Food was phenomenal! The green chili is absolutely delicious. The lady who refilled chips, salsa and drinks was on it. Never had to ask for a more. Towards the end the service seemed to slow but over was great!

It was good. However we were crammed into a table that really couldn't seat 6. It was impossible to move. The food lacks heat. The waitress was great. Very attentive.

First time here. I would say the green chili and salsa were the highlight here. The service was super friendly and efficient. Gave it so/so on atmosphere and 4 stars on food as it genuinely feels like Mexican comfort food in a diner type of setting and my dish was pretty good (chile rellenos) but my husband's enchiladas were just okay nothing great.

The food and service were great. Nobody can beat how fast the food comes out and how delicious it is! LD's has been a spot my mom and I've gone to since the early 90s in downtown Denver. I love it so much! The only thing that hung me up about it on this go is that the booths are not plus size friendly. I love a booth, so I asked for one, but the tables don't budge as they're attached to the walls. Aside from that, everything was excellent!

This place was recommended to me by a local who has been going to this place for the last 17 years. It did not disappoint. The shredded beef burrito was incredibly flavorful and they have no problem letting you customize to your liking. I waited about 15 minutes during their busy lunch hours. Customer service could use a little work but I would definitely go back! Also a bonus, they are very reasonably priced!

It has been 15 years since we have dined here. They are efficient at getting people in and out. The food is mediocre for Mexican food. It will due in a pinch.

Food was ok, drinks are in tall glasses which is great, quickness of food coming to our table was quicker than the waitress coming to our table to take the order. Parking lot is small but there is more parking space across the street from entrance.

Sadly this place looks like a hidden gem but the food is very bland which is sad as I truly wanted to like this place, the margarita special was a great price but for bland watered down margaritas it wasn’t great, the pettiness of charging for extra chips and salsa when your paying for full meals is just petty! Service was excellent however!

Ordered the Mexican hamburger and the meat patty was terrible, dry and tough. I don’t know what that was about, because we’ve had it before and it was a regular hamburger patty. They’ve always been pretty consistent, but they’re starting to slip here and there. Had a taco salad a while back and the tortilla shell wasn’t fresh at all, like it had been cooked a few days ago.

Very disappointed. We went in during dinner time on a Tuesday. My husband is black and already felt the racism from the man who sat us he gave attitude when I asked if we could get a booth. Then they asked for out drink order we ordered coffee. My husband’s coffee cup had a ring in the cup as if it wasn’t even washed the coffee was so cold. He asked the waitress for a new cup and showed her the dirty cup she didn’t even say anything she just took the cup and was upset because we asked for a new cup. Then when I pay the bill I absolutely tipped at what I felt she deserved they looked at me like I was crazy. She outta be glad they got a tip at all. Do better! ..

Absolutely disgusting.. my husband was eating and found a q-tip in his potatoes. All of this happened in front of the waitress. We said please get the manager and this guy comes to our table and says "we don't have those things here, so I'm going to check our cameras and call the cops." Naturally that escalated the situation and my husband got up yelling and told him to check the cameras and call the police. We will be happy to wait. He then changed his tune and said just go, I took your bill off. Not only was he unapologetic, but extremely rude and instead of being customer service oriented, he was accusatory. We have been eating here for years, but you can bet we never will again.

From the outside, this place looked like a hidden gem. The parking lot was always packed, and since it was close to our Airbnb, my two friends and I decided it had to be worth trying. We walked in expecting authentic Mexican food and a fun dinner. The first sign things weren’t quite right was the sticky booth we were seated at. We ordered waters and margaritas, which were advertised for $5, and then placed our meals. When I asked for jalapeños, the waitress asked me five different times if I was sure — reminding me over and over that they were “spicy.” It was uncomfortable enough that when she walked away, I turned to my friends and asked if that seemed strange. They agreed it definitely was. As we waited, we started to notice something else: the room was full of only white diners, which felt odd in a neighborhood that’s predominantly Hispanic. Then our margaritas arrived, and that was another disappointment. They tasted harsh, like straight cheap tequila with nothing to balance it out. When the food finally came, it was… mediocre. Bland, flat, maybe a 2/10. And after all the questioning about jalapeños, my plate didn’t even have them. By then, we had already decided this wasn’t the experience we had hoped for. The last straw came when the check arrived. The “$5 margaritas” we ordered? They were listed at $13 each. At that point, we just paid and walked out, shaking our heads. I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but after this, I felt like I had to warn others. Don’t let the packed parking lot fool you — the food, drinks, and service here just don’t live up to the appearance.

Horrible experience! I recently ordered from las delicias and it was the worst experience I’ve had in a long time. I ordered a burrito, and when I took a bite, I found multiple strands of hair tangled in my food and stuck to the tortilla flaps. When I told the staff, the waitress, and manager were all rude. The manager, who had short spiky hair and wore black glasses, was especially short and rude with me. Instead of offering to remake the meal, he offered me sopapillas and a free coupon for a future meal—like that would make up for the disgusting situation. The lack of concern and basic hygiene was appalling. I've attached a picture of the burrito with the hair. I’ll never return here again and would strongly advise others to stay away if they value cleanliness.
