This bar has became one of our favorite spots to visit! The food, drinks, and vibe are always great! The service is top notch! Alice the bartender is so lovely! We have come in slow days and busy days and she is always attentive and so friendly! She has become more of a friend to us each time! Also tried the wings for the first time and was blown away! They also have a sick happy hour and good deals throughout the week! If you stop by be sure to see if Alice is working! She is will be sure to make you experience even better :)

The Raven has become one of my favorite spots on the Upper East Side, and the bartenders are a huge reason why. Every time I walk in, I’m met with genuine hospitality, great energy, and a level of professionalism you rarely find in neighborhood bars. If you’re looking for a spot with great drinks, great people, and a real neighborhood soul, The Raven is absolutely it. Declan and Jamie make the experience special every time. Highly recommend.

The Raven is a standout Upper East Side neighborhood spot with a fantastic atmosphere and great drinks. It’s exactly the kind of place you want to settle into for a few rounds. Our waitress, Laura, was also great—attentive, friendly, and really made sure we were taken care of. Highly recommend stopping in.

Raven is truly a standout bar. The service is exceptional, especially thanks to Declan and Jaime, who bring unmatched professionalism, warmth, and expertise to every interaction. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality make the experience unforgettable. The food is delicious and consistently well-prepared, and the atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxed perfect for any night out. Raven never disappoints and is absolutely worth the visit.

This modern Irish pub is an Upper East Side gem. The atmosphere is warm and very inviting. Cozy when not full, and a bustle when full. To be clear, what makes The Raven a gem is really due to the friendly, knowledgeable and energetic staff. The Staff is Key: The female and male bartenders (names redacted here) serve *everyone* (young to old!) efficiently with their fantastic and distinct warm Irish personalities. If you are a 'regular,' they know what to pour. Great mixologist skills. They even manage to cover table service too, and this is no breeze when it's game day/night. They cover it all with a watchful eye. Really excellent . [I am not a diner, but many come for the food selection, and I hear many surprised happy foodie comments.] Oh yes, the TV access is wide with multiple game selections -- when it's doable within reason. We sat at the bar and ordered food, which came out quickly and was genuinely good. It seems like a great neighborhood spot overall. However, the bartender on shift — Jamie, according to other guests — appeared to be quite drunk and was giving out a lot of shots. The music was also extremely loud, which made it hard to relax or enjoy the atmosphere. Our original plan was to stay longer to watch the football game, but the vibe just wasn’t what we were looking for that night. We ended up finishing our food and heading out.

Was great(Am Trash days). Fear and loathing.. without the faintest idea of what that means.. has made this once great exchange weak. Yearning for mediocrity they find it. Mmmehhh.

I had a frustrating experience at this place . My friend was charged twice for a single beer even though he had already closed out his tab, and I was charged a service fee on my card. While I missed the note about the service charge at the very bottom of thr menu, the staff member’s attitude who had blonde hair was unprofessional and confrontational. Another staff member eventually resolved the issues, but the initial interaction left a negative impression. I hope management addresses this, as the bar itself has great food but staff behavior significantly impacted our experience. My family is in the in the hospitality business and their staff knows better than to treat someone like that!
