Celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary at Cuba Libre and they did not disappoint!! The food was incredible (Garlic shrimp was soooooo goooood). The service and recommendations from Keke were really good, the mojitos are a must try. I preorder the celebration surprised for my wife when I reserve ( banana split with huge sparklers and sign for our anniversary) I thought it was going to be something small but they knocked out the park with the celebration and she was so surprised. Definitely will be back
I visited this Orlando location in June and was pleasantly surprised. For a franchise, it is pretty good. The food was fresh and tasty, and the portions were plentiful. I went there for a late brunch and the place was not very busy, so we got plenty of attention from our server. All in all, a very good experience.
Amazing restaurant, the place was so colorful and had a Hispanic heritage style. The food was incredibly delicious. We had garlic shrimp for an appetizer, Levanta Muertos soup, Ropa Vieja with Cangri, and banana chocolate bread pudding. The best part was our server, Leila, who treated us so well and professionally. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.
We LOVE places with great atmosphere. This is place is definitely worth checking if you appreciate well crafted plates, Cuban bread and all the immersive dining you can handle. I’ve heard about this place from so many other friends that raved about it… the proof was in all the reviews you see. Don’t be led away by bad reviews, it’s literally one of the best places to eat on I-Drive.
We were in Orlando for a business conference and were looking for a non-chain restaurant. Cuba-Libre was close to our hotel, so we tried it. We were seated right away, and our server Mitch, got our drinks really quick. Being foreign to Cuban food, I relied on Mitch for his recommendations. He did not steer us wrong! From the drinks to the meal, everything was amazing! Thank you for a great experience and dinner!
It was an amazing experience from start to finish. Our waiter took such great care of us. The food was so tasteful. I did the magical dining and the Pescao Frito didn’t disappoint. Love it! And let’s not talk about the Cuba Colada by the pitcher 🤌🏽 too bad we couldn’t stay for the dancing but I’m Def coming back
We came on a Monday night on a reservation. We didn’t need the res, but always have one if you can. Decor was really cool. I felt like I was in Havana. I ordered the ropa vieja, it was seasoned perfectly. The mango butter for the free bread was also amazing. Service was great, as was my drink. I will definitely go back.
Omg, this place was amazing!!!! Absolutely loved everything! My husband and I were visiting from Oregon, we love Cuban cuisine. Our server was very knowledgeable! We ordered the pork plate for 2, got some drinks and just savored the evening. I know they have a couple spots in other states, would love for them to open a restaurant in Oregon!
My husband and I had the pleasure of trying Cuban food for the first time at this beautiful place. Food was outstanding!!! Everyone was friendly. It was an enjoyable experience. Had to flag down the waiter a couple of times due to his disappearance. But that was minor issue. Food was delicious. Already looking forward to next time..
THIS PLACE IS EVERYTHING!!! Seen it on tiktok & I had to try it. They have a 4 course meal for $50 to celebrate their 25 anniversary. And when I tell you its a great deal!!! So much food for your money. The service was great. Our waiter Qui Qui was so nice. The food was unbelievably delicious! Make you want to kiss the chef. Go, go, go!!!
Anything with pork on this menu is heavenly. The red snapper was good, too. If anyone knows the recipe for the mango cinnamon butter let me know. Luis was attentive and knowledgeable and kind. I'd give ten stars if I could.
Wow what an amazing time. I’m from NY and I came to Orlando because my Fiancée love Florida. I took him to a Cuba Libre and they did everything I wanted. They first sat us upstairs but they were so accommodating when we asked to move down stairs. It was my Fiancées bday so I pre ordered a hotels of champagne and a banana split that came with the marquee. It was amazing. David was amazing and the host was sweet and was awesome. The food and drink hit. Trully amazing. And the music was amazing as well!! We will def come again when we are in Orlando
From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with a warm greeting and friendly staff who made us feel right at home. Our server, Keke, was absolutely wonderful—kind, attentive, and genuinely pleasant throughout the entire experience. We were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday, and everything went perfectly, making the occasion even more special. The food was delicious and exceeded our expectations, and the atmosphere was amazing, creating the perfect setting for a celebration. We truly had a great experience and will definitely be returning.
I attended a KBIS happy hour at Cuba Libre in Orlando and had a wonderful time! There were ample delicious hors d'oeuvres together with an open bar, which made the experience even better. The staff was super nice and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my visit. The food was very good, and the atmosphere was nicely decorated and comfortable. I ended up staying for about 4 hours because it was such a great spot to relax and enjoy. I’m definitely planning to come back for dinner next time! Highly recommend checking it out.
Such a delicious experience at this Cuban restaurant! From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. Our server, Sheila, was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond by accommodating a special off-menu request with ease and a smile. The manager, Steven, was equally welcoming and attentive, which truly elevated the experience. The food was rich, comforting, and full of flavor—the kind of meal that makes you want to come back again and again. On top of that, the space itself felt like a theater: warm, vibrant, and full of character. I absolutely loved the ambiance. Highly recommend for both the food and the experience!
Fun place for a Sunday brunch. Traditional Cuban food and the bottomless mojitos made it even better. All the dishes we had were excellent. The service was attentive but not over bearing. Very enjoyable dining experience.
My girlfriend and I ate here on a Saturday night and it was a great vibe! The food was delicious, good drinks, and our bartender/server David made great conversation and was very attentive. We came in early February and it wasn’t busy at all, but the nighttime DJ definitely gathered a crowd playing salsa, bachata, merengue, reggaeton and more. Fun interior decor!
I had a business dinner here with some colleagues from overseas. I was extremely impressed with the service and the quality of food. The meals were phenomenal, the time from ordering to table for both cocktails and food was phenomenal. I am a huge fan of Cuban cuisine and I can say that this is some of the best I've ever had. Highly recommend, and a great venue for professional meetings as well.
This was my second time here, first was was a while back on the first floor. This time, we were seated on the second floor. I definitely liked the second floor better, we went around 830ish, had the cha cha cha cha platter and it was good and tasty. The food is good and fancy, a bit pricey in my opinion for what you are getting but I get it and that's why we only got an appetizer.
This venue was chosen for a private event. The space is fantastic with a great dance floor. Upstairs offers plenty of room, and the interior is beautifully themed. The restrooms were okay but not very clean, possibly due to the event’s busyness. The drinks were excellent, with generous pours. I would definitely recommend this place as a venue for a private event. Overall, a fantastic experience!
Came to celebrate my lady’s birthday. They were so nice and attentive. We were served very quickly and they made us feel special. Great customer service experience. Celebration desert was so massive no way we could have finished it!
Wow! That's all I can say. What a wonderful dining experience at Cuba libre! The atmosphere, the food, the service. Everything was exceptional. Walking into this place you feel like you're stepping into Cuba. The atmosphere is delightful, the food was absolutely delicious and our server Mickey was absolutely amazing.. She was friendly, personable, engaging, and attentive. And attentive. The overall service of this restaurant was top notch. We will definitely be back next time we're in town.
Went here for new years eve and the music selection was fantastic. We were on the second floor with access to a full buffet and the food was incredible. Especially the pulled pork. Would recommend this for anyone who's looking to go salsa dancing at a club.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in Orlando. My wife is Cuban-American and I am from Miami, so we are somewhat picky when it comes to Cuban food, but Cuba Libre never disappoints. The atmosphere looks like it could be in a Havana club in the 1950s. Beautiful murals, fanciful ceiling fans, interesting facades all make the room interesting and inviting. If I had one compli about the atmosphere, it can get somewhat loud when the place is crowded. The service is always excellent and you can tell the staff has been well trained and actually enjoy what they do. This time we shared the Cuban bread with guava butter, it was delicious and hard not to order more after the initial basket. My wife ordered the lechon asado, which was tender and juicy. It came with perfectly seasoned black beans, really well prepared white rice, and maduros (sweet plantains). She was in heaven. I ordered the Cuban sandwich combo, which came with a delicious Cuban sandwich, black beans, a salad, and plantain chips. If I had one complaint about my order, the sandwhich could have been served a little hotter, as the Swiss cheese had already lost its meltiness. It was still really good, but could have been better.
Perfect experience for us, a great date night! The food was amazing and our server, (I can't remember his name, but he is from Puerto Rico) was fantastic! We will be back perhaps between leave town, or next time we come to Orlando.
You have to go and experience it. 🥳 As dinner closes, it transforms into a nightclub/cocktail lounge with a DJ and live music. 🎶🎤 We just spent New Year's Eve having dinner with our family and enjoyed every moment.

While most restaurants are quite soulless and don't have a wonderful atmosphere or staff, Cuba Libre stands out. The food is absolutely delicious. We had the fried red snapper. The atmosphere is absolutely second to none. David was awesome!

The food was excellent - the Vaca Frita was superb. My only complaint is about the wait staff, but I'm going to blame the management on this one. The staff members were friendly, but rushed us. If you're going to charge $15 or whatever for chips and dip, then please ASK before taking it away. YOU brought out the entree before we were anywhere CLOSE to being done with the app. Just time it better - maybe that's the kitchen's fault? Also - and I normally don't comment on this as it's unfortunately normal in too many restaurants - but this wait staff was excessively bad about interrupting my party during the meal. I waited tables, and I don't linger when I'm done eating. And I get it: you want to turn the table. Just don't make it so painfully obvious next time. And to then have the audacity to ask about dessert? Come on, now.
We had a party of 20 for a birthday celebration. The idea was to celebrate by having dinner then joining the night club for the rest of the evening. It was my first time visiting, and the food is ok. The service is good, but our server had an attitude, and the birthday dessert came out while the birthday girl was in the bathroom. The drinks are good. We stayed for the party, got a couple VIP tables and danced the rest of the night. That was fun. Overall, we had a good time.
Posting review late, we visited here on September 16, 2023 First time here and it definitely lived up to the hype. Very colorful atmosphere, the inside is amazing! I absolutely loved the decor and the "feel" of the restaurant! Our server was awesome! Since it was our first time there, she helped recommend some very good dishes! We had 4 people in our group so we ordered a few dishes that came with multiple options so we could try a little bit of all the good stuff! Apologies for not remembering the names of the food dishes we ordered, but highly recommended all of the ones pictured! Highly recommend making reservations, especially if you're planning on eating on the weekends. At 10pm, the restaurant below turns into a dance club. Great atmosphere but I wasn't impressed by the music. The DJ started off with some good songs, but then it turned into the usual main stream clubby music that you can get anywhere, so it was a bit disappointing. I'd visit here again, but only for the food and atmosphere, not for the late night club scene.
Cool place to experience a live band and a festive environment. We were seated by the stage for a memorable experience. The server was helpful with suggesting which dishes to select for our meal choice. My sister and father enjoyed their meals. Mine on the other hand was a bit dry and a tad overcooked. Nonetheless, it didn’t stop me from enjoying the band and having a good time. Will I come back? Most definitely!
Service was great, live music was fantastic and started at 8:50 pm and dj started at 10:30 pm , sangria was good, I got the fried fish and loved it, my friends sais their food was good too.
Great experience! All service from our reservation, hostess, to our server were excellent! Everyone was friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Entrees, cocktails, and coffee were so delicious. Portions for the price were a little smaller than anticipated and desserts were not quite as flavorful as expected compared to the entrees. Ambiance was amazing. It can be quite loud so conversation during dinner will be minimal unless you are full on yelling but the music definitely added a special touch to the experience. Overall happy with the experience!
Excellent coquito mojitos, mango butter to die for, and superb service. However the appetizer was cold. Main plate was seafood paella which was nice and hot.

it was my very first time trying Cuban food and i did not enjoy it. we went for magical dining and tried little bit of everything from the menu. Appetizers- only item OK for me was chicken empanadas. Beef empanadas was way too sour from the salt and olives. garlic shrimp was lacking flavor. it was literally shrimp and pieces of garlic in oil. no salt no spices no flavor at all. Main dish- slow cooked beef had weird taste and mashed potatoes came with it looked like it was made days ago and were sitting in the fridge. on the menu it was written as “chicken breast” but it came out as chicken thigh but mashed potatoes and sauce came with chicken was really good. Dessert- churros and rice pudding were okay, average. Now to the service, a female server introduced herself and mentioned she’ll be our server and since then we did not see her for good 10 minutes. place was empty-ish with few tables with large groups that night. eventually a bartender James young gentleman came and took care of us. we enjoyed his service and he was very attentive, professional and friendly. Atmosphere of the place is very good, almost like one of those theme parks restaurants. very good design and decoration. might not come back for food, but definitely will be back to try their drinks.
I visited this restaurant with a large group of family and friends (15+ people), and while the experience started off well, it didn’t quite meet expectations. The service began with good energy, but as the evening went on, it seemed like our waitress got tired of handling our big group. We ordered a variety of dishes—mostly chicken, pork, and seafood—but unfortunately, much of the food arrived a bit cold. On top of that, we got pitchers of both alcoholic and virgin mojitos, and they were honestly terrible. However, the dessert was surprisingly good, which was a nice way to end the meal on a somewhat positive note. We had initially planned to visit on the weekend to enjoy the live music, but in the end, that seemed like it would have been the only real highlight. Overall, the experience was a mix—great dessert, decent ambiance, but underwhelming food, drinks, and service. Coffee was served very very cold :(
Looks amazing and the food is very good. Service was strangely variable - first they placed us between the kitchen exist and the bar so had servers surrounding us all the time, then our waiter did his best to hurry us to order coming back every minute to press on us to hurry (we stayed less than an hour!). The atmosphere is visually lovely but that’s where the positives end. Half way through the band fired up (drums too) and NOBODY could hold a conversation- and not just our table. We couldn’t get out of there quick enough.
The food wasn’t horrible but it also wasn’t amazing. The pricing was on the high side. This location is definitely a one and done for my wife and I. Our server was great. The restaurant looks great. The atmosphere was great but the food didn’t live up to my expectations.

“I recommend Estefan Kitchen Restaurant instead—it has better dishes and better prices.” Real Cuban Food!! What was meant to be a special New Year’s Eve dinner turned into a very disappointing experience. Due to poorly worded advertising, I made an incorrect reservation and asked the manager for help, but there was zero flexibility or compassion. We were asked to leave the restaurant at 10:00 p.m. on December 31st, and ended up welcoming the New Year on the road instead—despite being willing to spend over $400. The service was rushed and uncomfortable, with waitstaff repeatedly trying to clear plates while we were still eating. The food was also below expectations and did not reflect authentic Cuban cuisine. My husband is a Cuban chef, and we can confidently say the quality did not justify the high prices. Attempts to speak with the head chef led nowhere, and no one followed up. The night ended in frustration and sadness for our family. With over 20 years of customer service experience (including at Disney), this was a clear failure in hospitality. I hope management improves training and guest care so no other family experiences this on such an important night.
The service and attention from our waitress were exceptional. However, the food took over an hour to arrive. The manager came down to apologize. When the food finally arrived, the portions were very small, and the prices were very high. I would not eat here again. Although the decor and live music deserve 5 stars, I cannot say the same about the food and prices, especially the wait times!
Extremely disappointed. We were seated at a broken unstable table that not even a makeshift wedge couldn’t fix. Service was poor-We had to ask for utensils/napkins While surrounding tables receive their immediately. For the high prices, the food was mediocre at its best. Nice presentation and the drinks were decent, but that’s not enough to bring me back.
You're paying for the location and the decoration. Food comes out cold and over an hour. If you order drinks to pass the time they won't come out either. Waited 30 mins for drinks, when I asked the server, Deborah, blamed the bar so I cancelled. Food is mediocre. Save your money and just order water and easy meals, it's all they can manage. Went for a birthday and it was ruined by bad service, only go for low stakes occasions. The interior decor is great though.
The experience at this restaurant and bar was disappointing overall. Starting with the food and drinks, the prices were steep, which set high expectations that weren’t met. For a rum-focused bar, the cocktails lacked a wow factor—my drink was weak, and the mixer was flat. Of the four dishes we tried, two were decent, but the other two fell short. The Cuban sandwich was overpriced for its small portion and average quality. The salmon, while well-presented, was cold in the center. The pork, a Cuban staple, was tough and underwhelming, though the beef dish stood out as the best of the bunch. Service was another letdown. It took about 30 minutes for our food to arrive, water glasses were never refilled, and the drink menu was whisked away without any discussion or recommendations from the server. For a bill exceeding $150, you’d expect far better attention to detail. The atmosphere was the highlight. The decor is stunning, with dimly lit tables, ample spacing, and cozy booths that add a nice touch. Would not return to this one.

I was recommended the restaurant by a Cuban as an excellent place and great atmosphere. This should have been a fantastic night and an excellent dinner. I made a reservation for two and showed up on time. The main dining room where all the atmosphere is and the appearance of Havana was nearly empty and I was excited….until we were seated at a high top by the bar where very little of that is visible. I don’t expect that reservations would be made for high tops by the bar. Especially when the main dining room room was empty. This deflated the experience. Being served by the bar also ensured that service was slow as the waitress was overworked. Drink glasses ran dry. The food was decent but highly overpriced for what it was. The price I was willing to pay was for the ambiance and I got none of it. I will be back in town in October with a team of guys and instead of taking them there I will find other places to go. This was truly a disappointing evening.
I've enjoyed dining at Cuba Libre in other cities, so I was excited to visit the Orlando location and made reservations in advance. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations.\n\n…
We had a reservation at Café Cuba Libre and were really looking forward to trying it, but the experience was so unwelcoming that we left before even ordering. Despite having a reservation, the hostess sat us at a terrible table she seemed to choose on the spot — right next to a yellow caution cone, with a dirty floor around it. The hostess was not welcoming at all, and the whole interaction felt rushed and careless. We kindly asked for a different table since we weren’t walk-ins and had booked ahead, but her response was: “The booking just gives you a spot at the restaurant, but you don’t get a say about the table.” That was enough for us. We simply left and went to a wonderful restaurant right across the street, where we were greeted warmly and treated with the respect every guest deserves. Given the lack of hospitality and poor cleanliness, I absolutely cannot recommend Café Cuba Libre.
