a large menu, friendly staff and plenty of seating available. you need to follow CDC guidelines, mask while standing and no more than 4 persons per table. service was quick and our orders came out quickly, large portions .first time inside the restaurant, will definitely go back
I was short on time so I called in a spaghetti dinner to eat in , I walked in paid for my dinner and within 2 mins I was eating my salad , then having my dinner. Food was great , staff is polite . I noticed place was very clean along with the staffs attire .
We always enjoy eating here; subs, wings, pizza... to pasta dinners! Always clean, young but friendly staff. Decent prices. And they have a drive thru!!
As a kid, I'd go collect money from my newspaper route just to get enough cash for a medium Baron pizza (about $3.80 at that time). Still the same great tasting pizza decades later - only difference is now I don't have to go collecting anymore, the pizza is a little more expensive and I'm a lot older! Thanks for many many years of awesome food.
No matter what a few bad reviews can say about Brunner's, we have been eating here since they opened in 1978. My Family and Friends from out of town think this is Buy Far the Best pizza joint in Town. Great food and good Service, keep up the good work and hopefully many more years of great food. 👍🏽
Clean, cool atmosphere, amazing food for ridiculously amazing prices. Went here after the ridge with friends. I can't believe I didn't know about it before! We will definitely be back. Quite a variety of food options as well
My boyfriend and I frequent Brunners often, and we've never had bad food or a bad experience. Tonight however, I really had something that is my new favorite, and you'll either judge me or with me on this. Order a create your own pizza, with garlic butter (for sauce), mozzarella cheese, ham, and extra dill pickles. I love dill pickles and this REALLY hit the spot! I cannot say enough good things about it. Brunners is our trusty spot, always know we can go there for fresh food, good prices and friendly staff!
All the soups are delicious! The subs have a ton of meat and sesame seed sub rolls are available and so good. Homemade apple crisp with icecream and caramel sauce for dessert too!
Brunners pizza has been consistently the BEST I've had for as long as he's been in business. I've driven 40 miles twice in the past 2 weeks just to get some. Everything else I've tried is really good too!
I believe it’s one of the best pizza’s in Western New York. From the crust , sauce, cheese ,and toppings down right delicious . Family friendly a great place to go after a hike at Chestnut Ridge park.
Love that they have such GREAT gf pizza. Plus many other good food. My family talks about how full they make their grinders and hamburgers are so tasty.
Fantastic food, service and hospitality! A great place to grab a variety of different types foods! Definitely Kimmy-Sue Tested and Approved! 🇺🇲💖💋
This place is worth stopping into. The ceiling is so cool! I had this steak sandwich called a bomber that was so good that I went back the following week for a repeat performance! They serve apple crisp like mom made also.. so good makes me miss mom just thinking about it!
My family and I just ordered take out today and the food was phenomenal!
One of my all time favorites. Nice staff, great seating that can hold a large amount of people, nice decor, a couple TVs, and the food.. Omg the food. Their pizza and wings are to die for. High quality, large pizza and wings, you WILL NOT leave hungry.
Dined in and this was our first time at Brunner’s. Five Star, hands down! The staff was nice, the food was amazing and it was such a great, clean atmosphere. Wishing we would have tried your pizza but all our food was awesome, gives us a reason to come back soon.
My family and I have been going to Brunner's Eatery for over 20 years and we are big fans of their food and modern atmosphere. They have excellent pizza, subs, and fingers. Their menu is quite extensive and they have a convenient drive-through as well.
Been coming to brunners for years. Love the atmosphere!! The girls at the counter are always very nice. Food is always great and the restaurant is always so clean. It takes a lot of hard work to make it look as easy as you all do. Great job everyone keep up the great work.
Great Irish bar and grill!! Great prices!! Reasonable prices in these days of hardship for everybody. Simple menu. Homey atmosphere. Conveniently located in the Clarence Mall Main and Transit. Great food!! Give them a try!! Support our Restuarants and farmers. They need us!!
The girl at the drive through, super nice and friendly. I believe it is the same young lady who took my phone order. Also very pleasant on the phone. Who ever made my chicken taco did an excellent job. Thanks I have been going to Brunners almost 30 years. One of the best experienced July 13 2020 approximately 2100 2130.They werent even upset when I called for another one at 15 minutes before closing. Thank you very much
Food has always been good, workers are nice, and it's really cool to see an owner greeting customers and working behind the counter getting his hands dirty after I'm guessing over 30 years of business. Thank you Brunners ( the Barron bomber, loaded fries, all pizzas and wings, and gluten free pizzas are yummy )
The perfect place to watch a Bills game over pizza and wings! Cozy and inviting atmosphere, with the most delicious foods.
I got the Baron Bomber. The chicken in it was the best chicken I have had in a long time, especially in a fast to go sandwich place. The sandwich was so good, by friend in the car with me ended up sneaking bites while I was not looking.
Brunner’s is such a great place. We have been going there for as long as I can remember. The pizza and specials are great, and the staff is always friendly.
I drive out of my way for the fast friendly service I recieve there. Food is always excellent. Dinning area is always clean and organized. My personal opinion is they provide a very consistent good business
This place is great! We happened to stop randomly one night on a long ride home from work. We definitely picked the "to go" spot. They were super busy. They make a wide range of pizzas but also have many other things, they have a small alcohol selection and a drive up window. The employees work together in harmony, making it seem flawless, and I believe I counted at least 8 of them. .and Not one standing around. I got the impression this is the type of boss or owner, maybe management, who treats employees right and runs a decent business. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area again.
Fun place, affordable open late, and had a rare quality of clean/quality without feeling stuffy or like you put on airs. I was painting yesterday and... Well a little gross, my son said he wanted to buy the family ice cream, and we all went at 10pm, just as we were. Like it a lot!
Can't beat the Lunch Specials All this food ,at a reasonable cost Stop by & see for yourself
I wish I could get them 10 stars. We had pizza and pretzel bread both were excellent. Unfortunately I didn't order the wings but they smelled great and were huge. Definitely will go back and give them a try. The staff was very friendly and fast.
This was my favorite go to place until we moved to VA. We were back in town and had to do lunch there. Didn't disappoint at all. Great food.
Excellent local pizzeria.. The drive through window to pick up takeout is awesome
Dine in or take out you can't go wrong ben a long time customer, and tried the white pizza for the first time best we've ever had
Got a pizza the past two days for lunch Tuesday and Wednesday. It is the best I’ve seen in a while. The crust was nice and big like a buffalo pizza should and looked amazing ! Thank you
Tonight I ordered a bucket of wings with a somewhat non essential request to give me one predominantly style wing to another and they responded awesomely !!! I couldn't be happier with my order !! Only complaint.. got shorted 4 blue cheese but the trade off was damn near worth it !! Fantastic food and service. !!
Always amazing service by the staff. Went in today with my 1 year old and was extremely happy with the cleanliness and thoughtfulness of the high chairs / restaurant. Having high chairs with a placemat attached may not seem like that big of a deal but it makes such a difference, along with them being immaculately clean. Food was perfect, as usual.
Food was fast and tasty. Had chicken parm dinner with a salad and would order this again. Price point is comfortable and plenty of seating as well as a drive thru for take out
Great little place with awesome pizza, an amazing tuna melt, and some goated deep fried mushrooms.
It's startling these days to have teenagers look you in the eye, say please and thank you, demonstrate patience when you're deciding, and generally just be really pleasant. But that's what ALWAYS happens at Brunner's. Always. And the food is always good. I recommend adding a chef salad (serves three or four) based solely on the freshness of the iceberg lettuce. Just make sure to get an extra dressing, because you get a lot of salad.
Great food always. They have a Wing and slice deal, perfect lunch portion and ready insta try at a great price. No complaints.
I picked up a fried bologna on Friday. 10/3/25 to go. It was the best fried bologna sandwich that I ever had. Thank you!
I was visiting up here for a few weeks and a family friend said I should try a Royal Sub while here. Stopped at Brunner's today and got one. Holy Crap! Can't believe I've never had a sub like this before. I'm sure they're good all over Buffalo but this one made my tongue slap the back of my brain! Perfectly toasted. Put together nicely! Fresh ingredients! 5 stars! Will be back next time we're in town!
Clean, delicious, best service! I do order my pizza extra crispy! If not slightly doughy.
This place rocks in all aspects! Giant menu to select from, awesome service leading to a great culinary experience! Always the place to go to get your hunger cured. The goodies, treats and oh those shakes-so good! 😊 🥰
Brunner’s Eatery is a fantastic spot that truly has something for everyone! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it an ideal place for families and children to enjoy a meal together. The food is amazing, with a menu full of delicious options like subs, chicken, wings, and pizza. Their fried food and pizza are standout favorites—crispy, flavorful, and always satisfying. Everything feels authentic and local, which adds a special charm to the dining experience. Great service and all employees are very friendly Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or a family dinner, Brunner’s Eatery never disappoints. Highly recommended for great food and a welcoming vibe!
Taco pizza was delicious (but could use a little spice) ,chicken soulvaki salad was fresh , just right. Sevice was good even though only 1 girl working counter and takeout window , will return !!!!
Very adequate food and service, somewhat of a local icon. Has been open for a great deal of time, and as a result, seems to have the whole deal of being a luncheonette under control. The food was not the best, but it certainly was inexpensive, efficient, and not a waste of time or trouble for us.
It has great fish fries. The pizzas are average but the pizza you buy by the slice has always really good. I also like the drive thru. Saves time. I have never waited at drive thru.
Fantastic food, quick service and great atmosphere
This used to be my favvvvvorite pizza place. Good flavor, and a thinner crust is what made it a winner. The past few times I've been there, the crust is thicker, and I find the flavor to not be quite the same. It's still good, for sure, but I'm bummed it lost the old style I loved. The staff is always great, it's a nice eating area, great spot for after a game, good appetizers, and a variety of ice cream choices too!
The food is pretty good. You can get a fish fry anytime, not just Fridays. They also have milkshakes. The staff is nice. Doesn't take to long to receive food, depends on time of day. Reasonably priced.
I recently dined at Brunner's and ordered their steak sub and mozzarella sticks. Overall, I was quite pleased with the experience. The steak sub was delicious, with tender meat and flavorful toppings that left me satisfied. The mozzarella sticks were also a hit; they were perfectly crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, just the way I like them. However, I did find the prices to be a bit on the higher side. While the quality of the food justified the cost to some extent, it might not be the most budget-friendly option for those looking for an economical meal. Overall, Brunner's offers tasty food, particularly the steak sub and mozzarella sticks, but be prepared to spend a little more for the quality you receive.
What a really unique and fun place to eat! They're very similar to Anderson's: no gratuity, diverse menu, soft serve ice cream. They have pizza that is 'pretty' good; it's ALMOST authentic Buffalo pizza. Sorrento whole-milk mozzarella, Margherita Cup-N-Char pepperoni -- but they don't put enough sauce on. Still, for being out near the country, I'd imagine it's some of the best pizza. I'd highly recommend and would have given them 5 Stars, except that the staff that was on that day, were not the friendliest bunch. Brunner's should consider hiring Anderson's to teach them about staffing, and training... especially with respect to customer service.
Dining room is somewhat dated, and the carpets need some work. But the food is always spectacular, it’s almost like a place frozen in time in regards to the atmosphere. A staple of the Buffalo-area and an amazing place to take the family.
Got pizza and wings on my way home from work. Pizza was good. Wings could have been more crispy as I ordered Xtra crispy.
Been coming here since they moved from across the street to this larger building. Food is decent as of the last couple years it can be hit or miss though seems like quality depends whos cooking that day , Staff is ALWAYS very friendly which is a rarity today in retail . Overall good establishment
Always fresh slices. Enjoyable eat in experience. Very chill there. Decent food. Just hits the spot.I always like to sit in for a dine in. They have spices and cheese to shake on your items. A nice little condiment bar and a fountain drink machine with multiple choices. I go for the double cheese and pepperoni small pizza. Delicious Lots of spots to sit inside and out, this is a really top notch place for pizza. Has a pickup drive thru window too. Fresh slices also available. They have an extensive menu of other foods.
French Onion soup delicious. Waited an hour for a salad and cheeseburger. All phone orders were told 20 minutes. They also waited for their orders. Don't order if there is a home football game!!
Food is decently good! Highly recommend the Mac n cheese bites! My only three complaints is that if you ask for extra crispy wings, they are still soggy, the one girl cook in the back I saw wasn’t even wearing gloves while cooking, and there were three girls in the front going to serve food and as someone’s order of fries came out, the one waitress stuck her nasty hands in the fries and said “oops some fries fell out” and proceeded to take those fries and put them on the counter for her and two of the other girls and her started eating the fries off the counter and then she served those fries that she stuck her hands into to the customers and said nothing. I was highly disgusted and disappointed with that.
Normally never an issue, tonight we went into a fairly empty restaurant, ordered wings and waited about a half hour. I went and asked what the hold up was and was told they'd be out in a minute. My husband then watched them take a large takeout container to the back, and then our winds and fries came out. They were not hot. The wings were soggy. Definitely not just out of the fryer
I ordered loaded pierogies and a cup of Buffalo chicken wing soup. The food was good, but not the best I've ever had. The soup was thicker than I was expecting, but it was tasty. It could have been warmer. The pierogies were yummy, but I wish they gave me real silverware.
The painting on the ceiling was outstanding, their drive-through business was unbelievable, ten or more vehicles in line the entire time I was there. Five or six people were waiting for their takeout orders the entire time we were there. One person was cashing out and taking orders inside. The holdup wasn't the counter person though, there were a bunch of people working in the kitchen and all seemed busy but still every customer was waiting to be served. It seemed like kitchen staff were working hard but inefficiently for a place as busy as they were. The food was good once it finally came. There was plenty of food but that said for a Pizza restaurant the service was very slow. We waited nearly 40 minutes for an antipasti salad and an order of wings. Once the food was delivered to the table we never seen our server again. The problem wasn't the quality or amount of food, obviously, people liked what they got or they wouldn't be so willing to wait so long for their order. The wait times bordered on ridiculous. I believe that what they needed was a good kitchen manager who was intuitive to the needs of the incoming order volume to speed the order fill process and move through the carryout and drive-through customers so they could spend more time with the done in patrons. Diners expect good food, sufficient quantity to give value, service that is friendly and accurate and timely, well two out of three makes the difference between me coming back or not. If they had better service and a faster response time, they would go from just average to positively great. Just my opinion I know, but I passed other restaurants that were just as busy to go to as this one.
Food was very good and served in a timely manner. Spacious seating. Some employees friendly, others kinda cold though. Owner very rude! would not honor an old certificate, even though it said, never expires.(I understand he had bad experiences with the company, but that's not my fault, so I'm out $12.50, actually a couple dollars more because they did not offer deal pricing on pizza/wings combos. He was never said, sorry.)
Usually I've always gotten good food from here but, the past 2 orders I've gotten were very disappointing. I got a pizza and payed almost $20 and it had barely had any cheese and pepperoni, was mainly crust and sauce. Than today I got a steak sub with peppers and onions and again barely any meat just all peppers and onions and really not even cooked. Payed over $20 for that, so about $40 down the drain for not even mediocre food.
Disappointed today. Ordered burgers & onion rings. Everything was way overdone and the burgers took 22 minutes.
Ordered small cheese onion mushroom pizza. Very disappointed in the canned mushrooms. Like eating tiny dirty old sponges. Not a fan. Typically satisfied with just plain cheese but would have hoped for quality toppings.
Used to go here often. The food and quantities have depreciated in the past few years. Tonight, I ordered a taco and got chips with it. A tiny amount, like an afterthought. So I went up and asked for more, thinking it was a mistake. The counter girl was very friendly but she asked a short bearded man for more chips. He put maybe 4 on the plate with a disgusted look on his face. I doubt the price of the chips is coming out of his pocket. Won't be back soon.
Pizza is very good basic Buffalo style pizza . Wings are blah , not horrible but mind of undercooked. The worst was their dinner salad browning lettuce and all white hunks ...huge miss....if u go for slices , fine but everything else blows
Best pizza in town, love their food . I just wish the people taking order would listen better. I havecto repeat everything and the order still gets screwed up. I told them several times and i just hate spending good money and getting sub par service
Looks like a decent sit down restaurant until no waitress ever comes to the table. Order like fast food, take a number & sit. I got jalapeno poppers which were good. I also got a "Reuben" on soggy bread. It was horrible. My food was literally slid on the table without a "can I get u anything else" or "how is everything so far". The less than satisfactory sandwich I got came just as seen in the picture... thanks for the bottom of the chip bag, Brunners! Not even close to worth $15.xx! Only good thing to say is the place seemed pretty clean.
What happened? I picked up a pizza and wing combo with a royal sub. The pizza wasn't fully cooked, I had to cling to the top of the slice for the whisper of cheese to last beyond the first bite. The wings seemed like you got a bad batch w bone exposed on the flats and anorexic drums. I was told the sub was "ok, I guess."
Food is so so. Not the worst, but not the best, even if they can get it right. 3 out of 5 times, something is wrong. Complaining doesn’t help, even if it’s to a manager. Today was my last try…figuring it’s a busy day because of the Bills game, I order and expect to wait for a while. After 1.5 hours, I call to see how much longer. Even though I paid with a cc card on the phone and told them I would tip in cash, my food sits, waiting to be picked up. They have my phone number, I’m a regular customer they should’ve known wouldn’t stiff them on an order. Why not call me? Then she hangs up on me! Maybe hire some adults instead of a bunch of school kids would help 🤔
I really used to love this place. The pizza is still great and a good price. But almost 9 out of 10 times I order wings they aren't even sauced. It doesn't matter if I add a note or click on the 'extra saucy' when I order. It's extremely frustrating when you look forward to not having to cook for once and then nobody follows directions or reads the notes. It's getting to the point I'm gonna go back to paying an arm and a leg at Ninos Pizza just to get my wings how I like them.
This restaurant use to be great. Unfortunately the quality and more so costumer service has gone down hill. The last two orders we received were wrong and burnt. When I called to let them know I was put on hold and treated very rudly by their so called manager. She offered a 3 dollar credit. I told her that was not necessary. I was just simply disappointed in the burnt food, mistakes AND RUDENESS. She cut me off and said they were busy for lunch and did not have time listen. We will no longer support this locally food company who can't respect there costumers.
If I could give this place a 1 star I would have...but sadly Google won't allow this. I stopped in for a nice night out with my boyfriend, decided to go to Brunner's pizza...wow I wish I would have tried Bella's. We stopped In, it wasn't to busy at 5:09pm, there was no line yet they seemed very busy and preoccupied with other things. They didn't even acknowledge us standing in line, or the fact we hadn't placed a order. I believe the manager even saw us standing there and didn't seem to care. There were several other servers, and other workers who could have taken our order, yet we continued to wait. Finally the manager took our order, the whole time he was taking our order he kept looking at other people. He was very unattentive. He messed up our order once, and kept forgetting small things like pop.. finally he placed our order it was $40 . We grabbed our pops and sat down..should have just left..or asked for a refund. We continued to sit for what seemed like forever..finally we got sick of sitting around. My boyfriend, decided to go to the front and ask about where our order was. The excuse was that they had lost our order...which I find hard to believe when my sub the whole time was sitting in the heat window... We got our food..of course my boyfriends pizza was hot he was happy...I had a chicken sub which was cold, which was supposed to be hot!!! When I looked at the receipt to see what time we had gotten there at I was shocked!!! We had waited for a hour to get our food. An hour. When it wasn't busy at all. This is absolutely rediclious!!! Next time save your money go to Bella's .. or another pizza joint. We have gone here several times and haven't had too many problems...but this is stupid..and will never go again! No discount no refund...nothing. the owner should be ashamed of his staff and or at least come to the tables and apologize!! Very unhappy. Will NOT BE RETURNING. *** 1/2/2020 recently updated also the owner of the restaurant ONLY replys when there is a negative comment. If it's a good review he leaves it alone..I don't see how this is being fair? It's a review, I ate at your restaurant and didn't have a good experience!!! The least you could do is apologize for your mistake of having to wait for more than a hour for our food!! We live rather close to your eatery and have been in here before! We have had small minor problems before, but this is rediclious. Waiting for over a hour for food and then TO NOT have a manager come over to our table and apologize, but still charge us FULL PRICE for our meals, is beyond BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! We saw the sub sitting in the heat window yet it remained to sit there, for a whole hour..until the pizza was ready! I'm a cook, I understand how it gets busy and sometimes backed up but you had a full staff of very hard working people back there so what I don't understand is how come it took so long for a small pizza when the restaurant itself wasn't packed? I saw 2 people maybe in that hour come to pick up their to go orders? Yet you or your staff just sat around in the front?? I get it you hire college girls to attract local business, but the least they could or yourself could have done was bring half of our order out!! So we could have both had something to eat...but NOOOO. SO YEP your right this is a fake response!! Haha funny. How a machine could write all this and have a opinion. I feel sorry for you and sorry for how you treat people who have a REAL REVIEW, And a real opinion. YOU of all people know that your a liar cause you took our order!!! You stood around waited..no one took our order...then proceeded to take the guy who was standing behind us his order...when I said "noo we were first" You said ooo Stella's are my favorite beer. As my boyfriend wanted to originally try Budweiser(which was in the cooler we saw it as we walked out- he basically said it was out, so he could over charge us for 2 more expensive beers) you are rude and should be ashamed! Bad Manager here!! Please go to BELLAS IN BOSTON WAY NICER TO DEAL WITH!!
Food arrived an hour late (2 hours total), fries cold and soggy along with the sub and taco that were also cold (suppose to be hot). This isn't the 1st time its happened, this has been a reoccurring thing. When we called they said they couldn't do anything about it. Do not reccomend this place in boston NY. They will forget stuff often (that was paid for) the owner will say they are to busy to fix it. Fries come cold or soggy 80% of the time, the pizza comes cold about 50%. Giant waste of money, not worth the wait for hassle
The owner and his son are extremely misogynistic and rude. Apparently we are not the first people to think so over the years either. Former and current employees can and have confirmed the disgusting comments and actions. High prices and often rude employees, especially “Haylee S”. We decided to give it a try after many years and this girl shut the drive thru window in the middle of us answering her question... didn’t say a single word to us for the rest of the transaction. This is a terrible business to give your money to for so many reasons.
One star due to SNAILS PACE service, and the place wasn't busy. I had a 1/2 hr for lunch, I waited the whole time plus for my food and still had to go to the counter to get it and found out it was sitting there for about 10 minutes. Probably won't go there again. This is not the place for a quick bite. The food was 4 stars.
My family has long been patrons of Brunners, we order several times per week at least. The food used to always be good. The last few months, our orders have been consistently wrong and the service horrendous. Most recently, we ordered two salads with chicken and eggplant parmesan. There was no chicken in the salads, the garlic bread was overdone and wrapped in paper no foil, side salad was forgotten, and there was only a forkful of spaghetti in the eggplant parm. We called back and were told we would have to come all the way back to get the missing items as there were no more deliveries for the night (it was 8:20pm). The order will allegedly be credited but we have to call back and speak with the owner tomorrow. The phone was answered by a snotty, rude teenager who should not be directing traffic at the drive thru, making cars circle until the order is cold instead of having them wait a few minutes, much less handling incorrect orders/customer complaints. It is sad to see such a decline in this business that used to be so reliable.
Service is getting slower and slower and food is getting worse. Twice I have waited over an hour for my food. The first time they completely forgot about us. When we did get our food it was cold Edit... This service is getting worse. I ordered a ham sub and got it the exact opposite way that I ordered it. I called to have it exchanged and got the replacement wrong also..i have left my number for the owner 3 times and haven't received a response. I believe the staff threw out my request for the owner to call me.
They sure aren't big on customer service. I ordered from online menu. Subs are supposed to be $2 off full sub on Tuesday. What I thought I should pay was $5 less than what they thought. I mentioned this and was told they applied the coupon. When I mentioned the online menu, I was told their prices went up. I worked in retail/customer service. I would have honored the online price. When I discussed this with the manager, I got an "oh well' attitude. Cappelli's is worth the extra couple miles to Orchard Park.
I love the food everything is perfect. What wasn’t perfect is when the girl at the drivethru window wants to say she hates people because I had to pay some of my order in change. You shouldn’t assume people can’t read lips. I felt embarrassed by this. It’s the holiday season I just paid all my bills to have someone mock me because I use change to pay. Money is money honey and I don’t think someone who hates people should be working somewhere where you deal with people everyday all day. This was absolutely rude.
Wow...the extremely snarky responses from the owner to anything that isn't positive or agreeable is terrible. Considering this establishment has been in business so long I would assume by now that you are aware that you can't please everyone all the time however you should also know good customer service goes a very long way. Being rude and ccondescending to people who came in to your business and spent their money is uncalled for...even if you don't agree with their comments. If you feel someone is stating facts that are simply not true there are much better ways to address it. These rude responses were the exact reason we did not choose this business off Yelp today. Customers are how you make your money, you should always keep that in mind.
I am a long standing regular here and I am completely dumbfounded by my latest experience. At 9:20 pm I called to order a steak baron bomber which is my usual. I was told the grills were off for the night. I asked what time they close at. The answer 10 pm. I stated it is 9:20 and was met with "we close early so we can get out on time" I asked atain what time they close. Again the answer was 10 and that the grills take a while to clean. This is not the first time this has happened as of late however the previous time that it happened it was closer to 9:45 and I can understand that. This coupled with the inconsistencies in the bomber has led me to post this. Beware, it appears their hours may vary by when the employees want to go home. Update: the day following this incident I received a call from the owner assuring me these incidents were being followed up on. We had a rather lengthy conversation where he even thanked me for the review so he could get to the bottom of it. Given the prompt and complete follow up and customer satisfaction concerns of the owner this place deserves a 5 star review.
Finally convinced my wife to give Brunners a try as she had heard, from a reliable source, their kitchen was disgusting. Ordered pizza and wings and have to say it was hands down the worst we've ever had. The pie had little to no cheese covering the pizza and the bottom of the crust wasn't burnt but it was hard and crunchy. The wings, ordered medium, had zero sauce on them. I mean zero, like they forgot. Couldn't even see any sauce on the foil in the bottom of the box. The staff was friendly and the payment/pickup experience was good.
We have patronized Brunner's Eatery for more than 25 years. Last week we ordered our usual large cheese & pepperoni, with an order of BBQ wings. The wings tasted like they took an old medium or hot order of wings and poured BBQ sauce on them and sold them to us. My wife and I couldn't eat them, so I called to let them know. I was told that they would make us another order or put an order on credit for our next visit. I thanked them and asked to have the credit. This evening we order our usual and when I arrived they told me the owner approved a $10 credit towards the unsatisfactory wings they sold us. We paid $30.39 plus tax for the wings we had to throw out, and now one week later they would not stand behind their word and/or food. Plain and simple, they lied to us. I was taken back when the on shift manager had to ask the owner who happened to be eating with other's to see if he could get his permission to stand behind his word and food. I told the manager, I am taken back that we were lied too and I will NEVER patronize Brunner's Eatery EVER again!
I ordered delivery and it took some time. The food was lousy, both the pizza and chicken wings were UNDERCOOKED. Unfortunately, I took this location to the Town of Boston NY Small Claims Court, where a judgement was posted on the court's record, (I sued to get a refund, [that includes the court cost's I paid,]) unfortunately...Mr. Brunner's business practices'...along with the fact that the NY Courts hasn't caught up with his business and he...where's my refund? Perhaps "judge" Debra Bender can defend her and the NY Courts inaction at proper resolution? It's too bad that Poor People that have to go to court as Poor People without counsel Pro Se get no proper recourse under law. NYCOURTS.GOV Index#801956/2019...A NY CHILD VICTIMS ACT Civil Suit. For any of you out there "curious" and choose to read the court filing and documents'... go to the website... www.nycourts.gov Perform a docket search at the ELECTRONIC COURT FILINGS part of the website...when you get to the search function...FIND ERIE COUNTY NY STATE SUPREME COURT...CHOOSE ERIE COUNTY NY STATE SUPREME COURT... When you get to index #...type in, (just like this,)... 801956/2019 . I don't remember the index-docket number for the filing in the Town of Boston NY Small Claims Court, even though NYS A.G. James is "supposed" to do her job, and the NYCOURTS OFFICE OF INSPECTOR GENERAL HASN'T "PLAYED CATCH UP," YET EITHER...WILLIAM BRUNNER HAVE ANYTHING TO SAY, SINCE HE'S GOT AN ENFORCABLE JUDGEMENT AGAINST HIS BUSINESS AND HIM?
Placed an order and when I got the food the 10 pierogies were missing. I called to notify store they stated they would write it down for next order I make. Called back few weeks later to place an order and no record of this mistake on their end and refused to make it right. Very poorly handled by a place I regularly would order from.
Service from the counter is always great. But when offered a new sub for a wrong one or store credit, the owner thinks an acceptable credit is $1. Disappointing having been customer for years. Slap in the face
I've frequented brunners literally since they opened their doors, but today for the first time ever, the customer service gets a 0 rating in my book. I've NEVER ordered a mini sub in my life. Today I ordered two WHOLE subs, because I like the Tuesday whole sub $2 discount. It wasnt until I got home I realized I was given two mini subs. I called to state the mistake and the girl on the phone was so mean! Argued with me, telling me that I orderd mini subs, and that I made the mistake, not her. She was so rude! I've never ordered a mini in my life! Then she claimed that she doesnt make mistakes, and was YELLING at me, then hung up on me!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! ACCORDING TO MY RECEIPT HER NAME WAS JILL AND THE RUDEST PERSON IVE EVER DEALT WITH WHEN IT COMES TO A MISTAKEN FOOD ORDER AND IT WAS HER MISTAKE, NO NEED TO BE YELLED AT AND HUNG UP ON! I like Brunners food but the interaction I received today makes me sick when I think about how I was blamed and treated by this girl. I did ask to speak to a manager but she also claimed she was the manager. No manager who's properly trained would treat their customer like that.
The worse service, food I have every eaten. Waited 30 minutes for our French fríes which came out first. Asked where the rest was and was told it would be right out. 15 minutes later it arrived. My cheeseburger was could and tasted awful. DO NOT RECVOMEND THIS PLACE!!
