I go to Ruby’s almost every other weekend. They have the most amazing employees! They are always polite, caring and hardworking. The food is always outstanding, my personal favorite is the quesabirria tacos! If you’re looking for amazing food, drinks, and people, you have to try Ruby’s cafe in Oxnard!

Great place for Latin music and concerts

Came here for lunch on a Thursday. Great service! Nice place. Looks like this place gets poppin! Dance floor, bar and a stage! Food is amazing!

Wow what a tremendous place! We saw this advertised on trendy eats video online and I’ve been dying to try it ever since. We finally made the trip out there and it was so freaking worth it. Julian ceviche platter was to die for. We will absolutely be back. The platter taste amazing the drinks were incredible and the staff were on point. Thank you so so much.

Heard about this place on trendi eats and omg this place is amazing! The food was so delicious! The service was great 👍 I love that it’s indoor and outdoor seating. Overall I definitely recommend this place and me and my family will definitely be back! All the staff was great but Yuliana stood out she is so nice and made us feel very welcomed! she deserves a raise:) great place you won’t be disappointed.!:)

We wanted to try a few places down in Oxnard, and this was one of them. We're already stuffed from a taco place we had stopped earlier, so we started with drinks at Ruby's place, and later on my hubby ordered the alguachile verde n rojo. Both were good, but we loveed the green one. Live music in the patio, drinks were good, I had a chamango, and a cantarito that i accidentally spilled all over 😒😔😣 before I could taste it. Our waiter was very nice, and attentive eventhogh he was supper busy. They replace my drink that I spill, which i really appreciate. Hoping to visit in Dec, and looking to stop by to enjoy the great music and delicious alguachiles!! From one of the other reviewers complaining place is next to a bus station and bums walking literally next to their table and felt like they could've snatched their personal belongings: Let me update you, the patio has like a decorative fence so nobody is esposed to the walkway anymore. We felt safe, even when walking to our car.

Went to see one of my favorite singers El Yaki everything was good, i only give it 4 stars due to the size of the club its a little too small you can hardly dance.

Nice place to watch a live music concert. It is Intimate in size, and only plays Mexican musical acts. They serve small, appetizer type plates. They serve buckets of beer and full bar. Security present. Acoustics are good. Big Mexican name's come here! I went late in February, and prior to this, was went it was more or a restaurant that turned into a nite club. Now, it's more defined as a musical venue

Good place to listen to Spanish music. Drinks are ok and prices are fair for a night club / Bar. Just don't over drink so you can get kicked out by security, strict rules about sleeping, hats, or just causing problems. Overall not a bad place.

First!! Parking was a problem, I was worried about my vehicle in this location. Couldn't find parking people hanging around the bus depot were really shady. Second!! The restrooms were atrocious. That was just in the meantime of being seated. The waiter was very nice but very forgetful. He seemed to be more working where he can get the best tips. We ordered two Micheladas one water and the one coke and he forgot one michelada. We received our meal and it looked excellent although I wouldn't recommend ordering the guacamole because it's not worth it for $8. The chips were stail and the salsa was water. Kudos to the chef, the nachos were excellent the ceviche camaron was excellent and the camaron mango habanero was good only because the shrimp was not deveined. If I'm going to pay $18 a plate I would like the shrimp deveined. Then the check came the receipt showed the bill for the meal you weren't allowed to Total the bill if you were giving a credit card so I ended up paying in cash. I drove from the Bakersfield area to visit this place, I wont be visiting this place again. Although many patrons of this establishment seemed to be having a great time. I did not think it was all that great

I was waiting since 6pm and every 30 minutes one of the girls comes out to let us know its a 2 hour wait and pretty much insinuating to leave. There's a lot I mean most of their tables filled with people and no food on their tables. People are literally getting up to complain about their time waiting

Too crowded, cannot dance too many people just standing in the middle not allowing to dance, they charged $100 per table but tables way too big and too few so many people standing. Also men’s bathroom was covered with pee everywhere for too many people and some were peeing next to the bathroom doors, guys getting together in the bathroom who know to do what, crazy there. I am surprised that the place opens as a restaurant during the day with so many code violations during the night but inspections don’t occur at night. They just care about people getting drunk and keep drinking. And the owner and friends are always there so there is no excuse for not noticing.

They all stand around with this weird narcissistic look all night as if they are the main entertainment. The old man in the bathroom is nice. The age group in the club was very diverse, young adults and older adults dancing.
