Food is always great! This is my favorite location!
The food was delicious. The service awesome. Couldn't ask for more. And with the generous size of the portions, you couldn't take much more. This place rocks!
If you haven't tried this place I highly recommend you do and for those that have but never ordered the Molcajete (sorry if mispelled) its it's delicious and a single order can easily feed 2 people. Try it, you won't regret it!
This place won't dissapoint!! One gets a conchita (mexican pastry) with your coffe, also chips and bean dip while you wait; salsa bar also available. Food fresh off the grill, flavorful, and best of all: hand made corn tortillas!!!
I absolutely love this place. The food is great and the service is always good. My go to meal is sizzling chicken fajitas and a cantaloupe agua fresca. The chicken pepita salad is amazing
Service is amazing. Restaurant has a very cultural, nice, cozy feeling. Plus the food is always delicious.
The food was very good I really loved the bean dip and chips . My asada tacos were some of the best I had in a while ,the meat was really good not all fatty GOOD QUALITY MEAT
My daughter and I decided to get some Mexican food to go. She took me here as her favorite. I must agree, they have Excellent food!
Good food and good service. Big portions, enough for two meals. Many many choices, what ever you want they probably have, even kids meals. The horchata was very good. Will be trying again.
I got the fish tacos, a la carta and they were so good, especially for the price. If I’m in the area I would definitely go again.
Stop by to bring some food home I got the chicken salad loooove their dressing its a avocado kinda with grilled chicken. Also for everyone else at home I got some ranchero eggs comes with a not hot sauce rice and beans, and quesadilla for the little one. Really fast order It was ready in leas than 10min I usually call to order it but since I was close by I just stop. Service is good as well.
Wow, this place is really extemely fantastic. The staff was nice and helpful. There is a nice small patio area so you can enjoy your food outside. They provide a ton of food for a great price. The coffee comes in nice heavy dinner style mugs, but the absolute best part is they provide queso with table chips.
Typical family owned style restaurant, nothing fancy to look at as you walk in the door and the crew is not the friendliest, but their food has very good flavor. The asada burrito was a touch spicy for my buds, but not to spicy to keep me not going back. Like I said, they have rich flavors in their food. I'd go back again if I'm in the area.
First time in North Hills and heard there were no good Mexican spots here but I decided to try this place. I had combo “numero cinco”enchiladas were really good but the beef taco was fresh and full of flavor (exquisite). My wife had number 6, and let me tell you the taquitos dorados were delish. Waitresses were attentive and helpful. Definitely coming back here again #CincoEstrellas 💯
Im so stuffed. They give you large portions unfortunately its so good you eat and eat. Great place to eat.
Man. This place is on the complete opposite of town. But I found my new burrito spot. This place was bomb. I'm talking a straight 10 star burrito. Honest review here. This will be my burrito spot from now on. Plus they are very polite.
Amazing food. Came here after a doctors appointment and is gonna be my go to spot whenever I’m in the neighborhood. Fast service, great value and most important TASTY food!!
The food is always great! I've recently started going there to pick up dinner and got hooked. I go at least once a week. Erica is a doll that works there and the staff is super friendly. Recomend the carnitas, chili rellenos, etc and for you non meat eating folks, like my wife, the potato tacos are on fire. Help a local restaurant out I've been to there other chain store not as good as them. Don't forget there avocado salsa to die for! THANX GUYS I'll see you next week 👍
They have the best flautas ever. The place is also clean, and the servers are friendly. I always get combination 6, which is a Chile relleno, two flautas, and an enchilada. So good!
I've been coming here for years. Definitely recommend all the above. Never had a bad meal. Wet- burrito is very good. Breakfast chorizo burrito is also very good. Arroz con pollo also a good choice.
Even their aguas frescas are always excellent and of the highest caliber. The indoor dining area is now available, which is fantastic, and the service is excellent.
You know that a Chinese restaurant is good when the majority of its customers are Asian. Excellent food, lobsters are fresh. They bring the lobster to your table or you choose from their aquarium. Excellent service!
This place is solid. Prices are a little high for valley Mexican, but the quality definitely matches it. I often get the tacos but I haven't had a bad thing yet.
Amazing staff and the food was delicious. We came here right after leaving a very sketchy Dennys around the corner. I had the sopes and they were really good.
So I was working one day and the client got us all these huge burritos covered in sauce when I say huge it was almost practical joke bug but it was so damn good I don't think any of us ate more then half at lunch but we all kept picking at it through out the rest of the day by the time we finished the job about 3-4 hours after we had lunch I probably still had a quarter of it left ever since I've had to order one at least every other week one of my new favorite things to have for lunch ain't cheap but worth every penny
Hands down the biggest burrito I've ever had. It tasted good as well but maybe just a bit big. Can easily feed two people. The workers in the restaurant are very nice and they took care of me well.
It’s one of the only places that makes my chile relleno burrito. Absolutely love them
The food was great and not pricey. Service was good and they even checked to see if we liked it. Only thing is, if you like it really spicy they don't really do that. Otherwise, this is a great place to eat
Huge menu with lots of delicious choices. Of you are hungry, be ware because you will have a hard time choosing. They serve you fast and all of their dishes look and smell amazing. I forgot to take a picture of my meal...I had steak and eggs and they were served with fries and salad, you could ask for it with rice and bean. My first time here, but if I am back in this neck of the woods, definitely not my last!
Ordered the chillaquiles here and they were amazing!! The only thing that bugged me was that they over cooked my over easy eggs but its ok they were still great! It is a little up there on price though compared to other restaurants in the area. Thats the only negative.
Huge selection of food. I have gone twice. The first time I had the super burrito and the most recent time I had the tostada. Both were really tasty, but the tostada is the best I have had. Great place to being the family. Side note: the super burrito can feed two and it's only $12!
I love this restaurant! I got here everytime I visit LA. No regrets! I got fajitas this time, so yummy!!
Always greeted with a smile by all staff members and food has always been great,
The food here is so good. Legit Mexican flavors and dishes. Pozole is god tier and the California burrito is one of the best I’ve ever had
The chili Verde is amazing. They even have Chili Verde omelets. Beat chili verde ever. The atmosphere is authentic Mexico, you feel like you are in Mexico when you dine. Serice is fantastic by beautiful women.
Loved the tacos Dorados! The beef was very flavorful and not grisly, except the customer service could use some improvements.
very good food. BEEN THERE FOR BREAKFAST LUNCH AND DINNER. Have visited there van Nuys location san fernando and northills. food is same at either. the Sf. location has mariachi on weekends. would totally recommend it if your looking for food and entertainment.
Good food and good service. Chips and bean dip... Don't eat too much coz you won't eat the meal you ordered. Awesome steak, chicken, or fish salad. Can't go wrong with taquito meal. Enjoy.
The food was great and the service was good. We are looking forward to trying other items and coming back. Maybe for the small patio.
I had a beef burrito wet( meaning covered with some sauce I prefer green Lots of melted cheese on top) side of fried beans n Spanish rice Little salsa Always full with a little take home doggie bag
Friendly staff, clean space, fast service; parking is a gamble, but food and prices are worth it. Although they did forget one of my side items.
If you’re looking for extremely tasty and explosively gaseous food then look no further! Los Tres Hermanos provides a perfect blend great tasting food with a dash of gas like no other. The beans man…It’s the beans!!! First off, they give you this tasty bean dip and chips with your purchase that’s deadly delicious. Creamy and flavorful, the beans were a great snack before the ultimate meal. I ordered the wet chicken burrito that was packed with chicken, beans and rice and topped with red sauce and melted cheese. The portion size was insanely generous especially for its price and it’s served with MORE BEANS and rice! Like carb overload but it’s tasty! Every bite was sinfully sensational. The creamy beans, the flavorful chicken, it was all so appealing. And it’s certainly enough for 2 meals. The service here was equally as divine. Everyone was pleasant, the food came out promptly and they even let us get a second helping of beans! I mean yes you will get gas and yes it may hurt but it’s worth the pain!
Small chain of local to the valley Mexican restaurants. The food is pretty good, if maybe on the salty side, but never fails to disappoint. Prices are reasonable. This location is in an L-shaped strip mall, with a cramped parking lot out front and overflow parking parking in the rear. There aren't a ton of tables inside and it does seem to get really crowded some times. They do take-out and you can phone your order in ahead of time. Some of the location serve alcohol; this one does not.
I love their soups! My hubs loves their steak salad. Always call ahead so I don't have to wait for food. Parking can be a hassle depending on time, it's a quant restaurant with Mexican tiles with big wooden dining tables and chairs which add to its charm
Food is good and relatively affordable. The service is friendly. The music can be a little too loud for the small venue, and there isn't much to look at.
Great Mexican food. Good variety and large menu. BBQ chicken roasting outside. Dinning floor is small. Service is average. I recommend getting your order to go. Specially at night.
Amazing food, and price is great. Took off one star as they won't deliver to Northridge via grubhub, but will through doordash. I mean what the hell, it's only four miles?
Good fresh Mexican food. We have eaten there for both breakfast and dinner and have not had a bad meal yet. Try the huevos rancheros, they are AWESOME!! Location is a store front where you order at the counter and they serve you at the table. Place is kept very clean.
This place has really good Mexican food. It's a bit pricey, but worth the money spent. The tacos are tasty. The seafood is okay and would skip it since they're are tons of trucks out there that specialize in seafood. The rest of the food here is definitely good for sure. Give them a try I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Don't expect hot salsa. The Salsa has been americanized. BUT the super Burrito is easily two burritos in one, and for the price!? Great deal. Amazing food! But it's kind of like an undecided mix of a fast food and a Mexican restaurant.. but the food is for sure 9/10 especially for the prices
Great place, good food. Enjoyable until the person behind the counter turned on the television to sit down and watch at high volume during a lull in business. Made it hard to talk. There were tables that needed cleaning. Get rid of the TV and you will get 5 stars. In the future, I will check for this before entering.
Food is great. Usually get the molcajete supremo, I really like this dish...it's enough for 2 people. They serve beans with chips before your food is served. Update: it's a hit or miss, my caldo was salty and the horchata was extremely sweet.
Seemed slightly better than their sister location on Devonshire and Reseda. Ordered through DD. The relleno, enchilada and rice/beans were still nice and warm, but the flautas were sitting in sauce;if they were crispy, they lost their crisp before they got here. The beef taco was good, loved the sauces. I'll have to go in there one day and get this food fresh off the grill to compare. Overall, it did not suck...
It was good food. The lengua(toungue) very tasty just not in the nachos form. Didn't taste the greatest like that for me. But I think it would've tasted great in taco form for sure.
The adobada tacos are a great food to try.
Food is delicious but I am not happy the way I was treated today by Gilma. She was rude and condescending. If this is how the servers treat their customers here, I will not be coming here anymore.
Prices keep going up, but the food is beginning to show it and taste it something as simple as beans. They use to be refried ?, taste like beans . Last 2 times, they were liquid-like, tasteless. Nor appetizing at all. Ordered chicken caldo, about $17, for 80% vegetables, and 1 chunk of chicken. 3 Hermanos used to be my GoTo Mexican food place, sorry not anymore. Found, by accident this sm taco restaurant, Rods Tacos, on san fernando mission Blvd. So far its been great. So much satisfying taste and price wise
The food is great...But have a problem with paying debit. It was my first time using my debit card at this restaurant. Well they charge me $2.00 for using my Debit card payment of $50.00. They’ll shouldn’t do that!. The owner must pay the fees for using all debit cards.. 😡 🚫
3 stars because the food was very good. The refried beans were excellent. 2 stars taken away because of the staff and the service. They weren't overly rude, but definitely very short and not inviting or friendly.
Good location, very nicely decorated and very good service quality altho I would have to say that food quality is not all there. I been going to this location with my family in several occasions and I have always felt that the quality of the food has not improved much and is always mediocre taste. The food is served very well and good portions with a good presentation and for that alone I do like. The staff is always greeting people as they walk in very friendly, fast and attentive at everyone to check up on them if they need anything. The one thing that the place lacks on is flavor. I can't really put my finger on it or specify exactly what it could be is just that many dishes I've tried over my time spent there in many occasions have been like that without much flavor and just plain. Hopefully in the near future the quality can improve because I do like the service quality and friendly staff
First off only things I like here are the molcajete supremo and the pepitas salad. Everything else lacks in flavor, the salsa lacks spice, and this last time I ordered 2 molcajetes and I was missing 2 containers of guacamole and there was very little meat and chicken in them. I always order one molcajete and it has good amount of chicken and meat but this time when I order 2 its lacking. I've ordered other items before but no thanks food is cold not tasty and not spicy. I had one seafood molcajete and one molcajete supremo. The supremo is my usual go to.
I came on a Sunday around 3:30pm. Place was not busy. I'm giving this place a three because of customer service. As soon as I came up to the cashier there was no greeting. She just stood there until I said hello. When placing my order she gave no eye contact it was like she saw through me. Her tone was very monotone. Her demeanor seemed as if she didn't want to be there. Food is typically good with no long wait times. Prices can be a little higher at this place. I really hope they improve their costumer service otherwise I won't be coming here again. So many other good places to eat with other pleasant people to be around.
meat in the burritos not fresh. It made me sick. Some of the cashiers have a sour puss face like they hate being there or are too good to be a cashier yet that's what they are.
The food and service were not as good as in the past. I asked for more cheese and less sauce on my enchilada and got the opposite. The shrimp salad was bland. The waitress or cash was distant. This was not a good visit or lunch.
The food is good most of the time, but today I ordered a chicken soup that I did not like. The picture shows a variety of vegetables, but I got mostly carrots, lots of carrots cut on big pieces. The soup had few pieces of chayote squash (not peeled) and couple of pieces of zucchini. Very dissatisfied with this soup. Hope the management changes the recipe and serves something close to the picture in the colorful menu.
Excessively long wait (about 30 minutes) for six tacos and one burrito. Some of the food was cold, as it was prepared and sat waiting to finally be packed. The burrito was loaded with rice and there was barely any meat in it. Definitely food not worth the price charged. I have been a patron of Tres Hermanos for decades, but frankly it's been hit or miss for a while now.
The food is okey but it takes 30 to 40 minutes to get a simple taco. Prices are extremely high. You are better off eating at a fine restaurant!! You will spend the same amount of money. Customer service is horrible.
Very disappointed compared to the Van Nuys location. The website wouldn't work to order, so called it in, when I got there the price was higher than on the site, but the workers couldn't have cared less, they basically said too bad. One thing I REALLY dislike about the chain, they are the only restaurant I've visited that charges more for using a vredit/debit card.
It's just my opinion but too expensive for what they call a large bowl of menudo$15.00each it looks like a small. When ordering the woman got my drink wrong, no Superior customer service. Retrain your staff. Although the menudo had good taste and needed some hominy in it.just my opinion, wouldn't be going back.
1st time Visiting Los Tres Hermanos. My taco meat was cold. The BBQ burrito was stuffed with more vegetables than meat. I personally will not order it again. The beef soup was okay, with a decent amount of portion. My family and I did not like the salsa to water down 😒 and it was not spicy. I did like their Orchata drink. The atmosphere is good. They have a section for outdoor seating.
Ordered a chicken soup, it looks sooo different than the pics. The lady that was serving us was so rude, also the chicken soup had tomato flavor and not chicken flavor I hate it. It was red! We order another parrilla plate with chicken, meat and shrimp but everything had oil on it, too much fat on the plate. And prices are not cheap, paid 48 dollar for two small plates…
We bought a shrimp cocktail it was horrible. Tomatoe juice and ketchup. It was really bad!! I also bought enchiladas chicken.....no flavor in the chicken dry and horrible. Even the sauce was bad. Its WAY OVERPRICED for what ypur getting. I wont be going back.
I became ill after eating a burrito from this place, and they refused to believe me or refund. I was up all night sick, dont ever come here you can make better food at home guaranteed.
I been here before and the food was okay and people were nice!!! Sadly this time, their posole was spiled...what a disgusting dissapointment...there was only one peice of meat which had a weird smell and taste...like old or something, but I'm not eating this.... yuk!!! I started to drink some of the soup at first which was ok..but there was only about an 1/8 of the I think 16oz container...the rest was hominy and the one peice of disgusting meat...trash...awful that they let people buy this....if its old throwaway please.
Their menu is kind of like a “hit or miss”. There shrimp ceviche sometimes it’s good sometimes it’s really horrible.Their mix ceviche is not good as well. Please please please stay away from their enchiladas. We order some enchiladas and this is the turn out. Imagine opening up a fresh Pack of tortillas, not heated not cooked straight from the pack. Imagine adding chicken inside of that tortilla and putting there tomato sauce on top of it with cheese that’s their enchilada. The enchilada taste is so horrible the worst I ever had in my whole life They’re wet burrito is pretty good and so is their gordita plate.
The food needs flavor, I got the beef taquitos but the meat were flavorless. On another occasion I got the lengua burrito and the lengua was very watery like they heated it up in plain water instead of in it's own Caldo which has all the flavor so what ever flavor it had was boiled away 😒 Very disappointed
I ordered the chilaquiles for $13.99, and it was a major letdown. The only hot component was the fresh eggs on top and my cup of coffee. The red sauce lacked any spice, and the tortilla chips were cold. I also got a coffee and iced water for $2.99, bringing my total to $21 and some change after taxes before tip, which made it I gave a 20 percent tip which would bring it to over 25.00 for just my meal. Which is paid for before receiving your food, which is frustrating. After eating, my stomach hurt, and I doubt they had anything better to offer. This restaurant churn out subpar food and label it as authentic. This meal was a mess with no flavor, just oil. The portion was huge, but it’s not worth it if it doesn’t taste good. Most people don’t even make $25 an hour, so being charged hard-earned money for food I didn’t enjoy let alone eat is just criminal.please remember that and do better.
I was going to place an order online for 2 pollo caldos but decided to go into the store to get them. When I paid the price was different from the price quoted on line which was less. The cashier was unhelpful and did not care. On top of that they want to charge me EXTRA to use a credit card. I see all these businesses trying to pass their cost of doing business to their consumers. I hope people start cooking and stop supporting over priced food. I know i am heading in that direction.
Review is based Soley on service: this place is scandalous. the witches here are so shady. They decided to cancel my order just because it was 40 minutes before closing, dasher pulls up and the restaurant is closed. I'm calling and manager admits they saw me calling but didn't want to answer. To add to unprofessionalism, they are all so rude. Not a place I'd want to pour my money in to anymore.
The staff behavior has been consistently unprofessional and impolite. Every time I’ve gone there for pickup, they didn’t even respond to my greeting. I was met with unfriendly looks and a very uncomfortable attitude. I’m honestly not sure what the issue was, but the way I was treated was disappointing and unacceptable. Customer service should at least include basic courtesy and respect.
Food was overcooked, charred, and very thin. I expected more for the price paid ($30) for fajitas. The meat also had a cleaning agent taste (like soap). So disappointed.
I went here three years ago and was treated rudely and with a condescending attitude from a girl wearing a face diaper. Considering how expensive food is, I decided to cook my own food at home in order to save money and avoid these unpleasant experiences, I will never visit these types of restaurants again.
Had the enchilada and sope for dinner combo. Didn't like the enchilada one bite and left the rest. It had a can sauce taste. The sope was meh the carne asada was very chewy. My rice was the worst again had the taste of can sauce. Didn't touch my beans but they do offer a complamentary basket of chips and beans and what do you know if was the best thing on the menu.
I've been to this restaurant alot times and never had a problem until today. I ordered an order of shrimp fundido from the appetizers and a Chile relleno ala carte. This two dishes were very flavorful and delicious on the other hand the menudo didn't have any hominy and no flavor. Even juanita's can menudo taste better then what I ordered today. I was very disappointed 😞 never returning to this restaurant again!
