Found this little shop on a whim and it did not disappoint! The vibe is instantly set with tons of fresh indoor plants and Puerto Rican flags (Hello? Bad Bunny? Wya?) We ordered a Conquito & Horchata latte both with oat milk. 10/10. Cool thing about this place is that they have 3 different bean choices as well that they roast themselves. Cindy was so helpful with suggestions and handled multiple customers seamlessly and with care 🤍🖤 Would def return when I come back to NYC.
Awesome coffee find! Double espresso was perfect! You can choose the variety of bean. Also tried a cream cheese and honey pastry this was also great. Great vibes, close to Penn Station, and funky interior. Server/owner was very friendly. Great experience, put this one on your list of most visits if you want seriously good coffee.
Best coffee option near penn station, opens early. Plus lots of outlets. They were out of tres leches so I got dulce de leche instead. It was good—but the horchata was DIVINE! Shout out Cindy for beautiful latte art & kind energy ☺️
FINALLY a good coffee! Brenda and her team are super friendly and create such a welcoming atmosphere. We’d been searching for a good coffee for five days, and after visiting this place, we can finally say — we found it! Delicious coffee, cozy vibes, and the perfect spot to take a break from the busy city. If you’re looking for a great coffee within walking distance of Madison Square Garden, this is the place to go! ☕💛
Stopped in here spontaneously and am so happy that I did. When you choose a latte, they have you choose which beans you want. I had the RumChata, which was so excellent!! I also grabbed a fresh quesito for a snack. I’ll be back!
787 Coffee in New York truly feels like home. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The Puerto Rican Christmas music creates such a cozy, festive vibe that instantly makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy great coffee while feeling connected to culture and community. The space is inviting, the energy is beautiful, and it’s perfect for hanging out, working, or just enjoying the moment. The photos I added capture that cozy feeling perfectly. Highly recommend if you’re looking for amazing coffee and a place that genuinely feels like home
Love this place! Coffee is delicious and they have this unique lattes with different flavors! The atmosphere is very nice, with diverse spots to sit, very kind attention. Good WiFi and comfortable for working in your laptop Today a customer played piano and it was lovely.
Chill coffee shop with great espresso and plenty of areas to relax or work in. Big fan of the Coquito latte. Love the mix of coconut and cinnamon. Their chicken empanadas are a delicious snack. Love the tables up on the second floor. Super chill and I got to spend a couple hours working there. Will definitely be back! Now for my standard comments. Location is pretty clean and well kept. Very comfortable and kind of homey in a way.
Got the coquito latte iced. Happy to support this local store. Options are available to select different beans. Two storeys of seating is available. Cosy and nicely designed atmosphere. Loved it!
Taking shelter from the storm in this urban oasis was the BEST idea. Music playing in the background and warmth all around, the coffee was to die for!! William, the barista, was kind and welcoming and most importantly made some amazing drinks! There is plenty of seating on two levels as well!
absolutely 10/10, great environment for getting work done as well as getting coffee with a friend. amazing wifi, outlets everywhere + a restroom which in a midtown coffee shop is a very appreciated plus. the second floor has great long meeting tables, bean bags, and a pool table if that’s what ur into lol. staff is the absolute sweetest 🩷🩷
The mocha was really rich in taste - with the whiskey beans. Highly recommend this one! They’ve locked down a good balance in their cookies too. 10/10 would recommend. Special shout out to Williams for hosting me. Cheers!
The moment I walked in here I felt like I was stepping into the island of Puerto Rico! It was so welcoming and peaceful. The shop is full of beautiful art and quotes that make it more than just any coffee shop. Now for the coffee: it was amazing. I had the Coquito coffee with whiskey brew—it was spectacular!
GREAT! 787 just happened to be across the street from a great drum shop and I was thirsty at just the right moment. The coffee’s great, the people are great (Thank you, William!), and the place has a the perfect vibe to it! The whiskey-infused iced coffee was perfect - really good coffee with balanced sweetness from a touch of vanilla. Perfection!
I love it here!! Such a cute spot with good vibes and even better coffee. The staff is super friendly and gives great recommendations. There are various table set ups from more cozy chairs to working tables with an abundance of outlets. Definitely will come here again when I am in NYC
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! Their coffee is absolutely amazinggg and sooo smooth. I took home some of their coffee beans (of course not as good as they make it) and it made such a difference in my at home coffee routine! My favorite is their Coquito coffee!!
Meant to write a review sooner but I forgot. I would give this place 100 stars for hospitality if I could. I was visiting NYC during the New Year, and I was battling an egregious case of food poisoning on my last day. Checked out of the hotel and with nowhere to go for six hours, this place became my haven for my weary self. I didn't even divulge what I was going through, but the feminine employee with the butterfly tattoo on their left hand said I could use the bathroom, drink the free tap water, and stay as long as I needed -- free of charge. Obviously I bought something later 😅 but the kindness was a blessing. Every customer I saw seemed to enjoy this place and I also enjoyed the delicious banana bread once I was steady enough to hold down food. So thank you very much to the employee -- you were my savior that day -- and I'm so sorry for blowing up y'all's bathroom like a dozen times and low-key passing out in the chair back there. The hospitality and non-judgemental nature of this place is a rare sight in this selfish world. I will definitely come back to this place if I visit NYC again, and I will soon be legal enough to try most of the menu 😅 much love 🤍
Absolutely loved this special secret gem! It was my first time here, visiting with my friend, and we instantly fell in love!! The vibes are impeccable, especially their upper seating area!!! I was so impressed with the top quality service we received from Sydney and BeBe and the coffee is absolutely delicious!!! It may have been the best latte I’ve had in NYC YET!!! I will definitely be back again and couldn’t recommed more!!!
We recently had a retirement party for over 200 people here, from the very beginning, figuring out what was best for our sized party the management could not have made it easier for us. Through their experience, they navigated us to which package would be best for us and when the night itself came around, it was pure perfection. The staff were incredibly proficient, like a well oiled machine. They were patient and friendly and always on hand to refresh drinks and offer food. Everybody at the party commented on the amazing service, the food and ambience and what an unbelievable party it turned out to be…. So thank you Helen and the staff for all of your hard work, we felt in safe hands throughout, and our party was a fabulous success.
Great food tastes even better with attentive, friendly service. The vibe here makes an impression. Employees are remarkably kind and accommodating, serving food rapidly. The food I selected was tasty throughout. I can't wait to return to this place.
Their meals satisfy in ways that keep you thinking about them. This place offers quality dining. The level of service here is remarkable. Each plate sampled has been satisfying. Nice performance! I'll be back!
I made an impromptu visit while handling business nearby. Staff accommodates dietary needs without fuss. The portions justify the menu prices. The place creates a nice atmosphere. This place delivers consistently excellent food.
This was our first stop after we left our hotel near Madison Square Garden. The service was kinda slow, but they were busy. We shared an order of fish n chips, and it was amazing. It had nice and crispy batter, and they had proper chips. The tarter sauce was good also. We shared an order of pretzel sticks, and the honey mustard was so good. This is definitely a place we will be trying again before we leave Manhattan.
The host Eimear was so friendly and helpful making sure our stay was comfortable. Alanna was our waitress and she gave a great recommendation, checked in regularly, and was really nice. The atmosphere is laid back and looks elegant at the same time. Our food was so delicious and the drinks were perfect. Zero complaints. We saved this location as a favorite and will definitely be back.
Such a nice place inside! The decor, merchandise, and seating was very cute. I ordered the coquito coffee and it was $8, they do not tell you about the regular espresso so they try to get you to spend an extra $3. The coffee is in a bag and $8. It was very busy and took a long time to order. They also have two bathrooms
Update Oct, 2025: I just had to post an update because my wife and I ate here again on a Saturday night before a concert at RCMH after taking a train to Penn Station. (It's steps away from the 8th and 31st exit.) The bar was lightly busy and we sat next to it. But once again our experience was great. The wait staff were very pleasant and attentive, my wife's burger was once again fantastic (so fresh and juicy) and on a whim I got the chicken tikka masala with rice dish and it was delicious (just a little spicy but not "hot", perfect to my taste). I have no idea if half the patrons to this bar try the food but it's so far above standard pub fair I feel the kitchen easily competes with some of the better "american" style restaurants in a sea of NYC options. If you don't mind a bit of a louder pub atmosphere, and you may be able to ask to be seated upstairs where it's a little bit quieter, I can't recommend the dining enough. Original review, Oct, 2024: We stopped in for an early dinner before a concert at MSG across the street. Food was a notch way above pub fare. We ate light because we couldn’t take leftovers but the burger was fantastic, Margherita flatbread was tasty, and the wings were delicious. The atmosphere got a little loud as it got more crowded but what one would expect on a Friday evening. I think this is the family’s new spot for dining near The Garden and we look forward to trying some of their main courses.
Awesome Irish bar, serving bar fares with a quick manner. Food came out quick and beers flowed freely. We had the good time. The wings were decent, the hash and egg was rich and tasty, and the chicken sandwich was crispy and juicy. Our waiter took care of us, kept us hydrated the entire time. A must stop if you catch a game at the garden....
A cool place with lots of seating. Eclectic furniture on the first and second floors. I would come here way more often if it weren’t for their strange pricing. When you order a latte, they make you choose from one of the three specialty beans, even when you didn’t ask for it. It adds $3 to the bill. Plus their pastry (which appears to be their only food option?) costs $8 for a small puff pastry. There was no price tag for that. After staying there for a couple of hours and ordering two lattes and two small pastries, I ended up paying almost $40. As much as I think it’s a cool hangout space, I honestly wonder who can afford that. 😭
Came here for a Knicks game and it was very lively without being too crowded which was great! Had their Magners cider on tap which was fine and the bottled pear cider which was good. Food wise, tried the chicken quesadilla which was kinda disappointing. Felt like it was just chicken in a tortilla with barely any cheese, some bites had like no cheese in it and the chicken itself wasnt very flavorful. I wouldve appreciated some dipping sauce to go with it too.
7/10/24 Had not be here for some time. But went for lunch today with a friend. Sally our waitress greeted us with a beautiful smile and was very friendly and great! Ambiance food deco music is really nice. Thank you for making our stay a good one. Went to Tír na Nóg for the first with a friend. It was not empty there were only two servers. Food was good, Ambience was nice. Service was slow. When we finished we had to wait because one server was on the business call and the other on the other side attending others customers. When I signaled her to pay she signaled back so that I could get the attention of the server that was on the phone. So, I signaled both of them. I was a bit disappointed with the service. But, we try it another time to see if the service is better.
It's a cozy and comfortable place to enjoy a nice drink and food. The low lighting is fairly relaxing, and the booths were comfortable to sit in. I came for a short stay but got to try out the pan roasted chicken, which was served with some nice assortment of vegetables (See Pic). The chicken had a nice crust to it, but overall, it was on the drier side, especially towards the middle. It's not that big of a deal as the vegetables and light sauce that came with it made up for the dryness. I came early I'm the day so I can't speak much on the nightlife scene.
I visited your establishment this evening and ordered the Fish and Chips. Although the exterior of the fish seemed acceptable, the batter inside was uncooked. I brought this to the attention of my server, who graciously offered an alternative dish. I respectfully declined and instead requested that the item be removed from my bill, which he kindly agreed to. So I ordered a coffee and waited for my friends to finish eating. Then they told us management wouldn't change the bill, and we had to pay for a dish we didn't consume. We were wondering how you guys managed to get the food out so quickly... unfortunately I found out how.
I went here after a Knicks game with my family for some drinks. I went to the women’s bathroom and there were 2 grown men using the bathroom with the door open. A man using the bathroom was telling the men that it was wrong they were using the women’s bathroom, with the door open while they were exposed. The men started confronting the other man and trying to fight him to the point they had to be held back. Once I contacted the manager the manager did absolutely NOTHING and was actually defending the men. Do not go to this bar unless you want to be harassed by grown men and the manager as well. They deserve NO business
This place has a beyond average food what you expect for a restaurant near MSG but the workers are incredibly rude. I have never experienced such blatant disrespect and discrimination. Do not waste your time there are plenty of restaurants where the employees are respectful
