I love the fries at Chubby Freeze they always give a good amount, and it’s definitely worth the price you’re paying. The shakes are super good too, especially when you get the mixed flavors. Highly recommend!

I just went to Chubby Freeze and their milkshake was amazing. I’ve been to other places and bought large shakes, but they never seem like a real large. At Chubby Freeze their large actually looks like a large. You really get what you pay for. The bacon cheeseburger was full of flavor and really good. I’ll definitely be coming back.

If you are ever in Oakland, CA. I can't recommend Chubby Freeze enough. Growing up in the 80's, I remember all these one off burger joints or local chains that made incredibly good burgers, sandwiches, and other food. There were no giant lighted logos, there were no commercials on TV, there were no gimmicks. They were not part of the burger wars. They just made good quality food, on the cheap, that kept local customers coming back. Sadly, over the years most of these places have fallen victim to the vast over-commercialization of the fast food industry. Chubby Freeze survives! I had a steak sandwich and pastrami burger, and all I could think while eating them is I hadn't experienced that taste in forever. It was almost like I'd forgotten. It tasted like my youth. It was glorious. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Due to a technical glitch , their online ordering system wasn't sending them info on orders. All I had to do was show the order and receipt on my phone, and my food was quickly prepared

The same lady that takes my order everytime is always patient and kind. I've only tried their fries and ice cream cones. They give you alot of French fries and a huge ice cream cone. They make the best cones. Better than mcdonalds, foster freeze, anywhere else I've order an ice cream cone. They are really filled with ice cream for reals.

I was just driving by when I noticed this restaurant, so I decided to stop and order their fish sandwich with a meal. They give you a bag full of fries, and everything was delicious. The sandwich was great, the fish was tasty, and the sauce was perfect—no complaints whatsoever. I'm planning to go back very soon to try everything on the menu. I still need to sample their milkshakes and ice cream, but I didn't have a chance on this visit. Overall, the food I had was stunning. The fries were fresh, hot, and crispy, and I really appreciate how generous they are with the portion. I can't wait to go back!

I was just driving by when I noticed this restaurant, so I decided to stop and order their fish sandwich with a meal. They give you a bag full of fries, and everything was delicious. The sandwich was great, the fish was tasty, and the sauce was perfect—no complaints whatsoever. I'm planning to go back very soon to try everything on the menu. I still need to sample their milkshakes and ice cream, but I didn't have a chance on this visit. Overall, the food I had was stunning. Okay, the atmosphere could be MUCH improved. Just some TLC could really change the ambience. I’ve never been given so many french fries. The steak sandwich was actually pretty decent! I didn’t expect much from this place, but it surprised me.

Good food, staff isn't the best customer service but I think they have constant turnover. The Atmosphere is a little Ghetto and only take out because of the area. But they make a great burger. I get mine A double bacon with cheese with grilled jalapeño and grilled onions!

For almost $7 for the sandwich alone i would rather have gotten 2 or 3 Filet-O-Fish sandwiches from McDonald's seriously! I will come back because I want to try a burger next time as well as a shake. Place was rather small but clean and the young lady that took my order was very polite! Hopefully a burger can encourage me to give them more stars next time! They accept debit, they have outdoor seating and even a order window outside if dont want to order inside.

$12 dollars will get you this, no fríes no drink , if you want this as a meal it’s like $20 not worth it no more, it feels like you’re eating a bread burger. The meat patty ratio to the bun is off…I been here for YEARS, and never felt played the pastrami sandwich is definitely fire but the experience with the burger just different so have in mind I’m not bashing on chubby freeze just giving my honest opinion
