Just had the breakfast burrito and carne asada taco with the avo crema! It was absolutely delicious!! Great service, I was ordering for four adults and one child which gets messy sometimes. Will was so nice and patient with us! The other staff members checked in on us to see if we needed anything else while we were eating. Just a great environment in general to go with fantastic foods. They also had many homemade salsa options that were all yummy. I highly recommend!!

I’m new to the area and visited this location for the first time yesterday and the cashier was super friendly and took the time to explain all of their gluten free options :) They were very accommodating with my allergies and the tacos were delicious. Will definitely be coming back!

Rob took care of me today and truly made my lunch special. He went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of with nothing but the best. Great service and even better hospitality!

Went to try this place earlier and I was greeted with a big smile by the cashier, I travel a lot and when I came here I felt like home. The food was delicious 10/10. Tacos are good, good season. The only thing was the taco slight small for the Price. But I'll still comeback. I was greeted well and a smile, good interaction with cashier all the way till I left.

Walking up to the menu for Tacos 1986 I was a little disappointed. They only had Chicken, Pork and Steak. Those of you who know me understand my love for lengua and super crispy Tripas. The steak tacos were delicious. I am not going to lie, I wanted to try their salsa but after cooking for 11 hours I sat down and I didn't move. The burrito was well made and filled with flavor. I opted for steak for this as well. All in all I would go back especially because there was another Robert there taking my order.

First time trying this place and it was amazing! The tacos were great, loved the bottled drinks and the service was amazing. The staff was super kind and very attentive. With how great the weather has been at night the atmosphere of this place is amazing. Definitely recommend this place.

Tried Tacos 1986 in Northridge and it definitely lived up to the hype. We ordered the #3 Mulita Combo ($13.50) and the #1 Taco Combo ($12.00) and were very pleased with the quality of the food. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Shoutout to Roberto for taking our order — he provided excellent service and made the whole experience even better. Will definitely be coming back! 🌮🔥

Food and drinks are great . Homemade tortillas and real beans not rehydrated. Salsas are really good. And the horchata was surprisingly really good. I was worried since it came in a bottle. I like the music playing and the restroom was nice and clean. Good customer service.

I work across the street and was working a later night and they were a convenient option to have! They make their own tortillas which is a plus. I ordered an Al pastor burrito which was a very good size and packed with meat. I found the Al pastor to be a little too salty. It was still very good but definitely needed salsa to cut up the saltiness and oiliness. Overall worth a try if you’re in the area and want some Mexican food. I think their tacos are more delicious!

Went there yesterday to get some food to try it out. Overpriced for beans that don't even taste cooked. The water that the beans came in was disgusting. My tacos were extremely cold like they've been sitting out there for an hour. All in all, not a good experience. Don't think I'll go back to that place again. Especially since it's overpriced. I'll go to my taco truck instead

Food is over priced $4 per taco is not justifiable. The taco truck down the street sells then for $2 and $1 on taco Tuesday. The beans and rice were half filled in the little cup they give. I got the taco combo 2 tacos w beans & rice. Overall fresh tortillas are good, half filled cup of rice and beans with no seasoning. Definitely not worth $15 at least give refills on soft drinks.

Food was very mediocre. Ordered the carne asada breakfast burrito and the bacon breakfast burrito. The eggs were wet, the meat was chewy with no flavor, and the beans made the tortilla soggy. The only good part was the flavor of the tortilla - even the sauces and salsas weren’t very good. They didn’t have potatoes for the burrito so it was just a soggy mess. I will come back to try lunch items but so far I’m not impressed. Staff was very friendly and the patio was nice to sit on!

Came here for some tacos since I was driving by on my way home. I asked for no salsa and when I got home, they all had salsa. When I called to let them know, I didn’t even get to speak with a manager. They wanted me to come back so they could remake them and asked me to bring the tacos. Made me feel like a liar or thief since I didn’t want to drive all the way back. They said they’d refund me instead but never got the refund … Don’t think I’ll ever be back

The food leaves a lot to be desired. The taco meat has no flavor at all, completely bland and without salt. The guacamole was unpleasant, it doesn’t taste like Mexican food at all. Everything is tasteless, even the al pastor tacos taste bad. Even the tortillas lack flavor.

Caught the cashier trying to steal 3 dollars. Here’s what happened: The number 1 combo is 2 tacos, side of rice and beans and a drink for 12 dollars. I noticed the total was high at 16 something so I ask for the receipt. Which he was shocked I asked for he’s like oh you need it?? He gives it to me and goes to hide somewhere. I’m reading the receipt and it hits me, he had added another horchata for $3 on top of the combo price. He says it’s because the horchatas come bottled. So I look at the menu and it shows fountain drinks $3.50 and horchata $3.50. So why do I have to pay 3 dollars extra? Chose the wrong guy to do your little scam on buddy.

Supper disappointed in my visit here! We love your tacos but had a horrible experience. The counter was a complete mess with Salsa everywhere and containers almost completely out. There were 4 employees and most them just standing around looking at the screen confused with orders. We waited almost 30 minutes for 3 tacos and a burito and it wasn't even busy when we arrived. I finally went up to the counter to ask about my order to find out they hadn't even put it in. Basically they skipped it and forgot about us! Wow! While waiting I overheard others going to the counter and letting them know their orders were wrong or food was cold. When I got my order it was missing items and The meat on our tacos was very fatty and burnt. Get it together please! We love the tacos over on Ventura blvd but with this experience it made us never want to come back and let others know the same!

Unfortunately they sucked. Took awhile to get a shorted order. No ice in the beverages and tortillas tasted cold un cooked. Want a real good spot hit up Vampiro Tacos in sylmar!!

Not Worth the price. I'm Mexican and they still don't compare to the LA street level tacos. I understand if do don't come the background and have not been to Mexico. You will not be able to have good judgement. You are better off with the LA street tacos made by central Americans 😂. Try them. They are 5/5. Drink and hungry like leaving the bar with a Torta if you haven't had.

Hello. I never review places really but this place was not good. It was my first time because I don’t live around Northridge. So I googled food near me and this taco place came up. It looked like they served good food and the presentation looks nice. But when I went the tacos were cold. The tortilla cold and a bit undercooked. The carne asada cold. Not even warm. I told the guy at the window it was my first time at that restaurant. And the Coca Cola from the soda machine tastes like some watered down warm Pepsi.And this is with ice in the cup. Not worth the money I spent. First and Last Time ever going to this place. I could have asked them to re make the tacos for me. But why should I have to do that. They literally just made them. I feel bad for all the student from CSUN that eat there. It’s not good. My stomach hurts as I’m writing this. Ate cold tacos. Not cool. Step it up guys. Please. Thank you.

The guacamole they put on the taco was just comical. At nearly $4 per taco you’d expect great portions but you’d be wrong. Don’t recommend coming if you’re hungry.
