Pulled up with the boys- my Fiance & his bro. T-flats didn’t stand a chance against us. Honestly, this lunch had me wanting Mexican cuisine for the foreseeable future. Peep the after-photo for pure destruction. Hot sauce bar was great, place was clean. Love the nugget ice. Been eating here since it opened! Can grab a nice cold beer with it if your feelin it. Buffalo chicken burrito was nuts- also love my quesadillas with all toppings on the side (so it doesn’t get soggy.) Don’t sleep on solid meal at a casual fun place! Also carries Powerade in fountain which is nice to hydrate up lol! Enjoy 🌮 💃

The food was also excellent and fresh, and everyone from age 8 to 45 really enjoyed their meal. Highly recommend!

The level of customization is unmatched, and being able to mix and match heat levels and flavors makes every visit feel a little different. The food is always great, the staff is SO attentive and kind. It always feels like a safe bet that we'll enjoy what we eat. This last time, we sat outside and the staff read our mind about needing boxes and went in and fetched them for us! Perfect 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Food is kind of bland with no real Mexican seasoning on protein. Service was awesome and dining area was clean nicely decorated. Overall a good quick stop for some tex mex and some good tortilla chips with various dips.

2nd timer. Had the lunch burrito special with chips and beverage for just $7.99. 14 sauces to choose from. This is only fast food, but boy is it good!

1st timer. Don't get me wrong, this is not gourmet food, nor do they claim that it is. I ordered the burrito special with chips and soft drink. Apparently they are known for their hot sauces. Boy, let me tell you that there are some fabulous sauces. I'm usually a take your face off hot sauce guy, but some delicious fruit infused hot sauces are waiting for you. Free soft drink refills. Trash and clean up taken care off by staff. I'll definitely be a return customer.

The food was good, had the Mexican pizza. Unfortunately I felt that the girl that took our order was a bit rude.I felt like I was bothering her. There was only 1 person eating in the whole restaurant. This was my first time getting food from the Tijuana flats in Oldsmar.

This burrito joint was very interesting inside. Lots of colorful decor with a very urban feel. The size of the burrito was very generous but I thought it was filled with too much lime rice and not enough protein. I enjoyed the hot sauce bar because it allowed me to try different spice levels and flavors. Overall, it a pretty good lunch spot.

My beef nachos only had two tablespoons of beef, otherwise great nachos, update: went to a different Tijuana flats and had a lot of meat on my nachos which tells me Oldsmar making a good profit. Manager is unhappy. Never friendly. Bummer because it’s a nice location.

We haven’t been here in awhile, and Husband wanted tacos and I wanted flautas. The young lady who took our order was very pleasant, and she had our order out quickly. I enjoyed my flautas, but Husband was not happy with his 2 tacos. He called them anemic - not much meat. He gets his tacos at Taco Bell, and said they have much more meat and flavor for less money. I was happy with my flautas. They were delicious and worth the money. Husband said mine looked meatier and more plentiful for the same amount of money. He was right. After eating one of mine, he said it was a lot better than his meal. This is our third time at this location together. I don’t know what we ordered before, but we both were satisfied with our meals. That’s why we returned. When I return, it will be with friends or by myself. I doubt Husband will come with me.

This is an update! had the Shrimp Bowl the other day and it just wasn’t really working for me, the bowl was full of rice and beans when I actually asked for less rice and less beans! And the Queso Cheese was really cold, just Disappointed this time around! That was almost $20 for a rice bowl and a cup of water. I guess different staff than the past. However I still like the Clearwater Location on Gulf to Bay Boulevard 😊 This was from the past Experience. Excellent job! The food is always great. The New Restaurant Manager name is Dan. He went out of his way to find my Favorite Hot Sauce Called George Peach. I Really appreciate that. He also gave me some other Samples of other Hot Sauces to take home and try. He is Awesome. Another disappointment. Went to dinner with my family. The waitress was nice. When we received our food the chicken and blk bean nachos we ordered were cold. The shredded cheese was cold and unmelted. When I spoke to the manager about this he told me they no longer melt the cheese. Imagine my confusion as I thought nachos meant the cheese was melted onto the chips. I have ordered these before as this is the only thing I prefer on the menu and they used to be the best nachos in town. When I told him this he said they no longer use the melter. He offered to give me something else but as I said I don’t prefer anything else on their menu. Left disappointed and now I have to find somewhere else with good nachos. I will also add my husband has been ordering the steak burrito for years and he also said the burrito hasn’t been right for the past year and he is done with trying anymore.

First, let me note that Tijuana Flats was at one time, one of my favorite places to eat. I have tried a lot of different items on their menu, and, weekly, we would eagerly await Taco Tuesday. We would sometimes eat at one location or another twice a week. About two years ago I started noticing that this location in Oldsmar started going down hill with quality and amount of food in the box, so after quite a few messed up take out orders, price raises, and substantially less food in the boxes (everything from taco filling to chips), we decided to take a break from Flats. After about a year, I decided to give it another try today. Much to my disappointment, my tacos were literally half stuffed and the taste was just ok. The salsa did not taste the same, and I found out they discontinued their incredible wheat tortilla shells. I am definitely disappointed because I was hoping they may have gotten the message from other customers and improved their food back to what it used to be. I may try the location down on East Bay, because I know their food used to be the best of all of the locations. However, I am not optimistic this is a location specific issue. Until then, I will most likely enjoy Juan's or even Taco Bell if I need a Taco fix.

This place has unfortunately become very disappointing. We arrived at 8:20pm (they close at 10) and ordered the 2 for Tuesday taco special with ground beef. You would think the food would be at least warm but our taco meat was as cold as the condiments on them. We would have done better to take our food to go and nuke the tacos at home. With quality like this, it's not surprising they keep closing locations.

If your looking for authentic Mexican food Don't go here. My wife ordered the veggie burrito and the taste was bland no taste. I ordered the cheese enchiladas and they put a tomato sauce in the enchilada and it tasted bad. It tasted like they opened a can of tomato sauce and poured it in. The Mexican rice was dull in taste. Bad experience. Although the staff was very nice and courteous. They even open the door for the customers leaving. Very friendly people. It's just the food is lacking. My wife felt bad because she picked the place. I told her not to worry. Not her fault. Still looking for a good Mexican restaurant. As soon as I find one I will post immediately. I'm on a mission and I will find it. Keep your fingers crossed.

Today: They have officially lost us as customers. After waiting 45 min for takeout only to find out that they screwed up our order AGAIN, we give up. We've given too many second chances. They just don't care about accuracy or customer service. Go elsewhere. 3 months ago: Highly recommend. It is always clean and the staff is always super friendly and prompt. Oh and the food is always delicious! Come hungry!

The 70 dollar take out meal will now turn into well over a hundred after I get the car cleaned. Incompetence when putting lids on full drinks and having it leak so bad through the carrier had to throw it out, while leaking all over the seat, cup holders, carpet. Drinks kept on leaking throughout the trip home. A complete disaster for 70 bucks. Last time I will be at this location.

Wouldn't recommend ordering delivery from here. Tacos were missing toppings and were cold and half the size they are supposed to be. Taco literally had maybe one tablespoon worth of meat in it.

When I arrived, it was completely empty. I should have taken that as a sign... Upon ordering, I had been wondering why they were listing salsa as a "side dish" on the menu. I should have asked. I got a taco combo meal, it included 2 dry beef tacos, a drink, and a tray of stale, tasteless tortilla chips with NO SALSA. They want to charge extra for salsa, and I'm sorry but salsa is not a "side dish", it's a condiment. The total for me and my date was over 30 dollars, and the food was no better that Taco Bell.... Actually it was far worse, and we struggled to eat our chips and did not finish them. The atmosphere was okay, it being empty was kind of nice because my date and I could talk about personal things without others overhearing. And honestly that was the only nice thing about our visit. 🤣 I left unsatisfied, and I really don't recommend this place to anyone. Even if they'd included salsa, the food wasn't tasty or worth the price.

Sometimes the guac is browning 🫥& pico has cheese in it 🤢...besides those 2 things all else is amazing! Update: Waited 45 minutes for 2 pickups that was supposed to be ready. I have to say don't order here for pickup. People in the lobby we're also waiting for about the same time. Orders were made for people who weren't even there and had no wait time whatsoever yet others had to wait there for a really long time. There was no logic no explanation no reason and not even a refund so for one of the orders I just had to cancel and leave what a disappointment I will never return. Very sad because I loved this restaurant but I don't trust to come here ever again. 😔

I just called 2/11/25 around 7:25 pm to place an order as the website isn’t working right. Some young girls picked it up and I can hear them talking for 2 minutes about the phones and then one of them said not to answer it anymore. When the girl said that, the other one told her she answered it, but it’s on mute. So basically was just leaving me hanging!!! As soon as I said I can hear you guys, the phone just hung up! If this is how these young kids treat customers, imagine how they handle your food! So glad I called and heard that. Never going back there again!

Waited 20 minutes @8:25 for 2 orders of tacos to go. When I opened the container, I found that the tacos are now wrapped in foil. They must have come out of a refrigerator. The meat was as cold as the lettuce and had the light brown color of hamburger that has been chilled. Impossible to heat up because you can’t separate the toppings and sour cream from the meat. Whoever thought that refrigerating and serving cold tacos was a good idea needs a reality check! THEY ARE DISGUSTING!!!!!

We ordered through Uber eats on Friday nights. This week we ordered from here, and they got our order completely wrong. Contacted Uber eats and they were not helpful. Called the restaurant and they were arguing with me on the phone that the order is right. The order is completely wrong. They obviously have people working there that don't know how to read. The labels on the containers are what we ordered but that is not what was in the containers. We will never order from here again!!!!

Not clean at all. The tortilla chips are coming out of a dirtty white bucket where they are transferred to from another bag or container sitting in the middle of the kitchen walkway area ...the place is filthy...bathroom, floors, doors etc. They don’t know what ingredients are used in the chips, and we had to ask... don't eat those corn tortillas or chips if you are gluten-free!

You basically get meat, cheese and shell and a tray full of chips. So tonight after I ordered on door dash i called the store and asked for them to add extra lettuce and tomato and they said no problem, found my order as well when I called. Sure enough it was not added and when I called they sad sorry we added it to your ticket. Needless to say I was furious. Also my husband got the new shrimp tacos that was supposed to have slaw or cabbage, When I asked him if there was any on his he said no or if there was he didn’t notice.Maybe stop giving all the chips in tray and add the vegetables that are supposed to be on the dish. I wont be ordering delivery anytime soon from here. I guess I need to be there before I leave to check my order! Or just finding a new place to order our food.

Stood at the counter for almost 10 minutes without anyone greet me or take my order. A manager was sitting down eating, he got up walked behind the register to pick up an order sheet but walked away without so much as a word said to me. I could hear staff talking in the back but no one ever came to take my order. Decided to take my business elsewhere, won't be back.
