La Differance is praised for its delicious and fresh Haitian food, generous portions, and friendly service. Popular dishes include patties, griot, and diri djon djon. Some customers have noted inconsistencies in food quality and slow service.

Never disappoints. Great food, as always.
The food was great, and they give huge portion sizes. Highly recommended!
I enjoy the food and the service here. They also sell bakery items like cakes and Haitian bread. As well as other items like peanut butter, kremas, peanut cake and jams. I usually get the fried goat and fried chicken with rice.
I’m Jamaican so I’m not familiar with the foods! But every time I come in here the people are so friendly and helpful! The food is amazing! I highly recommend!

I recently went on a taste tour of Haitian restaurants to try dishes like Griot and Diri Djon Djon, and this spot was one of the better ones! The Diri Djon Djon was flavorful, and the Griot was a nice balance of meat to fat, which was a big plus. While the Griot could have used a bit more seasoning, the sauce brought it all together beautifully. We also tried the mac and cheese, which looked and smelled amazing, but the taste didn’t quite match. The noodles were a bit too soft for my preference, and it had a slight sweetness, likely from the bell peppers. Where they truly shined was the pâté. The flavors were fantastic—so good it brought me close to that nostalgic feeling I look for in classic Haitian pâté. I didn’t try the pâté kòde since I grew up with the regular kind, but this one still hit the mark, especially for the price. The cake was decent, but what really stood out was the atmosphere. This place clearly holds a special spot in the community. The door was constantly revolving, and by the time we left, the line was stretching out the door. All in all, I’d rate it an 8.5/10 and would definitely recommend it for a great taste of Haitian cuisine!
Cool lil spot. Ducked off. Genuine Haitian food. Cute girl at the counter tonight.
I am no “Foodie” but I grew up in a very diverse city, experiencing food from several different cultures. The food at Ladifferance is very good: high quality/fresh/good presentation. But the best part is, the ambiance and how the staff make you feel…that is what you won’t get in a lot of establishments these days. And it starts at the top with the Owner - kudos to him for setting a great example on how to really serve. Do yourself a favor and experience everything Ladifferance has to offer. The great food is a bonus!
I have been a loyal customer of this La Differance Bakery & Takeout Restaurant for a couple of years now and continue to be impressed by the consistent quality of their food, which is always fresh and delicious. The establishment is always kept clean, and the staff consistently demonstrate professionalism and courtesy. Recently, I used their catering and was very pleased with the number of delectable items they offer. I highly recommend them for both quality and service.
The food was absolutely delicious. I order from Ladifferance bakery all the time, and it always tastes amazing, fresh, flavorful, and consistently good. The service was also on point: courteous, attentive, and professional. Even while taking orders and handling takeout, she was friendly and efficient, which made the whole experience even better. They truly make a difference when it comes to takeout in our community.
It is rare finding a Haitian restaurant/bakery with great food and service but La Differance exceeded my expectations. I came across the bakery a few days ago on DoorDash and decided to try their chicken and beef patties since I haven’t found any bakery that sells good Haitian patties in Orlando. Today’s actually my second day buying their patties. They were so good that I bought their lalo tonight on DoorDash. There was an issue with my order from the app, I called the restaurant, spoke with a gentleman (didn’t get his name) but he made it right. He was so nice about it and helpful. 10 out of 10. Great food and service. I recommend this place to get authentic Haitian food.
Best Haitian food. I’m very picky but this place exceeds my expectations. Food is always fresh and fast! They also open at 8am. What other place you know where you can get fried turkey or griot at 8 in the morning lol. I’m not a breakfast person so this restaurant is perfect for me. Best food hands down. Fried turkey be on point!
One of the best Haitian restaurants in Orlando. Each of the patties taste phenomenal and the Lalo is always hot, fresh, and available. Fried turkey is amazing as well. You can get Haitian bread, chocolate, castor oil, kremas and so much more!

Food and Service is always great! I came here awhile back when my mother in law asked me to pick up some food for her. And the owner found out that it was my first time visiting and gave me a free Haitian patty. After that bite I’ve been hooked! Now anytime on this side of town. I have to get a few plates for my parents and my mother in law. Love it here! 5 stars for sure!
When I am in Orlando, this is my go-to Haitian restaurant. The mais is so good. It reminds me of my mother's cooking. The prices are decent, and their patties are very buttery. This was my third visit.
The Mac and cheese is different but very good. The Legume was delicious. I would have given 5 stars but they charge extra for the black rice. The black rice was dried out not fresh a little hard. Next time I would get the rice that’s included in the meal because it was probably fresh.

My experience was good the staff work swiftly and the portions were big. The owner is very accommodating. As far as the food not so great while the portion was a good size for a medium legume (spinach) they only put one piece of meat (beef). The meat need to cook more as it was not tender. The legume was good the white rice was not mushy the black bean were good too. I also ordered the fritay (pork griot) the meat was seasoned and decent. The meat Did Not smell or taste FRESH which is a PLUS. The Akra mediocre, the marinade was sour, the piklis sour. The plantains good. The beef patties need more meat but are very flaky and delicious. The cake was moist taste better at room temperature rather than straight out of the fridge.

Ordered a Tasso which didn’t taste like Tasso and the worst thing is I paid so much for a small amount of food. I don’t know why Haitian restaurants panse yap rich in one day.

I brought 2 pate kode and was charged $4.00 extras for 1 egg in each patty so $2 for 1 egg and I ask for chicken and smoked herring and eggs. But I had bits of chicken and pork with pieces of bones inside. Good thing I like to cut open my patty and eat it with a fork and didn’t bite into it. We need to do better my people. You can’t put bones inside patties please

Arrogant, rude people and the food is terrible. I put what I ordered in trash. Never again. Do not recommend this place.
I like to try lots of different foods and when I found out I had a well-rated Haitian place near me I knew I needed to try! That being said, coming in the shop as a non-Haitian, I was definitely met with odd vibes :/ they were smirking at me and giggling which made me uncomfortable a bit. Food was decent but having that experience made me feel too embarrassed of myself to go back which is a shame. The prices were also different than displayed, I don’t know if they took advantage of me or if prices add on despite the meal you choose but the board said one price and I ended up paying nearly $25 for one meal!
Very slow service.. not friendly at all. Waited 10 minutes.. and then told order wasnt ready and was going to be another 10 minutes. Dont recommend
