This place is a jewel in the rough. Places like this are kept in secret to avoid ruining them. The food is authentic, the service is real, and the people are amazing. I found this place on YouTube so I knew I really wanted to visit. It did not disappoint. There is something about a tortilla this big made from masa and slightly fried that gives it an amazing taste. The machete was so good and fresh. The pelliscadas were simple and flavorful, I need to go back to get one with egg. They have good salsas and free fried potatoe slices. The people are humble and very friendly. No doubt I recommend this place more than any others. Be patient and nice when you visit. I asked for a machete with Chilaquiles and it was 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 They served it with the chilaquiles and eggs and chicharron. It was amazing, the fried dough with the chilaquiles were heavenly. Just ask for the Chavelo Special 😜😜 the workers are fantastic and very accommodating and friendly.

This place is the best if you're in Orange or Orange County. Their menu has a lot of great items - I particularly love their street tacos, especially the Pastor, Chorizo, and Asada. They're named Las Salsas for a reason - their salsas are amazing, and they even have a salsa bar so you can try a variety. I don't bother with other places because this is the best!

I love this place. It is my favorite taqueria in OC, and I highly highly recommend it. A few highlights are their pastor, tortillas, and salsa bar. Their pastor is super flavorful and the tortillas are soft and were definitely not a second thought. Salsa bar. Wow. Their cremosa salsa is so good I dream about how good it is. It is the standard I believe, not too spicy, but so much flavor. They have cebolla asada (grilled onions) and papas! The potatoes are so so good I get a handful and eat them as chips dipping into the salsa. Highly recommend. We have even picked up catering from them a few years ago for a graduation party and boy they were so helpful and we had the best food for our guests. The owners and workers really know what they're doing and it truly is a hidden gem.

I always order tacos or burritos, machete’s but on 12-16-2024 i bought my first plate or carne asada o man it was delicious, the meat was so flavorful, cook the just the right way, and to my surprise not to much seasonings , but just so so delicious the rice the beans everything delicious,100% recommended!!

We had the machete and they can put up to three different meats in it (in sections) it is beautifuly toasty and the meat I liked the most from what I tried was the carne asada. The picadita was delicious I think it's something in the masa they use. The salsa bar was great they has sautéed onion and Chiles tornados and some potatoes that were delicious along with different salsas. Will come back to try the chilaquil torta. The woman who took our order was very helpful and let us try the dalsa to something we requested and did order. The costilla de cerdo en salsa verde. It was delicious!

Honestly the best around if you’re in Orange or Orange County. They have a ton of great items on the menu — I am a nut for street tacos and they have amazing tacos. Their Pastor, Chorizo, Asada are my favorites but everything is good. Also, their name, Las Salsas is for GREAT reason!! They have amazing salsas and even a salsa bar so you can try several salsas to your own discretion. I don’t even try other places around because this is the gem!!!

Ordered 4 tacos from here (2 asada 1 pastor 1 cabeza). Not bad. Asada & Pastor are $1.99/ea and Cabeza is $2.49/ea. Decent size tacos and nice selection of salsas and sides available. $13 for 4 tacos + Jarritos drink Meat was slightly dry for me and the Al Pastor needed some tang. Not bad though. Would come back to try their other options (Machete is on my radar)

Food looks really good biggest issue is they are completely disordered I got there to pick up 5 items and they sold off two of my items so I had to wait for them to make it again.

As of lately, this place is getting bad when you order through Uber eats. I don't know if they have new incompetent cooks or new incompetent management. I've ordered for years and lately is getting bad. Its very disappointing to see a good restaurant gone to the dump. Not to mention the poor food and meat quantity they give when we receive then through Uber. Avoid ordering through any app!!!
