My husband grew up down the street from joes pizza and ate there most of his life, unfortunately due to distance he hasnt been able to go in the last 10 years. We just moved back to the area and tonight we decided to have a plain pie and wings from joes. My husband says its just how he remembers it 10 years ago. And from a first time customer, the pizza is amazing and is definitely in my top 3 pizza places ive been to.

What can I say about Joe's Pizza...actually quite a lot. I can remember when this business first started decades ago in a little shop next to then Lou Campi / Pat Tarsio lanes. A happy face and great pizza is what you found when you went in, now decades later and just up the street from where it all started you can enjoy that same friendly service and great pizza again only better because of thier years worth of experience and continued improvements. Your food quickly and with a smile for a good price. That's quite a good experience in my book.

The food is very good! If you like egg salad sandwiches then this place hands down has the BEST!! All of their food is great! Everyone is also very nice.

Been looking for a place to get good pizza and this place was recommended by a friend. Food was great . Service was even better. I was having a bad day and Molly was the young lady that helped me and she couldn’t have been nicer to me and the other customers . She’d definitely be one of the main reasons I’d come back .

This is another pizza place I go to for any type of pizza. My wife loves their eggplant parm. She says it is one of the best eggplant parm sandwiches she has ever had. Their meatball parm are good as well. The owners and the workers are great people to know.

Don't be fooled by the business name, this place is way more than just a pizza place... it's also a full-fledged deli. You can get your pizza as well as a sub, and the sandwiches are made with top-shelf Boar's Head cold cuts. Beer, soda, chips, everything you'd want for lunch or dinner is here, and the prices are very reasonable. There are also two small dining areas if you prefer to sit down and eat, and the cheerful staff will serve you too. The only regret I have is that I ignored this place too long. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

The pizza has amazing crispy crust, and they are very large pizza slices for the price. Their sandwiches are very filling and well made. The servers are friendly. The sitting area inside is a tad cramped and small, but it's a nice place for a pizza lunch.

Joe's is city pizza in the Hudson Valley. It's the best in Orange County. Most shops taste and look the same. The taste at Joe's stands out and can rival Greenwich Village, Brooklyn and Bronx pizzerias any day ( the other two boroughs not really a fan of their pizza.... just a personal choice). If you want consistent reliable service and quality then this is your place and you can't beat the deals, economically you get your monies worth. You won't be disappointed. I grew up near Yankee Stadium and moved up here with my children . It's been almost 20 years and Joe's doesn't disappoint . It's just such a great local place. Hes a smart man (Penn alum) with a great family, that makes an excellent pizza.Check them out you'll be glad you did!!

I've been going to Joe's for as long as I can remember...and there us a good reason for that! They're absolutely epic! From the owners, to their staff and most importantly, the food! There is almost nothing better to me than a fresh pie from here! Their meatball parms, antipasto, sandwiches...all around the BEST! Hands down THE BEST pizza spot and deli in our area. Excellent slices, awesome wings, and the best sandwiches anywhere. It’s my go-to stop any time I’m anywhere remotely close. Oh, and it’s family owned and operated. The most down to earth and friendly people you’ll meet. It’s a win-win and I recommend them to everyone.

Firstly, everyone in the establishment was very welcoming and polite (and safely wearing masks, due to covid). I got a roast beef hero/wedge (the "PM"). It was absolutely delicious. The bread was very fresh, the roast beef was just right- and so was the price. I would absolutely stop by again when I'm in the area. My co workers also enjoyed their sandwiches, and pizza.

I love purchasing food from this fabulous Deli. Their sandwiches are exceptional and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating.

We are staying in a hotel for 2 nights and Joe's was the closest pizza place to us. Awesome pizza, and they had beer too which saved us a lot of money over buying it at the hotel! We liked it so much, we ordered Italian food our second night which did not disappoint! If we're in the area again, we'll be back.

I drive from Cornwall and pass probably a dozen pizzeria on the way to Joe's. Great subs and the best meatballs around. Service is great. Only trouble is the dishes I've ordered were so good that I keep reordering the same 4 or 5 items and never get to try the rest of their extensive menus.

Stooped here for a quick pizza. Very Italian style place, good food, takeout service, not sure if they deliver. Cozy seating setup, most people had ordered ahead and were picking up their orders. Popular local pizzeria, well attended by regulars, family style atmosphere. Good to stop at.

I was passing through Newburgh and needed lunch, so this was a bit of a blind stab - but as soon as I got in, I knew I picked right. All the work trucks started rolling in behind me, full of people the staff knew by name. This place was legit, and the cheese steak I got confirmed it. It's clean, portions are huge, and the staff worked in lockstep to get things out quick.

First time order delivery. The best sauce in then Newburgh area. A repeat customer for life! Glad I tryed someone new!

Joe’s makes the best Veggie Sub on the planet. I’m not typically a veggie sandwich kind of gal, but someone raved about it to me and it is the only menu I item have tried..and I’ve been about 5 times now. Absolutely love this place! My kids and I hit it up when we are the area for their gluten free pizza and it’s incredible! Actual house-made crust at a very affordable price. So many pizza joints will serve a 9-inch Udi’s frozen crust and charge $25 before toppings. Here they have a nice fluffy house made crust 12 inch pizza, got two pies with a couple of toppings each and 3 sodas and paid $39. Such a good deal! The sauce is great, delicious pizza. Staff is incredibly friendly. A true pleasure to stop in when we can!

My father use to take me here as a kid. besides the Penn state memorabilia not there I found out the original owner is still there. Better than most pizza I get in the state of Florida where I currently live. Highly recommend !

I’ve been going to Joes ever since I was little, and that’s about 36 years now. However, they are hit and miss at times. But I feel that goes with any food place and who makes your food. I do agree their customer service can be better, as they have gotten our orders wrong plenty of times. Rather than finding a solution they have hung up on us as well. I understand around lunchtime and dinner time on some nights they are extremely busy. But it doesn’t excuse the fact or give the ok to mess up orders or not. You never know if someone has a food allergy to something. Not only that we are paying you to make our food the way that we want it. I do hope eventually they’ll grasp hold of their customer service skills when it does come to problem solving. Any other time they’re a very friendly home business who I will still support.

I just recently started ordering from Joe's. My son loves their Chicken Parm. Prices are comparable to other places. Note they aren't open Sundays.

Joe's usually had the best sub sandwiches. But this time one the the sandwiches was incorrect and it didn't have all the cold cuts it was suppose to have on it. The other sandwich was thin an very messy. First time I can say it was disappointing.

The pizza and customer service on the phone was 10/10 the delivery on the other hand.. I won't rate it. I was quoted half an hour, and an hour later the delivery guy rolled up with my delicious pizza. Great job on preparation, and production. Has room for improvement in delivery times. Thank you guys. Keep working hard.

Based on the food i would give them 5 stars but their delivery and organization is a mess. Been waiting for 2 hours, called 3 times and each time the "driver is on the way". I used their website to " support" but you are better off giving your money to grubhub or uber and get your food in a timely fashion.

I'm really not sure how this place is like four and a half stars. Peppers and sausage, and it has like has no flavor. I just got a couple slices told them to you know really Brown it up make crispy. No it came out just barely warm.. so said we can't find good pizza up here

Stopped by for the very first time ever. Ordered a plain slice of pizza. It was as bland as could be. No taste at all. Not an pinch of salt anywhere on that food. I'm definitely not coming back

Long story short: Ordered food via their website July 4th which accepted my funds but, apparently they weren’t open. That being said - didn’t receive the food but was out almost $50 After multiple phone calls (3) and attempts to recoup the lost funds, I was told the charge was “rejected” by them so it’ll be back in my account. Here we are 7 days later .. no money has been returned. Sucks being a regular customer ($200-250 / mo) at this establishment- the food is good and the service is normally friendly. However, after this, I won’t be back.

We hoped to split a mushroom and garlic pizza, but the mushrooms were canned so we just ordered a garlic pizza for pickup. They said 20 minutes. We got there in 15. It was ready. But another customer said he was waiting an hour. The pizza was large and decent, but unimpressive. No real flavor. I'll try another place next time. No reason to return.

I ordered a sausage pizza and wings. The pizza was very good but the wings were horrible. I think they fried them twice. They were very dry and hard. The sauce was tasty but the wings was very dry. I called to make a complaint and the young lady didn't offer a replacement or any compensation for these horrible wings. She said next time ask that they not fry them so hard.

Very dissapointed my husband ordered an extra large sausage pizza. Unfortunately he didn't look at the pizza and they made it with pepperoni instead. Both my husband can't eat pepperoni. They refused to replace the pizza pie. They insisted that he ordered pepperoni. They argued with him and told him they would have to pay for another pizza. I guess they don't care to please their customers. Never again will we order from Joe's Pizza.

I have given this place a few chances and consistently end up waiting 2 hours or more for the food which ends up being cold. The wings were soggy and gross the fried ravioli was burnt and soggy from sitting in the car for 50 mins. The pizza was gross. Never again.

Unless you want your order with a side of flies, stay away from Joe's Pizza. I was so surprised that the workers were not concerned with the number of flies (about 12-15) that were landing on the food that was left out everywhere. This place is a health code violation!

Ordered chicken parm and Italian combo told it would be 20-25 min. Ok not a problem. 10 min later the cook calls chicken parm. I shook my head looked at the owners daughter at counter and she takes sandwich puts on top of oven. So I guessed my cold sub wasn't ready. I wait 20 more min and still nothing. I go up to ask if that a was a problem. She said we called u. I said no u didn't you said the chicken parm was ready and I sat there directly in front of them as they walked passed me and served other customers never telling me my whole order was ready. The owner never apologized just saying it wasn't his fault. Customer service is not priority to this business. Only to their regulars. I do not recommend going if you are not a regular. The 1 star is that the food was at least good.

Tonight I ordered a Ruben hero from the online menu on my phone at the counter while in Joe's. My sister asked if they had menus and was told just online! The online menu for a Ruben lists cornbeef, pastrami, swiss, sauerkraut...when I got home there was no pastrami on the sandwich, just cornbeef. When I called the young woman asked if I ordered online. I explained and she insisted I was incorrect.The meat choice was either or..and of course when I placed the order they did not ask which I perferred. Online menu indicates both meats. Then she decided to look it up and said I was correct! My choice would be pastrami. At first she offered a credit but after speaking to the owner was told if the order was not place online you get what the store offers on their menu (what menu?). This is after of course they only have oline menus. LOL. This is not the first time they messed up my order! My advice don't go to Joe's. To make a long story short...Joe's establishment would rather lie and lose a customer instead of pleasing the customer! In my opinion the rating is "0" for customer service and attitude!!

Food is great. The delivery service sucks. I ordered over an hour ago and still no food. Driver called said he has to change his tire. Took over an hour to finally get the cold pizza, soggy wings, garlic knots with all the sauce dumped out in the bag, and warm soda. Then the total came out to way more than it should've been with the coupon that was supposedly used. Will never order from here again too much money for crappy food.

Where do I start, Ordered something while waited in line for eternity, guess I was being overlooked, looks like a lot of locals have perks that randoms like me dont have. After receiving my food with a side of attitude I was told a different price. Very dishonest and rude environment, dont know if that was the owner, but jesus, If you dont have customer service, close shop and do something online. COMPLETELY RUDE. this is now the 5th time IN A ROW they got my order wrong. OHHH and he absolutely refused to give a refund for it. so after waiting almost 2 hours, we are now waiting for hopefully the right order, with people waiting inside for it. they may have been here forever, and idk what has happened, but stay away now. they arent worth the hassle. Rude as hell on the phone too.

I will never order food from here again I ordered wings an 2 Two liters soda an a Coffee cake at the time ordering. And I was delivered to little soda's and a cupcake frozen cupcake at that The cupcake had more frozen than cupcake and it was frozen. I will never order from them again. They just seem to be getting greedy for money because when I called, they could have stated that they did not have those items and I would not have order. I'm never, ordering ever again from here. And a cupcake had hair on it.

Buyer beware. I ordered $75 dollars worth of food tonight. Took an hour and a half to deliver. When I called they said the driver was on his way took another twenty minutes for them to arrive. Food was cold looked like they heated up leftovers. Called to complain. They answered the phone and were rude. Put me on hold a guy got on the phone and when I told him I was Upset with the food and needed to be compensated he began cursing and yelling. Told me there was nothing he could do. And hung up the phone. I called back and the lady put me on hold. Got back on the phone and told me I needed to wait for the driver to come back and put me on hold. The driver gets on the phone and told me he had other deliveries and had to drive slow I told Him I want my money back the other man got on the phone and told me there was nothing he could do. Hung up. I called back the lady told me they were busy she would take a message. I told her she needed to put them on the phone. He got back on the phone and told me he can’t help how long it took. I told him I was bringing his food back. He said he was closing. I told him make sure he stayed open because I want my money back. We arrived with the food he looked at it and said oh wow that’s the drivers fault. He went back and forth but then finally gave me the money back. Don’t order from them ever. Stay far away from there. Calling the better business bureau for sure. Shame on them tons of the same kinds of reviews. Terrible customer service. SHAME ON YOU! Zero stars

Called at 402pm and placed an order for pasta Alfredo with chicken and fried ravioli, was told it would be 40 minutes for delivery. Called again at 522 pm to check where the food was, and was told it just left. Food got here at 540pm. Asked driver if the food was cold and he said no. Feel of the container it was warm. Unload the bags, and there was no fork, (so I get to eat with my fingers). Get fork from the hotel I am at ( thank you Marriott). Took bite and chicken was cold. That is just wrong. Called and talked to manager, he was like it snowed, this is a dusting of snow still not an answer to why it was hour and 40 minutes to get food. At least he said he was refunding my card, believe it when I see it. I did tip drive a five. Come to find out I was not delivered first even after calling to find out where the food was.

I truly wish I could give a better rating. Their customer service and accuracy of ANY order I have ever put in has a lot of room for improvement. And I've tried repeatedly to give 'another chance'. My experience with their actual food has been much better than my experience with their problem solving. This last time being the worst. Got home, discovered the order was incorrect (again), called to see what could be done and was told to come back (over a 10 min drive). I offered to meet a delivery person half way even - was told no. With no other solution offered and not even an apologetic goodbye as the phone got hung up on me. Shame on you Joe's Pizza.

Imagine placing an order for delivery at 6pm for sandwiches and calling at 745 asking what’s going on, getting the response “we are busy”. Then she says “the delivery driver will be back and then deliver yours “ so I say “how long has my order been ready??” And she says “it’s sitting on the oven “. It’s been almost TWO hours and it’s a sandwich ??? Why would I want it after that long ? Unreal.

WORST service I've ever experienced. For some reason I never get acknowledged as if I'm a ghost not 1time but the last 3 times I've gone to this place. Sad to say I have hope everytime for better service but it's just not in anyone in there. My last experience will be my very last hope after the girl took a phone order right in front of me and I'm staring at her but not once she looked at me nor my son to help us and this isn't the first time my first experience was when a guy standing 2 feet behind me ordered before me and not only that; I had to remind the lady why I was there and then ask if my order was ready because people were in and out after 30 minutes of me waiting. I WILL NEVER SPEND A PENNY IN THIS PLACE.

Very rude especially the manager they lie and do not take accountability for their actions I ordered a large pie wings garlic knots and a drink , my food came an our late and I was giving them the benefit of the doubt due to it being a Saturday night . My pizza was freezing cold my garlic knots rock hard and my wings cold like they have been sitting in the fridge I then noticed my drink wasn’t here and I was just going to heat up my food when they came back with my drink when i got my drink it was so hot I ordered a 2 liter soda why was it hot? So I called for a refund and the manager was cursing and told me to never call back they are so rude I would not recommend!

I have been going here for years, and the food is usually always good. However, I called and ordered a sub and when I got home I realized it wasn’t what I ordered… I called them at 7:15 to let them know they didn’t get the order correct and they told me they would have it delivered and that it would probably be an hr… I called at 8:43 and I was told that the driver had left and should be here shortly… it was never delivered. I was at a friends house and stayed longer waiting for a sub that never came. The customer service is horrendous. I’m not sure if they just lied about remaking it or what but with how they handled things tonight and previous issues… it’s not even worth ordering from here anymore unfortunately.

Placed an order online it was scheduled for an hour later which is acceptable. 10 minutes late I called. They said he’s on his way. (It’s 8 minutes away). Standing outside for 20 minutes and he’s still not here.

I will say food is good but the owners are some of the rudest people you will ever meet. I work for a school and worked with them for a giveback night. I called back a few months later to inquire about possible donations for prizes for a retirement party and the owner was so rude and told me teachers make entirely way too much money and don’t deserve any type of donation. A simple no thank you would have been appropriate. I was also hung up on and told he wished he made a teacher salary. Meanwhile we provided this establishment a lot of business and promotion through the school. They lost a ton of teachers this evening due to outright rudeness.

Do not order from here. I used their online ordering system which says they deliver in a 6-mile radius. The website let me complete the transaction and charged me in full. I got an email saying that the order was rejected but didn't say why or whether I would be refunded. I called the restaurant and the woman working there said that the order was rejected because my address is “too far away”. I looked it up and the restaurant is only 4 miles from my apartment. When I said that, she stuttered and just kept saying it was too far. She said they only deliver in the town of Newburgh and not the city. I expressed that that is messed up because the website doesn’t mention anything about specific neighborhoods and only a six-mile radius, which I fit into. I went on to explain that it’s not cool that the website let me place my order and charged me if they were never going to accept my order. So now I have to wait multiple days for a refund when they could’ve saved me the trouble by just posting a notice on their website or rejecting my order before it went through. The woman I spoke to was apologetic but also disinterested in hearing what I had to say. She just kept repeating the same lie of me being too far away and then said she doesn’t make the rules and didn’t offer to make up for their mistake in any way. I feel like this is more about the neighborhood I live in and the reputation it has rather than the distance and that feels discriminatory. I will never be giving this place my business again and neither should you.

Placed an order for delivery, I was told it would take 45 to 50 minutes. I live 5 minutes from the restaurant , the food was iced cold. I called to inquire and a very rude gentleman got on the on phone would not let me speak, talked over me. He told me my sub should be cold, I guess fries should be as well and "hot" steak sandwiches. They also stated that "we (Joe's Pizza) are very fortunate that we are busy and delivery takes over an hour." I totally understand that they are busy and understand "it won't be as hot as out of the oven". However, the 1 1/2 delivery would have been ignored if food wasn't ruined. I've been doing business with them since I moved in to the area 20+ years ago. The food has always been great, however the attitude I got in the phone was unexceptable. I am disappointed by the food and lack of service.

This is the third time I’ve ordered and received attitude from the front girl answering the phones. I know how crazy it gets I worked in the pizzeria industry so I get it but I never snapped or answered people rudely. This particular time that I order I heard them actually ask if my order was “enough” to deliver than when I needed to give a credit card another gasp. I was told 35-40 minutes at 5:10. I honestly understood their frustration so I wasn’t bothered immediately. But when I called to check to see if they had left I got attitude from the front girl telling me were really busy so he should be there soon. Which in content sounds nice but it wasn’t I hung up on her. Than I got a knock and it was my food and they had no credit card receipt! Just the order paper! I’m Like ummm how do I know what I will be charged so I can give an appropriate tip? So I had to call while this poor driver stood in the cold and told the amount over the phone and had to hand write the total plus tip and sign a random paper and hope they don’t change it. I have been and my family has been loyal customers for awhile now and im so disgusted with how things have been lately some needs to teach the front girl manners and never let an order leave with out running the cars to give a receipt to your customer!

This place has horrible customer service. They overcharged me more than I order. The lady said “oh sorry I overcharged you $5.”. Meanwhile it was really almost 10. Then hung up the phone. She tried to make us feel stupid when that wasn’t right. Also claimed another lady took the order but also no other females there. Will not go back. Do not recommend.

I live 4 miles away and waited 2 hour's for a cold pizza and cold and chewy poppers, worst I ever had, will definitely not be ordering again.
