These guys certainly have an A+ in my book. Loved this small, cozy family style joint right off Telegraph. Tried the turkey burger with fries and was pleasantly surprised by its clean, organic flavor — simple yet satisfying. My wife went with the Impossible Burger and garlic fries. Can’t really say much for the Impossible Burger. The newspaper-themed french fry holder added a nice touch to the presentation. A+ Burger lives up to its name with thoughtful ingredients and bold flavors that don’t feel overdone.

I got the A+ burger and garlic fries as a side. The burger was humongous and perfectly seasoned. I thought all of the components of the burger worked really well together!! The burger patty was also cooked medium just as I wanted! The fries were still really crispy, even though I got it delivered to my place. Everything was so good. I will definitely order from the place again!!

A+ Burgers in Oakland is a cozy, casual spot perfect for a fun hangout. The crispy chicken burger was crunchy and flavorful, and the eggplant burger was a nice veggie option. Fresh ingredients and chill vibes all around.

I treat myself on my days off which usually falls on a Wednesday. I love the A+ Burger and the fried green beans but can’t ever finish it all. Today I got my usual burger and Lemon cake for dessert. This is my heaven!!

Their signature A+ burger is amazing. Got it medium without cheese and it was cooked perfectly. All the ingredients are fresh and crisp. The bun was buttery and soft. Bacon and lettuce added a bit of crunch and the eggplant just took it to another level. If anything, maybe the burger was too full, but I think that’s great if the ingredients are high quality which they are. Definitely also give the green bean fries a try! It’s definitely a more premium burger, but I’m totally willing to keep paying for it if it’s consistently this good. Will be back to try other menu items. Outdoor patio is cute but music was just a bit loud. Don’t think there’s dedicated parking but street parking is available.

First of all… I came to A+ burger with a man who is very particular about the crunch of his french fries. He usually asks for extra crispy and places usually burn them. HOWEVER A+ Burger aced the fry challenge. They aced my KBBQ burger with the fried egg and everything. I don’t know how they have random Korean food here and spicy pork… but I love it and it was delicious and a nice clean restaurant. Cute little patio dining. Very very tasty and good prices. I would LOVE to eat here again.

A delicious ,custom cooked thick hamburger patty with as many toppings as you could imagine. Mine included crisoy bacon Served with well seasoned thick cut fries. First time visit but will return to try more on the menu including their fish sandwich. A wide variety of shakes are available.

A small boutique burger restaurant that’s popular with the locals. Burgers are generously sized and mine filled me up. I would rate the burgers well, albeit a little pricey. There is no table service as you order and pickup at the cashier, and you seat yourself at an open table. All in all, the restaurant atmosphere was clean and inviting.

Finally tried the A+ burger. My family tried A1, A+, Korean BBQ, and fish burger. Korean BBQ was really juicy literally, dropping lots of liquid but it was yummy. The fish burger was great.

Ordered the California burger and garlic fries (1st pic) and the A+ burger. I'm not the biggest eggplant guy but it worked well on the A+ burger, it had a lot of good flavor and was very juicy/large. My only complaint is that I wish the patty was a little larger but I still found myself full! My gf very much enjoyed the California burger, said it was very very good and her favorite parts were the bacon and avocado. The garlic fries were very tasty and had the perfect amount of toppings/was a good consistency. My total was ~$35 I wanna say, so a little pricy but good! Also, we took the food to go but the outside seating is very nice at night.

Burgers are put together well. I tried just a basic single cheeseburger with mayo, bacon, lettuce, tomato and onion. Pretty satisfying even though ti was over cooked just a little. I wouldn't hold it against them. I do absolutely love their French Fries. Best fries I've had in a long time. Service was great and got my order quick. Outdoor seating was covered from elements and clean. I will for sure go again & test out more of the menu.

I ordered delivery from this place and honestly, I was a bit underwhelmed. The portion size of the Spicy Chicken Breast Burger was generous, but I wouldn’t order it again. The flavor was very inconsistent—some bites were overly salty while others were completely bland, and overall the burger just lacked seasoning and taste. For something labeled “spicy,” it didn’t have much of a kick either. The chocolate shake was thick and decent. The packaging was neat and well done, which I appreciate. Overall, I’d say this spot might work for people who prefer very plain or mild food, but if you’re looking for bold flavor, this probably isn’t the place. Definitely disappointing given the expectations.

I have passed by this place for years and never felt convinced of giving it a try, however I saw so many amazing reviews, positive comments about their eggplant burger, I was finally sold! First I asked the cashier which burger she liked better between the Teriyaki and the A+, shockingly she replied she has never tried them, I asked for the turkey one, zero, she’s never tried the food she sells period 😶. I kept reading the menu and a second cashier offered help, she had tried the menu and she recommended the A+, by then I was super curious about the eggplant since folks say is crispy and delicious. I ordered a vegan eggplant sandwich and garlic fries. The fries were the best part! The sandwich looked good but had a thick-as-my-finger slice of whole onion, I took two rings and covered the eggplant patties. My sandwich had a large scoop of coleslaw and a thick layer of tomato and lettuce, all soggy and wilted by the heat of the fried eggplant. The eggplant was strangely thin on the edges and fat, raw and rubbery in the rest. Inedibly raw and rubbery… 🥴 Pretty much I paid $12.50 for a soggy bun with wilted veggies and lots of mayo. The fries were alright but more oily than garlicky, a true disappointment. The burgers may be good, I will never know! I checked the website to ask for a refund but the only contact info they have is their phone number, not an email address. I called and was put on hold so, Google it is! A+ if you see this, I would like a refund. Thanks!
