They have good lunch prices for the mini hot pots. The broth for the beef satay was delicious and there is a good amount of meat and vegetables. It comes with rice or noodles to make sure you are full. It takes some effort to wave down some help. The mini hot pots can fit into a lunch hour as long as you get your order in quickly.
Great place to watch, the all you can eat hot pot was great , They had a side bar with a lot of seasonings and flavors , was really good for the soup base! Definitely coming back again !
Hot pot at it finest. My first experience here will not be my last! Authentic cuisine in a very comfortable setting. Tucked in Downtown Oakland, this is absolutely worth a visit. All of the best flavors of Asian cuisine in one place. The all you can eat hot pot dinner is absolutely amazing. Don't take my word for it, try it for yourself.
I've been to this place several times and I always come out really stuffed, so that's a good thing. The selection is decent and the broth and sauces are delicious. Good for small and large groups. Make sure to come hungry and leave happy.
I came here to try steam food last week. It was impressive to see everything we ordered lined up on the double-decker cart by our table. The waiter steamed each item for us and the food came out better than I expected. At the end of the dinner, we were given a bowl of porridge flavored with the food we ordered and steamed , it was extremely delicious. After my first visit , I feel lucky that I came and tried it otherwise I won't know it could be so good .
Great tea served - had a nice fragrance. The soup bases were quite flavorful (hot&spicy and mixed mushrooms), especially with leafy vegetables soaking them up. I really liked how the fish sole fillets were pre-seasoned so it had its own flavor coming out of the pot. I think it was the same case for the meats and poultry as well though it didn't seem as visible before putting them into the pot. I've found that in my hot pot experience, unseasoned meat/poultry/fish can get rather bland unless overcooked despite the soup base being flavorful. The meat and chicken slices were thin and easily cooked. My waitress was quite attentive to my friend's and my needs. I look forward to getting hot pot here again.
Working from home today, wanted to treat my grandparents to some food. My grandpa loved it !!! He is always hard to impress, but he stated that everything had flavor. Thank you for the amazing food and allowing me to feed my grandparents above and beyond quality food. We also love the eggs that are marinated 😍😍😍
I live in Stockton and it is always worth the drive to go to this delicious restaurant. Their hot pot is the best I ever had, but if you're not in the mood for hotpot then there are normal menu is equally as amazing
Love this place. It's our go-to hot pot place. I haven't had anything else there though. They give you 2 soups, the coconut one has yummy strips of coconut in it too. The soups are actually delicious before you start cooking in them. There are lots of side dish options, plus the all you can eat comes with boba. The meat is good quality usually.
Excellent hot pot, we got the mini pots which turned out to be not so mini and we had plenty leftovers to go. Our bespectacled server was helpful and requested the chef to make my sichuan pot vegetarian. It came out brothing full of enoki mushroom, tofu, napa cabbage, mushrooms and other goodies. My gf tried the lamb mini which was also fantastic, packed its own variant of spice and the tofu sheets in there soaked up the delicious flavors. She also really liked the plate of fire clams.

I love all you can eat hotpot! I try to come once a week when I’m not busy.
This all you can eat hot pot spot is a hidden gem! The broths were out of this world, one of them was made by cracking open a real coconut and pouring it right into the pot. Portions are huge, the quality is amazing, and it’s all very pocket-friendly. I’m never going back to my old hot pot place after this!
Delicious steamed Asian seafood spot. My group of 4 did the seafood set menu for 6 and it came with 6 dishes. All delicious. What they do is they steam all the seafood and you can use diff toppings from the topping bars to add flavor. One downside is you have to wait for the server to take the dishes out of the steamer. And if it gets busy, they might take a while to get back to you, so the seafood can get over cooked. But regardless, I will definitely be back. The highlight includes a pooridge at the bottom of the steamer, and at the end of all the dishes, the pooridge absorbs all the flavors of the various seafoods steamed previously.
Hidden gem in Oakland Chinatown! Very comfortable atmosphere. Even if you don't order sea food, the quality and taste is quite good. We had minipot, grilled items, boba, and croquettes. As a sidenote: That robot server makes me happy!!

Over the years, I enjoyed their lunch and dinner. The foods are wonderful, chicken Inagi being one of my favorites. The special spice carriage is fresh and well organized. The hot ports are unbelievably fresh with varieties. More importantly, cleanness and friendly customer service are my attractions. I highly recommend.
Went for CNY dinner with a party of 6, spent about $30 per person on AYCE, but it was worth it, wide variety of meats and vegetables to choose from on the AYCE menu, sauce bar wasn't necessarily lit up well, hard to see some of the options, but it didn't take away from the experience at all! Great place for hotpot in the East Bay!
Went for lunch time hot pot and it did not disappoint. A little on the quieter side, a better alternative to crowded weekends. Range of food is awesome. Loved the bbq and custard pork buns

The happy hour is crazy good. Order all at once so you didn't miss out when the HH window expires. Skewers for $1 is amazing for both the lamb and the chicken.
I went around 8:30 pm with my friend and we got the "All you can Eat" Hotpot and it was great. My only hang up about it was that they didn't tell us which meat was which. For our second order (which was smaller than our first), we ordered seafood and veggies. The seafood came but not the veggies. Kinda disappointed because that's what I really wanted. The hostess checked in on us occasionally, but for the most part we were left alone. All and all, an enjoyable experience, but the missing items took away that star.
Very tasty! I ordered the chicken dumpling seaweed soup. It was quite simple but satisfying. Seafood was fresh! I recommend if you're looking for Chinese soups and hot pot. I would eat here again.
Showed up at 6pm on a Friday, second customers. Never been to a place like this where they steam everything at the table you're sitting at. The menu was overwhelming so we decided to let them choose the meal and got a packaged deal for two. Dinner went fine, the food was good and strange at times since it was stuff I've never had before. Razor clams, chicken gizzards, steamed oysters (not a fan), lobster, chicken with weird orange tendrils I'm guessing was tendons? No idea. Overall it was a fun experience. When we left at around 7:30 it was getting packed.
Not many restaurants opened at night in Oakland Chinatown but glad I found this one. The place appears to share the same kitchen with the restaurant adjacent to them as they have some crossover. The menu had lots of options ranging from AYCE, hot pot a la carte, mini hotpot, sushi and some type of steam food. We opted for a few of their appetizers including the chicken gizzard (acquired taste) and the seasoning was different; wasn't your standard bbq sauce but a dry rub with heavy hint of cumin. Their spicy sauce chicken wings is a must try; perfect blend of not-too-overpowering heat with a tangy taste to it. The home-made dumpling are huge and full of flavor. The mini hot pot varied. The Szchuan had good taste and heat, while the Japanese hot pot felt like a jumbo Udon noodle soup. The lamb pot had lot of meat but I would've prefer if it had more vegetables. The spare-ribs dry pot was good and lighting a flame in the warmer created a sizzling sound and fragrant aroma. One thing I would like them to change is to include tea with the meal. The waiter brought over a pot of hot water (which we thought was tea) but then told tea would be extra. A few tea bags can't be that expensive (about a $1.00 maybe?).
An unique experience of steamed gourmet seafood in the East Bay. The food were fresh and tasty. Great for a large group. However, you will expecting about $40 a person for dinner without alcohols.
First time trying steamed seafood and it was pretty good. The congee was definitely the best part of the dinner with all the seafood dripping into to create a delicious seafood congee.
Table side single serving hot pot. Depends on your voice the pot can be a lot more than one person can eat. I've tried several and looked them all. Service is slow and a bit confusing. Depending on who takes your order, you either mark your order in the laminated menu or the server will take the order and mark the laminated menu. The kicker is they never give you enough menu so everybody could order their own that's what makes it confusing. Last time we came here with a group of 10 all there dishes arrived at different times and some people finished while others sat they're still waiting for their food. Coming with a smaller group is much better as everyone is served at the same time.
First time we come here and this place is nice and food is tasty and full of flavor, this place have everything kind of asian food like sushi or hot pot or authentic chinese also.
It's a new find for me. Evidently, this form of steam kitchen format is very popular new form of restaurants in China. The menu is huge. We did not go for the all-you-can-eat hot pot. Instead we went for the steamed pot. The staff did all the cooking in front of our table, making sure all the lovely fresh seafood is cooked to perfection. While some dishes come with special tasty sauces, most vegetables are steamed plainly and we go to the buffet of sauces to make our own concoction of sauce dips. All the seafood we tried, dungeness crab, razor clams, giant clams, scallops and fish were all super fresh and wonderful. Service was good. Only complaint was when we made reservations, we were allowed only choice of either 5:00 or 7:30.
Visiting Oakland, how can you not enjoy going to have Chinese food at one of the finest. It was really an experience to cook my own foods as it was brought to the table. This was really an experience that you got to try.
You can believe the seafood here . Fresh!!^^ Just in the Oakland 11th . For me , it is not safety. Birthday, we got the free milk tea , taste well !

They messed up my order but their food is decent! Garlic Oyster is not very good, and the chicken curry bento box is alright, but the dim sum is on point! Unagi and Beef Donburi was super bland… it seriously needs seasoning. Basically, only the dim sum is good.
Probably deserves more stars, but we were disappointed the hot pot was only 'all you can eat', which would be fine if we were crazy hungry. But we just wanted a few items for 2 people and didn't need to stuff ourselves.. So the price was too much compared to order-as-you-go hot pot.
Great for those cold nights with a couple of friends or family. Food was okay. Tea was very nice. The spicy miso hot pot was a bit too salty for my preference. Chicken was a bit weird, I don't know how to explain it. I was disappointed the dim sum was pre Frozen and steamed before eating but hey gotta be efficient I guess when serving a variety of foods. Dim sum is not their specialty so can't bang them for that. The staff was very polite and helpful. Give it a try with friends or family on a cool or cold night.
I enjoy this place. It is either affordable if you stick with land mammals but any seafood beyond shrimp and kai, it gets expensive fast. If you want to try something different, come here. They steam your food right in front of you. You concoct a sauce from their sauce bar, then dip and enjoy. Good for healthy eating.
I pass by this place a lot during my lunch walks and finally decided to give it a try. They offer lunch special mini hotpots, and each pot comes with a free drink, a choice of green tea or black tea. I was seated quickly, and the server took my order right away. The service was friendly and welcoming. Since I knew what I wanted and only had an hour for lunch, I placed my order immediately, knowing it might take some time to prepare. I had the Szechuan Spicy Pot, which came with beef, fish filet, enoki, tofu, clam, shrimp, cabbage, glass noodles, fish ball, corn, pork blood, and squid balls, and a choice of rice or noodles. The portion-wise was good, and had lots of different ingredients. But the flavor was lacking; Szechuan flavor should have the bold, numbing, and tingling sensation, but I didn't find any from this pot. My sister got the Satay Beef Pot; the flavor was spot on. So if you are craving spicy, I would not recommend getting their Szechuan Spicy Pot.

I've eaten here for years and usually don't have a problem with ordering until this year. The first time, the waiter misheard what I said. I order grilled fish, and it ended up being grilled chicken for some odd reason. I didn't ask to fix it and just ate it. The second time I had learned from the first mistake and MARKED my orders on the menu. So tell me why did the waiter NOT take the menu from my hands that was already MARKED with orders and decided to listen from word of mouth and mark it himself on a second menu? What is the point in giving us markers then? Needless to say, my order was wrong again! It became confusing because I had already marked both orders for my parents and myself. He says he confirmed it with my sibling. He didn't confirm it with me so of course he had my order wrong. I had specifically marked them down and for some reason this waiter thinks verbal ordering is better than checking the menu that was already marked? I was very upset because I was ravenous by that point, I was craving something spicy and not seafood, and we had to wait a long time for the orders to come out. Also, it was freezing, but at least the soup warmed us up.
The service was so chaotic lol they were messing everything up. The seafood was okay? Not the freshest but acceptable.

All you can eat Shabu without the eating part is a little sad. Server forgot our order several times and we had to flag down other staff. When food did eventually come, half our order was missing. Too many options around to take a chance on this place again. We were excited to try this place, but left disappointed.
My most recent resume visits, service was exceptionally slow, and waiters were inattentive, they would forget several items from our order. They were great the first few times I came here with my wife. It's a novelty experience, but some of the dishes were somewhat bland. They also charge for sauces. They recently started offering dinner ayce on weeknights, likely to boost business on slow nights, but the menu is pretty limited. Most of the time the congee comes out great, but one time it came out very watery and flavorless. It's a mixed bag and the quality of what you get is inconsistent. I'm not sure what to make with the atmosphere - They play a lot of Chinese pop, but then they have a lot of garage-type, dinner decor, that contrasts with the tables and chairs.
Do not waste your $$ and time here. So I work nearby and saw that they had all AYCE hot pot for $25.99 during lunch time and decided to try it with my colleagues. First disappointment was the price was actually $29.99. There was no one else beside us but it took 30 min for our first round of order of food to arrive. It's as if they know we only have an hour for lunch and was intentionally bringing out food "SLOWLY". Our second order didn't get here another 20 min later. By then we had to head back to the office. It took 40 min for our complimentary BOBA milk tea to arrive. It was supposed to be AYC Drink, too. The service was non existent. The waiters intentionally ignored us and tend to those who didn't order AYCE. Let's talk about quality of food. How in the world can you mess up a hot pot? As long as the ingredients are fresh, with the proper combination of condiments, you just can't go wrong with a hot pot, but this place accomplished this. The Wagyu beef looked good raw, but tasted like rubber once cooked. The lamb and pork were mediocre. The vegetables and fish balls were normal. The most noteworthy items were: the French fries and boba milk tea. I left hungry and angry. We will not return.
I’d rate the service, but we didn’t get any. For basic things like water or our food order, we had to flag someone down…and even then it was like we were inconveniencing them. Not once did they try to ask us if everything was ok or if we needed anything, the 3-4 people we saw working were actively avoiding our table. We were 1 of 3 tables. As someone who has worked in hospitality, it was very clear we were getting bad service on purpose…our table consisted of people of various backgrounds with LGBTQIA+ representation. The quality of food was not great especially for the price (we had hot pot). It felt like even though it was all you can eat hotpot, they were desperately trying to not give us food. Please go anywhere else but here.
We have very bad experience in this Chinese restaurant in Chinese new year. They limited what you order and you need wait for long time. Their explian is for cost control. Avoid waste food. They also explained their policy is depend on their judge not for how much you order. They also explain the kitchen can not service as quick as the business need. It's my first time hear the explain like this. So I hope others do not come here to face same service as me.
If I could give zero stars, I would. My aunt made reservations last Saturday to celebrate her 64th birthday. We arrived and were seated at the table. We waited for an hour and never received service. We stopped two workers to ask for assistance but received no help. We were the only African Americans in the establishment. The staff were helping the other customers in the restaurant but would not help us. We decided to take our business elsewhere. I am leaving this review so others who look like me will know that they do not serve people who look like us there. Take your business somewhere else!
Came here because of hotpot buffet almost one hour and the waiter said we cannot order it. Only a la carte was ok to order. We sat and the restaurant was a bit cold but that not the worse part. The worse part is the waiter just land the menu and force us to order immediately while it’s almost an hour before the restaurant will close. This is our first time and of course would be last time for the terrible service I ever have. Cont… We eat for a while and he force us to pay it NOW. I don’t mind and understand that he has to settle the payment and clean everything. So we signed, tip and gave back to him and continue to eat the food BUT he told us right away the restaurant was close Hello?? From what I saw from Google you close at 10:30 and at that time it’s just 10:05 Whoever wants to visit this place better to run away. Food is not good and the service is suck
Food is over priced and didn’t give a half a pound of anything we ordered besides the shrimp. Most of the clams didn't have anything inside, the shrimp felt almost unwashed and overcooked, and the sauce was essentially just butter. I do not recommend coming here.

Came here since it was close to the hotel I was staying, and it was not good. We ordered ramen, udon and rice and the food is simply not tasty. Wouldn’t recommend
