Super cute and chill vibe! Drinks were good and bartender was very nice! It was pretty full of people at about 5pm.
Cutest bar I’ve ever been to! Love this vibes at this place! From the decorations with a duck theme, to the duck drinks and even staff all was 10 out of 10 amazing experience! I think this place is perfect for a night out with friends or a date night! Can’t wait to go back and highly recommend!
I ordered a “Paper Plane” and it came with a duckie for garnish! It was both delicious and delightful. There ceiling has lots of open bird cages decorated with lifelike birds and the bar is called Little Bird, but one rarely expects this level of commitment to the bit. Because of the bird in my drink, I struck up some conversations with locals there for happy hour, even though I’m kind of shy with people I don’t know. Maybe I’m making too much of a little touch, but I think a purpose of a bar is to socialize and if they create an atmosphere thar helps you do that, it should be considered. Also very near BART and my office so I’ll certainly by agitating my coworkers to make this our regular. Prices here are what I’ve come to expect for cocktails—not excessive but not inexpensive. Then again, they are delicious and you might get a duckie!
So nice to have a bar on the block again! Tasty cocktails, super friendly bartender, and great music. The happy hour from 4-6 is a great deal
Great bar with good cocktails and service
Adorable hidden gem!! The music is jumping and the drinks are excellent. Super cute decor and friendly service, definitely coming back!
Super chill little spot with an awesome upstairs section.

My partner and I were looking for a very casual, low-key venue to celebrate our wedding, and that’s when we came across Little Bird. From our very first interaction with Jen, we felt how warm and easy it was to work with her. She emailed us the different package options and was very transparent about pricing, explaining that we could add or remove items or move them around within the budget to make it work for us. That openness made the whole process feel stress-free. We then met her at the bar to see the space and discuss food, drinks, and all the details. On the day of the celebration, everything was absolutely perfect. We had about 30 guests, and the space looked beautiful—exactly what we wanted. The food was delicious, the drinks were fantastic (we had three special cocktail requests in addition to the open bar), and the ambiance was just right. Nate and the other two bartenders were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely friendly. So many of our guests told us how much fun they had and how great the service was. We would absolutely recommend Little Bird for any celebration or event. Huge thanks to Jen and the entire Little Bird staff for making our day extra special, loving, and fun.
Miguel took such good care of us. This was a rough day and it was made so much better by his hospitality, humor, and authenticity. We will surely be back and this was 100% due to Miguel. Amazing guy.
Excellent service. Excellent drinks. The prosciutto vodka is unique and highly recommended. Great bartenders and mixologists.
The best little bar in downtown!!! It's cute, the music is perfect, the vibes are immaculate, the bartender was fantastic, everything about it is 100/10. If you're in the area and looking for a great cocktail with a side a delightful, this is your spot.
The bartender was fantastic. I think her name is Cindy. I had the “Flight to Oaxaca”. The mezcal was great! Highly recommend stopping by and hanging out a bit.
Radio was a great dive, may it RIP. While we can mourn the loss of great bars like it, it’s worth acknowledging how difficult it is to keep a bar afloat, especially post-covid. And equally worth celebrating when bars get replaced by bars rather than by other bullshit businesses or nothing at all. I hope Little Bird will live up to the Radio legacy and also carve out a new niche for itself in an area so ripe for a shotgun dive. I have nothing but good things to say about the friendly (but not overbearing) bartenders and drinks. Beer and shot happy hour special is the perfect way to start a debaucherous Oakland evening.
We visited Little Bird early on a Friday eve. Cocktails were inventive and yummy! Boss Hogg and Little Oaxaca were standouts. Bartender was funny and friendly. Fun place to land.

Amazing place. I had gone out with some friends and had an incredible night thanks to our bartender Hera. I accidently left my card at the bar and came in during Super Bowl Sunday to pick it up. I wasn’t planning on being there long but ended up staying 2 hours thanks to the bartender Anaïs (I hope I got her name right.) Such good people and this will be the bar I tell my friends to go to if they want to have a good time.

This bar is quite clean and fairly aesthetically pleasing with a decent drink menu. Not too too expensive either. It doesn't quite have the same charm that Radio, the previous bar, did, but that was a classic Oakland dive bar. This definitely feels like its trying to cater to a bit of a fancier/more business crowd. The bartender was pleasant but seemee a little distracted. One thing I noticed was that the sounds of conversations echoed and overpowered the space even when not packed; likely due to some changes with the interior. Made it a little difficult to talk to the person right next to me. Yet, all in all, it was definitely a nice experience, and I'll likely go again someday!
Cool bar. They put ducks on all the drinks. Including wine. Duck themed I guess. It's charming and was the only thing open on memorial Day past 9pm. Stopped by for a late night drink. Service was great and most of all the music choice was sick.

The margarita was okay but the service was incredibly slow - we ended up leaving and going to a different bar in the area. Someone was smoking out front and it wafted into the entire bar and really upset the general vibe. A little bummed out especially after seeing how many great reviews there were.

I’ll start by being honest — I’m not usually someone who goes to bars. I only stop in very occasionally if I’m in between things and hoping to have an interesting conversation with someone. I’m not a big drinker, and I usually order just one drink and rarely finish it. I tried one of their signature cocktails (the one that comes with the little rubber ducky in the glass), which was fun and definitely a high-end presentation & price tag What disappointed me, though, was the atmosphere. It was surprisingly hard to strike up conversations. People seemed pretty fragmented, with many drinking alone, and the bartender didn’t do much to facilitate a social vibe. I stayed for about 15 minutes and then left. At the time I lived across the street and had come because someone I’d gone on a date with recommended it, so I was hoping for a more engaging experience.
Did not particularly felt welcome. I ordered a drink that seemed a pain to prepare. Lively atmosphere. May work better for you!

Has potential but employees aren’t great. The bartender tried to charge me for more than the drink costs on the menu. Luckily I paid with credit card. Definitely felt unwelcome. The ducks are probably pretty unsanitary too. Wouldn’t recommend when there’s literally dozens of other options.
