Back in 1979 I visited a bar called "The Tamarack" I still have the book of matches from it. The address on the book is "Old Rte. 30 Sacandaga Park Northville N.Y. I had such a good time up there and I wanted to know if Vic's Tavern is the place. Thanks John D.

Me and my friend come here for the talkative of the bar to the food. They meant very good wings. Don't get them anyway, you want, there's TV everywhere. You can get your tickets here. You can do. You can do your numbers here. I highly recommend. I will give it 50 stars.

I was looking for the best dive in town, and I found my favorite one I’ve ever been to. The people here from bartender to customers are amazing. Of my dozens of road trips from the midwest to the east coast, this place made me feel better than being at home. The food is excellent too. I was shocked at how good it is. Everyone talks about their pig roasts, and yup, amazing. I love this place. You will too, if you like dives.

Vics tavern !! The "hole in the wall" hidden GEM! WHOLESOME, SUPER SUPER FUN, family oriented ,everyone is welcoming , pleasant surprise of a bar. This is the bars bar. So much charecture. With AMAZING Chicken wings, and burgers !!!! Honestly, all of their food is amazing. But you HAVE to try to the chicken wings! Hands down my favorite bar in sacandaga lake !!!!

We rolled in with 10 people pretty suddenly. It was a bit of a scramble but the staff pulled it all together. This is not fine dining, but the wings were solid. Burger was good. Fries were ok, but the staff was awesome. I could see this being a fun bar for locals

Prices are relatively consistent here for alcohol as found in near bars/establishments. Good staff and a small comfortable place to get drinks without having to get dressed up. There are bar games and food menu here. There is a small parking area but can be tricky to find parking at times.
