I grew up in San Diego. One of the local delicacies was carne asada burritos. Since moving to Florida, finding Mexican similar to what is found in Southern California or baja California is near impossible. This place hits the mark perfectly! I admit it isn't in the best part of Orlando, but every time I an there, I have to come her for a a carne asada burrito. Imagine a burrito with just cheese, grilled steak, and pico de gallo in a size for two meals! It's a steak burrito in its purest dorm without beans and rice for filler or to cover up the taste of the juicy beef. It is a little taste of home.
The BEST burritos in Orlando. Especially the Breakfast Burritos. All Day Breakfast and a Drive Thru really makes this place a hidden gem. Plus, customer service at the drive thru is always sweet, friendly, and helpful. The kind you would easily find in Los Angeles or Las Vegas, these Burritos are much harder to find in Orlando, and we're so happy we finally stumbled upon Mariachi Mexican Restaurant. There are other great burritos around town but we've been searching for exactly this ever since moving to Florida a few years ago. The rice and beans especially are exactly what our spoiled by California tastebuds have been craving. Looking forward to exploring more of the menu eventually, but for now we're stuck on Carne Asada and Breakfast burritos.
Great lunch deal with drink for less than $5. Would do again. There was no wait for food besides for it to be cook. Burrito was gigantic, could have been two separate meals. Was filled with Chicken, sauce, fajita type vegetables, and surprisingly french fries. I need to check the board again for other lunch specials, but there were a variety of other dishes to try.
I order the carne asada fries from here often in Doordash. Have been consistently good every single time 👍.
My experience was good the food was great in the young lady that took my to go order was super friendly and informative I got a Carnitas burrito that was stuffed with goodness and great flavor a good size burrito for the money also
We were looking for a Mexican restaurant and found this one. The food is amazing! 2 of us had fajitas and one had a steak quesadilla. All components of the meals tasted fresh and the seasonings blended fantastically. The waitress was efficient and courteous and the restaurant was clean and pleasant. We would definitely recommend this to anyone!
Don’t let the outside of this place fool you . This place deserves to be top tier Mexican food places in central Florida !! Taco Tuesday’s and Thursday’s !! The tacos are cheap and delicious !
The food was delicious, good prices, great service. No complaints! Will definitely be back!
I am not really sure why are there so many bad reviews to this place ?! But i have been here a couple times and the food is top tier yes its take. minimum 25 mins to come out nonetheless they do have the drive thru booming most time which if you have worked in fast food before the drive thru is usually first priority as its coming and going…. nonetheless again food is always amazing everything is seasoned well and portions are HUGE for the price… love love love this place 🥰
I’ve been a customer for a while now, but I always ordered the same: Super Nachos or Carne Asada fries. Always drive thru, but I decided to try something different since I was passing and had the time. I loved it, and as you can see the portions are more than enough. The service was great and for quality and quantity I can’t complain about the price. My only suggestion would be to lower the music a little. Otherwise, 10/10.
The dollar tacos are delicious. We actually ordered several dishes, and everything was very good for the price. The staff was very friendly, and the place was clean! I would go back for the tacos. Thank you.
Decided to grab a late lunch while I had my rims fixed up at a nearby establishment. Walking in, I was greeted with a cozy atmosphere with Spanish music playing. I sat myself and waited for a server to bring out the menu. The menu had prices crossed off and was told they were reworking the menu. I also grabbed a little card with the specials, but apparently those specials were either not available or not being honored. I was given some chips and a different type of salsa that was light brown. The chips were crunchy and hot (great), the salsa didn't have much flavor, but was a good compliment with the chips. The chips weren't salty, and I think that's fantastic. I settled upon the Burrito Al Pastor and the flavors inside were awesome. It had guacamole, pico de gallo, and wonderfully marinated pork. It did come with a green sauce on the side, that was on the medium side, and it had good flavor. The price was around $8 and the food portion was a good size for the price. I would come back here if I was in the area.
Great food, great service, ice cold beer. Good for late night eats or just lunch or even a quick snack. Chicken items are my go to. The birria tacos and soup are amazing.
Hands down one of the best tacos shops in central FL. Just moved back from CA a couple years ago. Been trying to find that same authentic taste. Finally found it! The CA burrito is just how I remembered it in CA. Food rations are the same. Get a lot of food for your buck! Thank you Tono's! Only place, that has that Cali taste!
One of my kids was telling me about this place, how much they frequent cause the food is good and cheap. And they were right, the Tacos were 🤤🤤…I will be back…❤️❤️
HIDDEN GEM. Been coming here for various month and the food, service and cleanliness is amazing. Authentic Mexican cuisine for sure. Nice music too, not to loud. Never full so the food comes out super quick. Love this restaurant 100/10
I passed by this place all the time never tried it till now, they got amazing weekday specials tacos drink chips for 10 bucks, and real generous portion sizes, the exterior of this place don't look like much but inside is nice and clean. Cons: music a little loud and it takes some time to get your order

Surprised there's not more customers at lunch time. This place is pretty good. Carne asada is fire on some tacos or a burrito. All the other meats are good too not as fire as the asada though.

Good grub. Just seems to be in a rough neighborhood. Stragglers on the street we're asking for money offering to wash my truck in return. Very quick service. My food was up within 5 minutes of ordering. Drink Machine was out of ice. Pricing is very fair. They also have a few different salsas to try. Nothing fancy about the place as your food will be on a paper plate and you will be using plastic utensils. However the food and being hot and tasting fresh makes up for it.
This place is truly authentic, and the atmosphere transports you straight to a cozy restaurant in the heart of Mexico. The tacos, enchiladas, burritos, and salads are all delicious. I was craving tacos, and the wide variety on the menu made the experience even better. The service takes a little time, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. The two house-made sauces are on point and add incredible flavor. The restaurant’s furniture is beautiful, with colorful designs that create a vibrant and welcoming space. It’s clean, comfortable, and even has TVs where you can watch soccer games while enjoying a drink. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic Mexican food and a great atmosphere. 🌮🇲🇽
Been wanting to try this place since I saw a tiktoker recommend it. The location will throw you off iykyk. We went on Feb. 15, and were a party of five and there was a party of two seating already. So there was no waiting. And we had to ring the bell to get service. Some one came out and we sat on the booth which was cute. Food was good. Everyone enjoyed their plate. They do sell alcohol beverages(speciality) but it’s not listed on the menu I ordered a margarita.
Extremely traditional and authentic Mexican food! Very affordable and a good value! Four cheese enchiladas plate with rice and refried beans with bottled water was $16. I have to admit the service was very slow and I am not a fan of mole sauce but overall a very nice meal!
Parking lot available directly at restaurant, and they also offer a drive thru. Loved the decor of the restaurant, very traditional Mexican with engraved wood in the backs of the chair and all around great atmosphere Normally used to chips and salsa they gave guac instead which was well done, lots of tomatoes but great flavor Horchata is on the menu and tastes genuine not like the chalky fake stuff Rolled tacos needed a little hot sauce but overall very good. Carne asada fries also tasty, maybe if they could add cotjia next time would perfect it. Overall would return

Great food! That is all that is needed to be said! I have been coming to this place for a long time. They've changed the name a couple of times, but it's always the same great food. With that being said, I don't know who decides the menu price, but I've always agreed with the price change. When it is displayed for you to know the price has changed. But today, they changed the price without any notice. I asked about it and why we were charged more, and they simply said, "that is the regular price"? If the menu says one thing and they change the price it should be known. All I'm saying is check your receipt with the menu! And I get that it is an authentic Mexican food as Mexican food could get in Florida, but could they possibly hire someone that speaks English, I might have resolved my issue.
LET ME START WITH I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! I walked in and sat down and it was at least 5 minutes before anyone came to see me. Once the waitress walked over I noticed it was the same woman who was sitting down watching me when I walked in. I ordered 2 hard shell taco, 1 Barrilla taco, cheese dip and a coke. The cheese dip that I paid $8.99 for was barley the size of what you get at Moes. There is no refills on the drink! The barrilla sauce is average tasting. The chicken taco tasted like canned meat chicken. The best taco was the steak taco. Overall the food was good but this place was sure not worth the $26 before tip that I was charged, for that reason I would never come back!

Food is great especially for them being 1.59$ on Tuesdays!! The place is clean and the staff friendly. However the wait was over an hour and the service was very slow considering there was only 3 tables inside. I recommend the food here but if you are on your lunch break or just actually hungry than this place will be too long of a wait.

These were supposed to be steak tacos. They had overcooked hamburger meat in them, and about 1/4 of the meat was inedible as it had gristle in it. And the restaurant interior was dirty & very in-maintained. Won't be coming back here. Only reason it got 2 stars & not 1 🌟 was because the lady at the counter was nice.
I visited this place a few days ago with my family. The restaurant was completely empty almost the entire time we were there. The music was turned up way too loud, and because we were the only ones in there, we asked to turn it down. They did, but it was still annoying that it was cranked up so loud in the first place. The service was very slow. They definitely prioritize the drive-through over dine in customers. The food was the best part of this place. It was very good. I got the steak quasadilla and I liked it very much. I don't think the food was worth the price, though. They charge an 18% gratuity on top of the price of the food, which seems a bit excessive given the service we received. They also charge for refills on sodas. Overall, I think this place has potential, but it needs to decide if it wants to be a dine in or driver through venue. As it stands, they are trying to do both, and it's leading to a neglecting of the dine in service. If I go back to this restaurant, I will probably try the drive-through and hope the service there will be better.
I had high hopes for this place. Looked pretty authentic inside. But... The food, looked great, tasted just okay. I had shredded beef chimichanga which I have had in many different places but this was just okay or maybe even a bit below average. The main thing to remember however is that their service is very very slow. Not just for me but the people who were there even before me waited for at least 30 minutes before the food came out. Disappointing. I would not recommend.

I went to this establishment on 4/05/21, and bought a number 14. When I got home, I cut the chimichanga in half, and it was full of bell peppers. There was more bell peppers than it was meat. Also the meat was tasteless. I went back, and brought the chimichanga with me, so that they could see it. I was told that I could not get anything else unless I paid. Then I was told that I had to come back the next day, and tell them about my order, and bring the food I brought to show them. I asked why should I bring the food back the next day, when I ordered it not that long ago. Shift change is basically what I was told. That is inexcusable in my opinion. Needless to say, I went home still hungry. They should’ve just gave me something else like I asked.
when we arrived, the restaurant probably had about 3-4 tables seated, was told to seat ourselves. waited 15 minutes for our drink orders to be taken, to wait another 10 minutes for our drinks to be brought out(2 diet cokes). waited over an hour for our meal (8 tacos-2 carne asada, 1 fish, 1 shrimp, 1 chicharron, 2 birria, 1 al pastor), while the restaurant was not busy at all. service was very poor, we were about to walk out about 45 minutes into our hour long wait when the server came up to our table to tell us she noticed the kitchen made a mistake on our food so it will be a longer wait, but we noticed the drive through was being attended to more than dine-in was. the tacos were very bland, only good thing was the birria tacos but no consume to go along with it. we visited from ny so we know what good authentic mexican food is supposed to be and i would have preferred taco bell over this place
Worse customer service that I have ever experienced. I sat in the drive thru for 40 minutes without no one coming to the window to least take payment. This will be the last time I come to this place. The people in line that were in front front of me were leaving as the time to wait was horrible. Might as well shut the place down if you are not going to treat your customers right!
I’m extremely disappointed. I only write reviews when a business truly deserves it, and unfortunately, this place does. I arrived at 12 PM, simply wanting to order a burrito. The cashier struggled with English, which I understand, but after some effort, I managed to communicate my order. I then sat down and waited. Five minutes passed—nothing. Ten minutes—just chips. Twenty minutes—still nothing. The most frustrating part? There was only one other group dining in the restaurant. It was slow, yet instead of preparing my order, they completely ignored me, prioritizing only the drive-thru customers. I watched as they served six full cycles of cars, yet my food never arrived. After waiting 30 minutes, I gave up. I offered to pay for the chips (they didn’t accept payment) and left. Not a single employee tried to stop me, explain the delay, or even apologize. It felt like they intentionally disregarded my order to focus on drive-thru and the other group. Pathetic service. Save your time and go somewhere else.
My wife had the asada fries 7/10 I had the tacos de asada 5/10 Fish tacos 6/10 Shrimp 7/10 Chicharrón 4/10 The tortillas they use for the tacos are cheap and come apart easily and have a nasty flavor. If you have to use the restroom you have to ask for the keys which is unsanitary cause everyone touches them and it defeats the purpose of washing your hands. They also include a 18% gratatuity to your receipt with out posting it or notifying you. I have been to restaurants that do this but you know and are expecting it because of the high quality service they provide. This restaurant is not one of those. All in all I will not be coming back here and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I believe in tipping, but it should be optional and based on good service.
Unbelievable what happened today, they had us waiting for 1 hour and never took our order, took our drinks and never brought them to the table. REALLY BAD SERVICE, if you want to eat DONT COME HERE because they DONT CARE. People even had to do a line to pay because this lady was slow
This place is a total joke. We waited nearly an hour just to get our food, and when it finally arrived, the chicken tacos were absolutely awful. There was zero urgency from the staff, and it showed. Honestly, I saw people straight up walking out because of the ridiculous wait, and the place wasn’t even busy. Definitely not recommending this dump to anyone. Complete waste of time.
