This has always been on my list to try and it didn't disappoint. GET THE DRAFT!!! Its easy, quick and reliable. Every single time it just gets better everytime I am in midtown. I walk blocks just for their matcha + the cane syrup aaaaaahhhhhhhhh. It's the proper sweetener. Wish they sold bottles of it. And the napkiiiiiiins awh. This is officially MY MATCHA SPOT!!!

A must visit Matcha spot!! Highly recommend the draft matcha, delicious. Went there twice and got the same order. Janet deserves the best employee, she was very welcoming and friendly. For sure it was the draft Matcha and the friendly atmosphere that made me come back the next day.

Wow, such a fun matcha shop. I stopped in out of curiosity. The store is vibrant and well decorated. The matcha is also fantastic. I would highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area.

I travel to NYC often and Cha Cha is one of my primary reasons why I come to the city. I absolutely love the freshness, earthy and well balanced matcha lattes. I have tried everything on the menu (except the strawberry matcha because I’m allergic) and have never been disappointed.

It’s my first time trying the matcha here and it’s delicious! The girl taking our order was nice enough to give us more options instead of leaving when we first heard they weren’t taking cash. They had great atmosphere and met me and my friend with a welcoming smile right when we came in :) definitely recommend, the vibe here was great!

Cha Cha Matcha is such a cute spot for Matcha! I love the pops of pink and the tropical feel. Service was fast and flavor was great! It is a small shop with some seating and charging outlets. Having Matcha in the name, I had high hopes that were met- I had the iced Matcha latte which was nicely flavored. Some places try to do matcha and it’s not great but this was amazing.

Its packed with people. Drinks are kinda sweet side if you are diabetic like me. I ordered 6 drinks. I wouldn't know this is self serve store unless you tell me since its my 1st time here. Had to put the lids on myself and pack my own drinks on travel trays then be offered a paper bag option after standing there for a while. It very good for teenagers I purchased for. But its sweet for diabetics like me and for older person who like matcha to be plain who I purchased for. The option for sweetness level wasn't offered or dispalyed on menu. The sugar, lids, and napkins were displayed on a different tablestand across from serving counter. It would be nice if you have on the menu different types of sugar availabe and level of sweetness to select from displayed on menu. Different taste for different people with diabetes or allergy to sugar or milk types.

The vibes of the place are immaculate! I've got an ube matcha, spent $11 and need to admit it was a delicious drink with high-quality matcha. The taste of matcha was rather subtle, but if you like your ube, you'll definitely be happy with the drink (just like me). The baristas (matchistas?) were a bit zoned out, but it's understandable with a high number of orders during the peak matcha break time. Perfect place for an afternoon drink with the girlies!

ive been coming here for a couple of years and used to absolutely LOVE cha cha matcha - the matcha was great, super friendly staff, and price was amazing. Now, the staff is still very friendly, but the experience has definitely changed. the cups are either a 12 oz or 20 oz, which I think is a mistake as it used to be 16oz (the perfect size). The price has also increased where I am now paying 10$ for a 12 oz matcha that used to cost me $7.50 for 16oz. anyway, if they changed the sizing back it would be fine, and if they also lowered the pricing. the atmosphere is still pretty cool tho! The place has a great, vibrant atmosphere with a stylish setup that definitely stands out. However, the drinks were a letdownn. The matcha didn’t taste like matcha at all, and the chai latte was quite disappointing. On the bright side, the chocolate protein smoothie was excellent—rich and flavorful.

The only thing worth buying here is the draft matcha latte. It’s consistently good when it’s available (which as of late is not regularly). After walking in today to get a draft matcha, I was told it was sold out and was convinced to get a matcha latte instead. Not sure why but everytime in the last several years that I’ve visited this location, every barista who’s made me a matcha latte here cannot properly make one. The photos attached show my beverage about 3 minutes after leaving the store. The matcha is clumpy, separately and not properly mixed. This was an $8.50 beverage that was supposed to taste “the same” as the draft latte per the advisement of the barista and it does not. Not only that but this drink was $2 more. Please do some quality control and refresh the training at this location. I understand this location can be busy and people are impatient, but at the end of the day you’re paying for quality at a premium and this is not it.
