Been meaning to try and they did not disappoint! Got a chile Verde burrito and man was it on point. Meat, beans, cheese, all of it was perfectly portioned and full of flavor. Definitely will recommend and come back for more. Salsa could use a little salt but that's my fault for not grabbing some

Great Mex. Been going here since I was a kid. Margaritas are 🔥. Full bar, TVs, outdoor seating and located like 100 steps from beach. What else can you ask for other then a refill. Staff is great, very nice. Place hasn't changed in my life time and I like that

Some of the best food I've had in a long time!! The amount of food they give you is amazing you'll have leftovers for sure! They make great drinks as well, and a fun atmosphere. It couldn't have been any better!

Didn’t get a chance to take a photo of my order. But carne asada plate was legit. $21 for around 1lb of meat. (Not exaggerating) Drinks were great! Tried the mai tai.

You'll find the most amazing Marinated Skirt Steak Quesadillas at LA PLAYA!!!! Also the garlic shrimp was smothered with garlic over rice and was delicious. You can buy margaritas at the bar separately from your meal. They have White Claws if you're looking for gluten free drinks.

We love this place. The staff is friendly, the food is tasty, and the margaritas are to die for. We go 3 or 4 times a month. The TVs are great for watching the Giants or the 49ers. They are also very tolerant of children which is great for our group of friends.

Prices are very reasonable, portions are generous, and overall experience is good. My only criticism is the noise level indoors. When the restaurant is full it’s louder than I like, but I don’t hear others fussing about it so it might just be me.

The spicy one is really hot, so much it up with regular salsa to normalize the heat. The portions are quite big and may be good enough for two to share. Side of chips and salsa is offered for no cost. The drinks are mostly variety of margaritas and mojitos. Mango chilli margarita is the best which was served with a 50ml of Don Julio dripping in the glass. Very strong drink that is perfect for hot dinner days. The service is impeccable. Pedro is a cashier and a server who has worked here for 33 years. That reflects that this is a home business which cares about it's workers. I appreciate such restaurants and will always recommend visiting them. La playa is a must visit in Pacifica. The devil's is traditional Mexican which reflects authentic Mexican culture and vibe of a decent restaurant great for families and friends alike

I came here to give them a 5 star rating after casually observing over a couple hours. Sure they could improve but they CRANK it out when they’re busy and still have a smile

Burgers are huge! Shrimp quesadilla is fabulous, never had a bad meal here!

Beachside Mexican restaurant with a stand alone bar and ample indoor and outdoor seating. Just a 2 minute walk from the beach. Quite possibly the best burritos in the entire Bay Area. We specifically come here for them. If you get them, you must order the skirt steak! They are fire grilled and charred to perfection. You won’t regret. They also have a bar in the back which serves beer and cocktails. The margaritas here are great and don’t taste fake at all. The servers here know what they’re doing for sure. The huge plus here is that you can simply walk around the restaurant and the beach is right there. It’s a wonderful location and this restaurant is HIGHLY recommended.

Margaritas are topnotch... all staff are super friendly however they are double super busy.. so it is walk up service, there are no real servers coming around to tables here... bartender is a great fellow and works hard.... have to admit: tables are sticky/dirty and the food is "ok"... not authentic Mexican by any stretch, no offense

The food is great, the problem with this place is they don’t have enough staff. They really should hire a few servers. They’d make more money that way. I’d be way more likely to get another drink or more food if I had a server come to my table. Another issue is cleanliness isn’t the best. They should hire someone to clean the place. Last time I went it smelled of toilet cleaner it was off putting. Why I’m rating 4/5 though and not 1/5 is because the food is really good. The skirt steak nachos and burritos are amazing, the salsa is the best in the area imo, and the House Margarita tastes good and is strong. This place has real potential If they hired more people and servers this place would easily be a 5 star.

The food was for the most part pretty good, some positive and some negative. The beef dishes were good, but the salsa and guacamole were a little bland. The staff was very nice and the service was great. The atmosphere in the restaurant was fantastic and very welcoming, the place looks really nice and the music is great. Fantastic ambience ! Would definatly reccomend, the food is pretty cheap and worth its price !

While I know this is a Mexican Restaurant, they make the BEST Cheeseburgers around! They are made with toasted sourdough rolls with all the trimmings and everything is fresh! They also come with crispy fresh French fries. You will not be disappointed

One of the best burritos I've had in awhile. Everything I've had is great! Staff is super friendly. I give the owners two stars secretly because of price gouging. $9 for one 12oz bottle of Pacifico beer. $8.75 for a 16oz pint of 805 which is not completely unreasonable but how in the heck is 12oz bottle of Pacifico more money than a pint of "craft" beer? A 12 pack of Pacifico at Safeway is $11.99. Other than that this place is great!

Food is good, but don't go when they're busy. My friends and I go because it is still good and fun, but when they're busy, they constantly mess up our orders. Would also be nice if they had some music playing.

The food is great! Anything with skirt steak is must try. I was very off put by the $12 botle of Corona. I guess I'll just be taking my food to go from now on

Food has improved a lot. I used to hate this place a lot. The food wasn't very good. The food has improved. Seating is still weird, awkward, and uncomfortable. I'll check in and see if the improvement holds up. If it does, I'll give them 4 stars. Might move up to fourth or third best Mexican in Pacifica.

The location is great, and the staff was nice. Their food at best is mediocre and overpriced. We were quite disappointed in our food so much so, that we didn't take our leftovers with us. Flavors were definitely off, including the soft drinks. My son did enjoy his cheeseburger and french fries though. Complete waste of $65 in my opinion.

We went to this resturaunt feeling very hungry, thinking that we were in the best place to order some Mexican food. Me and my two family members orders beef tacos, because you can’t go wrong with beef tacos. But, the tacos were far to big. It was filled with a shovel load of beef and sauce which made the tortillas very soggy. We tried to pick them up, they then slightly started pulling apart so we had to eat it with a fork. We also ordered a tortilla soup which it was very sloppy nothing but salty watery salsa. Full of avocado and prices of cheese and tortilla chips. These people do not know what a Mexican cuisine is, and are trying to full the public. Never going back there again !

If I could give 0 stars I would. Extremely disappointing experience. I ordered the fajitas half shrimp half chicken, the meat was a little overcooked and both the beans and rice needed salt added to them in order to have any flavor. I never add salt to my food, but in this case I had to in order for them not to be bland. The chips and guac were the best part of the meal. The staff was also extremely rude, found out later in the night the owner was actually the most rude of them all. Super disappointing experience and we won't be back.

Not a good place to eat Mexican food. There’s better places than this. Please skip this place. Overpriced and not friendly. Table was dirty.
