I never have problems with getting food from this establishment until today. I went thru drive thru ordered a 8 piece roasted chicken. When I got home I opened the box to find fried chicken. I called the establishment to complain & the lady I spoke to told me "well what do you want to do", "you have to bring back the chicken for me to fix your order", I told her I wasnt about to drive 20 min again for their mistake & she told me she needed the chicken back or she couldn't do anything. If this is the type of people yall have working there I will never order from yall again.

Generally no prob with golden chicks..here today made order online arrive says they can't make my order there's no more ive already paid..they try telling me to cancel i said there's no where to cancel didnt even know what the golden chick app looked like...and couldn't refund me in cash saying I'd have to come in AM I dnt even live in odessa..ask for bottle of seasoning they didnt have that either..settled on the wings they had and tenders..I ordered spicy and ask for spicy when I open the box after I left ((some old fries thrown in why idk))...NONE WERE SPICY! All I wanted was wat I asked for and paid for!

I asked for 20pc half spicy and half regular. How theyve done it before was put the spicy on the bottom and regular on top woth a divider. These guys didnt even do that they just gave me zing packs and divided the chicken into pieces of 10. LAZY. Rolls were stale and hard. DO BETTER.

Ok so tell me why I order my food then I get told I was charged for the previous customer and then get told I would be refunded then I get told to pull around to wait for my food when the young lady comes with my food I check it and I get 2 thighs and a leg when I specifically ordered a chicken breast, leg and thigh 🤨.... Then she said they don't have any chicken breasts and that they go fast .... Like ok but I paid for it? So can I get a chicken breast I still want what I ordered. So she tells me it's gonna be about a 20 min wait, I said ok that's fine I still want it. She goes back inside and comes out not even a min later with a chicken breast 🤦🏽‍♀️😑

One star is too many. I drive up on Sunday 6-15-25 at 9:30 lights were on as I sat in the drive thru screaming hello no answer I drive up to the window and honk and seen a slim black girl turn and look at me and she walked off so I drove to the first window where she was standing talking to another black girl with medium weight with curly big hair. I honk she turns to look at me and turns off all the light pretending to be closed when it was still 30 minutes to closing. This is very unprofessional and rude attitude to ignore a customer to the extend that you have to turn lights off and go hide in the back

Food quality has really gone downhill. I ordered a 6 piece chicken strip meal. I was told they were out of zing sauce. I guess lack or preparation causes that issue. When the food arrived, the roll was burnt on the top. The taste of the chicken itself has changed not for the better either. I used to enjoy the tea. However, this time, it was so watered down that it had no tea taste at all. While the server was preparing our food, I also noticed she was not wearing gloves. I really used to enjoy eating here. It is my understanding that this location was bought by another company or owner sometime ago. This is when I started noticing changes and not for the better, and its really sad. Please, golden chick management do not replay with " it appears we missed the mark" and give me some link to report more issues. You know what the issues are. Make the change and stop looking at the cash register.

I've never written a negative review but I cannot stress to y'all enough not to order this place through a delivery app. It's clear to me this location makes deliveries their lowest priorities. Some restaurants just do. I haven't had many issus going in or going through the drive thru, but ordering from here off a delivery app has been the worst experince with any restaurant I've ever ordered from. You'll just be wasting money. I have, numerous times now. You won't get over half your food, and the food you do get will be the oldest, rubberiest food you'll ever recieve. I cannot recommend less. If you actually want to get what you pay for, choose anywhere else.

The roast chicken was horrible, so salty, for the chicken to be super expensive it’s very disappointing, this went right in the trash. I wouldn’t feed this to a stray dog.

Im not one to complain but this is ridiculous. They added an enormous amount of pickles bigger than the chicken itself and it was also so messy the sauce was even outside of the to go box. There was also a black, wavy/curly, short piece of hair in my food. I also asked for no ice and they gave me ice.

I’m not one to complain, but here we go. I ordered 4pc strip meal with mashed potatoes and a extra side of macaroni. What I got were cold strips, half a cup of mashed potatoes (I don’t even know if someone was eating out of it and it got placed in my bag) and NO MACARONI. They were not even busy there was only one other person ahead of me and it was about 7:15 not even close to their closing hour. Please do better.

Went to order from here, and as I was eating I seen a HAIR in my chicken strip, went back to the restaurant NOT A SINGLE EMPLOYEE HAD HAIR NETS ON. Not one. Half of them didn’t have GLOVES ON. I asked for a refund and it’s been 11 days and still waiting. The manager was rude and was yelling at er employees, the employees are rude, and yell back at the manager, and they have arguments in front of customers and children. DO NOT GO HERE DONOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! ( Pictures below.) YOU CAN SEE THE HAIR BAKED INTO THE CHICKEN.
