Paradise Park Cafe is a cute, popular spot known for its friendly staff and tasty vegan options like the breakfast burrito and Buddha bowl. Customers rave about the avocado toast and coffee. Some report slow service and inconsistent food quality.

Awesome local cafe. Nice crowd. Amazing pastrami Reuben sandwich with super good GF (Costco) grain bread. Never had their coffee.
Such a cute place! The staff are really sweet and everything here taste great! Thank you to the staff for great recommendations of what to eat.
My work brings me here about once a month, because it's the coffee shop closest to my studio rental that open early. I would say I am satisfied when coming here. The service is good, and no fuss. The breakfast burrito was good, and I would definitely come back in the future.
neighborhood staple with something for everyone! lots of delicious sandos, pastries, and drinks. they have pretty good vegan/veg/GF options too. cute vibe, ample seating, kind staff! we’re so lucky to have this in the neighborhood <3 big points for fresh juice made on the spot (NOT pre-bottled) and they have lots of sweet juices and some savory green ones.
We stopped here for a quick bite on our way to the airport. Great healthy options, service, and location. I am more of a clean veggie and meat foodie. Food options, not too saucy, oily or fried. One of those places difficult to find. Great portions. We got Buddha bowl and vegan burrito.
Cute cafe near a favorite yarn store. Really appreciated being able to use the restrooms before ordering. Clean place with a cheery decor. Lots of cute places to sit or snap a pic. Popular spot with a stout line when we visited. Lots of options listed on the huge menus above the coffee bar. Also a few outside seats, perfect for a lovely action snack.
What a cute and cozy place! Stopped by at 3 PM on a weekday, it was PACKED 😅 Had to strategize my move for a table. Ordered an almond croissant and coffee, surprised at how reasonably priced the food was, given this is such a busy street in Oakland and so popular. I hope it stays that way. Used WiFi to get some work done, while the sun sank over the buildings out front. A Verb for Keeping Warm, one of the bay area’s finest yarn stores, is now right next door which makes it super compelling for me to visit next time.
Wow! I can’t believe that this place has been 2blocks away and Saturday was my first time dining here. I had a mommy daughter breakfast date with my toddler. When we first got there it was no wait and the cashier was so nice, I didn’t get his name but his customer service was AMAZING. We ordered the French toast and I had the egg sandwich with a side of tator tots and fresh squeezed OJ. OMG it was tasty and the garlic aioli on the sandwich was FIRE! We spent about $40.00. I was surprised since my daughter is only 3 but it was ok we enjoyed the gem in our backyard. What I also loved was there an area for kids to play so as we waited she enjoyed all the toys. We will be back for sure. Service was great food was great and the location was AMAZING
Literally the best vegan breakfast burrito I have ever had. And I've had a lot. Went twice after our first time in the next two weeks and the quality remained. Great, friendly staff as well and a very pleasant atmosphere. I'd give six stars if I could!
Love this spot for coffee or a meal and getting some laptop work done.

Super cute cafe, got the chipotle sandwich and a cold brew coffee. There’s a wall full of stickers which I find so cute, gives you something interesting to look at. The staff is very friendly & the music is always good vibes ✨
I ordered a salad with chickpea tofu and it was delicious. I think it’s rare to find such hearty, good quality food - even from places which claim they are doing this. Thank you!
Literally THE best tater tots and avocado toast. I get the avocado toast whenever I come here. Can't even get it anywhere else now because it doesn't compare to here. Honestly everything on their menu is really good. Their coffee is also amazing! Definitely recommend stopping by here (and getting their avocado toast)

Cute little spot with absolutely delicious breakfast options. I wish I’d live here to have this be my regular weekend treat. I absolutely bodied my burrito. It was perfectly cooked and the tomatoes were a delight. Also don’t sleep on the baked goods! Excellent when toasted =) overall VERY good spot

Overall not bad but also not the best. The coffee was good and the service was great and the restaurant itself was nice but the food left something to be desired. The tater tots were good but other than that it seemed overpriced for the quality of food. Would maybe recommend for coffee but not for food. Edit: After the owner replying asking more detail, I would state that I had the breakfast burrito and my partner the vegan breakfast burrito along with 2 cold brew coffees. I didn't order online but the purchase was made in store and with a credit card under my name, it should be there in the system. The burritos mostly tasted like salsa and they were also very leaky. I had some of my burrito left and put it in its wrapper and back in the original paper bag and it leaked through both layers and onto the seat of my rental car (which I had to report). It just had a lot of juice coming from it and again mostly tasted like salsa. Hope this helps, I don't want any kind of refund or anything just my honest feedback. Have a great day!
Disappointed by this cafe. My daughter and I went there for lunch on a Friday afternoon and were excited about the menu of sandwiches, especially the hot chicken with spicy aïoli. Because we had our dog with us, we sat outside in the sun on a beautiful day. The traffic on San Pablo was very loud and we sat there for 25 minutes waiting for our two sandwiches. Although the place was not full, it appeared that they did not have proper staffing because many of diners had order tents on the table waiting for their food to arrive. We were starving. and were so happy that our sandwiches finally arrived. Although the baguette was crusty and the spicy aïoli tasty, the inside of the sandwich was made up of iceberg, lettuce, and sad, tomatoes, and onions-it essentially looked like a Safeway sandwich. On top of that, the side was ruffles potato chips which was lazy and cheap. Btw, you can substitute the chips for a salad for $3 extra - really? Sadly I won’t be returning.
I really want to like this place. It’s very cute inside, nice tables outside, and there’s really nothing else comparable nearby. But I don’t. I visited for the third time since it opened today. My coffee was room temperature. The broccoli soup was also room temperature and underseasoned. The hummus was extremely salty. Table service men setting down the plates on the table but not asking who had what or where they should go. You’re supposed to bus your own table, which means the tables are not always clean. Ours had crumbs on it and there were crumbs on the chairs as well. It’s popular but I have to assume that is mostly because there is nothing comparable nearby.

Huge Meh! We were disappointed by an establishment near by and wanted to take shelter at a place that had vegan options. The menu was confusing because there would be a vegan/veg symbol but had meat on it? Like what? The ban mi had the wrong type of bread. Avocado toast, more like avocado basic bread. The breakfast burrito average. The tot dish, greasy and mediocre. Our coffee drinks were meh. Staff was friendly. They only had one bathroom for customers and someone was taking a long poo. He didn't even buy anything from the place so just a free loader bathroom user. Overall, meh. Will not be going back.
A waste of $20. Listen, I get it, it’s a Sunday afternoon so you guys are busy. But despite this food not being worth the price, the order was wrong and took forever to get. I placed a to-go order and it didn’t come out for 25 or so minutes, and that was after I inquired about it because it was taking quite long. Honestly my first thought was to go to a chain shop but I see this cafe all the time and wanted to patronize a small business. Then I asked fr Swiss cheese but instead got cheddar. I tried to power through the first one but I ended up throwing out the second one. The eggs weren’t also made the same (one fried the other scrambled, I asked both scrambled with Swiss). Only reason why I didn’t give one star is because the temperature of the food was good. But otherwise I’m going to go with my gut and skip on this place

Had an incredibly bad smoothie here, probably the worst of my life. It was the kale crunch (kale, banana, with almond butter) and it was both gritty and so bitter! All I could taste was almond butter with the strong astringent aftertaste of unripe banana. I also watched the person making the smoothie finish an almond milk container and not bother to open a new one, so the cup was not quite as filled as I think it was supposed to be. Not that I wanted more of the smoothie, I couldn't even finish it as is. I didn't think it was possible to mess up a smoothie!

Food was really good. Really good coffee. I had a great pancake and breakfast bagel with my partner. Where they lacked was their service. I was done with my coffee by the time the food arrived and my partner’s smoothie didn’t come out until after we finished our meal. The attitude of the staff was very indifferent and it seemed like they wanted to clock out. The food is great but not good enough to make up for the rude service.

Picking up for Uber eats at Paradise Park Cafe and I just had a very uncomfortable experience 😔 I enter the cafe I showed the cashier or whom I believe the cashier was because he was standing in front of the cash register and I saw him hand a order to a customer I gave them the normal spill hey I have a pickup for Uber customer gave the name and let him look at my phone so he could see the order I noticed the lady that was working with him seem to be very interested in the order I had no problem with showing her the phone but she didn't ask the gentleman told me it'll be about a 5-minute wait I had no problem with that stood outside when 5 minutes was up I came back inside the young lady brought me the order but the energy didn't seem pleasant she asked me for the order name I gave her the name on the order but then she asked me for an item list how many items did the customer order which I never paid attention to I expressed it was two items but her energy wasn't as friendly and pleasant as the gentleman that I was dealing with maybe it was my look I don't know what it is but I didn't mean to offend her but it sure did bumm my day out energy means a lot when you're working with the public.
