My go-to is the breakfast burrito with bacon and extra chili (the burrito can be on the dry side unless you get extra chili). Born and Raised in Newhall I grew up coming here and I try to show all my friends from outta town jimmy deans! But I recently took some friends and the burgers were very plain tasted like no seasoning at all I don’t want to bash or talk bad about a place I came to growing up please can we get some T.L.C with the food like I remember
Quiet and the register made wonderful food choices. First time visitor and new to SCV this was delicious.
Since eating here I have moved to a different country, and I may never return to the United States again. Losing this place is by far my biggest grievance with that. I have repeatedly ranked it the best hamburger I've had in my life, and I will probably keep saying it forever. Don't miss it for the world 🥲
I always get my food at the drive thru and it goes by fairly quick. The service is always very welcoming. The burgers and zucchini fries are always a must they’re really good. This little spot is solid even for breakfast burritos!
Every time I come here the service is fast, the staff is kind, and the food is great. I have had quite a few items but my regular go to is their lean scramble. They serve it all day which makes it very convenient to get a quick healthy meal.

Considering the time of our visit after thinking of SCV’s casual eateries, we ended up at this casual place and it didn’t disappoint!!! With a big family and taste buds to satisfy, this place was able to accommodate everyone’s craving through their huge menu selection! The owner was taking orders patiently as we decided and even recommended a couple of items, which turned out to be good calls. The price was reasonable; the food was hot and plenty; the service was excellent! A minimal northbound drive away from the local amusement park, but worth it in comparison to the other fast food places.

Nice spot to stop and eat, only came here once while passing through. I got the avocado bacon cheeseburger which was good but the patty was very thin and way too much lettuce. Tomato was a very light shade of pink also and I just simply didn't eat it. I got onion rings which was a surprising amount and were pretty good with ranch. Use to be my go to with my mom for breakfast or lunch. Now it hasn't been the same. I use to love the extra crispy french fries with ranch dressing but now I get burnt or old tasting fries and one of the workers ...maybe a manager last wk when we dined in was rude to me and all because I asked for sunny side up eggs but not overcooked or burnt brown you know what I mean . This is an updated review. My previous review posted, "Always Good" However, recent visit I was very disappointed, medium Diet Coke $4.39, ordered side of ranch dressing paid .91¢ and never received it, which wouldn't have been a big deal until I saw my receipt and was charged for a misc. fee of $5.10. I was working that day and couldn't go back. Called Jimmy Dean's and the only answer, for miscellaneous fee, was the new iPad they were using to complete an order separates the tax. They also said they were getting a lot of calls about it... There was nothing to say what the misc. tax was for, it just appeared as a miscellaneous at the end of the receipt. Let them know that they never gave me the ranch dressing, he did apologize for that.

Had a regular sized breakfast burrito with bacon, no modifications. While the burrito flavor was overall good, the potato to other ingredient ratio was way off. They must have stuffed an entire potato in there and a much smaller amount of egg/bacon/chili. For $12.69 with tax I was disappointed with the overstuffing of cheap potato and skimping on other ingredients. Flavor good, ratio way off. Stop being cheap please.
Came here for the breakfast burrito, and this review is related only to the breakfast burrito. I ordered a chorizo and bacon breakfast burrito. Order was served fast, even before I could fix my drink. I was excited about this burrito because the reviews were good, and when we got the food the burrito was huge. Well, I won’t be back. The burrito was really heavy on the potato, couldn’t detect the chorizo because of the chili (?!) they put in a burrito, and the bacon flavor was non-existent. It was supposed to be a three egg burrito, but I highly doubt there was more than two. The green hot sauce was also disappointing at best with little flavor. The restaurant itself has been here since the late 60s and judging by the decor, it looks it. While the late 60s, early 70s vibe doesn’t bother me, the ceiling tiles that look like they haven’t been replaced in 50 years do. This place is more of a ‘greasy spoon’ type restaurant which is fine except the one dish I tried wasn’t that good. The people are great, good service, but I’d try something other than the breakfast burrito.

Terrible food and terrible service, used to be a fan back in the 1990s but over the years the quality of the food and service has taken a nose dive.
Almost $50 for two breakfast burritos, two drinks and two hash browns. They charged $6 extra for pastrami but didn't ask if that was okay. I will never eat here again.
