Our customers rave about the quality of our Neapolitan-style pies, especially the Trifecta - a classic combination of fresh mozzarella, parmesan, and basil that never fails to hit the spot. We've got limited seating, but we're always happy to grab a quick pie on-the-go or linger over a slice (or two) with friends.

I recommend! The pizza has a nice crispy, the dough is perfect! The sauce was amazing. The right amount of grease (if you’re from NYC you know that makes a good pizza) it was freshly made. The Garlic knots was super soft and so good.
It's a good NY pizza by the slice place. We ate here while waiting for Grant's Tomb to open. Slices are kind of pricey but also very big. Recommended.
the best cheeses pizza i ever had in nyc
The dough and toppings are (almost) always so fresh! Unlike many pizzerias, Trufa puts a very generous amount of veggies on their veggie pizzas. The eggplant slice they do is addictive.
XL Ultimate Veggie pie was quite tasty. Fast, friendly service. Happy to see a new spot open in the neighborhood!

This pizza is one of the best you can try in NY. Especially the margarita. Cool people and nice folklore latin music always in the background. If you need only a slice, keep in mind; minimum $10 charge for electronic transactions.
As a native New Yorker, I don’t know what all the complaining in other reviews is about. I had a regular slice and it was great. Thin, crisp crust that didn’t sag with a nice tart sauce and perfectly good cheese. Service was super friendly, if just slightly slow. Yes, at $3.75 it was a little more than I expected, but has anyone heard about inflation? And the slice was very good sized. About those reviews upset about the minimum credit card, grow up and get some cash.
A cut above the typical NY slice. Good variety and generous toppings. Their vodka sauce is AMAZING! Staff is friendly and service is quick. They have an amazing selection of deserts too! Orders under $10 incur a fee when paying with plastic.
Great pizza the price was really good
New pizzeria which replaced Tom's. The workers are friendly and the offerings are varied from pizza to pasta. I've had two of their pasta dishes, the Chicken Alfredo and their Spaghetti with Olive Oil and Chicken respectively. I haven't tried their pizza offerings yet and plan on trying it soon. Their customer service is excellent, and they went as far as calling me back with a substitution dish.
My favorite delivery pizza in NYC. There's places to sit down for pies that are great, too, but delivery pizza is its own thing and Tom's is excellent. (They're also a great place to pick up a slice or two, which is also its own thing but more closely related to good delivery. It's a little bit about how the pizza reheats, but that's not the only thing. Some places with great takeaway slices are terrible for delivery. Tom's is good for both.)
Their grandma slice is unmatched. Moved out of the neighborhood and think about this place often.
The pizza is great and the people that work there are super nice.

I was so sad when Tom’s left, but I was delighted to discover that this pizzeria was pretty darn good! I had pepperoni and Hawaiian pizza. Both were delicious and not overly greasy. In addition, staff was very friendly. This neighborhood pizzeria definitely has my stamp of approval!

Trufa Pizzeria is a great spot to grab a slice of pizza in NYC. The garlic knots are definitely a standout, with a fluffy and soft texture that melts in your mouth. They are definitely worth trying, especially if you're a fan of garlic. The pizza itself is a good standard NYC pizza, which means it's pretty darn good. The crust is thin and crispy, while the toppings are tasty and flavorful. While it may not be the most unique or inventive pizza in the city, it definitely hits the spot when you're craving a classic slice.
Trufa Pizzeria Layout/atmosphere *Five tables, TV; cake display below pizza display Food/drink *Regular slice - Good; flop but some crisp on crust; sauce not sweet *Red velvet cake - Good; moist (don’t think it’s made in-house)

Do they have a terrible staff? Yes. Do they make great pizza? For anywhere in the 20 block radius, the answer is yes! Don't rely on delivery unless you spell the order out like you were teaching toddlers, but the food quality is consistently above average, and has been for a while. Recommended.
Now this is Harlem pizza I can get behind. Beautiful quality cheese, sauce, & crust make a highly satisfying regular slice, w/ a sausage slice for good measure & additional flavor. I wouldn't doubt if Trufa was about as well esteemed as Patsy's! I must admit that I'd walked past this place several times before noticing it.

Went in to try the cheese slice and it was $2.50. Couldn't pay with credit card. I think you need to spend $7 before you can use credit. The slice isn't even that big to cost so much. I know $1 pizza the tastes better. Not worth the price at all. Didn't have any flavor to me. I had to add seasonings. It's edible if it was the only option but I wouldn't return. Besides the service sucks. I got a burnt pizza and when I mentioned it, nothing was done to give me a better slice of discount. Just attitude and no apology. They shouldn't even be serving burnt pizza at all.

I FOUND GLASS IN MY FOOD!!! 😡😡😡 I have NEVER visited this pizzeria before as it was suggested by my dear friend of mine who lives in the area. As a first timer, I was COMPLETELY TURNED OFF! And EXTREMELY UPSET. I ordered a slice with black olives and waited a good 10minutes to receive the pizza for myself and another slice for my friend. They did not accept Apple Pay unless you spent $10 or more. I would have NEVER expected this from a restaurant that seemed cleaned and was graded an “A” by the department of health. The guys that were present tonight barely had a reaction when I brought it back for a full refund and barely gave a sincere apology. I would HIGHLY suggest to NEVER eat from this pizzeria! I would NEVER eat from here again and will not be RECOMMENDING it to anyone. THIS PLACE DESERVES TO BE SHUT DOWN! You are responsible for public and what you feed them and should be EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS of what you are doing in the kitchen. #neveragain
Mediocre pizza, way too expensive, and slow service. Go somewhere else, this place is a rip off. $3.75 for a plain slice, $4.25 for pepperoni, over $5 for a lot of other slices? Ridiculous. High minimum to use a credit card too. It was $10 last time I popped in, and they raise it periodically.
