Absolutely loved our experience at Bombay Palace Eatery! Located just minutes from Niagara Falls, this place serves some of the best Indian food in the area. Every dish was rich in flavor, perfectly spiced, and served hot. The ambiance is welcoming and the staff is warm and attentive. It’s a great family-friendly restaurant, with a spacious seating area and options to please everyone—from mild to spicy. Highly recommend trying their butter chicken and garlic naan. This place is a must-visit if you're craving authentic Indian food near the Falls!

Absolutely loved the experience! The food was amazing—flavorful, fresh, and prepared with genuine care. The menu offered a wide variety of options, especially impressive for vegetarians. Each dish had a comforting, home-cooked feel that’s hard to find when you’re traveling. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the owner’s hospitality truly stood out—so welcoming and attentive, it instantly made us feel at home.

I recently dined at Bombay Palace in Niagara Falls and was thoroughly impressed. The Saag Paneer and Dal Makhani were exceptional, bursting with authentic flavors. The tandoor naan was freshly baked, hot, and delicious. It’s been a while since I’ve had such a satisfying meal. I’m delighted I chose this restaurant for lunch and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

This is a gem tucked away, a must try if you’re looking for delicious Indian cuisine. Love the buffet, it has a great selection of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. The spice level is not bad on the buffet with the option of adding heat on the side for those who wants a hotter experience. You have to try the mango lassi, it is the best I’ve had. The service is pleasant, the owner has a very jolly atmosphere about him and makes you feel very welcomed.

We got the lamb curry w/ rice and the Samosaand they were so good, well balanced and full of flavor! The restaurant was clean and quiet as we arrived possibly right after opening around 11. The restaurant had what sounded like mantra music playing for a relaxing environment and the staff were polite. We would go back the next time we take this trip to Niagara Falls.

Every time I come they give me ice water and I don't even have to ask. I love that! The crew is always very nice to me. The food is good. I'm too busy to come as much as I used to, but when I do I always leave happy. And as always... I'll BE BACK! :-)

This is the place to find north Indian comfort food! We got the buffet and everyone enjoyed it. Buffet also seems like the primary business model here so do recommend it over a-la-carte. Traveling with family who live in India so getting the quintessential Indian punjabi flavors while traveling was a treat. They especially loved the desserts.

I visited this place seeing the reviews online and was impressed with the food and service. The owner was so courteous and friendly, he made sure we had a great experience with the food. The foo was super delicious. They had buffet open for the whole day, however we decided to go for Alakarte. Next time whenever I will be back will try the buffet. I am sure it will be top notch .

During our recent trip to Niagara Falls, we stumbled upon a delightful restaurant that quickly became our go-to spot for both breakfast and lunch. The breakfast menu was a pleasant surprise, offering a range of flavorful Indian dishes. We indulged in crispy parathas, fluffy chole bhature, soft idlis, and perfectly crisp dosas. Each dish was authentic, delicious, and a wonderful way to start our day. For lunch, the restaurant offered a buffet that truly impressed us. The variety was incredible, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes that were flavorful and satisfying. What stood out the most was the assortment of naan bread served at our table, each one freshly baked and perfectly soft. It added an authentic touch to our meal, complementing the rich curries and other dishes. The dessert selection was the cherry on top of a fantastic dining experience. The kheer was creamy and had just the right amount of sweetness, while the gulab jamun was warm, soft, and absolutely divine. It was the perfect ending to our meals. Overall, this restaurant exceeded our expectations with its delicious food, variety, and warm service. If you’re in Niagara Falls and looking for a place to enjoy a satisfying meal, I highly recommend giving this place a try. We certainly will be returning on our next visit!

Indian joint close the falls. Very old property and with basic furniture. The lady greeting and sitting the guest has no smile on her face and working like a machine. We were seated, we started having our buffet, 10 mins later we had to call the lady to give us some water.

We were a bit wary because we prefer a 4.5+ rating for restaurants. But we decided to grab some take out as they were just a few minutes walk from our hotel. They did NOT disappoint! We ordered the butter chicken and palak paneer (both mild), chix tikka masala and chix 65 (both spicy) plus regular and garlic naan. OMG, everything was absolutely delicious! Each dish was super fresh, pleasantly aromatic, and generously sized. We've eaten at a myriad of Indian restaurants from Atlanta to Indiana to Maine to Virginia and everywhere in between. We have VERY HIGH expectations when it comes to cuisine. Bombay Palace Eatery not only met those expectations, but seriously exceeded them!

This is the restaurant you can trust for any meal. We were a family of 4 visiting for 5 days and we went here for almost all our meals! The owner/manager personally tastes each food item before serving it so that they make sure it meets the standard they have set! This level of meticulous dining experience along with authentic Indian flavors just makes it so much better. Totally recommended 👌 a must visit!

In reading the reviews I had to laugh. Seems people either really like it or they don't like it. As for me, I really like it. Bombay Palace has a lovely bright yellow storefront but the interior is stately and old world and clean. The ladies room could use a refresh on the lower half but that's the only negative I found. The service was fantastic and I have a couple things to say about service and about restaurants with buffets. First, most foreigners don't subscribe to fancy or European service styles and especially when a restaurant serves a buffet. I've never gone to a restaurant who serves a buffet and expected excellent service. You get one or the other but hardly ever both. If you're in a tourist area going to a buffet restaurant expecting excellent service you got on the wrong bus. I was greeted twice, both times by lovely and pleasant women. In fact I had a really nice conversation with Leelah and she made me feel very at home. I ordered the chicken Tikka only because they had no palak paneer. I also ordered a spiced hot tea and a paratha. My meal was delicious. The buffet isn't served during the winter months, if you were wondering lol. The spices were right and the fresh cilantro on top along with the chunks of onions in the sauce just added the right finish. I'm happy to say I'll be a repeat customer. I normally order through door dash but wanted to see this place in person. I was happy to find a very clean kitchen. I've been to every Indian restaurant in town and am not a fan of Zaika. Some others are okay but this place hits the mark every order. If you like real homemade food, try this place. The prices are reasonable and the food is good.

We had breakfast here at 9am on Thursday morning. The chhole puri, idli plate and samosa chaat were tasty and filling for us for next 6-7 hours of Maid of Mist and Cave of Winds tours. This place is open 8:30 till midnight and walking distance from Niagara Falls visitor centers (both park one and city one). The owner lady was very courteous and helpful in suggesting food. For dinner we just did curry take out with which they give rice, to eat while watching night illumination and fireworks on Niagara Falls.

Coming from Texas, I honestly wasn’t expecting to find Indian food this fabulous. We visited this restaurant for lunch and were blown away by the buffet- every single item was delicious, flavorful and reminded us of home. I had my mom and mother in law with me and they loved the food so much that we returned the next morning for breakfast, this time with the entire family. I truly wish we had a place like this in Dallas, Texas. If you are visiting Niagara Falls and love Indian cuisine don’t miss this spot.

Soul satisfying food must say. After the visit of Niagara falls we all were very tired and were tempted for some delicious Indian food and luckily we found the best one. They had varieties of food to offer which we were not able to fit in our plate. Each food tasted yum, heavenly taste. It was a buffet price $22 per person. It was worth of every bite. Must visit when in Niagara, New York.

Excellent food. Finger lickin’ good is an understatement. Very flavourful comfort food. We ordered the chole bhature, lassi, garlic naans, chana masala etc.. everything was just as you’d get back home in an Indian home. Even better I’d say. No frills, just good vibes, and ghar ki yaad. We came here on a whim, after reading a few reviews online, and have now told everyone in our known circle to come here whenever they are near the Niagara Falls in Buffalo. Thank you Bombay Palace Eatery!

We’re visiting this place for the first time and, after seeing so many great reviews, we were really looking forward to trying their buffet. Unfortunately, since it’s the off-season, the buffet wasn’t available, so we ordered à la carte instead—and it did not disappoint! The butter chicken was absolutely authentic and full of flavor. The naan bread was top-notch—soft, fresh, and perfectly cooked. We also ordered the chicken curry, which was excellent and truly felt like a homemade South Indian chicken curry. Overall, a wonderful experience. I 100% recommend this place and will definitely be back!

We visited Bombay Palace Eatery on a heavy snowfall day (-19°C!) and it instantly felt warm welcoming inside. Their stuffed parathas were delicious, and the chole bhature was perfectly mild, served with imli chutney and onions. The Indian music and authentic flavors made us forget the cold for a while. Truly comforting food and vibes.

LATE POST: So my husband Ahmed and I walked in, initially to just use their restrooms, but we ended ordering food! We are so glad we did. Ahmed had the cHana masala and I had the Aloo Saag. We also had some samosas and fresh baked roti. It was my first time trying the Aloo Saag and now (thanks to Bombay Palace) I have a new favorite thing to order. The samosas were large and perfectly spiced. The portion sizes were enough for two meals. We absolutely loved every bit! But what made the food even better was the customer service. We got a chance to meet the owner. He was the one that helped us place our order. He patiently went through the menu, and highlighted all the vegan options on the menu. He answered all our questions and also took time to get to know us a bit. He is very down to earth and you can tell that he is very passionate about his restaurant and takes pride in providing delicious, healthy, quality Indian food. We also had a chance to meet the chef who prepared our food! Although we didn’t get a chance to talk with him as long, he seemed like a humble, honest guy with a great heart. We loved our time and will be back next time we are in the area. Amazing food. Amazing customer service. Amazing people. 10/10 recommend

$22 buffet lunch. The food was excellent. It's rare to find a place where every dish is consistently flavorful, but this restaurant delivered on all fronts. The meal began with a variety of starters, including fryums, papads, achar, and samosas. This was followed by three to four well-prepared sabzis, accompanied by two types of rice and two varieties of naan(garlic & butter) The dessert was also quite enjoyable. At just $22, the meal is both satisfying and great value, leaving you full and your taste buds thoroughly pleased. The ambience is peaceful and relaxing, adding to the overall experience. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. It's conveniently located just a one-minute walk from Niagara Falls State Park.

Really authentic North Indian Punjabi food. When the Naan came (Garlic and butter naan), it was the best naan I had in US. Those naan showed that they know what they are doing. Crispy and soft at same time. My mom and Nani came from India to visit me and honestly the food here is as good as in nice Indian restaurant. We had kadhai paneer, malai kofta, lamb kadhai and butter and garlic Naan. Taste- 10/10 I thought it’s a tourist place, food will not be good!! But it was really good. If I came here again, I would would eat here. Last time I had food at Zaika. It was not good at all!! Very bad! But this restaurant had good food! I hope they maintain their quality as it’s now! I would visit their again!🙏🏼

Delighted with the Indian restaurant's all- day buffet! For around $23, the spread was impressive, especially with plenty of veggie options. Hot naan and roti served right to your table was a lovely touch. A la carte Standouts included the delicious Aloo Paratha with Bondi Raita and Mango Pickle, and the Aloo Tikki Chaat was flavourful too. Great value for money! Highly recommend for authentic Indian flavors.

We recently visited Niagara Falls. We stayed at Red Coach Inn. Bombay Palace is right next to it. We have been ordering our dinner from here every night. The food has been amazing that we keep going back each night. One thing I have to say is that their biryani has so much meat! These days, it's so rare to have find this and we really appreciated this! I hope they never change. Also, it's very rare for me to love a place because a lot of places add way too much salt to their food. Here the food is perfectly salty. I just want to add that the biryani is but the typical biryani flavor that most people might be used to, but we didn't mind because it was DELICIOUS! We'll be returning!

Nice spacious N.Indian restaurant also offering idlis and sambhar, very close to Niagara State Park and hopping distance from our hotel. Tried their mutter paneer and rotis for lunch, washed down with lassi satisfied our craving for good Indian cuisine. Tasted their chaats in the evening and found those yummy too. They have a buffet but we ordered a la carte. Returned this morning for a filling and tasty breakfast of puri channa, idli and medhu vada. Very friendly and courteous service. Dilawar and Neeraj took good care of our needs.

All day buffet $23 with kids under 10 for $12. Great option walkable from Niagara state park Maid of mist area. Food is tasty and satisfying for the location. 3.5 stars. This is a typical north Indian restaurant in Niagara Falls. Their food is authentically desi as compared to what I've had in Rochester, NY. The ambiance is simple, nothing too fancy. Parking is either in the parking lots of the State Park or paid parking along the street. The people running and serving at the restaurant are also authentically desi. We didn't know that it was just a buffet restaurant when we came here for dinner. My parents didn't want to do the buffet so we decided to go elsewhere, but they accommodated us by giving us a limited ala carte menu (no appetizers or south Indian food). The only restaurants that do this are back home in India. Having said that, the service itself was almost non-existent. They seem to not want to work. Telling people to do the buffet allows them to relax and talk. Doing ala carte means taking an order and actual service. Well, we didn't get much of it any how. We were waiting for a good 10 mins before water was brought. We didn't get takeaway boxes for a while. My brother ended up going to the counter to pay because nobody bothered to bring us the check. We ordered the mixed vegetable, saag paneer and kadhai chicken with the jeera fried rice (you order rice separately as the curries don't come with rice), butter roti, butter naan, and garlic naan. The portions were decent. The food itself was delicious with the exception of oil. Just like a typical Indian restaurant, there was way too much oil. The saag had less oil than the others, so that was our favorite. The garlic naan didn't have enough garlic on it, and the pieces were pretty small. We had some left over, so we took it home. Having looked at the buffet option vs ala carte, I would go with the buffet next time because they had more options (paneer, mixed veg, chicken, lamb, naans, rice, dessert, etc). It costs $20 per person but going ala carte also ends up costing the same or more. Overall, this was an ok experience. If I had to describe it in a sentence, if you are a desi coming to this restaurant, expect the service and food exactly as you would back home.

They are yet to learn, Politeness doesn't cost anything. May be, one fish spoiling the whole pond's water. We had breakfast and buffet lunch. Food was good, especially when you get your own taste thousands of miles away. There are few sectors where it can be much improved. Hope, they will do it soon. Cost of Buffet is very reasonable. Ala carte items are little on the higher side.

Food was okay. I liked the paneer dish. I loved the fruit custard with mango. Dal makhani, chana masala was also good. Gulab jamun was extra sweet so that kinda put me off but it could be my personal preference. May visit again next year.

I have to be honest, please don't get upset. I used to come here every week for buffet, but the food suddenly became really bland, so I stopped. The last time I came in May the food was practically tasteless. It's as if no sodium is being added and almost no spices. I also got bored of the butter chicken. I wish there were a chicken curry on the buffet, but I've only seen that a few times over the years at this place. The food used to be really good. It's just not the same anymore. I don't know what happened. I hope things turn around.

They mentioned buffets all day but that’s not the case when I went in October on weekdays. Little disappointed. Also the bearer is not explaining the things properly when we asked about the food. Taste of gobi Manchurian was good, recommended. Other food taste was good not great

Not so satisfactory food and I would strongly prefer truck food over this. Coming to the taste its below average. Service, as most of the Indian restaurants are self service in Niagara you have to wait in a queue or go all the way till the counter and order food. So truck would be a good choice as we clearly know the portion size. Probably buffet might be suitable for a few but mostly I expect that taste will be similar to what we have ordered.

Indian joint close the falls. Very old property and with basic furniture. The lady greeting and sitting the guest has no smile on her face and working like a machine. We were seated, we started having our buffet, 10 mins later we had to call the lady to give us some water. She forgot about it and we had to call her again. Very bad service The buffet is very average and small spread Tandoori chicken tray was empty and we waited almost till our lunch is over but it was worth the wait. Nice chicken tandoori The mutton curry was good and tender Chile was watery Naan was freshly made Rice was dry Overall it was not worth $21.99 USD

Bombay Palace is an Indian restaurant in Niagara falls. They offer buffets as well as a la carte. The buffet spread looked ordinary compared to other Indian buffets in the area hence we tried the a la carte and the food was good but the service was sub par. It's almost like they want you to go with the buffet and if you don't they don't care. We saw the restaurant staff serving water to the people who were having buffets and we had to take the menu, place order and pay ourselves by going to the counter. Overall the food was good but terrible customer service.

Buffet and A-la-carte options available ! Near to Information Center Niagara ! We tried following :- 1. Masal Chai - 2/5 ( okayish) 2. Mix platter - 4/5 (Good Taste, Can try) 3. Paneer Bhurji - 2/5 ( Okayish Taste, Overpowering Garlic Taste) 4. Dal Makhani - 3/5 (Good) 5. Garlic Naan 6. Butter Naan Less number of server ! Edit :- Response to the owner :- I am not sure if you have read my review and rating or not ? But I gave 4 star for the food. Paneer Bhurji and Chai we didn't liked so rated less. But, still if you want to provide my photo for blocking, please go ahead ! And, for your kind info, in the same trip I rated, Zaika ( from Niagara), Ahimsa ( from New York), The Onion Tree Pizza Co. ( from New York), all of them I gave 4 star rating.

This is good, they need to improve on their hygiene or cleanliness . Kadai chicken was good, both lamb and chicken biryani’s are not good. Don’t ever try to order them. The garlic nan was good but bit crunchy that made difficult to eat.

We tried the buffet and found it overpriced for what was offered. The food was not particularly impressive. Also, be aware that they charge $3.05 per water bottle—which appear to be purchased from Sam’s Club—making the pricing seem unreasonable. It’s best to bring your own water.

Dude, ain’t no way this place is still in business. Easily one of the worst Indian restaurants I’ve been to. We ordered chili chicken, chicken biryani, and muttar paneer — and wow, what a disaster: 1. Everything was drowning in oil. 2. Portions were tiny, especially for $18 a dish. 3. The tables and chairs felt like they’d collapse if you breathed too hard near them. It’s obvious quality isn’t even on their radar, and the staff couldn’t care less about the customers — their lack of attentiveness made that pretty clear. Still trying to figure out how this place hasn’t shut down yet.

One Star is Too Generous – Avoid at All Costs If you’re ever in the mood to waste your time, money, and appetite all at once, this is the place for you. From the moment we walked in, the experience was a disaster. The staff acted like our presence was an inconvenience, the host barely acknowledged us, and we were seated at a wobbly table that looked like it had survived a hurricane. The food? A total nightmare. Everything tasted like it came straight from a microwave — bland, soggy, and borderline inedible. The “house special” was a sad excuse for a meal: overcooked, under-seasoned, and drowning in a mysterious sauce that tasted like ketchup and regret. Even the drinks were a joke — watery cocktails loaded with sugar and no flavor. I’ve had better beverages from a gas station vending machine. To top it off, they had the audacity to charge premium prices for this mess. Over $60 a head for what I wouldn’t feed to a stray dog. And when we asked for hot sauce to salvage the meal, they brought out a tiny bottle of Tabasco and charged us a dollar extra. Unbelievable. Do yourself a favor — skip this place. I’d have had a better dinner staying home with instant noodles and silence.

Combination of terrible customer service and the evident use of frozen, reheated food. None of the dishes were a proper adult meal, all kids meal quantity. Chutneys weren’t served with South Indian dishes, when requested, had to wait for additional 10 minutes for it to arrive. Even though I could taste the bitterness in chai and could easily tell it wasn’t freshly made from the weird aroma, I was expecting it to be served hot. When requested to microwave it, the server argued saying it’s hot because they had pre-made it some time ago. Seriously?

Worst briyani ever!!! It was just veg pulao with 2 tiny piece. Also, extremely rude manager. First misplaced our order. When we showed him our biryani, he says thats how our biryani is. The manager confessed that all the google reviews are fake, he says “thike review de do hamare bande hai review dene ke liye”, please do not trust the reviews. Response to reply: Btw, we ordered 3 dishes between 4 people. You could not even deliver the correct dishes to the correct table, even though only 3-4 tables were occupied. And how many people we share a dish between is none of your business. Restaurant cannot be run with such arrogance, treat your customers with some respect.

I recently came here for lunch/dinner. I wasn't impressed. The prices are super high for the area. I ordered a chicken kabob appetizer. $18. No bread. No fork. The buffet was the reason why we went in the first place. One look at the buffet made me want to vomit. The food looked like it was sitting from the night before. I know the tourist season isn't in full swing. I would stay clear of this place. While sitting there, the owner was on speaker phone taking orders and credit card information being broadcasted throughout the entire dining hall. When I was leaving I tried to nicely tell then owner some advice, but he was arrogant and made excuses of why he was on speaker phone. LET ME TELL YOU...with all the credit card and identity fraud problems today. .NO Restaurant has any excuse to broadcast customers valuable information out loud for people to hear.

We stopped here for a late lunch after a hot and busy day at the falls. The staff are extremely short and rude. And different people gave different information. The restaurant is maintained poorly. And the food at the buffet was cold, and tasteless. The naan was the only thing that was fresh and hot. And the pickle was decent. Our table of 4 were going to opt for 1 buffet and 3 people eating a la carte but we were told we would have to sit at different tables if we did that. Which was a weird rule. Restaurant was not even crowded at the time. We had to ask for water multiple times before we were given a pitcher with glasses. The outside of the restaurant consist of run down and abandoned store fronts. I might not be wrong if I said this place is in business because of its locations so close to the falls and the number of tourists that find comfort in India food.

🚨 ALERT: Avoid this place at all costs! 🚨 This is not a real restaurant – it feels more like a scam business. We went around 9:00 PM, planning to have a quick buffet dinner before heading to see the fireworks at the Falls. What we got instead was a nightmare. • The buffet items were dried out, stale, and clearly not fresh. • When we complained about the food and wanted to walk out, the owner insisted that “if you’re in, you have to eat what we serve.” Completely unacceptable. • The meats were oily, smelly, and didn’t even taste like real meat. Honestly, it was the worst food I’ve ever had in my lifetime. This is more than just a bad meal — it’s a serious health risk. The food quality was so poor that local food safety authorities should audit this place immediately. 💀 If you want to invite sickness, then this is the spot. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and stay far away. Update: The owner claims this review is “fake.” It’s not — I visited on 22Aug2025 and have a credit card transaction (attached) showing payment at this restaurant. Everything described above is from my actual experience.

If you go to breakfast please ask the price before you order otherwise you’ll get scammed. They didn’t posted the price in the board . Service was extremely slow took 45 minutes to serve breakfast while restaurant wasn’t busy at all. Food was okay .

Don’t ever attempt this place. Look at the chicken piece size. It’s waste of money and mood. And staff is arrogant to say “hamari biryani aisi hi hoti hai.

Worker was very rude. Told us no more order and then right after saw him take someone else’s order. The quality of the food here is very bad. Naan didn’t have butter on it. Worst of all there was chicken in a vegetarian dish. Would not recommend.

My husband and I found pieces of plastic in the biryani, and our first few bites may have contained some. I was very kind over the phone while recieving the refund and was ready to be forgiving because accidents happen, but the man behind the counter seemed upset that I wanted my 8oz chai free of charge. The man who made the meal was remorseful and probably won't let it happen again, but being unwilling to spare a tea that takes less than $2 to make for a health hazard is hard to comprehend.

We had the worst food and service experience at this place. We went to place and ordered chicken Biryani, Mutton Biryani and Chilly Chicken. We waited more than one hour and got the food. Food quality was pathetic, pls refer pictures ( of course you cannot taste 😋). It’s too pricey, poor food quality, poor packaging and bad service. In my opinion for Indian food, explore buffalo downtown, avoid this place. Waste of money.

We ordered paneer burji and veg biryani. The biryani was literally colored rice with no spices and some stale veggies like broccoli🤮 In a Biryani. The attitude of the owner was so bad who spoke rudely for complaining about the quality of the biryani. It’s a gimmick because it did not look at all like the menu description and pictures. Paneer burji was good. Credit where it’s due. Would NOT recommend ever coming here, especially due to the treatment by the owner. Edit: Not sure which discount they are referring to in the comment below to deviate from the actual issue. Our complaint was about the misleading biryani and its quality (as shown in the pictures attached). Please read other reviews too complaining about the biryani and service as well. Thankful for the other good Indian restaurants that make up for the poor service like theirs. PS: read all their one star reviews and the owner’s responses before visiting this place
