Best biryani in Niagara, hands down! The spices are well-balanced, and the aroma is irresistible. The staff makes you feel right at home. Will be back for more.

The mutton biryani was out of this world—soft, fall-off-the-bone pieces of meat, long-grain basmati rice infused with deep spices, and just the right level of heat. A must-try for true biryani lovers.

Although the restaurant was packed, the service members made sure to get our order on time and the taste was really good too. Thank you and good luck 🙏

The Curd Rice here is the best I’ve ever had. It's incredibly creamy with the perfect balance of spices and freshness from the curry leaves and mustard seeds. It’s such a comforting and soothing dish, especially on a hot day. Definitely worth trying!

The food was really good. We got the Vijayawada boneless biryani and Hyderabadi Goat Dum biryani. The taste was on point and quantity good too. We ordered 3 biryanis for 4 persons and had some left overs too. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for some Indian food near Niagara Falls

I was blown away by the Curd Rice. It was perfectly creamy and tangy with just the right amount of seasoning. The addition of pomegranate seeds was a delightful touch, adding a burst of sweetness. A perfect, refreshing dish for any time of the day.

Had a great dinner here …I tried boneless biryani, it was awesome and had my stomach full with a gulab jamun…plenty of south indian style breakfast options as well…I can understand the rush considering its very close to Niagara falls but will definitely try to dine in here next time..!

My brother recommended this spot and it didn’t disappoint. I had the Goat Biryani and he tried the Chicken 65. We ended up sharing both because we couldn’t choose a favorite.

I eat a lot of Indian food and Hyderabad Biryani House impressed me. Their Chicken Dum Biryani had the signature basmati flavor and smoky layers I expect from home-style cooking.

This place is amazing! The staff is so helpful, kind, has patience. The food is great, try the dum biryan, tandoori, dosas, paratas, naan, chicken curry was so so good. I cannot explain how great the food and atmosphere was, I came all the way from New York here and left very satisfied!

Visited June 7, 2025. The Goat Fry Biryani was spicy and delicious. Staff asked if I wanted mild or spicy and tailored it well. Good service.

I finally found a spot that does South Indian food right, and I’m already planning my next visit. The dosa was spot-on—thin, crispy, and served with the most flavorful chutneys and sambar I’ve had in a long time. You can tell it was made fresh and with care. The South Indian-style biryani was another highlight. It had just the right amount of spice and aroma—nothing too overpowering, just layered flavors that build as you eat. The brinjal curry on the side was rich and full of depth, the kind of thing you usually only get in home-cooked meals. What really surprised me, though, was the buffet. I usually avoid buffets because the food can feel generic, but here? Every dish had its own character. From tangy rasam and fluffy idlis to crispy vadas and creamy payasam for dessert—everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Plenty of vegetarian and non-veg options too, which was great. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the place had a laid-back vibe—perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner. If you’re a fan of South Indian food (or curious to try it properly), this place won’t disappoint.

I got mutton biryani, chicken 65, and chicken biryani. The biryani was so flavorful, and the mutton and chicken were tender and juicy. The portions were generous. The chicken 65 was amazing, with the perfect level of spice like I wanted. I ate at Hyderabad Biryani House until I was to Niagara. The place is small, but the food is totally worth it. The service is slow, but the staff tries their best. The food is totally worth it, especially the mutton and chicken biryani and the chicken 65. I totally recommend it if you are looking more towards food.

If you’re craving authentic Hyderabadi biryani, this place delivers! Layers of saffron-infused rice, tender meat, and whole spices created an explosion of flavor. The portion was generous and the side dishes complemented it perfectly.

I visited Hyderabad Biryani House in early June 2025, and the Chicken Dum Biryani was phenomenal. The aroma hit me the moment I opened the box. Tender chicken, perfectly spiced rice, and generous portions. The raita and salan were fresh too.

The ambiance is simple but clean, and the food is the real hero. I had their Veg Biryani and was surprised how flavorful it was. Not dry or bland at all like some places. I’d give them 5 stars easily.

Really good and fresh food. Very near to the food court and the maid of the mist tour. We ordered veg biryani, dal tadka and onion dosa. We packed Idly for next day breakfast for our hotel and it was good. Totally worth it. Please don't have biryani expectations to be from your local region but it was totally worth the taste. We visited during sept and it was raining and the medium spicy was worth it. We didn't choose a food court in international food court the tour bus stopped as it was not fresh and costly but food in this restaurant was totally worth it. Seeing us Day 2 other families came with us We came with our grandmother who is 75yrs and she loves the food. The Indian tea and chai are excellent. Chai is made with ginger and its amazing. If you are with tour bus, pack food for next day breakfast like idly and it's totally worth it. Also other reviews indicate biryani is not Hyderabadi please ignore them. Getting this quality food very close to Niagara is great. Yes bathrooms are have small insects like stuff. Its not bad. The restrooms are far better than rest stops and other places. Definitely give it a try especially if you're traveling with parents and elders.

I recently visited Hyderabad Biryani House and had a great experience! The Vijayawada Boneless Biryani was absolutely delicious—flavorful, perfectly spiced, and cooked just right. I also enjoyed the Chicken 65, which was crisp, well-marinated, and a great starter. The Mutton Biryani was another standout, tender and rich in flavor. Overall, the biryanis here are truly satisfying, and the staff was friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even better. Highly recommend for biryani lovers

Erstwhile Punjabi Hut was taken over by Hyderabad Biryani House Niagara in May 2024. We recently had Dinner here. Vegetable Dum Biryani was good (mildly spicy). We also ordered Aloo Parota and Paneer Parota, but unfortunately it was not as expected. Both of them looked the same. Also, had Masala Tea here, it was good. They also serve Veg and Non Veg Buffet for 21.99 with many options. They also have Ice Creams and Kulfis. I liked Mango kulfi.

Very convenient location, parking depends (you could get free or mostly paid parking near by), located very near to falls area and walkable distance to state park. Since this place is fairly new I would not expect everything to be perfect at this time but needs some improvements. Buffet price is bit costlier when compared to number of items on the lineup. Biriyani(non veg) was not even in the buffet but you have to order it as ala carte?. Some other items in the buffet was not refilled when we went there (Saturday lunch around 1:30). Staffs are def attentive , friendly , accommodative . Moderate crowd , there is seating inside the building and there is a temp shelter where dosa is made. Taste of food was mixed (some were ok and some things are good ). I hope this restaurent beat the competition and stays healthy.

The food is great. I particularly liked the chicken kabobs. The biriyani was OK.

Taste of the food is fine but I found they used frozen naan instead of freshly baked. Anyways, nice place to eat especially for tourists.

There wasn’t much of an atmosphere. There was a good variety of food and they all tasted good but it would have been better if the food was hot. They were lukewarm. Pretty much self service with paper plates and plastic cups.

P
Pratiksha Pradhan

The aloo parantha and masala dosa were probably the worst Indian food I have had in the US. The parantha was very small and cost $7, which is absolutely not worth it. There was barely any masala dosa filling and the sambhar was subpar. The prices are on the higher side with the food quality not at all matching up to them.

N
Neeraj Bedi

Do NOT order dal/paneer at this location. The dal was more liquidy than a plain bowl of water.

R
R B

Go only for live Dosa. The location is convenient, but the food fell short of expectations and didn’t taste fresh. Given the touristy and remote area, it's hard to expect top-notch quality. If you're visiting, I highly recommend sticking to the live dosa—it was the only highlight of the meal! ⭐⭐

R
Ramesh Yadav

1) waited long time they forgot all my order need to remind multiple times. 2) one of my frnd was veg, they served chicken instead of paneer. 3) dosa didn’t cooked . 4) chicken curry with mutton gravy. 5) red Cheney for dosa was spoiled. Just they are attacking with songs/music

S
Samarth Kapoor

Mediocre. They took like an hour to get us the food and kept forgetting the order. No one in the staff took any accountability. The food wasn't worth the wait or the money. The sambhar was a tasteless liquid with the consistency of water. The dosas and parathas were worse than the ready-to-eat stuff that you might find in the US stores. The high rating can be explained by the 5 star reviews from people who have rated only once before, so they were probably tasting food for the first time in their lives.

M
Murali Gurajala

I know it's a business and it's some ones livelihood and I thought twice before writing a negative review. but this business definitely deserves it.

First thing it's over pricey. Foul smell in Paneer biryani and chutney dosa was spoiled and tasteless veg biryani many more, Search for any other restaurant and moroever Late serving and trust me be prepared to ordered before you board flight from your destination.

NOT RECOMMENDED!! The buffet cost 22 dollars, but it was not at all worth it. Rice was not cooked properly. Food was not fresh. Too much of bones in the chicken 65 and madras chicken curry. Since it was not okay, we ordered dosa with chicken curry and mutton briyani. Dosa was served with the same chicken curry from the buffet. Mutton briyani was not freshly prepared. Gulab jamun was so hard. This is the first time we are coming here, and we were excited to try South Indian food. But I regret choosing this place. Only good thing - CHICKEN 65 was very tasty but more minute bones than the meat.

K
Kshitij Chhillar

Extremely poor quality , taste and hospitality For first 15 minutes no one even attended us No one offered us water after that we called the waitress who took the order. After that food sucked. Naan was cold not edible Paneer tikka was tasteless biryani was below average chicken wasn’t cooked properly and I waited for water till the end but they didn’t give us glasses till I asked them I got so frustrated then the naan came with were not fresh at all they tasted like they were cooked yesterday i bill was $52. Which was not at all worth it I am an Indian who drove from florida trying a lot of Indian restaurants along the way this is the WORST ONE I have come across They need to change a lot. I would have given then a good rating if either the hospitality or the food if either one of them was good

S
Surya Raja

Food was good I guess Service terrible didn’t even know which food went to which table. Took long time to arrive Large spider almost got in the food. No plates or cups at tables had to get ourselves. They were paper/plastic. Dirty plates and trash all over floor. Overall terrible restaurant but good street food style but they categorize as a restaurant.

I went to this dump on 06/23/2024 for lunch. This is hands down the most disgusting excuse for Indian food I’ve ever had. The food quality is beyond awful. It was so bland and tasteless, I could barely stomach it. They claimed it was paneer curry, but it was clearly tofu (probably because it's cheaper). They had the audacity to charge us 25 bucks per person, but it's not even worth a cent. This is an absolute joke. Trust me, save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this place at all costs.

A
Ashutosh Srivastava

Terrible experience and extremely poor, slow and inefficient service. They even forgot our order multiple times and came back to ask us, every time saying that it will take another 10 minutes. This was not even peak lunch or dinner time but 4 pm in the afternoon when the restaurant was half empty. Please go to one of the amazing street food carts in Niagara instead of this place.

S
Sandeep Pamarthy

The biryani’s was too bad and dosa’s are okay but chutney is made with water looks like colored water. Don’t waste money here.

D
Dheeraj Palakurthi

I recently visited Hyderabadi Biryani House and ordered the paratha. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The paratha seemed like it was just a frozen product that hadn't been cooked properly. For the high price, I expected much better quality. Given this experience, I cannot recommend Hyderabadi Biryani House for paratha.

Well aside from the massive spiders in the webs above our table/heads and the wood with exposed nails ON THE SEAT the food just wasn't good. The wait staff were as slow as humanly possible and it wasn't because they were busy.

We went today for lunch buffet. We had super worst experience n very very bad service. We had to wait SUPER LONG for buffet naan. Not at all good. I keep on asking for naan bread. The lady server & the male server had no courtesy to get us the naan. We were not asking naan bread for free. We paid them the buffet money so why the hell we didn’t got the naan bread. Very slow & lazy service. After finishing the food within 25min then naan bread comes after it. I said what is this. The restaurant opened at 11am n then naan bread was not ready at 12.15pm. Seriously. What kind of super LAZY service it is this.. What the worst service. I’m never ever going back. Won’t come back I made promise. Zero star n zero customer service.. very disappointing service..

The worst indian food i have ever ate in US, along with its worst and arrogant service made me feel terrible. The paneer was not cooked properly, chana also not cooked properly, overly sweetened paneer curry. All these are hell. The worst food evere. Spoiling the name of hyderbadi house.

The lemon rice is spoiled, stinky smell. The items are not so tasty. There is no non bread… served pita bread. Do not recommend.

B
Bill Bucolo Jr

Very pricey and it makes sense given the location the food was mediocre I would give it three and a half stars out of five it wasn't very sanitary I had to ask for a cup to pour my own water there was water pitchers on all the tables and I don't know how long they've been sitting there and the bathroom wasn't sanitary the whole restaurant didn't seem too sanitary the lady was nice the portions were small and very pricey I got two small orders and Order of rice and an order of naan plain bread and it was almost $38 I can understand why it was expensive and there wasn't hardly any customers there when a party of 10 customers came they asked the waiter for certain items on the menu and he said no we don't have that right now no we don't have that right now and he could have simply taped it off or marked it off instead of wasting their time it was definitely poor communication and it was the same with me but the female was very nice and I was able to find food that I liked they were just really small portions for the cost and it wasn't very sanitary it should be given the location. I've been it really fancy Indian restaurants and paid half and got bigger portions and then when it came up for the bill it wasn't handed to me they said you need to come back here and pay like it's a fast food restaurant it's very unorganized there

P
Paul Christopher Felix F

WORST!!!! I've visited so many Indian buffet places across the US, Europe and India of course.. this is one of the worst Indian buffets I've ever had. $22 for a buffet which had very less number of items, everything was hot and warm but not fresh.. chicken 65 was too good but it had more bones than the meat. Would not recommend.

I visited this restaurant last week and had a mediocre experience. We ordered the goat biryani, which was average in taste. The ambiance was also unimpressive. However, what really left a bad taste was the argument we witnessed between a customer and the staff over a spoiled dish that had been served. The customer was understandably upset, and it was clear that the restaurant had failed to meet their expectations. Overall, my experience was disappointing and I might think twice before returning.

K
Karup T

I had the most disappointing experience at Hyderabadi briyani house Niagarfalls NY. They advertised buffet and I confirmed it over the phone, but when I arrived for lunch, there was no buffet available and mentioned that their buffet counter is under repair. The staff seemed clueless and disorganized, offering no explanation or answers. To make matters worse, we were made to sit outside on a very hot sunny day and the quality of the food was extremely bad . I ordered their specials both mutton and chicken briyani and chicken 65 (extremely Salty) the meat was was stale and tasted nothing like any kind of biryani. It was bland and seemed like it had been sitting out for hours. The service was horrendous. Customers, including myself, were left waiting for what felt like an eternity. After for more than an hour of waiting, they finally brought out our orders, only to get mine completely wrong. Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. I would not recommend to anyone looking for good food or decent service.

I don’t prefer this Indian restaurant, food doesn’t taste good. Prices are too high and quantity is too low. I recommend to see any other Indian restaurant.

Very bad experience. They serve food in plastic plates. We ordered dosas and they were quite bad as well. Asked for water, even that wasn't provided. In the end just paid and walked out. Dont waste your time and money here.

Worst Indian restaurant I have ever been to, ants crawling everywhere, sink has only hot water in this weather. Prices are too high and food portions are very less according to the price. Servers has no respect for the customers. Gave us wet plates and when asked to dry it she said dry by yourself we are very busy and there were only 2 tables occupied in the whole restaurant. No hygiene not good for health wise. County should look into this. If there is the option is would give negative rating to this restaurant. Worst Worst Worst

Chicken Dum biryani was very dry and ordered Veg dum biryani , with less spicy, still gave spicy one without much vegetables. By name Hyderabad Biryani House I thought that it would be like same in India, but was disappointed, please don’t go.. Better to have near by other restaurants

The food here is very disappointing. The biryani and tiffins taste stale and lack the authentic Hyderabad flavor. Definitely not the place to go if you’re looking for real Hyderabadi taste

The name is Biryani house but the Biryani doesn't even pass the basics. Whatever the Biryani you order, you get same rice and same flavor. They just add raw chilli powder at the end to make it spicy, if you order spicy. It's not hygiene too.

One of the worst food restaurants ever. We took there buffet cost 22 dollar.. everything cold and the food was bizarre taste. And the kitchen environment as like as hell. No difference in between kitchen and restroom. #health department should go on it.

This place deserves only ZERO stars. They mix a bunch of chicken pieces with basmati rice and sell it as Vijayawada Biryani. I bought, two vijayawada chicken biryanis and a vijayawada paneer biryani. We were all hungry . Totally waste of money and we had to throw the 3/4th of food into trash and bought a lunch at McDonalds . These guys were arguing when we called & complained. That lady at the desk is the worst. Stay away from this place .

Worst food experience ever! The place had very poor hygiene — tasteless food served with flies all over it. No cleanliness at all. Complete waste of money and definitely not worth visiting. Paisal Bokka ! Chethalaga undi food!

Rating: 2/10 😤🤮🤢 We ordered three biryanis — one vegetable, one Vijayawada boneless, and one dum biryani. Nothing was good. All seemed to have the same rice, lacked flavor, and didn’t taste fresh — possibly reheated. Staff were unresponsive and just gave salt packets when we complained. No apology, just some chicken gravy after repeated requests. Very poor service and experience. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Sticky tables, uncleaned chairs, untidy staff… 5 of us We ordered Cheese dosa, sadha dosa, masala dosa & podi dosa… Food was absolutely tasteless cooked in god knows some smelly oil. Masala was sour, coconut chutney was days old. “We left the food half ate.” Overall waste of money…i strongly do not recommend this restaurant.

Terrible Experience – Avoid This Place We visited Hyderabadi Biryani House at Niagara Falls and ordered two chicken biryanis. To our disappointment, they simply reheated old, cold biryani and served it as if it were fresh. After just one bite, we immediately realized the food was not fresh, it tasted stale and carried a foul smell from both the rice and chicken, clearly indicating it was at least a day old. The overall taste was pathetic, and the smell inside the restaurant itself was unpleasant, filled with garbage odors. We couldn’t eat more than a spoon of rice before deciding to leave immediately. Shockingly, the server didn’t bother to ask why we weren’t eating our food or why we were leaving. Instead, he casually gave us a takeaway box and directed us to pay at the counter. We ended up paying nearly $20 per plate for food that was inedible. This shows a complete lack of courtesy, hygiene, and basic customer service. I strongly recommend visitors avoid this place, it’s a waste of money and an unpleasant experience. I also urge the authorities to check the food quality here and take strict action against such practices.

We had dinner buffet here on a Saturday night. We chose this because it was closer and late. The place is definitely not up to code. Lots of hazardous and dirty things around the entire restaurant. Buffet is definitely not worth for $25. Three chicken dishes and a few vegetarian dishes. All the meat dishes were overcooked. Most dishes doesn’t taste like freshly made today. Our alacarte order was canceled. Definitely won’t come here again. And it doesn’t matter to this restaurant because it’s in a popular tourist spot so people crowd here without knowing for the name. The people working here are polite and respectful.

I went to this place without checking the reviews because the place that I wanted to go to, across the street, was full. I went there for the buffet and I should have left when I saw that almost every tray in the buffet table was a brownish color but I was feeling adventurous. As I got closer and started loading my plate. I noticed that all the meat that wasn't in sauce was almost in jerky and even some of the meat that was in the sauce was still dry. I'm assuming this is because it's been reheated so many times. I started eating and couldn't really taste a difference between the different items because I'm wondering if they just mix the leftovers together and reheat it. That's also why the colors and flavors are all the same. I wouldn't say it's horrible tasting but I don't know if I would call it Indian cuisine. It's more of an Indian inspired food-like substance. The taste of the food was less concerning than the state of the chutney station. Which had drying layers of crust on the top of it. Even the masala chai was off, like you were drinking the ghost of masala chai. I paid $24 for the buffet, that being said, it should be more like $6 or $8 with a drink. I see now, that they are buying five-star reviews instead of just trying to operate the restaurant properly.
