Called the night before to order two large Java boxes with all the fixings. Both were ready a 7:30 am when I arrived to pick them up. Friendly service and car side carry out. The best.
Parked overnight in the Sam's/Walmart parking lot to be close to pickup location and was looking for a place to get a coffee in the morning, because that's very important to my peace of mind, and found this establishment across the street. Very friendly and attentive staff, the coffee was delicious and also had a breakfast sandwich which was very tasty. I will definitely make this a regular stop while in Oxnard. A big thanks to The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf for starting this old truck driver's day with a smile.
Saul and Gabriel, always friendly, professional, and never fail to acknowledge me even if they are in the middle of preparing many drinks at once! Every time i go to this location, feels like a small town coffee house where you feel right at home!

I had the Dream Tea Latte and it was delicious, I have to go back for more! Also the general manager that was there this morning was very friendly and helped me locate the tea that I wanted on the shelf. I would definetely go back for more Dream Tea Lattes. When you buy a box of tea you get a free cup of tea and the best part is that you get to pick the flavor!. I had already purchased my tea and didn't know I could get a free latte, so the general manager offered to give me the bag of tea in the cup and so that I can then make it whenever I wanted. That was a great idea, thank you the general manager had great cusomer service (I didn't get his name)
Way better than Starbucks and the staff is so friendly. I come here all the time to get work done and get some coffee. 10/10.

The manager of this branch is amazing. Runs a tight ship. She gets orders out quickly even though it gets really busy. Remembers people's names and coffee orders. The best.
Every single time that I have visited this location, I've had nothing but great experiences. The service is not only excellent, but they are able to help you in an extremely timely manner so that you are able to grab your drink and get back on the road! I would always get the dark chocolate ice blended, but they have discontinued that flavor and now my go to drink is the Mexican hot chocolate ice blended. The location is always clean and there is ample parking available as well. If you do choose to drink your coffee here, there is seating available both inside and outside.
Great staff! Everyone is very friendly and welcoming! This by far is our favorite coffee bean to visit because of the employees they remember mine and my kids names and favorite drinks. Little to no wait and if you do it’s very rare that you do. Good selection of pastries and other food items.

I recently started going to coffee bean more and this is the nearest location to my job, the people are nice and friendly, the place is clean. Today at 9 am, 2/4/25 the girl on register with the purple bandana was really friendly, good customer service, the guy making the coffees was spot on with drinks. It was busy since it’s morning but he was on it with the drinks. I got a tumbler too but came broken (I didn’t check because I was rushing) and I called asking if I can exchange it, the guy on the phone was nice about it and offered to exchange it for a new one. Really good customer service 👍🏼👍🏼

Yesterday I had an unpleasant and embarrassing situation with another customer, where she clearly did not respect the line of people that was there, she simply arrived and stood near the register, I would like you to put some stickers on the floor or some line indicating where the line of people goes, to avoid this type of situation, thank you very much.
Staff was super nice and not snotty the like 1 in Pismo Beach California.
CB & TL is always great...I love their coffee...There is always a line in the morning though...and it does take about 10-15 min. to get your java. The barristas are friendly and the service is good...just wish it were a little faster.

Friendly staff in a decent location right off the 101. A local tatterdemalion was making the back part of the shop (where the restroom is available) his hang-out which was an overall detractor. Otherwise, the drinks were speedily delivered and tasted good.
I love ordering at this location, but there are some things left to be desired. There are some ladies behind the counter that come off very intimidating, they don’t smile and they have a very condescending tone. Aside from service, the cream cheese/butter knife should really be packed separately from bagel, especially if the bagel is toasted. When the bagel is toasted it makes everything in the bag sweaty, and it get a bit uneasy feeling because I don’t know what touched the cream cheese cups before they went inside the bag with my food. That being said, I’ve never had a bad experience with this place, just a bit uncomfortable if anything.
I love their coffee. I have their mobile app so I place my order when I'm on my way and it's always waiting for me when i arrive. I've even treated my coworkers to a cup of coffee and had them delivered to the office. Super easy on the app. The ONLY reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because their coffee lids drip. So annoying to deal with.

This location, the drinks are great but the customer service isn’t the best. They leave drinks all mixed up without monitoring who’s taking what, it would be a shame if someone stole some else’s drink, then what would happen? Lose money and more work for the workers to make more free drinks. I ordered 2 drinks and they weren’t even next to eachother mind you it was a mobile order and anyone can just freely take the sitting drinks. This will become a problem and I hope it changes.

Great coffee and pastries but they take too long. With your order
Went in with a simple request to steam Cinnamon within the milk for a latte too which I was told that they could not do since it might damage the steam wand they use to heat up said milk. As a former coffee bean employee and barista for multiple small coffee shops I can assure you that this is not true. The Cinnamon is a simple clean, same as the milk that's leftover from when your done steaming. All you have to do is wipe it away. Its just annoying to see that nobody can be bothered to at least attempt to satisfy the customers wish.
My coffee was perfect but Lee took a while to assist me, and when it came time for her to take my order I heard her say “can you repeat that?” So I repeated my order kindly. She proceeded to give me a rude and confused look and say “ICE BLENDED?!” I said yes. I asked her for decaf and oat milk which I didn’t receive my order as.
Slow service. Pastry fridge and display was also empty. Not sure if they're selling or not. Got a line out the door, and my man's is having a full conversation with two customers at the register about antiques. Broooooooo. You got eight people waiting to order. Your six minute conversation about antiques can wait for a different time. I prefer the Sea Bridge location. Better all around.
Worst costumer service. The young ladies working there had the worst attitude especially the one making the drinks. They weren't only rude to me but also to the other customers around who were waiting for their drinks and agreed that they were not going back to that location again. With such a horrible attitude like that you don't belong in customer service dealing with people. I will be contacting corporate first thing tomorrow morning.
This location is the worst. Long wait times, dirty, can’t get an order right. Too corporate for customer service. Try the one on Victoria. They’re better.
Terrible Starbucks knockoff. No one on staff knows what a London Fog is. Took 8 minutes to “warm” a sandwich which was then microwaved, not toasted. Water in the bathroom was hot enough that it caused a burn that had to be treated. When told of this issue, employee said “it runs hot” and laughed. Will be actively recommending against this place.
Horrible service from the team. No kind of good service. They made me wait for my drink for 20 min the 5 girls there were moving slower than a snail. If you don’t want to work you can quit.
So this place does not carry the same ingredients the other locations do. Slow customer service. The “workers” started their inventory count of cups on the register counter while I waited in line. Just save some time and go across the street to Starbucks. 👎🏼👎🏼
I had a horrible experience. I waited in line to be helped and when finally someone came to take my order. There were other customers behind me. The cashier took everyone's orders 1st, then once completed, then started making the drinks without washing her hands. The thing that upset me was that I ordered before everyone and waited until all 6 customers behind received their drinks and left, and then my drink came out last. Can someone explain that to me? The place was packed nowhere to sit down. Some tables that were occupied had no drinks. The refrigerator area in the front was messy, and trash cans over filled.
I been a regular customer here for more than 10 years and I noticed this store got alot of new employees! Your new employees are VERY RUDE!!!!!!! Not only that the drinks taste disgusting and are all water down please retrain them! And when you ask them to remake their drink they get so mad and ignore you and have to ask someone! Your new employee aren’t mention for customer service jobs
What’s this? I didn’t ask for light whipped cream. Who’s managing this location? Awful watered down ice blend. Made me go outta may way to do this bad review on you guys. I will be contacting corporate and sending them pictures. Besides being low on whipped cream seems like they were also low on caramel. Drinks were watered down will not recommend to anyone. I overheard a guy telling the female barista that the caramel drink looked bad she laughed and said it’s good. I wish I had got her name.
If I could give this location 0 stars, trust me, I WOULD. I don’t know if they got new staff, but the wait times are terrible, no one seems to know what they’re doing, the iced blended drinks are watered down, and they can’t follow simple instructions. To begin, last month I went in when it was slow and I was the only person in line. I ordered only 4 drinks yet somehow I was the last to leave after waiting OVER An HOUR for my drinks while some people were accidentally receiving double what they ordered. Hoping that they would be better after some time, I went back yesterday and my grandma went in to order the drinks by showing them a text message of our orders. When we received our drinks, one was completely wrong, it was WHITE when the drink we asked for was supposed to be BROWN. So, we went back in to ask them to remake it which they did. However, while they got the base of the drink correct (a pure chocolate IB), they added an extra ingredient to our drink that we didn’t ask for. So, we went back in to ask them to remake it again, to which they responded saying that they couldn’t remake it again despite getting it completely wrong TWICE and that they couldn’t remake ”tried their best” with the messages they were shown, as if the messages were confusing. I have attached a screenshot of the messages that were directly shown to them, which I believe to be pretty straightforward if you know what you’re doing as an employee there 😒

The guy with the glasses decided to make my drink incorrectly as if I don’t know, he made a latte with the shots, then took the lid back off stuck his nose an inch from the top for about 5-10 seconds until his palette could register that he forgot the ingredients I ordered, he took a cup of powder poured it on the top, then a squirt of caramel sauce then a whisk and twirled it around and I asked him as he was doing that to remake it. He kept twirling it and said this is how we make them. I said, you make them in that mixing cup and he said no we don’t as if I hadn’t been ordering this for 25 years. He refused to remake it. Horrible service, I’ve been up since 5 am and I didn’t miss a step, this guy probably didn’t wake up til 9 am… I’ve spent probably over 30-40k at this company and I won’t go to this location again. Place was packed with people WiFi cruising there was nowhere to sit you had to stand and wait 20 minutes for them to get through their mobile orders to then not care about your drink. Side note, the person behind me ordered oat milk and they used whole milk… I could not say enough, don’t go here clearly they don’t care.

I didn't ask them to do something big, it was just warming my milk which I think should be part of their responsibilities!!! Another day, he also wanted to charge me for 25 cent for an extra cup!!!!!!!!!!!! which usually Starbucks gives it for free!!! I think this shows that they do not respect they customers!!!!

Two workers casually came out if thier car 5 minutes after Upon entering the building about 445am they say ughh were actually not open yet were opening later today. Really who does this ??
