The Ravioli was just to die for. I went back for brunch. Not as exciting as the dinner but still 4 star brunch. Be forewarned you are in NY and paying for an experience so it is a little pricey but I would come back. The dinner though was met with an amazing server named Dino. This guy was on top of it and had an amazing personality.

One of my favorites place to get groceries, meat, or fish. Their unique options and sales are always what keep me coming back. When I am not cooking, I enjoy a few of their on-site dining locations as well. Weekends get very packed, so hopefully early in the morning! Make sure to visit their wine store, right next door on 23rd; some great options. Photo: Double R Ranch Porterhouses

I always love coming here—not just for groceries but for the unique gifts. It’s a great spot for anyone who loves food or wants authentic Italian items. I even did some of my Christmas shopping here last year! They carry a lot of pieces similar to what I’ve seen at Bloomingdale’s, but with that true Italian touch. The food and drink options are always solid. On my most recent visit, I had their espresso martinis—only had two and I was done for. They were very good, made with real espresso. I also tried the Cacio e Pepe arancini. They were okay, but definitely needed a side of sauce; the middle was a bit dry. Always a fun stop no matter what you’re there for.

Authentic and gourmet Italian market and eatery. We loved the pizza and pasta restaurant in the back. Lovely to go with the family/young kids since they have a great kids menu which includes the option for a bunny or heart shaped pizza. So fun! AND delicious (that tomato sauce is just perfect)

W

So many food options and plenty of things to grab for home too. I stopped by right before heading back, and it was honestly perfect for last-minute grocery shopping. Easy to browse, lots of variety, and I ended up picking up way more than I planned

Would highly recommend anyone spend some time in here to peruse the plethora of Italian goods and items as well as restaurants and bars to try to food! We stopped into Bar Milano for Restaurant Week and sent a few hours having just the best time over a bottle of wine. Centrally located. Bathrooms are nice. If you have time to just look around, you will really enjoy this adventure.

Eataly is such a great concept — an impressive selection of high-quality and hard-to-find Italian products, beautifully displayed in a space that feels lively but well organized. It’s more than a grocery store; the layout blends retail and restaurants seamlessly, making it easy to shop, grab a coffee, or sit down for a proper meal. A great spot whether you’re stocking up on specialty ingredients or just spending an afternoon wandering.

This place is much more than a grocery store — it’s an experience. The variety is incredible and everything is well stocked. It feels like a lively, interesting space where you can shop, relax, and even have great conversations. The bar and coffee area are combined, which makes it even more special. You can order cocktails right at the coffee counter, and the coffee itself is excellent. I come here often to try different foods. If you’re a serious meat lover, this is the place. Their meat dishes are outstanding, especially the chicken and the soups — rich, flavorful, and satisfying. They also have a wide selection of pizza and Italian snacks. You can find almost any classic Italian comfort food here. If you’re looking for a casual spot to grab food with friends, this is definitely a great choice.

M

A local friend recommended that I had to walk through the market before I leave and she was spot on. I could have spent all afternoon here eating and sampling and watching the cutting, chopping and folding of all the delicious food. Since I fly I only got the tomato pie but man was it good even a couple hours later at LGA. I did purchase a bag of dry garlic and chili bowtie pasta for home since you can carry on dry goods. Can't wait to find a complimentary recipe to make them.

Their ramen soup made me want to cry! It had so much depth and flavor without making it too heavy or leaving one with certain after taste. My picture here really does not do it justice. All ramen restaurant chefs need to be sent here for additional training. The omurice was absolutely amazing with the exception of the fried rice underneath. The fried rice was indeed tasting a bit too hard and old. The peppercorn sauce was so silky and delicious. If they would pay more care to the fried rice underneath and refine it somehow, the entire dish would be perfection and unbeatable. The sushi was very good. Their fatty tuna sashimi was not worth $14 a piece, because it didn't give me the melt-in-your-mouth experience. I probably should have listened to the waiter and gotten the sashimi platter rather than trying out two pieces (one person each) of the sashimi and receive more other types of sashimi instead. Nonetheless, the sashimi presentation was beautiful and elegant. The service was great. Everyone was patient, polite, and kind and worked as a team, and we were given their restaurant branding trinkets for free. It was a sweet gesture. This was a huge treat for us visiting from Houston, Texas! Ps. Their bathroom was roomy, contemporary, and clean!! Very impressed!!

Stumbled upon this gem walking back to my hotel room and stopped in to get dinner. The food was DELICIOUS. Some of the best salmon sushi I have had. It was so good that I came back the next day for more! Staff was super sweet and was able to walk right in and get sat. Both days they have been packed!

Food here is awesome. Phyu our server made us feel at home instantly. We tried it all from ramen bowels and sushi to spicy bowls and drinks. Check out my pics. They were more than willing to accommodate large groups and have 3 and 4 item fixed price offerings. And you will be surprised how clean the place is. If you haven't tried Tenjou, get down here right away. Bound to be one of your favorites. And ask for Phyu, she is the best

Oh wow. Everything was great! Service was quick. Every item was so delicious. Ordered Edamame, Shoshito Peppers, Spicy Ramen, Yellowtail Jalapeño, Crispy rice, Omurice, and beer and Strawberry Mint Mojitos. I was expecting the bill to be over $200 but to my surprise, way less. Highly recommend!!! (Sorry, I had a video presentation of the Omurice, but couldn’t upload it)

I come here all the time, the food and service is phenomenal. The staff is so polite and well informed about everything on the menu. The sushi is so fresh and delicious, drinks are well prepared and just overall amazing. 10/10 would 100% recommend. Appetizers are exceptional. They have an amazing lunch special and coming for dinner after work is just as amazing as well!

Upon entry, the restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere. The food that was ordered, was delicious and presentable. Definitely recommend for anyone to visit. Most notable was the service. Made a reservation for a very large group (10+). The staff were extremely accommodating despite our size and maintained the highest quality of service. (PS: Raymond is the GOAT 🫡)

Wonderful. Staff was very helpful. Ramen was on point with excellent toppings, great broth and flavors. However there were only 2 thin slices of meat which did not well support the wonderful noodle, reducing overall mouth feel. Omurice with pork katsu were great. Server presented the cutting and drapping of the fluffy omelette onto the fried rice very nicely. Black pepper glaze was super addictive. Wish the pork was thicker, then it would be perfection🤩 Sushi was great. Will definitely return and catch the happy hours. Wanted to try the tempura and yakitori too but we were too full 🤣. Next time for sure 😎

I recently enjoyed a Japanese meal at Tenjou that featured some real comfort classics. The omurice had the perfect balance of creamy egg and flavorful fried rice, and the tonkotsu ramen was rich and deeply satisfying, with a silky pork broth that felt both hearty and indulgent. I also loved the takoyaki – crispy on the outside, soft and gooey inside. Altogether, it was a well-rounded meal that highlighted the comforting, street-food side of Japanese cuisine. Definitely recommended!!!

Absolutely loved my experience here! I ordered the lunch special with spicy tonkotsu, shrimp tempura, and matcha pudding — everything was incredibly delicious. The broth was rich and flavorful, the shrimp tempura perfectly crispy, and the matcha pudding was the perfect sweet finish. The servers were super kind and attentive I’m already looking forward to coming back!

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and highly professional, ensuring that every detail of the service was taken care of. The sushi itself was outstanding—remarkably fresh, expertly prepared, and presented with elegance. Each dish highlighted the quality of the ingredients and the chef’s skill. The atmosphere was pleasant and refined, making the entire dining experience both relaxing and memorable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic, high-quality sushi paired with exceptional service.

Dined here recently. We were lucky to get last minute reservations on a Friday night. The atmosphere is fun and a nice escape from the city streets. Food was generously portioned and delicious! Staff was friendly and cocktails were interesting and very good! Definitely should plan to check this out while this pop up is here!

Always feel like you are eating the freshest food at Eataly. Since you are surrounded by products and groceries, it certainly adds to the feeling. Love the Italian accent of the service personnel and the specials. Don’t count calories if you are headed there.

We stopped by Eataly Flatiron and picked up a tiramisu. It was really nice — creamy, smooth, and with a good coffee flavor. It is a little on the sweet side, but still very enjoyable. Eataly itself has a ton of stuff inside, so it’s fun just wandering around. Pasta, bread, pastries, cheese — there’s so much to look at that you kind of lose track of time. If you’re already exploring the place and want a simple, tasty dessert, the tiramisu is a good pick.

Lovely interior and atmosphere. Attentive service even when it was peak lunch hour. I ordered the omurice with black pepper sauce. It did take longer than I'd like to come out, almost 25 to 30 min. I did see many others ordering it as well, and it was busy, so I guess understandable. The rice itself was nothing much to write home about. It was saved by the delicious sauce and Egg was done nicely. The chicken katsu that came with it was real good too. I will return again to try other things and hope it will be faster next time

This restaurant has a lively atmosphere and the service was okay, though the music was pretty loud in my visit. The ramen was decent, but it doesn’t quite hit the spot if you’re looking for authentic Japanese flavors. Still, it’s a solid place for a casual bowl and the experience overall was good.

Leo Zou

Really clean vibe and atmosphere right upon entry. Their lunch combo is great, too Clyde’s appetizer, entree and a desert. Pork bun and the pork yakitori was alright and average, what one would expect. Tonkatsu ramen was good, the broth was a bit salty. Omurice really looks nice. The deserts really wraps it well, matcha pudding is a must get. The tiramisu was a tad too sweet.

Service was quick, food was decent. Don’t think it stood out but it was reasonably priced! Mega ramen was mediocre, probably needed more toppings. Omurice was more interesting!

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars! The staff is super nice, and both the restaurant and bathrooms are spotless — always a great first impression. I ordered the omurice, and when the egg accidentally slid off the rice, they actually took it back to remake it without me even asking — such a thoughtful touch! The lunch deal here is amazing — appetizer, entrée, and dessert for just $25! The ramen was good, though I personally prefer my pork belly with a bit more fat. Their pork (both in the ramen and the bao) was on the leaner side. The pork skewers were fine but nothing mind-blowing. Now, the omurice with the chicken tempura-battered cutlet? *Perfection.* Crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, and the brown sauce added just the right amount of sweetness. The egg was smooth and silky over the rice — total comfort meal. The poke was okay — again, nothing amazing — but I ended on a high note with the matcha panna cotta and red bean dessert. Such a lovely finish. If you come here, definitely go for the omurice with the chicken or pork cutlet — that seems to be their signature dish. IG: Jubes111. Youtube: Jujubi Gratitude Switch

Food was okay. Best thing on the menu is definitely the omurice and something that everyone ordered when I looked around but everything else was pretty regular to me. But i have eaten at a ton of izakayas in New York and Japan so my taste buds may be biased. I felt rushed to order and mid order the waitress left so I had to call her back to finish the order lol

The restaurant is spotless and has a welcoming atmosphere. I tried their Korean beef rice and it was savory, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Their skewers were beautifully prepared and full of flavor—definitely worth trying. The highlight of the meal, though, was the omurice. It was rich, decadent, and truly the star of the menu. Tenjou pays attention to both cleanliness and quality, and it really shows. Highly recommend!

I give Amalfi by Serra in Eataly, NYC a 3 stars. I had ravioli which was good but not exceptional. However, the appetizer burrata was very good. I’m not particularly keen with the decor, the ceiling has all plastic plants and flowers not to my knowledge taste.

Food was pretty good. Service was on the slow side. Surprisingly came out very lukewarm warm and they brought my wife a veal dish accidentally when ordering a vegetarian one. Wouldn’t go back necessarily.

I wanted to love this place. It looks like a farmers market w/ a lot to buy, but it seems tourist trap’y… I say this, as the food at the restaurant was bland and over priced, with all the locations we tried, were all packed with tourists. The staff were all nice but clearly extremely overwhelmed. Also the restrooms smelled horrible of urine and were clearly too small for the amount of ppl in the building.

Finally had the chance to stop by for dinner after it opened a few months ago. It was pretty busy when we arrived around 6pm on a Saturday, but there were still a few tables available for our party of 2. The restaurant is decently spacious, and the clean and minimalist decor made for a very welcoming environment. We ordered the omurice (I think their speciality), the Hawaii poke bowl, and two of the sushi rolls (salmon and yellowtail/scallion). The omurice was very delicious. The egg was cooked expertly, to the perfect runny-ness/texture, and the brown sauce was very nice, adding some savouriness to the omelette without being too heavy or salty. The fried rice was not bad, but I don't think there was anything too notable about it. We chose the pork cutlet (instead of chicken) and it was also fine. The meat had a nice flavour but it was just a pretty average katsu. The Hawaii bowl was fine. The fish had a lovely, fresh flavour which went nicely with the sesame sauce. However, the veggies (cucumber and avocado in particular) did not taste very fresh -- had a bit of an overripe/old flavour to them. Not the worst, but definitely detracted from the overall bowl. The sushi rolls were pretty good. Like the fish in the poke bowl, they were fresh and tasty. Overall, the meal was not bad, but I don't think it was anything particularly fantastic. The price point was also on the higher side, especially for the portion sizes. I think I'd want to try one of their ramen or yakitori options if I come back in the future, but don't think I'm in too much of a rush to do so.

The Eatly restaurant has a great location in the Flatiron District, but my experience on Valentine’s Day was disappointing. The restaurant was extremely crowded, and the menu selection felt limited. I ordered the fried polenta, which unfortunately was too hard. I also tried the trio of pasta samples—one dish included ham, and I actually enjoyed the ham more than the pasta itself, which says a lot. Overall, this visit was a thumbs down for me. That said, I’m open to giving it another try on a less busy day and hope for a better experience next time.
