Nice place, excellent atmosphere and taste. Just is a little expensive but I don’t regret. Definitely this is a “must go place”.
Great Filipino food. Quaint little restaurant underneath an apartment building. totally enjoyed our meal. You have to pay for parking but they will validate just ask.
The best authentic Filipino food just a walk-away from Niagara Falls. A must-try Filipino taste for those haven't experience, and for my kababayans' it is a resemblance of "Lutong-bahay". Try halo-halo and turon after the long walk in Niagara Falls.
The Mami House is delicious! Authentic food from the Philippines, cooked to perfection. The skin on the savory chicken was crispy but not greasy, and the fried pork belly is crispy crunchy and flavorful. But my favorite dish by far is the Arroz Caldo! It warms the soul with its creamy broth, soft rice and crunchy fired garlic! I definitely recommend putting a little fresh lemon juice in there too to brighten it up a smidge. The service was fabulous, we were checked on just often enough and everyone was friendly and kind. I will most definitely be back!
This was our first time having Filipino cuisine & we had a wonderful experience! Service was outstanding, food was served quickly, hot & fresh. The dumplings & sauce were the perfect starter for two. Pancit Canton was delicious. The sizzling sisig came out sizzling with a fresh egg cracked on top & the rice paired perfectly. That pork belly kept us coming back in for another bite. The star of the meal was by far the beef short ribs. They were tender & sauced perfectly. Pay for parking was being worked on when we left, so we didn’t have to pay & didn’t ask for parking validation, while other reviews suggested they would validate parking. Look for the open sign it’s relatively easy to find! Definitely a must stop eatery in Niagara!
We were in Niagara Falls for an evening en route to Ohio. The weather was appalling and after walking in the rain for best part of an hour trying to find somewhere to eat we came across this hidden gem. We only found it with the aid of Google maps as it is well hidden. It was late, but we were very well looked after, the food was really good, plenty of it and well priced. The service was excellent. I think the young lady was called Kate. All in all a very good experience. Would highly recommend.
We dined there last week (Nov. 13). Food was excellent. Very friendly & helpful staff. The atmosphere was inviting for a typical Pinoy resto. We tried 5 dishes, all superb. LOCATION = In a good, high traffic tourist area BUT the specific location/spot is NOT very visible to potential "impulse" customers. SALAMAT from Connecticut
The Mami House is an absolute gem. Walking in, you're greeted with warm, inviting aromas that promise a hearty meal, and the food delivers on that promise in every way. The standout star was, without a doubt, the Beef Short Ribs. They were fall-off-the-bone tender, incredibly flavorful, and simmered in a rich, savory broth that was deeply satisfying. The meat had that perfect melt-in-your-mouth texture that takes time and care to achieve. This dish alone is worth the visit. But the experience doesn't stop there. I was pleasantly surprised by the side soup that came with the meal. It wasn't an afterthought—it was deliciously savory and light, perfectly complementing the robust flavors of the short ribs. And just when I thought the meal couldn't get better, I tried the Halo-Halo. It was spectacular! The perfect balance of sweet, creamy, and refreshing, with just the right amount of textures from the beans, jellies, and crispy flakes. It’s the ideal, authentic finish to a rich meal. The service was friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe was cozy and authentic. The Mami House has mastered the art of Filipino comfort food, elevating classics with obvious care and quality ingredients. Highly recommended! Whether you're craving the phenomenal beef short ribs, a perfect bowl of mami, or that legendary halo-halo, The Mami House will leave you completely satisfied and already planning your next visit.
The Mami House is truly a hidden gem and the only Filipino cuisine spot in Niagara Falls, NY. The food was absolutely great — full of authentic flavors that reminded me of real Filipino home cooking. I tried the chicken adobo and beef pares, and both were cooked perfectly. The chicken adobo had that classic rich, savory flavor, and the beef pares was tender, comforting, and full of depth. The service was warm and welcoming, making the entire experience even better. It’s not easy to find genuine Filipino food in the area, so The Mami House is a real treasure. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious comfort food or wanting to try something new. I’ll definitely be coming back!
This restaurant is really great and I really recommend it! I'd say it's one of the best in the city! I was visiting the falls and staying nearby when I saw this place on the map. I was happy and surprised to see a Filipino restaurant in town! I got the Pancit Palabok and it was so well made. The noodles were well cooked and had a nice soft texture and the sauce was so flavorful. It was a pretty good portion and was filling, and the price was very reasonable, even considering the area. I was craving ice cream and had skipped the shops in the park and in town, and I'm glad I did because their Halo-Halo more than satisfied the craving. They serve it in a nice glass too which I hadn't seen at other Filipino spots. The two servers were very courteous and welcoming. The service was also pretty quick too! It's located at a really close distance from a lot of hotels and isn't far from the park, so if you're staying nearby or even visiting the park from further, it's a pretty easy walk to get here. The restaurant itself looks unassuming from the outside, it's part of the big apartment building, but they have a nice sign out. The inside was surprising. Once you enter from the hallway there's a cute map with pins place by visitors and there are old Filipino posters on the walls everywhere. They have booths, tables and a bar counter. It has two floors, too, which is pretty cool! Very clean too, including the bathrooms. Locals seem to like it here too, which is really nice to see. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone, even if you're not familiar with Filipino food, it's 100% worth a try!
One of the best Filipino restaurant we tried. We were visiting Niagara Falls and we were happy to find this Filipino restaurant. They cook their food upon order - not fast food. Their “sisig” was on point, their lomi was good too and they have halo-halo dessert and turon as well! Turon had langka in it and so authentic! YUM!
This place is really nice. Went there twice in two days stay in Niagara. Tried Savory Chicken, Pancit Bihon and fried fish. Taste of Savory Chicken is similar to Indonesian chicken dish and liked it so much that we ordered that both times of our visit there. Staff are very charming. Price is reasonable.
Delicious Filipino food at reasonable prices. Quick and attentive service. Halo-halo was just as delicious as anything I ever had back home. Beef pares overload was amazing, we highly recommend it.The only regret I have was not drinking Red Horse with the sisig (because I was driving after 😂)
this place was absolutely amazing! i went here with a big group, and the service was amazing. i loved the halo halo and cheesecake, 10/10 🙂↕️. the lumpias and sweet and sour sauce were great, too. portions were also very good. didnt get a photo of the cheesecake because i ended up eating it before my camera did, lol. definitely one of my favorite spots in this city during my visit!
Ironic that the one place I thought would be mediocre, actually ended up being the best in town! The main reason I was avoiding it, is because I thought it would be one of those cheap Asian takeout places, but this is actually a proper restaurant. The location is a bit strange, as it's located inside an apparent building, but the establishment itself is very nice and clean and the food was much better then expected, and the price was reasonable too. My favorite were the dumplings, fried chicken and vanilla ice cream. Their vanilla ice cream may have been the best I've ever had. Whatever the brown sauce was, was really good. The pork belly bits were my least favorite. They were out of cheese cake. Great ambiance, and the upstairs section was a lovely touch. One of the only non-Indian restaurants in this part of town. We ate here on our last evening and regretted that we didn't try this place sooner.
Great service! Our server Katelyn was so sweet. Nice atmosphere. Nice presentation. Parking available. Easy seating. Quality of food was good. Food needed more seasoning. We felt it was bland. Calamari was excellent. Chicken skewer/fried port belly- sauces that came with were tasty. Chicken skewer had nice flavor. Rice & pork belly had little flavor. Soup was very bland but better with soy sauce added. Sizzling Sisig had little flavor and tasted a bit burnt on the skillet. This was our first time eating Filipino cuisine so maybe this is typical. I expected it to be more flavorful.
I ordered the pork belly & skewers combo. Everything was fairly fresh and delicious, even though it was somewhat pricey for the portions. However, the service left much to be desired. The sign on the door said to wait to be seated, yet I stood there for minutes and no one showed me to a table. When my food arrived, the waitress didn’t give me any utensils. I thought surely she was gonna bring me a spoon and some chopsticks so I didn’t have to eat with my hands, but alas, I had to ask for them myself. To top it off, after I got and paid my check, the waitress never once said “thank you”. I recommend spending your money elsewhere if you were visiting the Falls.
