Highly recomend this Mexican restaurant in Ocoee. They opened about 5 months ago but they are having their Grand Opening celebration next week September 5, 2024. They are going to have a Mariachi and a DJ and Live music, free Margaritas. I really enjoyed the Mixed fajitas! They are delicious! 1113 S. Clarke Rd.,Ocoee
My first time, and I loved it! I ordered a sampler, wanted to try as much as I can! 😁 I liked the food, the service and the mariachis!!! 😍 I’ll be back soon!
One of the best Mexican restaurants in Central Florida! They have authentic dishes and drinks are fantastic prices! We regularly eat here and are always satisfied! The food and drinks are delicious and more often than not, the service is great!
We have heard all the rave about La Hacienda so we decided to try it for ourselves. We started with the salsa (regular and hot) and Queso with chorizo, it was fresh and very tasty. Around the table we had the chile relleno (excellent), steak burrito, chicken fajitas, steak and peppers and tacos. The food was delicious and fresh and the service was amazing. All of the servers did amazing. We added a house margarita and a skinny margarita that were both perfect. Next time I will be diving in to the 50oz margarita with 2 coronas. This is a newer location in Ocoee, and the decor and atmosphere topped with the mariachi bad just topped the night off. What a great dinner and time.
Much better than a “typical” Mexican place. Great flavors. Well prepared dishes. They were out of one dish we wanted, but the waiter recommended a substitute and it was great.
Great food, atmospher, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. Love the chips and salsa and house margaritas. I've been coming here regularly for nearly a year and haven't been disappointed once.
We went at a non-peak time so that my Mom, that wears hearing aids, did not get overpowered. Had good amount of food for the value, great flavor, fun celebration with family. Out of all of the mexican restaurants I have sampled this has got to be one of the best. Try the horchata. They also serve drinks but I am always the driver so have never tried any. They have an inviting bar area. One last wish is that they would be organic as well, maybe someday.
La Hacienda is awesome - an amazing new addition to Ocoee and overall a very solid Mexican restaurant! We have been to both the Winter Park and Ocoee locations now, and we personally think the Ocoee location is better. We got chips and queso, a horchata, “bistec tampiqueña” and a steak torta for dinner - it all was super good and the two entrees were exceptional! We highly recommend both of them. They import their bread from Mexico so their tortas are as fresh as you can get! The salsa that comes to your table when you first sit down is excellent and the queso is great as well. We can’t wait to try more. We also had a fantastic waitress who was super friendly, upbeat, and made our experience so much better! We really like this place and will definitely be coming back many more times. Check it out!!
Cute Mexican restaurant with delicious authentic Mexican food. Great staff full of smiles and very attentive. The ambiance on Cinco de Mayo was great. It was packed but so much fun with the music, free shots, and yummy food and drinks! Highly recommend the quesabirria tacos and the strawberry margarita. It's a great place to come hang out with friends and its family/kid friendly too!
I absolutely loved this place! We only left 5 minutes ago and I had to write a review immediately. The meats were seasoned and cooked perfectly. All the food was delicious. The drinks were perfectly balanced. And the customer service was on point. Thank you to the team there!
Absolutely the best Mexican food in our area! This is our third time and each time is as good as the last. We used to frequent another place right down the road until we found La Hacienda. The chicken fajitas were juicy and not dried out. The chicken fajita quesadillas were delicious as well. Great margaritas too (thanks to Carlos)!
Excellent new well maintained and well ran Mexican restaurant! The staff was plentiful, amazing, happy, friendly and helpful…our waitress was excellent. Clean inviting atmosphere in the restaurant (it is much bigger inside than how it looks on the outside). I ordered the combo platter with enchiladas and a taco, extras like pico and guac came with it, great value for the money. The sweet tea, the food, the sauces (green sauce was yummy) were all spot on and fabulous. It was not greasy and loaded with cheese like the other places I use to go to. It’s my new go to place down the road. LOVE this place :)
This place is off the chains! I mean it’s fire 🔥!!…it’s off the beaten path…once you find it …your gonna want to keep coming back!!!…the food is soooo delicious 😋😋😋…authentic Mexican dishes…for the appetizer we had the sampler (we highly recommend) …the prices are great for the portions….we have already come back twice and let me tell you we live in winter haven and we will drive the 1 hr just to have there delicious Mexican cuisine…there very attentive…and this time when we were there 2 groups had birthdays 🎂 and its was cute 🥰 what they did! Give it a try …you won’t regret 👍🏼😊✌🏼🖤
We loved our dinner at La Hacienda, the atmosphere, the delicious food, amazing drinks. They are family owned and oh so good. We had the steak enchiladas and arrachiera which was amazing! Definitely a hidden gem, would recommend to everyone!
La Hacienda has quickly become one of our favorite spots—we go at least once a week and it never disappoints! The margaritas are hands down the best around, perfectly balanced and always fresh. The food is just as amazing: the pollo a la plancha is juicy and flavorful, the burrito is packed and satisfying, and the carne asada is cooked to perfection every time. We also love the queso fundido and nachos for starters, and their tacos birria with the rich dipping salsa are absolutely unbeatable. Every dish tastes homemade and full of flavor, and the staff always makes us feel welcome. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious Mexican food with great drinks and a friendly atmosphere, La Hacienda is it!
The Mexican food was amazing! The atmosphere was nice and the service was really good. Overall, I had a great time.
Best truly authentic Mexican food we have had in years! Michael Ellington loved the house margarita. Service was excellent, and all the staff were friendly and accommodating. Definitely give it a try if you are in Ocoee or other parts of Orlando.
It was our first time, and it was an amazing experience. Shout out to our wonderful waitress Sindy, who kept us comfortable and with all the right food. We will definitely be back.
We had fajitas for 2 and there was enough for 3. Fajitas were cooked to perfection. The flour tortillas, YUM. Chips and salsa were never ending and delicious. Absolutely will return!
Super experience, great flavor and service... Cindy was great, thank you so much. Great location for Tesla owners too!
Our favorite restaurant! The food has such high quality and is delicious every time. Dulce is the sweetest server and she puts love into what she does. The atmosphere is great and everyone is so helpful.
Tasty food. Nicest staff. Strong drinks. I loved everything about this place. New spot opened 3 months now. The Chile Rellano was the perfect blend of smoky pepper, melted cheese and a smooth delightful red sauce. I do not like red sauce..but this recipe totally changes that sentiment. I ordered a light on alcohol Paloma and it was so refreshing. Got the grilled corn appetizer..ate that along with the free chips and delicious salsa. The servers are always checking in and the food came out incredibly fast. The decor is cozy and the atmosphere festive. I heard there is a mariachi band on some nights. I really enjoyed my experience. The food is beyond fresh and was seasoned perfect. Can't wait to go back and try everything. Another Ocoee gem.
One of the best, food is very good. the workers are extremely attentive and friendly . The chips and salsa are amazing the salsa is perfect (and free which is a plusssss) great environment.
Best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever visited, very welcoming, food is very delicious, portions are very good and prices are very reasonable. I went there a couple of times and everytime I order something different from the menu and the restaurant never failed me.

The Mexican food was amazing! The atmosphere was nice and the service was really good. Overall, I had a great time.
This place did not disappoint. My bistec à la mexicana was so juicy, spicy, and delicious. Their chip salsa had such good flavor, even their chips were slated to perfection. It really hard to find a good authentic Mexican restaurant, but everything about this place was so enjoyable. Oh! And did I mention the prices are pretty low!
The atmosphere was very relaxed, very cozy, kind of felt a little bit of a high-end but not as at the same time kind of like relax. It was slow and empty. Food was amazing and we ended up taking home 2 plates it was a bit pricey but good amount of food. Two pina coladas, one chimichanga, and one order of enchiladas, with an appetizer. It was about 40 to 60. The waitress was pregnant and so I wanted to give her at least $20 since my fiance was also pregnant.
This is a hidden gem 💎 in Ocoee I have 3 Mexican options closer to my house yet I choose to bypass them all because this place has better flavor, reasonable portions and fair prices! I usually get the chimichanga! It is smothered in Queso and includes rice and beans. So good! I’ve also tasted their sopes, and gorditas which are amazing! The sizzling fajitas seem to be remarkable since every time I’ve visited someone near us orders it and they make quite the entrance while being served as they sizzle and look so tasty! My wife ordered a meat plate that had so much food she had it for lunch the next day. On a different occasion I invited mom to lunch and she loved her burrito and had leftovers for dinner that night! If you have a Tesla you can put it to charge within walking distance and just grab a bite or drink while it charges. I’ve never had to wait to be seated. Service is the fastest in town too! I never wait that long (15 min max) anytime I’ve gone, so much so that we don’t finish our chips and salsa before the entree is served. This is a must try!
There are some great places to eat Mexican food in Ocoee and LA Hacienda is at the top. Portions are large for a reasonable price. Margaritas are delicious. They even have a two for one happy hour. Lunch specials are reasonable too! Recommend!

Had some trouble getting our drinks refilled, but everything else was fine. I have ate there a couple of times in late 2025. Every time the service has been on point., and the food good.
Very awesome restuarant. Food was flavorful! Staff was kind..Definitely would go back.
La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant offers tasty Mexican dishes in a pleasant atmosphere. The food is flavorful and fresh, and there’s a good variety on the menu. The service can be hit-or-miss at times, but overall, it doesn’t detract too much from the experience. A solid choice for anyone craving a satisfying Mexican meal.
Went here for lunch, was busy but staff was attentive and friendly. We were seated right away, wait staff was a little busy and took a few to order apps and drinks. The appetizer took a long time to come, ordered the sampler which was delicious except the chips and toppings were cold. I ordered the enchiladas which were yummy. My partner ordered carnitas gordita, the carnitas was pretty dry and kinda blah on taste. The portions are great except for the kids menu. If you have anyone over 6 order them a regular meal.
La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant – Where Flavor Meets Fiesta Vibes! 🌮 So, picture this: I’m in Orlando, soaking up the vacation vibes, and I decide to meet up with friends for dinner. Now, ever since I moved to Florida from LA, I’ve been on the hunt for an authentic Mexican spot. Not “inspired” Mexican… I want the real deal! My friends know my struggle and suggested we try La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant in Ocoee. Their pitch: “No AC, but we were the only non-Latinos there, and everyone was having the best time sweating it out!” If you know anything about good food, it’s that the best spots are often the hidden gems. So, I was intrigued—nervous about the no AC, but intrigued. When we pulled up, the parking lot was pretty empty, and I spotted a bunch of Tesla chargers (bummer I wasn’t in the Tesla that night, ha!). Our friends arrived, and surprise, surprise—there was AC! Crisis averted, LOL. It wasn’t super busy, but hey, it was a Monday at 8:30 PM, and they close at 9. Oh, and let’s not forget Hurricane Milton just passed through, so I’m guessing that kept folks at home. First Impressions: The vibe? Pure Jalisco! From the décor to the music, I felt like I was back in my mom’s hometown. The tunes had me this close to busting out a little quebradita right there. 😂 And honestly, I do believe this place serves authentic Mexican food. You can feel the heart and soul in the flavors, not just “inspired” by Mexico, but truly transporting you there. Now, let’s talk food! I went in full-on sampler mode because I wanted to try everything. Here’s what I ordered: 2 Tacos de Lengua 1 Enchilada de Pollo with Salsa Verde 1 Quesabirria 6 Camarones a la Diabla 1 Tostada de Ceviche 1 Sope de Pollo 1 Flauta de Res and 1 Flauta de Pollo The Highlights: The Tacos de Lengua were absolutely delicious. Tender, flavorful, and they did NOT skimp on the meat. I could’ve eaten six more of these, easily. The Enchilada Verde was killer! The salsa had a perfect kick. Spicy lovers, this one’s for you! The Quesabirria was super tasty, though the consomé needed a little more salt for my liking. Maybe I’m just too salty for my own good. 😉 The Tostada de Ceviche was fresh and light. A little lime and salt, and I devoured it. The Not-So-Hot: The Camarones a la Diabla were definitely spicy, yes. Flavorful, not so much. It felt like they just relied on the heat and forgot about the flavor. The Sope de Pollo had potential, but the chicken was dry. Fix that, and it’s a winner! Same story with the Flautas—just too dry for my taste. Drinks & More: My friends and partner went all out on the drinks. The Cantarito? A 10/10. The Watermelon Frozen Margarita? Huge hit! The House Margarita? Eh, a 4/10. But the Paloma stole the show, earning an 11/10 (yes, seriously). For food, the Shrimp Fajitas and Chimichanga got solid reviews, though my partner’s real love was the frozen margarita—because, according to him, “If it’s frozen, I’ll like it.” 😂 Final Verdict: Would I go back? Absolutely! The prices were great, and I’ll definitely be dreaming about those Tacos de Lengua and Enchiladas Verdes. Shoutout to our server, Cindy, who was a total champ and didn’t judge me for ordering one of everything. This spot just opened in April 2024, so they might still be ironing out the kinks. But trust me, it’s worth a visit—especially if you’re charging your Tesla! Just don’t forget to try a Cantarito or two (responsibly, of course). 😉
Our recent visit to La Hacienda left us with mixed feelings about the overall dining experience. Let's start with the positives. The appetizers set a promising tone for the meal. The queso with Chorizo was undeniably delicious, offering a tantalizing blend of flavors that left me craving more—likewise, the Coktel De Camaron was very flavorful. However, the true standout of the evening was the Quesabirria. This dish was nothing short of excellent, delivering on both taste and presentation. Its flavorful combination of ingredients left a lasting impression, making it a must-try for anyone visiting La Hacienda. Unfortunately, the same level of satisfaction didn't extend to the beverage selection. My disappointment stemmed from the house margarita, which fell short of expectations. The quality of tequila used left much to be desired, resulting in what I can only describe as one of the worst margaritas I've ever had. Hoping for an improvement, I opted for a premium margarita with Patron, fully expecting the upcharge. However, the $5.00 increase in price, coupled with a much smaller serving size, felt disproportionate and left me questioning the value. *see photos The regular short glass (premium) Margarita glass (house) Moreover, the chips served alongside our meal were a letdown. Not only were they cold, but some were also disappointingly soggy. On a brighter note, our server, Jaileen, provided exemplary service throughout the evening, enhancing our overall experience with her attentiveness and friendliness. In conclusion, while La Hacienda offers standout dishes like the Quesabirria and boasts excellent service from staff like Jaileen, there are areas that need improvement, particularly in the beverage and chip departments. Despite these shortcomings, I would still encourage others to give La Hacienda a try. Pros: Delicious appetizers, particularly the queso with Chorizo and Coktel De Camarone. The Quesabirria stands out as an exceptional dish. Excellent service from our server, Jailenn. Cons: Disappointing drinks, particularly the house margarita. Chips were served cold and some were soggy. The premium margarita felt overpriced for the serving size.

The food was plentiful and delicious. The staff was very knowledgeable, polite, and professional. However, I ordered one (Single) shot of Clase Azul Tequila and was charged $30. I get the same shot at several other places for less than $15. I will return, but only for the food.
La Hacienda is a fantastic spot if you’re craving authentic Mexican food with a lively atmosphere. The flavors are rich and true to tradition, and their lunch specials are such a great deal—delicious food at great prices! In the evenings, the live music really brings the place to life and makes it feel festive and fun. Overall, a great place to relax, enjoy good food, and soak up the vibrant energy. Definitely worth a visit!

We recently visited La Hacienda and, unfortunately, left disappointed and unimpressed. While the food was passable, the overall experience left much to be desired. One major issue was their lack of understanding around service animals. Upon arrival around 6:30 pm with my service dog, the hostesses seemed unsure how to handle our situation. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant, in an area clearly set up for a large party that hadn’t yet arrived, and directly in front of the mariachi band who was going to play but had yet to also arrive. As it was our first time visiting, we didn’t realize this would be an area with heavy foot traffic and noise, which isn’t ideal for a service animal. Our waitress didn’t help matters either; when we asked what tacos were available, she simply said, “everything.” As first-time visitors, that wasn’t particularly helpful. We had to press for specifics, and even then, we were left a bit lost. About 35 minutes into our meal, the large party began to arrive, and guests walked closely around and over my service dog, almost stepping on him multiple times. While my dog is trained and non-reactive, the lack of consideration and awareness from the other patrons and staff was disappointing. Overall, La Hacienda has potential but could greatly benefit from staff training on accommodating service animals and improving the guest experience, particularly for first-time visitors.
Came here with a few of my friends, when I first walked it, everything looked great! The atmosphere felt authentic, they were actually playing Banda and Classic Mexican songs. The place was not too busy so we were able to be seated right away. After sitting and ordering some drinks, I have to admit, the waitress did not seem to be in the happiest mood. It’s okay everyone has their days. From there we ordered some appetizers and entrees. The food definitely took a bit longer than we would’ve liked but we were patient in hopes of finding a true authentic Mexican spot which is hard to come by here in Florida. While the display of everything looked amazing, unfortunately the taste did not live up to its presentation. While it did taste authentic, nothing really was stood out and it rather bland. I would say everything was fairly priced and for that reason I would certainly give another try.
This place is very nice, very clean and presentable. Atmosphere was nice and the waitresses and staff were very accommodating. As for the food, portions where decent and looked good. Real homemade corn tortillas were a plus. On the other hand I found that food was on the milder blander side of my taste buds. Didn't like the beans flavor or texture, rice was a little undercooked but edible, didn't like the nachos chips and salsa. Steak fajitas were good. Perhaps a new cook?Anyhow, I may give it a second try sometime...

I have been to this restaurant a few times during the week and loved it! Today was Sunday and I decided to go for some of the best nachos I have ever had. I know most places are busy on the weekend but the time it took to get appetizer and then food order taken was absolutely longer than expected. I don't know if they were under staffed, not enough cooks, too many customers or a combination. 🤷🏻♀️ I will definitely never be back. 😐
