I recently attended dinner on August 1st for a surprise engagement for my now fiancé . From the phone call with the host of the restaurant. To the waitress that attended to us they we’re amazing. They accommodated to us also to any request we had. They went over the top to make this night Memorable. They even played my favorite song that I had requested for the engagement proposal. And of course can’t forget the food was amazing. This place is forever in my hearts We will definitely come visit again. From the bottom of our hearts I’d like to thank you’re whole entire staff that was there that evening. Over all it was an amazing experience

What a fantastic evening! My husband and I were entertaining out-of-town guests and decided to try Frankie Primo’s +39 last night for the first time. We are locals and have watched the new owners transform this property into an lush outdoor patio that was well-lit and comfortable, built around a huge fire-pit. We had a covered outdoor table that stayed quite comfortable as the outdoor temperature dropped below 70. The shared calamari was perfectly cooked, followed by various pasta dishes which included a perfectly balanced mushroom cream sauce. Their pizzas are big enough for at least two people and had a perfect crust (thin and crispy, yet soft in the middle). We all were amazed by the exceedingly imaginative flavor combinations on the menu paired with an impressive wine list. The FOH staff was both gracious and attentive; a special shout-out to Tammy who was able to take our order, including our indecisive changes, by memory. My only complaint is that I waited so long to try Frankie Primo’s +39.

Tammy was our waitress.. she went above and beyond! We were not easy lol She was so patient. Made everyone in the party feel welcome and was so attentive. We were not her only table and she managed to juggle everything without missing a beat!!! She even made our Mothers Day Reservation for us!!! Our food was amazing as always and she was by far our favorite server to date!! Thanks for a great Sunday! We also bonded because we share the first same name .. she was the best!!!

What a great time! My friends and I had several Sicilian Manhattans that were so excellent. This is absolutely the best place to meet friends and enjoy drinks, great food and time together. And when three friends try to pay the bill - Amanda and the Owner are there to rescue the day. We definitely will be returning very soon.

I ca not say enough good things! I needed to put together a short notice company dinner for 25 people. Jamie at Frankie Primos +39 called me back right away and started setting up our event. She was amazing! The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was awesome! With everything going on right now I have come to expect service to be a poor when we are going out to eat, I get it, everyone is understaffed and over worked but, this was NOT the case here. Everyone was fantastic and the service was flawless!

My experience at this fine establishment was absolutely exquisite. The staff was wonderful, and a hostess named Maya was very welcoming. My dinner choice for the night was Tagliatelle, and I couldn’t have chosen better. The mushrooms paired with the creamy sauce was absolutely divine. I cannot wait to come back and try more of the menu! A warm thank you to the Frankie Primo’s Staff

Went in and decided to have dinner at the bar. Our bartender Austin was exceptional. Attentive. Knowledgeable. Personable. Anticipated our needs BEFORE we could utter a single word. This young man is quite an asset. If I were the owner, I’d truly value having him as an employee. Food was great (but the minestrone was just “meh”.)

This place was swamped on a Friday night so we sat at the outside bar. I wasn’t sure at first because it took a while to get a server. But once we did they were amazing. Bar staff was great and the food was out so quickly (and was amazing!). Would highly recommend, and they have a HUGE outdoor seating area for those who’d prefer to stay outside.

We were greeted by Amanda as we entered the restaurant. She was wonderful and accommodating! Our server, Shauna was fabulous! Very attentive and took care of all our needs. It was a wonderful night for all six of us. The food was great and we loved the charcuterie plate. The wine selection was good and good price points. We can't wait to go back again! Definitely a FIVE star rating!

We stopped by last night for the first time. What a great experience. The staff was wonderful. Friendly and welcoming. The food was perfect. The homemade garlic bread was so good we asked to take some home. We definitely will return. A great addition to this happening stretch of wonderful restaurants and night life.

Went with some friends. Food was amazing and somehow the service was even better:) it's a cute spot and relaxing atmosphere. The bread is baked nextdoor and is super fresh. I got pizza, which might have been the best I've had.

Our dinner plans changed & we ended up eating at the outside bar at Frankie Primo’s. What a friendly & welcoming bartender! I believe his name was Ryan. He was wonderful!! Very friendly & attentive without being intrusive. He offered wonderful suggestions & truly made us feel welcome. This bartender made our evening. A true asset! Ryan, if you see this, thank you for the recommendations! We’ll definitely be back!

My girlfriend and I decided to try Frankie Primo's solely based on the pictures of their food and it did not disappoint! The staff was very pleasant and accommodating, the food looked just as good as the pictures, and it tasted even better. I have honestly not eaten a meal this delicious in a long time. I look forward to coming back in the warmer months to eat outside on their patio. This was the perfect date night destination!

If we could give more than five stars we would. We went with our family for a birthday tonight, second time going. This is going to be our new family spot. From start to finish everything is impeccable. The atmosphere is a 10/10, jazz band was crushing it. Our server, Tammy, took such great care of us, she even got soaked when it started pouring outside and didn’t miss a beat. Although, Scotty wasn’t our buser this time, but he came out to say hi. He is legend. The food is stellar, the specials are always a hit. The pasta is fresh, delicious, and have a twist on traditional Italian foods. Food, service, atmosphere: perfect mix. We will be back!

Sadly it’s very rare to see young kids who actually care about their jobs these days, but not at Frankie’s! My wife and I were astonished to over hear an upset customer talking to 2 young waitresses/hostesses…and their reaction was priceless. Even after the customer had been seated, they were genuinely concerned on righting the situation, and figuring out how to be better for next time. They couldn’t have been out of high school, and were both acting with maturity of what I would expect from an owner. Hats off to management and ownership of this restaurant! We’re always blown away by how awesome the entire staff is! Oh yea GREAT FOOD AND DRINKS TOO!

First time at Frankie's, will not be the last. The food was really delicious. The gnocchi was tender and the sauce was flavored perfectly. My dinner partner had tortellini with steak, the mushroom sauce was very good and the steak was cooked perfectly and had wonderful seasoning. All bread is homemade and it's a delight. We had gelato and tiramisu for dessert, both of which were fantastic! I'm definitely a fan!!

Went there for a wine tasting where they match food to the wine. There were 7 of us and we had a really good time. Some of the food I had with the wine was something I'd never have ordered. Anyway, the food was very good. As expected I didn't like all the wines. I would really recommend this place for the wine tasting.

I inquired about a cocktail party for approximately 50 people with only a few days notice. An entire section of the patio was reserved for us to enjoy. The variety of brick oven pizzas served were amazing as well. The atmosphere and beautiful patio area made for a great outdoor celebration. The Manager Amanda and entire staff went above and beyond accommodating our needs. Thank you for a very memorable day.

We traveled from Phoenix with a craving for authentic Italian cuisine and this restaurant truly delivered! The food was exceptional, the service was attentive and friendly, and the ambiance—especially our outdoor seating—made our dining experience delightful. We took my daughter her for her birthday. It was the best meal I have had in a very long time. Both my daughter and my wife also enjoyed their meals. The waiter was very attentive and very nice. The hostess also came to our table a few time to check on us. I will be back and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal.

Had a sprinkle for my daughter. They were so gracious about accommodating us last minute (as our original venue cancelled). The food was hot and delicious, the service was extremely attentive, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Even though our group was small, they treated us with importance. I very highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. I would like to especially thank Liz, Alyssa and Jamie for taking such good care of our group. I can't wait to host another event, as this is now my go to first choice! I'd give 10 stars if I could.

I took my dad here for dinner for his first time. I previously phoned and spoke with Liam who explained the differences between the patio seating areas since my dad’s hearing is sensitive with his hearing aids. Liam was super kind and helpful and suggests we sit on the patio to minimize the noise for my dad. Liam was super helpful and put me at ease for our dining experience. Our food was good and our server Aidan was very patient and helpful with our ordering. We’ll be back for sure! Thanks everyone!

Summertime at Frankie Primo's North Tonawanda location is great, Especially if you have kids. The Patios accommodate large groups and can easily get a quick table without a reservation because of the size. The lower patio gives you an atmosphere that does not feel like buffalo, with the vines growing up the brick wall. Our server was very nice, and food came out hot and quick. With kids this is a must.

Absolutely one of the best restaurants I’ve been to. We came on a Saturday night and could hear the party 5 blocks before seeing the restaurant. The ribeye with the tortellini was quite thin with a bold char although the place had the best bread, wine, pasta, service, and ambiance of any restaurant in upstate NY.

First time my family and I came out here for Mother's Day lunch. We were in no rush, but it took a little longer than usual, and to our surprised they did not charge us a penny for delay. This has been a great experience, and we'll be our go-to place for our lunches:) Thank you for such great surprise 👌🌟🌟🌟🌟

My husband and I returned from our first dinner at Frankie Primos North Tonawanda. It was fabulous. The staff was friendly and our server one of the best we’ve had. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and helpful in choosing our meal. My husband ordered the lasagna and I ordered the half order of their homemade gnocci. Take it from this Italian who cooks, I couldn’t have made it better! We also ordered the Daviolo pizza as an appetizer. Scrumptious as well. We ordered the tiramisu to share for dessert. Creamy, soft and very flavorable. Upper management actually visited each table to ensure satisfaction- a rarity these days. We definitely will be returning.

The patio atmosphere is right out of Tuscany. The food was amazing and full of complex flavor I had the chicken Milanese (my favorite) it was enough for two people! 2 chicken cutlets tons of arugula with fresh slivers of Parmesan, and huge side of rigatoni. The cocktails were also on point. Well balanced and sizable. Service was bar none even with a super busy Saturday night. We didn't wait for anything or feel rushed everything was timed perfectly. Our server even presented us with complimentary shots of lemoncello with little giuggiulena cookies... YUM! It was our anniversary. All in all a wonderful experience! Will definitely be back to try all the other menu delicacies!

Frankie Primo’s in North Tonawanda is an absolute gem! I hosted my company's work party there last year and from planning through the dinner everything was easy and amazing. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly blends classic charm with a modern touch. The service is impeccable—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Now, the food? Simply phenomenal. Every dish bursts with authentic flavors, clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and a passion for great Italian cuisine. The pasta is perfectly cooked, the sauces are rich and flavorful, and the portion sizes are just right. Whether you're out for a romantic dinner, a drink at a bar, a family gathering, or just looking for a fantastic meal, Frankie Primo’s never disappoints. I can’t recommend this place enough! Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My experience at Frankie Primo's +39 North was frankly, premium. That is in large part to the service we received from our incredible server Jenna K. She exhibits a sadly rare set of values that I can only call pride of profession. The knowledge and passion she has in representing this establishment speaks to the incredible quality of this restaurant. I'm not Italian, and my experiences with Italian food is incredibly west-washed. The menu, was thus, both refreshing in its honesty (a disclaimer at the top that while allergies would be respected and accommodated for, trying to Burger King the ingredients of the dishes due to personal preconceived notions of taste is not recommended), and daunting in its authenticity (good luck pronouncing things correctly, and I have no idea what the different meats are). Thankfully, Jenna to the rescue. She guided our first time jitters by telling us about the way everything was made in-house, with fresh ingredients (and undoubtedly authentic recipes), and then offered to let us go over the menus. When she returned, it was to offer to answer any questions we may have had. I have to think she gauged our body language to time her return, because I didn't feel rushed or pressed upon. I did have questions, and the thoroughness of her answers left me feeling in awe of her personal pride of position. She explained what made a sauce become Sunday'd, and then everything else about the item in question (and even said the name aloud a few times, so when I ordered it I could take her cue). When the bread came, she recited the ingredients in the olive oil in a way that just felt fancy, like she wouldn't put something in front of us that she didn't have personal experience with. Our food was amazing, even if it was different from expectations. The penne was al dente, which I learned from Google was intentionally cooked to retain chewy texture. The fear that it was undercooked had crossed my mind, but again it was my ignorance of thinking all pasta had to be boiled until pale and floppy. It was more amazing for its bite. To cap off a great experience, when we unpacked our bag of leftovers (the portions were generous enough for two meals, and which she offered to box up), we had one last consideration to appreciate. On top of each box was written the name of the dish, and the day's date. I don't know if that is standard practice. It's never happened at any restaurant I've been to, let alone for this humble price point. I feel spoiled from my time at Frankie Primo's +39 North, and I hope many more people come to take a chance to read a menu they may or may not understand, bravely trust in a recipe that may have one or two ingredients that might otherwise worry you, and generously tip the incredible people who are proud to represent this amazing corner of taste and culture.

This was my wife's and mine first time at this location. Food was very good, but my ny strip steak was a bit tough to cut, even being medium rare. They chared the outside of the steak and I really liked that, the spicey spinach was wonderfully spicey. Pasta was also very good, noodles seemed more tender than what you get from the store. My wife enjoyed the shrimp and pasta. The service was top notch, we had someone other than our server check in with us three times, plus the server was quick and attentive. Food also came out quickly, there wasn't much of a waite on anything. I would absolutely recommend Frankie Primo's for fine Italian dinning, both locations.

Really great food, exceptional service, & fun atmosphere. The place was absolutely packed, line almost out the door, & the staff handled it so smoothly. We thought the prices were fair considering the quality of food (delicious & quick). They were charming & attentive, clearly trained very well in both front & back of house. Thank you for a great night!

We recently had a party at Frankie Primo's and everything was fantastic! We worked with Shawna, their event coordinator, and she made everything so easy, including being very flexible when we had to reschedule the party at the last minute. All of our guests raved about the food (we got breaded artichokes, bruschetta and caprese skewers, along with 3 different types of pizza), the drinks and the service that Shawna provided during the party. The price was also extremely reasonable for a party of 35 people. I would highly recommend Frankie Primos for anyone looking for a place to host their event!

The food is always amazing! The ambiance is great. The staff was so friendly. We were actually there for dinner during a pretty heavy snowfall. And we happened to notice the owner outside snowblowing the sidewalks... A few moments later we noticed that he had cleaned off all of our cars for us. Completely unexpected and well above and beyond what I would consider good customer service!! We will be back!!

One of the many perks of moving to and (now) living in NT, aside from having the river right nearby, is living near the cute, vintage little downtown, which we know the city is trying to rejuvenate and build up. I am so glad I ended up at Frankie Primo’s for a family celebration this week. What a beautiful place, and what an excellent selection of dishes, drinks, and desserts. I loved the holiday spritz prosecco cocktail I had: aromatic from the rosemary, light, clean, and festive. And LOVED the fennel and citrus salad: perfectly dressed, fresh, scrumptious, honestly one of the most perfect salads I have ever had. Enjoyed the pomodoro, too. I’m not usually a big cannoli fan, despite being Italian, but the cannoli’s filling was bright, citrusy, light, and creamy. The lights hanging from the ceiling are pretty. Can’t wait to go back. Yum!

We came for a work party. Everyone was impressed with the appetizers. "Full Bar" really had whatever you wanted. There was even a Gelato cart! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It may have been a little more decorated for the holidays, then it usually is, but everything looked really beautiful. The buffet was just ok. Nothing too bad, but not nearly as remarkable as the apps. My bf, and a couple other people, said some things were better at last year's party. I had never been here before, but i've heard good things.

It’s not often that I’m able to write a stellar review on a restaurant, but I want to sincerely thank the staff of Frankie Primo’s for a truly wonderful evening. we had dinner before we saw a show at the Riviera theater and they were incredibly accommodating last moment, made sure that our food came out on time and that we were able to finish our meal right before the show. and also, it’s not often I get to say that a restaurant has stellar Italian food, but bravissimo.

Recently, my wife and I, along with 3 other couples, enjoyed a 5 course dinner WITH wine pairings. It was fantastic! Shawna (Event Mgr.) created a wonderful menu while Daniel (Somaliere) presented and served the delicious food and wines. His knowledge of each was deep and accurate (Daniel also educated us on the producing regions within Italy). Jay (Owner) and FP's Head Chef also visited us. The entire experience was unique and outstanding 👏 👌.

We had a great time eating on the inviting patio. I had the Braciole which was delicious and I barely needed a knife to cut it. We came to Frankie Primo’s +39 North in Tonawanda with a large group on a Friday night and had a fantastic experience. The food was very good — everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. From the appetizers to the main courses, each dish was delicious and served hot. The service was excellent from start to finish: attentive, friendly, and impressively organized, even with our big party. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, perfect for a Friday evening out. It did get a little too loud at times, which made it hard to hear across the table, but that’s expected with a busy restaurant. The space was clean, nicely decorated, and had a great vibe overall. We really appreciated how smoothly everything went with such a large group, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended for both small dinners and larger gatherings!

The online reservation process was easy, and even when we had changes to the reservation, the staff was accommodating to them. Kelly was an AWESOME server! She made sure that my food was gluten free (I have a gluten allergy) and even double checked to make sure that it was (because honestly, the food looked way to good to be gluten free). They have gluten-free spaghetti and penne, and they have a cauliflower crust for their pizza. I had the cacio e pepe with the gluten free spaghetti and steak. The steak was cooked perfectly. I could tell immediately that the sauce was fresh and homemade, and so tasty!!!! The food was excellent, however the music was overplaying the busy/noisy patio, making it hard to hear what my table had to say to each other. There was also left-over oil on one side of our table? But Kelly was great and took care of it immediately.

We went for a Girls’ night out! Everyone enjoyed their meal. Nice size portions and most of us had the specials which were delicious! The calamari was very good. The arancini and artichoke appetizers were also good. The white cosmos were ok but the orange zinger was very good! The only real complaint were the bathrooms needed cleaning. There was paper all over the floor and they looked dirty. Would definitely go back!

Food was wonderful. Menu was complicated but the service was nice. Pricey so bring your wallet. 😁

I have been to both locations, mainly North Tonawanda. The menu is limited, but the food is good. The service was excellent. At NT location, the manager walks around, greeting and talking with diners and making sure things are running smoothly. She does a great job. I recommend Frankie's over the other downtown restaurants in NT.

I am going to start off by saying we are frequent guests and this was the first time I had a negative experience. I brought two girlfriends to the patio bar, we were greeted promptly, even though we arrived mid shift, we were taken care of right away. Literally everything was perfect- I had a picky drink request (that was made exactly how I expected), asked for food recommendations- and while we were sitting at the bar, the “bakery manager” came over and told the girls working behind the outdoor bar that they looked stupid because they were wearing sun glasses (it was 5pm and the sun was setting). It was so appalling that I felt the need to address the comment to the bartender and close my tab. We were meeting a couple for dinner so we were then seated in the dining room and had an amazing server. The fans were set so high that the menus were literally blowing off of the tables. We were laughing and asked if they could turn the fans down. I want to be abundantly clear- Our server was amazing but hesitant to say she would ask the manager about the fans. The same “manager” as before came out mumbling and turned the fans off for the whole room. It may not have sounded like a lot or registered that it was offensive, but as a guest at the restaurant it really turned me off and I will second guess recommending because of this experience. -

My husband had the lasagna and I had a gluten-free with fig jam pizza. Food tasted great but the gluten-free crust used for the pizza was not my favorite. I had a red wine cabernet and a margarita (wasn't a fan of either drink). My husband had a sparkling water and a Manhattan. We shared a charcuterie board ( best part of the meal, outstanding local). The service was excellent. Eating here isn't cheap $169.00. Thats with a tip of $28.00.

Very nice place to grab brunch, or to enjoy the patio. I don’t specifically love their dinner but have gone back for brunch. The Sunday crew seems very attentive and nice! Slightly pricy bar in consideration of buying a bottle of Prosecco. Almost $100 wowed us.

Tried this very busy place on a warm Labor Day holiday evening and was pleasantly surprised by the yummy salad, veggie pizza and decent wine. A bit too busy for ultimate comfort at the bar but no fault of the place and would definitely go back. Service was friendly but understandably a bit overwhelmed. And I only give 5s for perfection so this is a super good rating!

We got an appetizer that was tomatoes and mozzarella. The tomatoes were so atrocious that we didn’t eat it. The server comped the dish and showed it to management. That dish should’ve never left the kitchen. The prices are very high for mostly mediocre food. Our server didn’t bring us bread when we sat down and had to be reminded several times of drinks we ordered. This place needs a lot more oversight.

Great atmosphere, but 2 hours for dinner from the time we sat down and two bottles of $50 wine started to wear on me and my guests. I don't care if you have a large party inside. Food was middle of the road Italian, nothing to write home about. Italian sausage was over done and had the consistency of sawdust., sent it back. Service was doing the best they could with what they had to work with. Disappointing. .

The food was excellent, but you come here thinking it will be a fine dining experience. One of the cooks had their two kids inside of the restaurant running and screaming around the dining area, kitchen etc. this immensely takes away from the experience, your bill will be well over $150 (which is no problem) but you get to watch a kids daycare. Not sure if I would recommend this restaurant

I went to the one in North Tonawanda. We got there around 9:00 or so and they close at 10:00, they seated as right away on the patio. Atmosphere was beautiful got waited on right away, food was great. It went downhill when I had to ask three times for the bread and oil to be brought to the table when she was the one who offered it in the first place and every single time I would ask she would come back and had forgot it. For as much as I paid for my meal over $60 I expected a little bit better service than that. I do want to try the one in Buffalo I hope that I have a little bit better service.

Love the food here and the ambience but they have 3 different times on when they close. Bing says they close at 10pm on Thursday, Google says they close at 9pm on Thursday, and their website says they close at 11pm. I called last night in attempt to get drinks and a dessert at 9:10 last night, Thursday night. I asked if they were open and the girl on the phone said yes we are, I then explained that we were looking to get dessert and drinks and she reverses and says oh they just closed that actually. All I wanted was some dessert from Frankie Primos and I had to jump through 7 different hoops just to be hung up on. Very disappointing and seems that this place is very mismanaged. Hopefully, they figure it out because the food, drinks and dessert are all really well prepared.

Very disappointed! We made a reservation which they lost but we showed the confirmation. They tried to seat us out on the enclosed porch when we walked right by an empty table. I was told it was for a reservation and said yes we have one. They did seat us inside and the waitress was good but we got the wrong food so had to wait again. We were there over two hour and had three tables that came in after us receive there dinner before us. Drinks were good food was disappointing. Very loud hard to talk.

Service and atmosphere is excellent, apps were good too. But our main pasta dishes and chicken cutlets were very bland and lacking flavor.

Dinner,Sunday , we were both excited to try this spot, seeing it was local, seemed always had a full restaurant. We had to go to the outside patio side to give our Reservations ,the girls, had no Tablets to look our name up, or anyone else behind us, kinda disorganized, why? are we even outside to provide our names to begin with, kinda strange, just to see the patio was only half full, we were seated by our time slot. First time here, and the bread was warm but the olive oil dip , was just ok, olive oil, salt and pepper flakes?? I mean some herb would be nice, splash of wine vinegar or something??? The music was so loud it really was annoying, I am sitting shoulder to my spouse and we both had to yell in each other's ears, just to have a conversation. It's was still cool outside but sunny, the temp is only 60 ,yet they felt the needed to seat ppl outside and keep the doors open to the rest of the restaurant ,it was kinda uncomfortable for that, seeing most ppl had to keep a Jacket on to eat We ordered the Sunday special, Jays award winning veal, pork beef, meatballs and spicy sauce , And a side order of pasta And two Lemonade drinks . The drinks were just that lemon water , sour no sugar , unexpected. The pasta was ,sorry to say it ,"Over cooked" and sticky, (heavy the hot pepper) to the point, were it was so hot ,it threw off the whole dish ,you couldn't even enjoy the sauce because your mouth was just all hot pepper. The meatball , Was most and good inside, yet , way in world was it carboiled, with a blackened outside?? Ah, No ! Tasted like a burnt burger, Again given bread and olive oil, but at this point, it wasn't worth it. No side salad, no real bread, no real olive oil dip , come on ! First experience, was not good at all $87.00 plus a side tip for (2) We felt like this was just some kind of fast food gone wrong Not worth anything more than 25 bucks This was a complete Disappointment! Even the tiny little dinner gift cookies were just shameful , like the size of. Quarter If I am spending 100.00 bucks for pasta It better have some dam sauce on the plate And real bread. And not over cooked Carboiled of a dish you want to call food. Not sorry to post this

Had made a reservation. They had difficulty finding it. There were very few people there when we arrived. They tried to seat us at a high top table which we did not want, as one of us was elderly and the other pregnant. The hostess had to go ASK if she could change us to the regular table even though there was only one table in use…finally moved us . Waitress was great, accommodating and sweet, prompt with food and drinks. Food was very good. When the check came, my son put his card in and cash for tip. The bill at that point was $153. By then the restaurant got pretty full and our waitress was dealing with tables out back, and we were under the canopy on deck. WHEN THE PAID BILL CAME BACK, my son usually just signs and puts his card away. For some reason he looked at it and IT HAD BEEN CHANGED BY $42 to $195!!!!! It was awhile before the waitress could be seen, so he got up and went to person at register. We had two extra meals and drinks added to our bill!!!THE MANAGER was not at all nice or accommodating! Said it would be up to a week before the original charge would be erased on his card!!He had to go item by item with her for the bill to be re-entered! NO APOLOGY!!!The evening had such a poor ending! Too bad a restaurant with good food and nice deck has such poor leadership running the place. There are many fine restaurants in the area which will be getting our business. M. Nealley Regan

Ordered drinks at the bar. Their pour is down-right stingy. A single pour of bourbon just covered the bottom of the glass. You get 1/4 glass of wine. Not reviewing the food. It was fine (otherwise I would've given 1 star). We would've skipped the meal and walked out had we not been meeting friends. Not going back.

Saturday May 4th 6:30 pm reservation service was not to standard. Table was by kitchen door which kept hitting my chair. Advice to move it over a bit. Waitress was not friendly ordered half portions but brought full sized and said she didn’t hear me when I ordered. This is the second time this happened. Drinks took a long time to get to us and were delivered by the bartender after we ordered. When dinner arrived didn’t ask if we wanted cheese just started shredding it with it going all over the table. Pasta was over cooked it generally is cooked just right. Going out is expensive we visit your NT location at least 2 times a month we understand cost of goods and servers is expensive but Just disappointing. Table next to us you could see was not happy with their overall experience as well.

Greeted and seated as reserved. Outdoor patio seating was great except everyone smoked next to our table and it was just horrendous for any non smoker. No dedicated server for the table, it just seems like there's 3 people that run the entire patio tables, shocked that we only got the main menu first and was given the special menu when one of the server came asking what we wanted to eat. Never offered dessert or drink menu. Food was mediocre at best and what's more funny is the wording on the top of menu stating "no modifications, we know what we are doing". Food took about 45 min to come out.

5 of us went here over the weekend. Although our server was absolutely wonderful, we can't say the same for the food. None of us were impressed at all. Add on's like sausage is ridiculously priced. In addition, I've never been to an Italian restaurant that doesn't serve salad. Everytime...which was a lot...they opened the side door to the patio all kinds of cold air came in. Carrabba's actually has better food than this place unless of course you want to ride out to Mulberry's which is excellent.

Went here on a Sunday, right around 4:30. We didn't have reservations, but figured we would see if we could get in and sit wherever. When we got there, we asked to sit at the bar. The seats were super uneven and wobbly(obviously due to the floor). The bartender threw the menus all in front of me and immediately asked if we knew what we wanted. You'd have thought the place was packed. We left the bar, preferring a not so wobbly time and a slightly more friendly server, and went to the hostess station. We found four employees, all just standing around, that eventually advised that they would have to wait for the hostess to help. A few minutes pass before the hostess arrives. She asks if we have reservations, we reply no, advising we will sit wherever. She then sighs, loudly, rolls her eyes, and while tapping on the station tells us we can sit at the fire pit or on the couch (in the waiting area). She doesn't offer inside or give us an estimate of when something might free up if at all. Again, I get it, we didn't have reservations, but there is no reason at all for the rude demeanor. My husband and I left and went to the fresh seafood restaurant around the corner. We had an amazing meal! An amazing meal without reservation or cruddy attitude. I can't see a reason to try or recommend Frankie Primos again, to be honest. This may be the place for some folks, but it isn't the place for me at this time.

We have been here several times and had no problems. Last night we took our son and daughter in law for their anniversary. It took us 30 minutes to get our drinks... Our food came out after 90 minutes and only one dish was the right one. They took the three dishes back and every 10 minutes or so one dish at a time came out. My husband got his food when we were all finished with ours. The waitress apologized and said the manager said she could take a round of drinks off our bill. They took three drinks off the bill. Big deal! It was still over $200. Will not rush back.

Walk up to bar noticed bar chair was broken not happy with that. Noticed bartenders were not happy like they needed more help. The food is expensive and didn't meet my standards.

Usually love this place but experienced a much different side. Manager was rude I'd highly advise a replacement if you want to keep your regulars. Oh and the food was cold burnt tasted like 🗑

Just picked up dinner on a Sunday night for takeout. Wife and I ordered 4 1/2 portions. First and foremost, the service picking it up was great and the food quality itself was excellent. Where everything fell short was quantity. Out of the 4 1/2 portions, the portion size was very poor. My 2 1/2 portions I ordered were so small, I am still hungry and I making food as I am typing this. I spent 94 dollars to pick up dinner and still be hungry. It’s an Italian restaurant that is stingy on its noodles which makes zero sense. Even if the noodles are homemade, making them costs a couple bucks at most. When I am dining in, the portions are much larger as well. So maybe it’s a take out issue. Which there was plenty of room left in the containers

Tonight was first time we went there, and it will definitely be our LAST time there. We waited 1 hr & 45 minutes for our dinners, and even then, we were still waiting on three final dinners, which took another 15 minutes. Food was not very good, nor oven hot. Just warm. And there was certainly not an abundance of each meal either. Definitely way over priced for substandard quality & portion size. Never again.
