Back again and they didn’t disappoint! This was my first review: I can't say enough about this restaurant. The service was fantastic and the fresh sushi melted in your mouth. When you go definitely start with the amazing edamame and Crispy Rice App. We will definitely be back!

Me and my lady do our Friday sushi date at a local spot we love in Long Beach. The wait was too long this week and we were hungry and I had heard great things about Yori so I used this as the opportunity to try it out. MAN, this sushi is damn good! I’ve had sushi at plenty of different places in my lifetime and I gotta say this is up there with the best I’ve had. I will def be coming here moving forward!

Yori is easily one of the best sushi spots I've ever been to. Having lived in NYC for almost 10 years, I've tried many sushi restaurants, and I can confidently say that Yori surpasses many of those overpriced spots in the city. Everyone who works at Yori is super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about sushi. They make excellent recommendations and are always eager to ensure you have the best dining experience possible. If you're a sushi lover or just someone who appreciates great food and service, Yori is a must-visit. It's a hidden gem that offers fantastic sushi at reasonable prices, with a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

The food is very fresh and well cooked by the chefs and I love their food!! This is my favorite restaurant, I recommend it very much! :)

This place is the best. The owner and staff bring top notch quality to Long Island. I go here whenever I can and always suggest it to people. I still haven't found anywhere in Long Island that's this good.

Ordering through Grub Hub is not worth the money. Truffle honey salmon is good. But food is way over- priced. Shrimp in the udon soup was rubbery, couldn't finish it.

Ordered sushi to go. When I got home all 3 of my rolls are just a little bit of fish covered in mayo. I ordered 1 spicy tuna 1 spicy salmon and 1 spicy yellowtail. By far the worst sushi I ever had. $26 for terrible food.

Last time - won’t try again . Yori is a horrible restaurant - all together. Despite multiple bad attempts over three years, we tried again, and I must tell you -my experience with this sushi restaurant was regrettably unsatisfactory as last few times. The food, arriving late and cold,poorest quality. The service was subpar (worst I have had) and the delivery person failed to ring the bell, leaving the bag unattended at the door for 15 minutes until we finally noticed. It's disappointing to have to recommend others to steer clear of this establishment, as my long-term patronage concluded on an exceptionally disheartening note. Stay away. I will.

Horrible customer service. We did a pick up order and asked for a roll to be made with soy paper. We pick it up bring home and it was not made with soy paper . I called and was asked to send a picture because I was told the chef was 100% certain it was made with soy paper. I sent 2 pictures and was told they will remake it. Call them back within minutes of hanging up and said forget it just credit me credit card. A few days later my daughter called to place a order and was told Sorry we can not serve you. ARE THEY KIDDING ME! All because we decided we did not want them to remake the roll. Awful awful awful

The rolls are now mostly filler with very little fish, and the sashimi is paper-thin and lacks freshness. Really disappointing overall.

My experience with this restaurant has been very frustrating. On multiple occasions, when I arrive to pick up an order, I’m made to wait an excessive amount of time. This time, upon arrival, I was told to wait 15 minutes, and then another 10 minutes after that. In total, I ended up waiting almost half an hour, and this has happened repeatedly. The constant delays really impact the overall experience. They should ensure that the preparation time for online orders is as efficient as the service provided to customers dining in. It’s important that both in-store and online orders are handled with the same level of efficiency.”

Save yourself the trouble and read: First time I came here, ordered, watched everyone around us get their food. Waited about 1 hour and 15 minutes and decided to walk out and get Masago which is right off Long Beach road. This is the second time coming here and the same thing is happening. The service here is BEYOND terrible, the food looks mediocre but I can’t say for myself because I’ve never actually had the chance to eat it, the only good part about this place is the 1980s rock music. I would definitely not recommend this place unless you’re looking to spend your entire evening in the establishment waiting for your order. Not to mention, I had to get up and find my own utensils BOTH TIMES I came here. Embarrassing..Thank god Villa Formia is right next door!

Perhaps they picked up on her frustration at being gas lit into thinking the sushi was rolled in soy paper bc their chef was “100% sure” and they refused to accept this until she had to send photos to prove the chef in fact was not correct. When they finally agreed to remake it after 20 minutes of arguing, it was decided a refund was the better option. She called them right back to tell them.
