Kyle was extremely helpful and provided wonderful customer service. Will be ordering from pizza press again soon!
Amazing pizzaria!! Milo's the best ! The entire staff is GREAT!
Charming Orange Circle for this favorite pizza spot. Always freshly made and delicious. Incredible topping options, numerous cheese choices. I even saw a manager taking the temperature of toppings in the individual serving bins to ensure freshness. Crust is excellent and not too filling. Craft beers and sodas available too.
It was insanely busy after the tree lighting and the only person holding it all together was Kyle. Thank you Kyle!
I like this place better than Blaze or other build your own places - ingredients are pretty fresh and their BYO price is actually a good value. There’s plenty of seating inside and the people who work there are actually nice people. Only thing that sucks depending on when you go, whether it’s dine in or take out is parking around the area is pretty limited.
The easiest way to describe the pizza press is like a Subway, but for pizza. They have a "create your own pizza" station that allows for unlimited toppings. I like this place because it gives you a great pizza, freedom of choice, and doesn't charge extra for additional toppings. I prefer this place to pieology and similar stores due to the decorations and "printing press" theme. The staff is nice and friendly and I always leave the pizza press happy. Will be back!
Great place, top of the line for pizza and beer, get it how you want it, you visually direct the construction step by step, lots of toppings to choose from, no excuses, the crust is delicious with a perfect crunch and each piece is easy to manage, no mush, no falling apart, no dripping mess. Compliment that with an excellent selection of craft beers and reasonable prices overall and you have a winner. Definitely a favorite spot.
Ordered the vegan Gazette online to pick up later. I arrived a few minutes early and only waited a minute and a nice girl brought me the pizza. My husband loves this pizza. It is FULL of garlic, which he loves. I could never. I make my own. I prefer Pizza Press over the other pizza chains of similar specialty. 😀👍
I absolutely love pizza press. I don't like pizza all that much but I absolutely love their pizza. I always get a "publish your own" (build your own) pizza. I usually split it with my dad or take half home for him. Their cookies are also really really good and make amazing ice cream sandwiches. I love the newspaper aesthetic they have going on and their flat cap hats for the uniform. I like watching them make the pizzas.
Great Pizza, Almost always really fast and really friendly service. This place like everything around the circle can at times get overrun with Chapman students. Being a person who usually eats very late at night I love that they are open until 1:00am every night. The prices are also really nice because they're really low.
I had an amazing experience at Pizza Press today, despite them being short-staffed. Jack was the only employee there and was clearly doing his best to keep everything running smoothly, and still managed to provide great service. The pizza was as delicious as always, and I appreciate the effort Jack put in to make sure customers were taken care of. It’s clear he cares about his customers, and I’ll definitely be back! Keep up the great work!
Amazing and clean pizzeria in an amazing ambiance with reasonable pricing. The staff was very friendly and patient with me and my girlfriend. The worker that helped me, his name was Nick, he DID NOT skimp out on the amount of toppings with my custom pizza. He put a GOOD amount of toppings that filled me with the 3rd slice. Really worth paying $2.50 to make it double dough. We couldn't even finish our pizza which I'm usually able to do at similar build-your-own pizzerias. We ate at the outside table area and the architecture of Old town Orange at night really added to the experience. Memorable and will be coming back.
I had a wonderful time here. This place has kind people, good discounts for students, and the best pizza. So good! Just so perfect! This is the best spot to have a Build your own pizza. I made my own pizza that has veggies in it. As an autistic, this place was wonderful for me and I enjoyed the pizza they have here.
Ryan was super kind, took very good care of us and made the most delicious pizzas! He was made aware that I have allergies and ensured my order was safe throughout. Oscar used a fresh cutter for the pizzas due to my allergies and got us finishing toppings. Extremely pleased with the quality and can't wait to come back!
The pizza was so so delicious, went in for a late lunch, the place had a few people there but no one in line. Plenty of veggies to pick from to make an amazing vegetarian pizza. I absolutely love that they had ricotta, sundried tomatoes and the balsamic glaze.
Pizza was great ! PYO was amazing, as always!!! But. They have a PYO Salad on there google menu but when asked for it, I was told it is not an option. Seems staff is poorly trained or informed in an item they serve. As last visit(2 months ago) i was helped with a publish your own salad. One of my favorite spot but that is concerning. EDIT! The Pizza Press reached and provide a free new salad. Went back in a week later and was nicely helped. Person behind the counter knew exactly what they were doing and the salad came out solid! Couldn't be happier with over food and experience!
Jake was the best!! Great atmosphere with even better pizza! Came with Chapman friends and Will definitely come back!!! Shoutout Jake!
Even during these whole "pandemic" we came to pizza press and dine in to enjoy a small bite. The workers were very nice and helpful. The place is open to the public and keeping it clean. Food was awesome 👌 fresh and delicious. Check them out and support your local businesses. Come on city of Orange 🍊!
Tried the new rice beer option! so good ❤️🍺
The Pizza Press in the city of orange was a great place for pizza. I went in with my fiancé and sister looking for a new experience as we had never been to one before. The place was well lit, on point with their theme. The staff was cordial and the service was above average. Let's talk pizza, wow I was truly amazed by the taste. Beyond that the freshness of the products I really enjoyed it. I am usually pretty critical of thin crust but this one was really good. The size of it also was nice not generous but satisfying. Gourmet. High-class. High-touch. Clean. Spacious. Fresh ingredients. Staff was friendly, helpful and professional. 25+ beers on tap. Great old time pictures for decor, kid friendly and comfortable seating. And did I mention there is plenty of seating? This place is huge.
Light and airy pizza with a load of flavor!
I did not think much of this place when I first saw it only because it looked like another blaze pizza or pieology. Boy, was I in for a surprise when I walked in and looked at their menu. They had different pizzas you can order and even had a Vegan pizza!( which I ordeer and loved btw!) The beers on tap werent your basic selection of millers too. They had crafts from sculpin to arrogant bastards to some weird but oddly delicious red velvet ale you can get. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here and will be coming back when I have the chance.

Best pizza establishment experience, The worker Jack was a really nice and cool guy and he cooked the my buffalo chicken pepperoni pizza to near perfection, I would 10/10 recommend to anyone who read this to come and eat at this amazing place.
Probably the best pizzas I have had in a long time. And their sauce! Damn that sauce!
Despite them being short staffed, Jack did a great job at providing us speedy service and did it with a great attitude. Will definitely come back.
The pizza was amazing with amazing quality ingredients. My guy Jack gave me the best customer service and he is a good person to talk too as you order. Definitely would come back again

Their service is a bit confusing but the price is good for a build your own with nice toppings. If you like thin crust this place is for you and better than blaze for toppings too. Though I couldn't eat inside as it was so hot for me but outside weather was nice.
There seems to be an explosion of these quick-fire pizza places. I've gone to Pizza Press a few times now and it's always good. They have a vast array of toppings, 4 types of sauces to choose and they are not at all skimpy with the toppings. But the best part!?!?! BEER! Yes, they have a great selection of craft beer with about 20 taps plus many bottles to choose from. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is that all of times I've been there it has always taken a while to pay... Let me explain. You order your pizza and move down the line. At the end you can choose any finishing toppings, they slice it and put it in order for you to pay. The cashier happens to also be the person pouring beers. The backup happens when there is only one cashier working, and people start asking for tastes of various beers, which is helpful, however this invariably causes the line to back up and your pizza to slowly cool as you wait to pay. I would suggest on 'peak demands' they have someone pouring beers while another rings everything through.
Nice environment! It's a slightly higher in version of the "build your own pizza" phase. they have some toppings that you wouldn't normally find out some of the smaller chain stores, like pesto and freshly chopped herbs to go on top
The pizza here is great with a good selection of fresh ingredients and a great variety of draft beers on tap. The price is also very affordable with the choice of unlimited toppings. I would have preferred my crust to be a little bit crunchier but overall it was a good experience.
Really great atmosphere. This place puts your chef skills to the test by only providing a hand full of predesigned pizzas. The rest is up to you, but they do provide quality ingredients including multiple choices of herbs, cheeses, and sauces. The pricing was acceptable for the area.
Pizza made the way you want with quality ingredients. The salads are delicious and the craft beer selection is awesome, and it won't put a dent repair n your wallet. My son loves their pizza, and he's a picky eater. He likes he can select what he wants on his pizza.
Great selection of toppings and sauce, and open late. The only reason I'm giving this a 4 is because I saw a cockroach last time I was there, I would give this a 5 star for sure if it was not for the bug(thankfully it was closer to the door than the pizza oven). Their beer selection is fantastic as well!
Best make your own Pizza! The place is roomy and has a well though out aesthetic. The name and marketing is a little cringy but the quality of the pizza makes up for it. There are so many options for toppings, dressings, and sauces to the point where it gets overwhelming haha. Expect to drop at least $10 on just about anything you get. Service 8/10 Aesthetic 9/10 Food 9/10 Price 7/10
Good for what it is. I prefer more traditional, slow cooked pizza, but this place makes the best of what it is. Basically like fast food pizza. Good selection of beer as well. I’ll probably be back for a late night snack.

Custom pizzas for dine-in or to-go with a gluten-free option. Great variety of toppings and friendly staff. The lemonades are super delicious. Family friendly and great for a casual date night.
Since my pizza was actually very good, I probably would have given this business a higher star review. But for the extreme rudeness of ONE employee. This was my first time going there and I was a little unfamiliar with the pickup process and the fact that no one was at the pickup station. So I simply asked an employee on the line if my pizza was ready. I was less than two feet away. I asked him four times and he never acknowledged my question or even my presence. The pizza left a good taste in my mouth but his rude service canceled it out! Bill Walton
The workers here have the absolute worst attitude. Being in hospitality myself I understand guests can be a pain in the butt and I try to make their lives easier. But wow the two miserable people had attitudes more sour than their cheese...FYI they don't carry Bleu Cheese. That is legit moldy cheese just chilling there. Where is the sense of pride or integrity in your product, hell this isn't even "quiet quitting" this is just plain laziness and a disregard for food safety. Is moldy cheese going to kill someone...no...but if stuff like this happens it begs the question of what else is going on in the back and what kind if standards does this location have? As for the front, they had maybe 3/4 of the tables dirty, definitely needed an extra body to help wipe down tables,
I, as a local, have come here a plethora of times to indulge in their scrumptious pizza. Every single time I have made an online order I have been severely disappointed with said experience. They have either not started my order or have not been tracking my order, well after it was placed. I erred on the side of the longer time estimate and given a buffer to accommodate for them being busy. There is no sense of organization nor methodology in handling their online orders. Should this be such an issue, they should either cease to offer said service, or change their approach. I would love to update this review and provide them with a 5/5 rating should they figure out their means of handling online services. Please do better, I love your food. Thank you!
Food and staff are wonderful, but the restaurant smells like a men’s urinal! So bad that I cannot even eat inside. You need to fix the airflow in the restaurant as the air from the bathroom is flowing out into the restaurant. This makes for a horrible smell of Urinal pee pads in the entire restaurant. This has been this way for years please fix it. I’m not coming back.
What an unfortunate, horrible experience we had. Located half way down form the circle, the place is good sized with lots of character thanks to the old brick building in which it is situated. The place was dirty, trash on the floor, the beverage station was a mess and under stocked and thus was within an hour of them opening. The service was REALLY bad, the guy making the pizzas made it clear that he didn't want to be there, and the cashier was pretty clueless.. hopefully new and not yet experienced. The pizza guy was making pizzas using severely curved tins which caused the toppings to collect in the middle of the pie, only made worse when same pizza guy literally tossed the pizzas in the oven causing the toppings to further collect in the middle. Also, same guy seemed put off when made aware that he messed up the salad we ordered - ranch dressing doesn't go on the Italiano salad. Finally, the line got super long as soon as more than two people were waiting. I put it on the poor service. Very surprised to see such a half-hearted effort when the food is very average and there is a fast-pizza competitor a half block away.. Blaze Pizza is just on the circle.
I went to the pizza press and was having a good experience at first until we talked to a man named nick who made both me and my friends very uncomfortable. He was asking very personal question about my friend and making her feel very unsafe. I enjoyed my pizza and the rest of my experience but I will not be returning after the experience with nick.
