Tacos & chips were pretty good. They have a separate chef prepare food for people with allergies and they come to the table before making it to go over allergies and food options which is great! Service was great! Prices are what you'd expect at a theme park! Yusr- the chef was amazing! Very attentive and informative and took allergy order seriously!
Excellent service when on the VIP tour and everything we had for breakfast and lunch was delicious! Later in the evening we also did the RIP tour and all though the food was not as good it still had a good variety. We especially loved the fact they had pizza fries and the Nashville chicken tenders were also really good. For dessert the brownie was really good and on the lunch menu they had an amazing chocolate pudding.
This is nice place to eat. You have table service via a QR code on your table that lets you mobile order and pay from there. They will bring your order right to your table and will bus your table when you leave.
We finally got the chance to dine here and we were NOT disappointed! I ordered the salad with chicken and lime salt chips with queso - it was FREAKING AWESOME! Some of the food at UO can be so-so, but everything our party got was excellent here. Give it a shot and enjoy a break in the peaceful inside seating. 10/10 will be doing this again!!
First time at this location and everything was great. The decor inside is awesome and the staff was really friendly. Definitely recommend their salsa flight all of the salsa was really fresh and delicious. I also love that they fry their own tortilla chips. If you're looking for a quick bite to eat with great food I definitely recommend!
So, Cafe La Bamba. It is a restaurant that is only open for those that purchased the VIP experience. The VIP experience is at leasr an additional $189 to your ticket price. For tjat you receive a buffet breakfast and lunch, also you are given an Express pass, then assigned a tour guide. The tour guide takes you around the park and gets you front of the line admission on about 10 to 12 rides. So, that is a major plus. If you only have 1 or 2 days to spend at Universal studios, it is a good deal since you see so much.
I wasn't expecting much from a buffet honestly. We dined here for breakfast and lunch during our VIP tour. They are so tricksy - even though it's a buffet, the waitstaff was prompt, courteous and attentive. The food was delicious, especially the salmon for lunch and these little stuffed biscuit things at breakfast. Great variance in selection and it was all scrumptious! Loved this place!

I haven't been here since it opened beyond the VIP tour. On the VIP tour, food was amazing and the staff was attentive. I enjoyed trying all the food and dessert offerings here. VIP tour guides were always fun and great making first interactions with everyone comfortable.
The food here was definitely cheaper than other restaurants at Orlando. The staff is friendly and hardworking, and cleaned the tables after each guest left. They do not take tips, so that provides some more savings as well. My wife and I did not eat at any other restaurant in Universal after we found this place. Service is prompt and you do not have to wait as long as you have to do in other restaurants.

I'm so glad I picked this place at Universal. Food was my biggest concern because most Universal (and theme parks) food is not great. Came here for lunch and...yeah it's over-priced and small servings...but honestly one of the BEST places to eat at Universal. I stand by that. Tacos were tiny but good, rice bowl was not bad, guacamole/chips were good. I came for lunch and they instructed me to sit down at a table and then order through the Universal Orlando mobile app. I did not use the app for any tickets or purchases prior to coming here, I had paper/physical tickets. So I would HIGHLY recommend downloading the app and having your payment info loaded up...I had to create an account, put in the payment info, pick items of the menu, order, etc, and then wait for the food to come and then eat. Wait-time was not long, maybe 30 minutes at most but it was on a Monday so I expect it would get busier on a weekend. Not a ton of menu options but that's okay in my opinion because they can push out more food and faster delivery. You can also order ahead and pick it up if you don't want to dine in, but they actually had seats open inside so I would dine in! 4/5

Prices are very steep at Universal Stidios in general but $16 for a small "bowl" of rice is more like a half scoop of rice with a small scoop of sides. The taquitos comes with three. The tacos can't be customized aside from the meat. They also come with 3 and chips. I used the chips from the taco plate to help fill me up with the rice bowl.
Friendly staff. Air conditioning. Lots of seating. My chicken taquitos were over cooked. The ordering method was different. You scan QR code to get to menu. You set up an account and then order.

Visited part of the VIP experience. The breakfast buffet was below average. Looked sad, dark and grim inside. Definitely not worth paying money for.

Walked into the restaurant and we were told to sit at a table and place your order on the Mobile app and they will bring it out to you. We were patient, waited 30 minutes before asking about our order, staff said they are working on it. An hour passes, still nothing. Going in to check on it again, they hold up the ticket and say we are working on it. 15 minutes later some of our food arrives, the portions are ridiculously small. So, go back in and pick up the rest of our order and bring it to the take ourselves. Almost 1 hour and 45 mins of our time in the park was wasted. Do not waste your time or your money here. Go somewhere else. Never again!

Definitely overpriced. Food taste not good at all for that price. Is it me or is it normal that in America, fork is being used for eating rice, instead of spoon? If it is, it is extremely stupid that they should start to acknowledge that spoon is the appropriate utensil to eat rice than using a fork!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 The kind old lady waitress finally came back with three spoons after a while. Effort appreciated. Definitely won't go back to this eating place again. From Singapore
Got 3 steak tacos, barely any meat at all on the taco, $17 for that basically a waste. Got chips and Queso but they don’t tell you your tacos come with chips so I ordered chips and Queso, I could’ve just ordered one Queso for less than half the price of both. Don’t go here

Food wasn't nice at all and it took over an hour and a half for 5 people, had to ask if it was even being made three times, after still not listening and there was a queue to complain! It was also quite expensive and not worth it.
The only reason they get 1 star is because of the kind lady taking care of the dining room. She noticed we had been waiting a very long time for our food and checked on our order for us then brought us drinks and free chips and queso. It took 45 minutes to get our food after placing app order. It wasn’t even the lunch rush, there were several people just standing around in the kitchen. Very frustrating and the food wasn’t even that good for the price.
!WARNING! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! We feel ripped off and spat on. Horrible service, bad bland food, very bad drinks. The place was not busy and we had to wait over an hour before our food came out. $16 "Tacos" are tiny amounts of chewy meat with a minute sprinkle of cheese. $6 Chips and queso was a big bowl of chips with a spoon full of room temperature queso. $14 Margheritas were half ice and probably all cheap marg mix. No tequila. By far the worst food and experience at ANY park we have been to in USA. I don't even know how Universal can have this place operating. Disgraceful. To top it off you have to pay on mobile in advance so you are screwed once your food comes. Just take some cardboard with you for lunch. It has more flavor.
Worst experiencie. Staff was dirty and droped food from their clothes to my table. Service was awful, worst I’ve had in the US like in forever. Food was just basic. All their “rules” were stupid, as in “I think I need your identity card because I don’t want to serve you alcohol” and has to be physical because your 30 years are not enough… then a refund in cash while I payed for it by card… but, I understand someone else than the waiter made the rules, but why not try some nice face and a will to help instead of being rude and dismissing… anyway there are a ton of other options, I just regret I chose this horrible place.
