This place must be under new management/ownership. We'd given up on this branch years ago - chicken was tiny and burnt, and they were out of stock of everything. Fast forward, I've been there twice recently - the chicken is perfectly cooked and everything is delicious. So glad to have our El Pollo Loco back.

10.20.2025 Sherlyn is a very good employee. Told me everything about survey. But i dont do those. Just reviews... Love fast service. Double chicken salad is always delicious. This is my go to meal since I'm diabetic.

I love this new location! The folks here seem to really enjoy working here, and actually talk to the customers. You know like having a conversation. As compared to not cleaning tables and just talking to other staff. The food is always good like at other El Pollo Loco. But the caring attitude of the staff in this location gets them the ☆☆☆☆☆, and my loyalty. Keep up the good work, and good things come to good people.

Everything is always great when I come to the Norco location. Please cashiers there are always kind and courteous. The food is always fresh and hot, and the seating area is always kept clean. 5 stars!

Overall great experience, the staff are so polite and they usually can guess my order haha. The chips were pretty stale it was around 8pm so it may be because it was closer to the end of day.

Ordered the chicken quesadilla combo and there was very little chicken. Maybe 3 pieces per cut. About 5-6 tortillas chips. Customer service is lacking at this location. Side portions are tiny, barely enough for the five chips. Crazy how prices keep going up but quality goes down.

Went through the drive-thru and the wait was extremely long. I couldn't get of the line because there were cars waiting behind me. The service was poor, I asked the person taking my order didn't get my order correct and I asked her if there was salsa invmcluded with my order she says yes. Well... there was no salsa with my order. The chicken was dry and they used way too much seasoning on my chicken which made it super salty. I ordered a salad and it was not the quality I expected. The whole order and drive-thru was disappointing.

Went through the drive-thru and the wait was extremely long. I couldn't get of the line because there were cars waiting behind me. The service was poor, I asked the person taking my order didn't get my order correct and I asked her if there was salsa invmcluded with my order she says yes. Well... there was no salsa with my order. The chicken was dry and they used way too much seasoning on my chicken which made it super salty. I ordered a salad and it was not the quality I expected. The whole order and drive-thru was disappointing.

Every time I have gone to this particular location which is by my house the service has been horrible. On one occasion it was 30 minutes before closing and they told me they weren't taking any more orders at the drive-thru that was the last time I went until a few days ago.

I got right up to the menu, ordered and was pleased I didn't wait long. Usually chicken is really good. Today only 3 pieces out of the 8 pieces I ordered were edible. The others were dry and hard. I know that there are staff shortages, but that is not acceptable. The cold slaw was good.

Update: Pretty sure I got giardia from a salad I got from them on Dec 23rd. Update: They forgot an item so I went back through. The girl at the window was nice, the woman that ended up giving me my missed item said nothing to me, just handed it and shut the window. Then when I left, I realized they didn't give me utensils either. Had to go home to eat which wasn't the plan. I ordered my meal that included 2 sides, as two broccoli sides, and they didn't even fill one of them all the way. Then got to my last piece of chicken to find feathers. I get that small feathers get missed sometimes but theses are big, made me lose my appetite. Spent 20 minutes in the drive thru with no movement. When I got to the window, this was the second time the girl handed me my food without a word, leaving me to wonder if she had given me everything or not. It's not that hard to say "And here's your food," or "Have a nice day," even if it's just to let the person know they can drive away.

On 4/6/22 at 1:17pm I had the worst drive thru experience. First of all I waited almost 25 min on the line. The attender: 155 Carla.R was super rude.. I understand that the store might not have some items available on the menu. But she could have simply said .. Welcome and I’m sorry but we only have chicken and sides available nothing else on the menu. She waited till I asked for 3 different meals and denied me. When I finally got to the window she said nothing she took my card. Passed me my bag and Turned around never giving me my drink. So I was waiting for her to return with it and 2 mins later she shows up.. no drink and I said excuse me can I have my drink? She asked me what I ordered and I said Fanta orange And she finally returns with it.. Seriously If you dont like your job get another. I wasted my all my lunch hour on the line and when I finally reached her she was the one slowing down the whole drive tru with her lack of customer service skills.

I'm usually not disappointed with Pollo Loco and I was hesitant on going to this location in Norco. I decided to try it and it was not good, chicken was burned and dry and the mash potatoes was a little burnt too. $40. family meal down the drain. I could have returned it but I didn't want to drive back

Im normally cool about this, but this place constantly forgets to give me chips and other sides. I order alot and will forgive one or twice, but this happens constantly. I dot. Have enough time for my lunch so I often just grab my food and go. I eat here constantly and it happens way too often.

When order an item from cashier and got resistance when I requested to have my chips that comes with the meal to be warmed, it is 8:30 at night and I come here during my start of night shift , to to pick up a meal before I start work. But each time I order a meal especially the quesadillas and chips and drink. My meal is warm except for the chips or ice cold ! I requested to have my kids at least microwave to a point of being warm and the cashier refused to do so. In the cashier says she is not allowed to warm up the chips in the microwave and Nora the chips are fresh to be warm to be served ! Therefore the meal don't seem as fresh or as pleasant to go eat or consume ! I simply just walked out when she told me she couldn't do nothing with the chips to warm them up so I did not purchase anything and I just walked out ! If I couldn't get what I want to eat I'll go somewhere else to eat ! Preferably somebody that has more freshable items to eat that are needed to be more comfortable to eat. Cold chips and salsa do not seem to be authentic as a Mexican dish to be served. Because of refusal of service requested for customers dish to be warm up is why for this report.

I was extremely disappointed with the food here. I ordered a12 piece w/rice and potatoes. First the wait time was ridiculous waited at least 20-30 minutes, then got home & food looked so unappealing, the chicken was burnt on the top and super dry. The rice was burnt and hard which wasn’t cooked fully. I will not be returning here because it was a waste of money. The food was awful and spent $35 on it. I have to be honest about it and good luck if you do go there, hope it’s better than our experience was.

I come to this location at least once a week to pick up lunch before my 12 hour shift. I almost always order the same meal. A classic chicken burrito with a side of mac n cheese and cilantro dressing. Today I seriously had the worst experience here. Instead of the drive thru associate making sure my whole order was in my bag she lectured me about how I would have to start paying for the cilantro dressing. I didn't realize my order was incomplete until I got to work. I tried to have a positive out look on the situation but then I actually ate my food and the chicken and beans were burnt and the chips were very stale. Now I have to go back to this location tomorrow and get a refund for the part of my meal that was not given to me which is very inconvenient.

Food was terrible and it got me sick. It was a very slow hour and the cashier with coke bottle eyeglasses and looser attitude took his time to ring up my order after making eye contact. Lazy looser attitude. Not sure if he made my burrito after taking my order but I will say yes. Same lazy attitude went into making my food. I was out in suck a bad mood bc of this atmosphere I decided to throw the food away and leaves. Never to return. I suggest u do the same. From this location.
