The food was incredible! The injera was sour, spongy, and amazing! The vegetarian combo had a great combination of flavors and I would recommend it to everyone! The service was great too!

So good! I’ve been to a few Ethiopian locations in Oakland and Berkeley and all are delicious but I loved the service and atmosphere here along with the flavorful and filling meal. Splitting the combination plate between two hungry people was not only plenty of food, but a wonderful about of variety. We had leftovers and they tasted great the following days too. Loved this place and I’ll be back! 😋🇪🇹

Always a good sign seeing a largely East African clientele spending a Sunday afternoon here at this Ethiopian standalone establishment on Telegraph. The vegetarian combo balanced a nice mix of spicy and mild. Yemeser Wot lentils had a depth of flavor unmatched. Fried fish, yum. Injera tastefully tangy, with the original from the homeland available upon request. While a bit pricey compared to other Ethiopian restaurants, the dishes are well-worth the few extra dollars. Currently, my go-to Ethiopian restaurant in East Bay.

This is one of the many great Ethiopian restaurants around the Oakland/Berkeley area. We ordered the combo platter and it came with a great assortment of your usual sides. It was nice of our server to throw in extra injera! Prices are very reasonable and the presentation, quality, and portion of the food was great!

We visited Addis for dinner. Staff was patient and courteous. Food was very satisfying. We ordered the Veg Combo Platter, Tibs, Fassolia and Addis Roll. All items were good although I may not repeat the Addis Roll.

Amazing food served with delightfully tasting injera bread. Everything is delicious here. I stick to the veggie options but my husband adores the seafood options. Don't hesitate to try any of the appetizers although they'll leave you feeling full before you even get to the best part.

My friend and I REALLY enjoyed the delicious meal plus heartfelt jazz music...what a treat! Excellent service and the aroma of the authentic dishes was mouthwatering! This place has one the best Ethiopian food I have ever had eaten for long time. With nice atmosphere and excellent service.

I ordered the veggie fir fir and the kitfo. The fir fir was just okay; the injera was packed together instead of light and fluffy. The kitfo was solid, and I’d order it again. Their injera overall is light, delicious, and made with 100% teff.

The service was thoroughly unpleasant and rude, the food was mediocre at best and to top it off, we saw rats around the back of the building when we left the parking lot. There are so many Ethiopian restaurants in this neighborhood, I would strongly recommend that you try one of the others. So disappointing on many levels.
