The quality of food at this place and service is simply some of the best around. Everything they serve is phenomenal and filling. The horchata is the best I've had and all other pale in comparison. My kid loves this spot. He gets the shrimp taco plate. Try it sometime, they are amazing!

Those awards on the wall- they deserve all plus more! Don't be fooled, they are no longer on Lomas in that small spot where you ordered outside. They are on Menaul and 4th. More seating but same great service! Wonderful family-owned place! The food is excellent! They have a Cheesecake Factory-type menu! Be prepared for choices! Carne Asada tacos (favorite) Update: 10/2024 Something changed. Maybe an off night, I don't know, but the asada tacos were not the same usually great tasting.

Super busy, always packed. Go early to beat the lunch crowd. I haven't had a bad dish yet. Currently stuck on the Caldo....so good!! My friend had fajitas tasted like summer time. The peppers were full of fla or a d the meats were great!!

Such an awesome Mexican restaurant. All quality and no frills. Non of that bougie Mexican food rip off. This place has it all. We went for breakfast and the menu options were plenty. The food was even better when it came out. Huge burritos for an incredible price. I’m going back to try their Asada burritos. They look heart stopping and delicious!

Stopped though and found this gem! For the size of portions compared to prices it’s a steal! We loved it all. Tons of options on the menu. Wait staff is super friendly! California burrito will change your life. It’s massive.. eat here. Eat here often.

If you’re ever in Albuquerque and you want Mexican food, you better stop here. This food was was so good. It taste like it was made at someone house verses at a restaurant. The meat was well seasoned. I had a burrito, chicken taco and beef taco. The burrito had so much meat. This food taste incredibly authentic. The women in the kitchen must be from Mexico because it doesn’t taste like TexMex it taste like true authentic Mexican food.

Amazing food at a reasonable price! We ordered two tortas and they were big enough that we both brought home almost half. The service was excellent and the quality of the food was great! Give them I try when you are in the mood for some good Mexican cuisine in a casual atmosphere.

This place is a gem. I ordered the fish taco for $10 (Their Friday daily special). We also got tacos ala carte (Al Pastor, Asada, Barbacoa, Lengua, Shrimp, Chicharrones, Carnitas, and Shredded Beef). Every single one was so delicious! The atmosphere is extremely welcoming, I recommend you get a Guava Jarritos (or 3 of them) and order extra limes, salsa and napkins. The tortillas were also the perfect amount of crispy; no joke. Nothing was burnt and everything was seasoned correctly. If you’d like to see videos, feel free to go to my IG @birdyflu03

The freshest, fastest and nicest wait staff, simply an excellent lunch experience. This place is super busy but the staff was so nice & unhurried and the food, wow!!! Hot, tasty and seasoned perfectly. The chicken flautas came with sour cream, guacamole, salad, rice & beans for less than $10! If you can see the dining room wall, you’ll see they’ve been voted “best of” years in a row. Try them out!

I have yet to have a bad meal!! The tortas are delicious (lengua) is excellent. Full of flavor! However my favorite by far is the Ceviche Camaron. So fresh!!! The best for a hot day with a Coca. The coctel de camaron is will worth every penny... only 2 shrimp, nah. 5 shrimp, come on. 8,9,10+ large shrimp with tons of fresh avocado❗❗ ¡Muy bien!❤

Restaurant staff are very polite and the food is delicious. I'm from CA and you don't find many good mexican restaurants. I highly recommend this place. I also enjoyed it last year when I was in Albuquerque. Enjoy!

Al pastor tacos were dry and seemed like the crumbs from the bottom of the pan. My wife got tamales and enchiladas, and they were also dry. I ordered a tres leches to go and got this tiny, beat-up piece. The cake was dry and tasted very sour. I have been here for lunch, and all of the food was fresh and tasted good. Maybe the food was sitting too long and not cooked fresh.

The barbacoa was good, not greasy. Shrimp was slightly overdone but whole taco was flavorful. Tres leches was too dry. Complimentary salsa was too watery and not too tasty. Staff were friendly. Service was quick, but I was one of two tables.

After going in to taqueria Mexico over the past three years usually I'm happy with the restaurant. However today I walk in for a Togo order place the order for five tacos then waited 30 plus mins watch customers (4 different orders)who came in after me receive there food. When I ask the person who help me she said well I can't control how or when they make the food . I then asked her for a refund she ignored me then in Spanish started talking about me to the two female cooks who both stopped what they were doing to give me dirty looks . She then basically throw the order at me I told her again I wanted a refund she then said you should have said something before the food was ready , which I did she just ignored me when I did. I'm very disappointed and will not return ... all this after a gave here a 7 dollar tip on a 25 dollar order . She did not refund the tip .

Somewhat disappointed given it’s rating. The asada on both the Taco 🌮 and Burrito was not prepared well. Oh well. Just driving thru town. Have a great Taco Tuesday.
